Our styled shoot at Outrigger Ka’anapali Beach Resort wedding venue kicked off with our bride getting ready in one of their newly remodeled rooms, adorned in tranquil ocean-inspired tones — the perfect setting to start the day!. Talk about setting the mood! The beautiful bridal attire was provided by Maui’s Best bridal shop Elly’s Formal Wear, they have the best staff and a gorgeous selection of dresses and suits.

Not only is she drop-dead stunning (I mean, come on), but she’s also a total powerhouse—model, beauty queen, mom of four AND part of the magic-making team at Salon 253 Bride.

She did her own flawless makeup and had her beachy waves styled by none other than Adiel, the salon’s incredible founder.

Now, let’s talk about the vibe—because it’s good. Like, really good.

You might already know and love the Outrigger Kaʻanapali Beach Resort… even if you didn’t realize it. That’s because this gem was formerly the beloved Kaʻanapali Beach Hotel, affectionately known as “Maui’s Most Hawaiian Hotel.” And while it’s had a bit of a glow-up under new ownership, don’t worry—the heart and soul of the place is still gloriously Hawaiian. And that’s what makes it such a standout among wedding venues Maui has to offer—it’s not just pretty (though it really, really is); it’s meaningful.

Outrigger didn’t just change the name and call it a day. The ceremony spot here offers seriously stunning oceanfront vibes—it’s about as close as you can get to saying “I do” with your toes in the sand at this iconic beach.

While actual beach weddings aren’t allowed here (thanks to state permitting rules—we know, womp womp), this venue location in Maui gives you all the beauty without breaking any laws. Win-win!

And get this: our officiant Charles Nahale wasn’t just all talk—he kept the crowd entertained with live music that made everything feel instantly joyful.

We got a little of everything that day—sunshine, soft rain, and yes, full-on rainbows.

Post-ceremony, we wandered through the lush, tropical grounds to snap portraits under towering palms and old growth trees.

And while we couldn’t follow the couple down to the beach (due to permit laws—we’re nothing if not rule-followers), they took a romantic stroll along the shoreline with pastel skies above them while our photographers stayed on the resort grounds with a zoom lens and captured the Kaanapali sunset vibe.
