Adellena, a Nurse Anesthesiologist, and Josh, a consultant for Accenture, met on a dating app almost three years ago. Since then, they’ve built a life filled with golf outings, ski trips, wine tastings, and plenty of time with their kids—Nixon (11), Natalie (14), and Caroline (11). For them, travel is a love language, good food is a necessity, and family is everything.

Yes. That’s how it started for Kayla and Tyson, and yes, their Maui venue wedding is even more romantic than it sounds.

Kayla wasn’t expecting to fall for the artist behind the ink, especially not someone with dreamy green eyes and a smile that could melt steel. But the universe had other plans. When you picture a July 4th celebration, you might think: fireworks, flags, BBQ. But this Independence Day? It was all about love, laughter, and two people saying I do on the edge of paradise. Dain and Heather’s Maui venue wedding at Merriman’s was the kind of dreamy, heart-melting magic that feels like it belongs in a Nicholas Sparks novel… if Nicholas Sparks were a little saltier and more obsessed with floral lace gowns.

With the stunning oceanfront property as their backdrop, Dain and Heather gathered with an intimate group of their closest people.
