Nicole, meanwhile, needed a little more convincing. Eventually, Taylor asked what her dream proposal looked like. Her answer was wonderfully specific: absolutely no public spectacle. So, after Nicole returned home from a trip to Europe, she found a ring waiting on the counter with a note. She slipped it onto her finger, called Taylor to say yes, and then went to bed.
