Originally planning a large traditional Filipino wedding, Eunice’s overseas orders meant the couple needed a beautiful, intimate alternative. Picture a turquoise ocean gently lapping at golden sands, sunlight spilling like liquid gold, and the soft glow of the sky. It’s nature’s very own decor for a dreamy beach wedding!

Maui delivered exactly (as it always does!) what they were hoping for: intimate, simple, and relaxed. To make it even more special, this was their first time in Maui, too! So with just their closest family present, every moment of the day felt personal, meaningful, and wrapped in the golden Hawaiian light…

From the moment they arrived on the beach, the couple was radiant! The soft sand beneath their feet, the ocean waves as their soundtrack, and the gentle breeze in the air created the kind of setting that makes a Maui elopement truly unforgettable. Our photographer captured every candid laugh, tender glance, and joyous moment as Eunice and Wildy said “I do,” showing that even a small ceremony can be incredibly magical.

The day was a celebration of their journey, from meeting in Virginia as co-workers in 2017, bonding over Marvel movie marathons, to Wildy’s New Year’s Day proposal in Honolulu in 2025. It was a reminder that sometimes love doesn’t need grand gestures or big crowds; it thrives in meaningful, intentional moments shared with the people who matter most!

Celebrating In Style

Their beach celebration was heartfelt and personal. After exchanging vows, the couple took in the breathtaking scenery for sunset-drenched portraits. Their closest family shared in the joy, watching the couple beaming on the soft sand. They celebrated with a small cake on the beach with their family, because why not?!

The soft sand, gentle waves, and pastel hues of the sky created a naturally romantic canvas. The golden hour light kissed everything it touched, bathing Eunice and Wildy in a soft, dreamy glow, perfect for their newlywed portraits.

From the story of how they met in Virginia in 2017, bonded over Marvel movies, to Wildy’s New Year’s Day proposal in Honolulu, every step of their journey was honored. Their Maui elopement was a reflection of their shared life, their love, and the pure joy of being together.

When you picture a July 4th celebration, you might think: fireworks, flags, BBQ. But this Independence Day? It was all about love, laughter, and two people saying I do on the edge of paradise. Dain and Heather’s Maui venue wedding at Merriman’s was the kind of dreamy, heart-melting magic that feels like it belongs in a Nicholas Sparks novel… if Nicholas Sparks were a little saltier and more obsessed with floral lace gowns.

With the stunning oceanfront property as their backdrop, Dain and Heather gathered with an intimate group of their closest people. The kind of crowd that makes you feel at home even when you’re standing barefoot on the most breathtaking coastline on Earth. The sun filtered through soft clouds, the waves whispered in the background, and then there they were: hand in hand, hearts wide open, exchanging vows just feet from the surf…

Heather looked radiant! Her dress was a floral lace dream with a veil that danced with the wind. Dain wore a light suit and the kind of smile that said, Yep, I’ve waited my whole life for this. Their ceremony at Merriman’s Maui was emotional, grounded, joyful… and filled with that quiet kind of happiness that doesn’t need to be shouted to be felt.

And instead (or maybe in addition!) to fireworks, their ceremony ended with a lovely petal toss by all their guests. And let’s mention everyone got the memo about the red, white, and blue dress code. How fun!

Afterward, they wandered down to the beach for newlywed portraits, the kind where the laughter is real and the kisses are spontaneous. Every photo radiates warmth and connection, like the kind of love you know will last.

It was a celebration not just of freedom, but of finding the person you’re free to be fully yourself with!
