Ready for a dreamy, romantic Maui elopement? Sometimes love sneaks into your life exactly when you least expect it. For John and Jenifer, that moment came in 2020 during the lockdowns. A simple Facebook connection (encouraged by a mutual friend) turned into conversations, then laughter, then something deeper. Dating wasn’t easy when the world had shut down, but as the months passed, it became clear: this was it. Neither had planned on marriage again, but after nearly five years together, they couldn’t imagine life apart.
Fast forward to September, and Maui set the stage for their “Mauied” moment. They had already planned a family trip with Jenifer’s three boys and their girlfriends, and with John’s blessing, they decided: why not turn this trip into a wedding? Intimate, simple, and unforgettable. Polo Beach offered the perfect backdrop, soft sand, dramatic waves, and that golden Maui light that makes everything feel more romantic! Keep reading to see more!

Their Maui elopement ceremony itself was brimming with meaning. Three of their sons stood proudly beside them, one in spirit, as they exchanged vows. The photos captured it all: John’s adoring glance at Jenifer, the way she glowed with joy, and their family gathered close. Our photography style is always about capturing emotion: the laughter mid-toast, the tenderness of a kiss on the forehead, the way their children looked at them with pride, and this day was filled with it in every frame.

After their vows, the celebration continued with hugs, toasts, a bit of cake, and a first dance on the sand. You could feel the significance in every moment: this wasn’t just a wedding, it was the blending of two lives and two families, stitched together by love and sealed in paradise. And what better setting to celebrate than right on the beach?!

Congratulations, John and Jenifer! Your Maui elopement was not only a celebration of your love story, but also a beautiful reminder that the best chapters often begin when you least expect them!

Here’s the thing about Maui: it has this ridiculous ability to make you believe that time has slowed down in a Maui venue wedding. Which is precisely why Edla and Lachlan knew, basically from their very first trip together, that this island was going to be the place. The place. The spot where they’d trade their “I do’s,” barefoot on golden sand and surrounded by tropical blooms and the ocean.
Edla, who spends her days as a registered nurse, is used to keeping calm under pressure. Lachlan, a marketing director in private equity, is used to thinking strategically about, well, everything. But on their wedding day at the Four Seasons Maui? Both of them were just two people wildly in love, ready to take the next step.
They met online four years ago (proof that swiping right occasionally does lead to happily-ever-after) and got engaged in the sweetest, most them way possible: the night they moved into their first house together. Picture it, boxes stacked everywhere, probably a bottle of champagne balanced precariously on an unpacked side table, and Lachlan down on one knee. And the rest is history! We were so excited to coordinate their special day so keep reading to see more highlights!

Their Maui venue wedding ceremony at the luxe Four Seasons unfolded beneath fragrant trees and a driftwood arch, overlooking the glittering ocean. There were blush-toned bouquets, heartfelt vows, and that kind of sunshine that feels like it’s specifically rooting for you.
The Four Seasons Maui wrapped their wedding in pure elegance. Imagine walking through tropical gardens that smell like plumeria and ginger, every corner framed with palms swaying as though the island itself is clapping for you. The ceremony space? Unreal. Two flowering trees arched overhead like a living canopy, their branches strung with sunlight. Beneath them, a driftwood arch adorned with coral-pink and ivory blooms overlooked the endless blue Pacific, while the West Maui mountains brooded romantically in the background. Guests sat in awe with the ocean glittering behind the couple….

Later, the newlyweds wandered the luxurious grounds. They also stole a kiss by the resort’s grand fountain, where the sound of cascading water enhanced the dreamy mood. Every corner of the property, from lush lawns to oceanfront paths, turned into a cinematic backdrop for their love story.

After they exchanged vows and wiped away happy tears, we whisked Edla and Lachlan to the beach for their newlywed portraits. This is our favorite part, the quiet exhale after the ceremony, when the golden Maui light wraps everything in soft warmth. On Wailea’s sandy shore, the couple strolled barefoot, leaving heart-shaped footprints in the sand. The light danced off Edla’s lace gown, turning every step into something cinematic, while the ocean shimmered behind them in pastel blues and silvers. Their joy was palpable, and our cameras soaked up every dreamy, golden second.

In everyday life, they love hiking, finding hidden gem restaurants, and spoiling their pup. But in Maui, with paradise as witness and the golden hour as their spotlight, Edla and Lachlan began their greatest adventure yet….married life! Congratulations to you both!

Some weddings feel like the perfect punctuation mark to a long and beautiful story, and Belen and Nicholas’ Maui venue wedding was exactly that. Their love story began in middle school as friends, deepened in high school, and carried them through undergrad, graduate school, and into their adult lives. Something clearly had a hand in just how intertwined their lives would be. After 12 years together, they chose August 17th—their anniversary date—to say “I do” in the place that has always brought them peace and joy: Maui.
Nicholas proposed in London on December 22, 2022, a romantic holiday surprise that marked the start of this next chapter. And when their wedding day arrived at Gather, it was nothing short of lovely…

The day began with a brief but sweet first look, a quiet pause before the celebration. In that moment, all the years they had spent together, every milestone, every adventure, every challenge, seemed to come full circle. Then, surrounded by family and friends, they exchanged vows beneath the Hawaiian sky. The setting was simple, elegant, and perfect: love was the true centerpiece, and the joy on every face said it all…

At Gather, the ceremony felt both intimate and elegant. The lush lawn stretched out under the Hawaiian sun, and the atmosphere was filled with the warmth of family and friends who had traveled to celebrate them. The air buzzed with anticipation as guests watched the two of them meet at the altar.
What made it so moving was how personal it felt. Every look, every smile between Belen and Nicholas reflected their story, middle school friends who had grown up side by side, through undergrad, grad school, and into their careers, now standing together to promise forever. Their vows were tender and heartfelt, filled with gratitude for the journey that had brought them here and excitement for the one that lay ahead.

After the ceremony, the magic continued. They slipped away to Southside beach for newlywed portraits, and Maui delivered everything: golden sunlight, gentle waves, and a backdrop that looked almost too perfect to be real. Let’s be honest, though – Maui always delivers! Their portraits glowed with elegance, capturing both the grandeur of the setting and the intimacy of their love.
It was relaxed, heartfelt, and radiant, everything they had hoped for!

Congratulations, Belen and Nicholas! Your wedding was a true reflection of your journey: elegant, meaningful, and filled with joy. Maui held your love story beautifully, and now these beautiful photos will preserve your special day forever! Sending you both so much love and aloha for the years ahead!

If you could sum up Adellena and Josh’s Maui venue wedding in three words, they’d be: relaxed, joyful, unforgettable. Their wedding at Merriman’s was the perfect blend of love, laughter, and the easy, playful vibe they wanted for their newly blended family.
Adellena, a Nurse Anesthesiologist, and Josh, a consultant for Accenture, met on a dating app almost three years ago. Since then, they’ve built a life filled with golf outings, ski trips, wine tastings, and plenty of time with their kids—Nixon (11), Natalie (14), and Caroline (11). For them, travel is a love language, good food is a necessity, and family is everything.
Josh proposed during a snowy walk on a frozen lake in Breckenridge. This adventure was equal parts romantic and slightly risky (frozen lakes aren’t exactly in the proposal handbook, but hey, it worked)! So without further delay, keep reading to see their big day unfold!

Their Maui venue wedding at Merriman’s was all about keeping things simple and meaningful. By the water, with waves providing the soundtrack and the horizon stretching endlessly behind them, they exchanged vows that were as much about their kids as they were about each other. It wasn’t just two people getting married; it was a family coming together.

After the ceremony, the light turned golden, and the newlyweds were joined with their family and friends, soaking in every moment. The kids joined in for photos that were full of personality, hugs, grins, and those little candid moments that show how much love lives here.

After their intimate ceremony, they wandered down to the beach for golden-hour newlywed portraits. The light was pure magic, soft, warm, and glowing, wrapping around them as they laughed, embraced, and soaked in their first moments as husband and wife. Those portraits were everything they wanted their wedding to be: playful, beautiful, and completely real.
Adellena and Josh wanted something fun, easy, and full of heart. That’s exactly what Maui gave them: the ocean breeze, the glow of the setting sun, and a celebration that felt entirely like them!

Congratulations, you two. May this be the start of countless more adventures, together, as one happy, blended family! We wish you nothing but the best in the decades ahead! Mahalo for choosing Simple Maui Wedding for your special day!

Some weddings feel like a warm hug, and Allison and Bob’s Maui venue wedding was exactly that. Set against the lush, timeworn charm of the Rustic Hawaiian Ruins, this celebration was filled with golden light, joyful laughter, and the kind of love that feels solid, real, and full of sparkle.
Let’s talk about these two: Allison is a powerhouse litigator with a brilliant smile and a heart as fierce as it is kind. Bob is a security director who’s equal parts grounded and grinning. Together? An unstoppable duo. They’ve shared many adventures (including multiple trips to Maui, favorites include Makena Landing and Charlie Young Beach), but this one? This one was forever.
The ceremony was tender and intimate, with friends and family gathered close under the sun. You could feel the love from every direction, especially from Allison’s daughter Katie, who looked absolutely radiant alongside her mom. And the way Bob looked at Allison? Swoon. Like he already knew, he hit the jackpot.

It was one of those Maui days where everything just works, the breeze was soft, the florals were vibrant, and the joy was uncontainable. Allison’s lace dress glowed in the light, her bouquet a riot of island color, and Bob beamed like the luckiest guy on Earth.
This was their special day and was made even more beautiful by the gorgeous setting at Rustic Hawaiian Ruins.

Tucked into the greenery and kissed by the Hawaiian sun, the Rustic Hawaiian Ruins are a hidden gem. The historic stone walls are blanketed in vines and framed by swaying palms, creating a backdrop that feels both sacred and relaxed, like nature itself showed up in formalwear for the occasion. There’s a quiet reverence in the space, like the island is holding its breath to witness something truly special.
And special it was. Allison, graceful and radiant in her lace dress, held a bouquet bursting with tropical blooms that echoed the colors all around her. Bob, beaming with that “I get to marry her” energy, looked so at home among the trees and old stones. Together, they said “I do” in one of the most magical corners of Maui, surrounded by their closest friends and family.

The newlyweds snuck away for some portraits, and they turned out beautifully! Can we talk about all the details? From Allison’s lace dress, her tropical flowers, Bob’s intricate lei, and the light! The light was so incredible! This is exactly what we mean by Maui magic. The lighting for their Maui venue wedding portraits was all the feels, and we are here for it all! Talk about newlywed glow!

Mahalo, Allison and Bob, for choosing this enchanting place to say “I do.” Your love lit up the beach and filled the air with aloha. What a beautiful chapter in a story that’s only just beginning! Congratulations!

If you’re wondering what happens when a Maui vow renewal brings together a lifelong dream, two daughters, and a love story that started in a bar called Embassy, well, this is it!
Lisa (dental assistant, dart aficionado, and all-around sunshine) and Wolfi (construction manager and billiards boss) have been together since 2006. Their origin story includes cocktails, club lights, and a proposal at a Bryan Adams concert to Everything I Do (I Do It For You). Honestly, could it be more cinematic?
They were married civilly in 2015, but Lisa always dreamed of a vow renewal in Hawaii. Not just anywhere in Hawaii, but Maui. They came all the way from Austria to make this dream come true…finally! And not just any ceremony, this one included their daughters, Sophia (11) and Mila (10), on the beach at Ironwoods, barefoot and beaming under the golden sun. It was the kind of day where time slows down, the breeze feels like a blessing, and the ocean applauds with every wave.
There was something beautifully carefree about the whole moment. No shoes. No stress. Just laughter, sea spray, and heartfelt promises whispered between two people who’ve already lived a thousand chapters together, and still choose each other every day. Their girls stood beside them, sweet witnesses to their parents’ enduring love, soaking up the joy of it all.

Maui did what it always does: it wrapped them in golden light, kissed their cheeks with ocean wind, and gave them a backdrop worthy of their story. This wasn’t just a Maui vow renewal. It was a full-circle moment. A “we made it” and a “let’s keep going” all rolled into one.

Ironwoods Beach set the stage, and Maui, as it tends to do, delivered a golden sunset so dreamy it felt like it was painted just for them. After their sweet ceremony in the sand, we wandered to the cliffs nearby, rugged, windswept, breathtaking. The kind of place where you can’t help but hold hands a little tighter. The girls joined them for family photos, and the joy radiated from all four of them. Pure sunshine.
The cliffs were nothing short of magical, jagged lava rock meeting the sea, waves crashing in celebration, and that golden light wrapping everything in a glow that made time stand still. It felt cinematic. Honest. Like a celebration not just of marriage, but of everything they’ve built together.
This wasn’t just a vow renewal. It was a promise kept, a dream fulfilled, and a memory made in one of the most beautiful places on earth.

Glückwunsch, Lisa and Wolfi, you brought the magic, and Maui gave it right back! Have a fantastic time with your girls! We know this was a dream come true, and it was an honor to make it happen! Let your sandy Maui barefoot adventures begin!

Some love stories feel like they were always meant to circle back home. For Meghan, born and raised on Maui, there was never a doubt; this island was where she’d say “I do.” And when she and Michael planned their Maui venue wedding at Gather, it wasn’t just about the view (though let’s be honest, the view was stunning). It was about family. Legacy. And starting their forever in a place already filled with so much heart.
Their story began like many modern romances do, swiping right during a pandemic, but their first date? Legendary. Christmas shopping, games at Dave & Buster’s, books at Barnes & Noble, sushi for dinner. (All-day dates are the best kind of spark, aren’t they?) And when Michael proposed in front of his parents after a cozy family dinner? Swoon. The kind of sweet, heartfelt moment you replay forever. Keep reading to see more highlights from their special day! You won’t want to miss Michael’s face when he sees his beautiful bride for the first time!

Their Maui venue wedding was filled with that same warmth, genuine, loving, and beautifully simple. The lighting was golden, the breeze soft, and the energy joyful. Our photography style leaned into all that light and connection, candid laughter, stolen glances, and the glow of two people who truly get each other.
And the cherry on top? Meghan, a pastry chef (yes, dreams do come true), is currently pregnant with their first baby. Talk about starting a new chapter in the most magical way possible.

From the heartfelt ceremony to newlywed sunset portraits kissed by ocean breeze, every moment was deeply meaningful. Because Maui isn’t just a pretty backdrop, it’s home. It’s history. And now, it’s the beginning of their family’s next big adventure.
Meghan and Michael, your day was sweet, soulful, and oh-so-beautiful, just like the love you share. We know how it meant the world to you both to celebrate with your loved ones in a place so near and dear to your hearts!

Let’s set the scene: golden hour on Po’olenalena Beach, the waves rolling in soft and slow, and a breeze that somehow knew it was carrying something big. If you’re wondering what it looks like when love, laughter, and lava rocks collide in the dreamiest possible way, meet John and Charity. These two are the definition of soulmates-who-love-sand-between-their-toes. They said “I do” at their Maui elopement, and honestly? It was elegant, heartfelt, and beachy in the best kind of way.
John is an electrician (with a bear hug that could probably power a small town), and Charity works for the state of California (we’re talking organized, radiant, and with the smile of a woman who knows she just made the best decision of her life). Together, they brought their beautifully blended family to paradise for an unforgettable elopement. And the kind of energy you can only get from a crew that loves dirt bikes, camping, soccer, and adventure. Keep reading to see more of their wonderful day!

Their ceremony was intimate and joyful, with waves crashing in the background and the golden Maui light glowing around them like nature’s own spotlight. Charity looked stunning in her lace gown, barefoot in the sand and glowing with happiness. John, in crisp linen and a maile lei, couldn’t take his eyes off her.

From their barefoot portraits on the lava rocks (hello, romance novel cover vibes!) to their big family moment full of laughs, kisses, and shakas, this wasn’t just a wedding, it was a celebration of us. Of building a life that feels like home, even when it’s on a beach thousands of miles from it. It was relaxed, it was fun, it was family orientated, it was so them. And that’s all dreamt of! Cue the hugs and cheers!

To John and Charity: may your life together be as epic and joy-filled as your Maui elopement. Mahalo for letting us capture your magic! May you keep dancing, loving, learning, and growing together with peace and happiness in your hearts! Enjoy your time on Maui with your family!

Some love stories begin with grand gestures. Others? With a Bumble swipe and a whole lot of destiny.
Angelina and Joshua’s journey took them from Texas (where they met) to the stunning shores of Maui, where they said “I do” in a celebration that was the perfect blend of fun, laid-back, boho, and breathtakingly beautiful. These two adventurous souls have explored the world together: Mexico, Jamaica, the Cayman Islands, Italy, the Dominican Republic. And their wedding felt like the natural next chapter in their travel-filled romance.
The Royal Lahaina Resort provided the dreamiest oceanfront backdrop, with golden sunlight spilling over the palms and waves whispering nearby. And then… the arch. Oh, the arch. Draped in crisp white and adorned with the most vibrant, joyful florals you’ve ever seen, hot pink roses and dahlias, juicy tangerine blooms, and sunshine-yellow orchids that practically threw a party of their own. It was a tropical dreamscape worthy of the couple’s love story…so without further delay, let us show you more of their day!

Angelina looked radiant in her off-the-shoulder lace gown, bouquet bursting with color and confidence. Joshua, dapper in his light suit and maile lei, looked at her like she was the only person in the world (spoiler: to him, she absolutely is).

Their ceremony was heartfelt and deeply rooted in Hawaiian tradition, filled with laughter, emotion, and the kind of authenticity that makes your heart grow three sizes.
It’s no surprise Angelina knew early on that Joshua was the one, he proposed in front of her entire family at Henry Ford State Park. And now, here they were, promising forever with the ocean at their feet and their loved ones cheering them on.

And then came their newlywed portraits: golden, glowy, utterly magical. As the sun dipped lower, it wrapped them in light, casting a soft halo around every kiss, every laugh, every quiet moment. They looked like they belonged in a movie: relaxed, in love, and fully present in the joy of the moment.

Maui now holds a special place in your love story, a perfect addition to all the incredible destinations you’ve explored together. But if we’re being honest, this one might just be the most magical yet! It was truly an honor to be part of your day. Wishing you a lifetime filled with love, laughter, joy, and endless adventures.

When you picture a July 4th celebration, you might think: fireworks, flags, BBQ. But this Independence Day? It was all about love, laughter, and two people saying I do on the edge of paradise. Dain and Heather’s Maui venue wedding at Merriman’s was the kind of dreamy, heart-melting magic that feels like it belongs in a Nicholas Sparks novel… if Nicholas Sparks were a little saltier and more obsessed with floral lace gowns.
With the stunning oceanfront property as their backdrop, Dain and Heather gathered with an intimate group of their closest people. The kind of crowd that makes you feel at home even when you’re standing barefoot on the most breathtaking coastline on Earth. The sun filtered through soft clouds, the waves whispered in the background, and then there they were: hand in hand, hearts wide open, exchanging vows just feet from the surf…

Heather looked radiant! Her dress was a floral lace dream with a veil that danced with the wind. Dain wore a light suit and the kind of smile that said, Yep, I’ve waited my whole life for this. Their ceremony at Merriman’s Maui was emotional, grounded, joyful… and filled with that quiet kind of happiness that doesn’t need to be shouted to be felt.

And instead (or maybe in addition!) to fireworks, their ceremony ended with a lovely petal toss by all their guests. And let’s mention everyone got the memo about the red, white, and blue dress code. How fun!
Afterward, they wandered down to the beach for newlywed portraits, the kind where the laughter is real and the kisses are spontaneous. Every photo radiates warmth and connection, like the kind of love you know will last.

It was a celebration not just of freedom, but of finding the person you’re free to be fully yourself with!
Dain and Heather, we’re so honored to have captured this moment. Fireworks optional… your love was sparkly enough! Congratulations!

Mitzie and Jason’s Maui elopement wasn’t about pomp or grandeur, it was about family, joy, and the quiet kind of magic that comes when love grows slowly and meaningfully.
They met because of their daughters. Keiko and Gemma, both spirited 7-year-olds, were best friends in preschool, the kind of best friends who clearly know more than you do and will tell you so. Mitzie, then pregnant with her son Kian, met Jason during those preschool days, and a few months after Kian was born, she and Jason started dating.
Their love story is modern, real, and effortlessly romantic, like Jason proposing at a cozy restaurant, no grand speeches, just a ring pulled from his pocket and the kind of look that says, this is it. You’re it. Keep reading to see more of their beautiful celebration!

They centered their Maui ceremony around family, keeping it beautifully intimate. Keiko, Kian, and Gemma wore flower adornments and radiated joyful energy, making the celebration even more special. Mitzie’s family traveled from Japan, and Jason’s mom was there too. Maui, with all its soft skies and ocean breeze, was the perfect meeting point for both families.
Instead of a big wedding, they opted for something more meaningful: a celebration that was part love story, part family vacation, and entirely them.

After their heartfelt ceremony, they snuck away for sunset portraits. Mitzie radiant, Jason dapper, and the two of them lost in the kind of just-married joy that makes the world feel like it’s glowing.
This elopement was sweet, soulful, and beautifully relaxed, proof that when your love story is already extraordinary, the wedding doesn’t need to be over-the-top. It was a beautiful family-focused celebration that focused on what truly matters.

Congratulations, Mitzie and Jason! Here’s to your love, your family, and every beautiful chapter to come!

Okay, but what’s better than a love story that starts with growing up in the same town and ends with saying I do in paradise? Not much. Enter: Emily and Jake.
These two have basically been orbiting each other since middle school, same class, same hometown, same friend circles. But it wasn’t until college, with a little help from mutual friends again (we love the consistency), that things shifted. Sparks flew. Coffee dates happened. By 2018, they were officially them.
Fast forward a few years, one cozy little house together, and a hike through the park near that very first home, where Jake got down on one knee in May 2024. It was just the two of them. Quiet, intentional, perfect. When it came to planning their wedding, they wanted their big day to be just as perfect too…

So when it came time to plan a wedding, they wanted something just as meaningful. Cue: Maui. And not just any spot on the island, Emily and Jake tied the knot at Gather Maui, surrounded by their closest friends and family, the breeze off the ocean, and a whole lot of love.
Everything about their day felt intimate and personal. From the warm ceremony with tropical touches to the way the light danced on Emily’s dress as they said their vows, it was basically a Pinterest board come to life, but better, because it was them.

And the beach portraits after? Chef’s kiss. The lighting was golden and soft, wrapping around them like a little Maui blessing from the sun gods themselves. The kind of light that makes you feel like you’re watching the beginning of forever. (Because you are.)

Congratulations, Emily and Jake, you pulled off something so beautiful, so true to who you are. A love story years in the making, sealed with a kiss… and a sunset.
