Love stories shaped by different cultures and shared adventures tend to carry a quiet depth. And Ilaria and Advan’s Maui elopement at Poʻolenalena Beach was a beautiful reflection of that. Intimate, thoughtful, and deeply personal, their wedding day felt intentionally crafted to honor not just their relationship, but the life they’ve been building together across countries and traditions.
They’ve been together for over six years, their story began in Ireland, where they met and fell in love almost instantly. Advan, an aesthetic specialist dentist born in Ireland to a Sri-Lankan family, and Ilaria, originally from Italy and now living in Ireland for nearly a decade, share busy professional lives, but also a deep love for nature, long walks, hiking, and travel. When they aren’t working, they’re dreaming of the next adventure (and quietly planning for the family they hope to grow soon).
Their original dream was a Hawaiian honeymoon. But after a family member described Maui as a once-in-a-lifetime paradise, one thought changed everything: why only honeymoon here when we can get married here too? Advan had proposed a year earlier, right after they purchased their first home together. It was a milestone that made everything feel real and grounded. A large wedding never felt like the right fit, but an elopement in Maui? That felt perfect!

Poʻolenalena Beach delivered its quiet, breathtaking beauty, soft sand, glowing light, and an atmosphere that felt calm and sacred all at once. Their ceremony was deeply personal, filled with intention and presence. All they needed was right there in that moment; just the two of them and the natural beauty of Maui they love so much.

Their newlywed portraits were effortlessly romantic and full of personality. Ilaria wore an untraditional floral dress that felt both modern and whimsical, the soft pattern adding a pastel touch against Maui’s natural tones. Paired with the gentle light and ocean backdrop, the dress moved gracefully as they walked together, perfectly reflecting her joyful spirit. Alongside Advan’s relaxed, polished look, their portraits felt intimate and authentic. It was a celebration of love that didn’t follow rules, only what felt right to them.

This wasn’t just a wedding; it was the beginning of a life built with purpose, love, and adventure! Congratulations, Ilaria and Advan, on a truly beautiful start to forever. We were honored to bring your beautiful day to life!

Some love stories take their time to blossom. Sometimes they stretch across middle school hallways, college campuses, new cities, and long-distance calls that last late into the night. Kyle and Karissa’s journey has been just that kind of story! And their Maui venue wedding at Royal Lahaina Resort felt like the most beautiful chapter yet.

There are weddings that feel like they were lifted straight from a dream, glowing light, heartfelt vows, and a backdrop so breathtaking it practically hums with magic. And then there’s Debbie and Peter’s Maui venue wedding at the Grand Wailea Chapel, which somehow managed to be all that and something more: elegant, emotional, and completely, wonderfully them.
The moment we stepped inside the chapel, it felt like entering a sacred space. That iconic stained-glass window, bursting with rainbows, plumeria blooms, and island scenes, wrapped the whole ceremony in a soft, celestial glow. As Debbie and Peter stood at the altar, framed by the colors of Maui itself, the scene looked almost too beautiful to be real. Their bridesmaids stood by their side in flowing ombré gowns, creating a vibrant, joyful palette of pinks and oranges that echoed the island’s own sunset tones. The aisle lined with rose petals, the warm wood pews, and the symmetry of the chapel all built a serene, romantic cocoon around them…Keep reading to see more of their beautiful day!

Debbie and Peter’s Maui venue ceremony inside the Grand Wailea Chapel felt intimate, luminous, and overflowing with emotion. Bathed in the glow of the iconic stained-glass window behind them, they exchanged vows surrounded by vibrant florals, warm wood tones, and the soft hush of a space built for moments exactly like this. The tender way they looked at each other made the ceremony feel both timeless and deeply personal, a perfect reflection of their love in one of Maui’s most magical venues!

And then came the joy, the radiant, throw-your-hands-in-the-air kind. The family photos outside the chapel were filled with so much laughter and celebration. Debbie, stunning in her feathered mini dress, and Peter, classic and handsome in his tux, looked like they stepped straight off the cover of a modern romance. Their energy was contagious, playful, elegant, and deeply in love.
After the ceremony, we wandered the Grand Wailea grounds, letting Maui’s golden light follow us. The palm trees, the fountains, the sweeping staircase, each spot became a backdrop for moments that felt impossibly cinematic. And when they reached the beach, leaning into each other as waves rolled in, the entire day came full circle. Timeless. Classic. Elegant!

Debbie and Peter’s wedding wasn’t just special…It was luminous. Joy-filled. A celebration that felt like Maui itself was blessing them into their next chapter together as husband and wife!
Congratulations to the beautiful couple! What an unforgettable day! Mahalo for choosing Simple Maui Wedding!

Some love stories are written slowly, in the quiet in-between moments, in hallways between classes, in years spent growing apart and finding your way back. Some love stories are like ocean tides; they take their time, pull you in gently, and before you know it, you’re exactly where you’re meant to be. For Vanessa and Cody, that place was the golden shores of Wailea Beach Resort, where they shared an intimate and joy-filled Maui venue wedding that felt like a dream come true.
Their story began years ago in high school, a friendship that quietly waited for its perfect timing. In their late twenties, Cody, with his steady persistence and warm smile, finally convinced Vanessa to say yes to that first date. And the rest, as they say, was meant to be. Keep reading to see more of their beautiful day!

Back home in Auburn, Alabama, life is full and busy. Cody works as a lineman, while Vanessa runs her horseback-riding lesson and boarding facility. Between five dogs, long workdays, and a few golf rounds, they rarely find time to pause. So when Vanessa suggested a Maui destination wedding, it was the perfect escape: relaxed, effortless, and full of love.
Their ceremony unfolded with the ocean sparkling just beyond, a soft breeze weaving through palm leaves as the Hawaiian sun painted everything gold. Vanessa looked radiant in her flowing gown, part ethereal, part beach goddess, while Cody’s light-blue jacket and open smile mirrored the island sky. Together, they were pure joy, the kind that makes you believe in destiny!

As the sun slipped behind the horizon, they wandered barefoot along the lush property, lava rocks, and glowing shoreline. It was as romantic as ever! The green lawn and the sweeping ocean views made their portraits feel that much more cinematic. And the wind on top of it all added to the feeling of carefree joy and newlywed bliss! Their portraits captured everything Maui embodies: freedom, warmth, and the magic of new beginnings.

Congratulations, Vanessa and Cody! Your Maui venue wedding was a perfect blend of heart, adventure, and the kind of love that always finds its way home. It was a joy to be a part of your incredible day! We wish you nothing but love and light in your future together!

If you’re wondering what happens when a Maui vow renewal brings together a lifelong dream, two daughters, and a love story that started in a bar called Embassy, well, this is it! Some love stories sparkle with serendipity, and Frank and Elena’s Maui elopement was one of those stories that felt written in stardust. Born on the same day as Frank’s parents, and with Hawaii already woven into their family history (it was his parents’ honeymoon destination!), it only made sense that their own “I do” would happen surrounded by golden light, ocean waves, and the spirit of aloha.
But before their Ironwoods Beach ceremony came a proposal story that deserves its own rom-com. Picture this: a cozy Italian restaurant, a violinist playing the Jurassic Park theme (yes, really), and Frank trying not to laugh as he delivered his heartfelt proposal speech. To top it off, the host accidentally took his jacket, the one with the ring in it, so he had to pull off an elaborate, stealthy dance move to retrieve it without spoiling the surprise. Somehow, it all worked perfectly. Elena said yes, and the rest was pure magic! And now their amazing day has finally arrived!

Their Maui elopement mirrored everything that makes them them: fun, romantic, and delightfully genuine. Elena looked ethereal in her gown, her smile radiant against the dramatic cliffs of Ironwoods. Frank couldn’t stop grinning, clearly still amazed that the woman who shared his mother’s birthday also shared his heart. The soft wind, the waves, and the warm glow of sunset wrapped around them like a blessing.
Every moment felt intimate and personal, a love story years in the making, now written into the sands of Maui. It was everything hoped for and more!

After their ceremony, as the last rays of sunlight began to dip behind the cliffs, they shared their first moments with some cake as husband and wife, wrapped in the soft colors of the Maui sky. Their newlywed portraits captured everything that words can’t quite express: the joy, the quiet disbelief that this is real, and the kind of laughter that comes when two best friends realize forever just started.

Congratulations, Frank and Elena! Your Maui elopement was a dream, and your newlywed portraits capture not just how beautiful the day was, but how beautifully you love each other!

Some love stories just belong by the ocean, and Jamie and Miles’ Maui elopement was one of them. Beneath the wide blue sky at Maluaka Beach, these two souls promised forever in the most effortless, heartfelt way imaginable. It was a day kissed by sunlight, wrapped in the sound of gentle waves, and filled with quiet joy that lingered long after the last photograph was taken.
Jamie looked absolutely radiant, her gown flowing like sea foam, her veil catching the breeze in soft, weightless ribbons. Miles, in his light gray suit, stood barefoot in the golden sand, his eyes lighting up the second she stepped onto the beach. There’s something about that moment, when the world narrows to just two people and a promise, that feels almost sacred…

Their ceremony was intimate and deeply moving, and we’ve seen a lot of weddings in our day! The officiant’s Hawaiian blessing drifted through the air, carried by the trade winds, as leis were exchanged and smiles beamed. The ocean stretched endlessly behind them, a witness to their love. It was simple, meaningful, and perfectly elegant. It was everything they hoped for! There is nothing truly more moving than seeing two people totally in love, saying “I do” by the ocean.

Afterward, Jamie and Miles wandered along the shoreline, the sun dipping lower and painting everything in honeyed light. They laughed, kissed, and stole glances that said everything words couldn’t. Even their “Just Maui’d” sign felt perfectly them, sweet, simple, and joyful.
Maluaka Beach has this rare magic, a sense that time slows down just enough for you to notice how lucky you are. And for Jamie and Miles, that’s exactly what this day was: a moment out of time, filled with beauty, love, and the soft promise of forever.

Wishing you both a lifetime of laughter, adventure, and countless sunsets just as stunning as the one you shared on your wedding day.
Here’s to forever in paradise, congratulations again, Mr. and Mrs. Trylovich!

Some stories feel like they’re written in the stars or, in this case, written by the waves. Mason and Jenny’s Maui beach wedding at Polo Beach was a picture of effortless romance: soft golden light, gentle surf, and two people who looked like they had just stepped out of a dream.
Both from the DC area, Mason, originally from Connecticut, and Jenny, from North Carolina, these two foodies and travelers have built a life full of shared adventures and laughter (and their two beloved standard poodles, Milky and Coco). Their love story began in college nearly seven years ago and led them around the world, even to Japan, where Mason proposed at a serene hot springs inn with Mt. Fuji in the background. That memory, surrounded by natural beauty and quiet magic, set the tone for their Maui “I do.” Keep reading to see more of their incredible day!

They chose Maui because they wanted a place that felt eternal, a destination they could always return to. Polo Beach offered exactly that: a romantic, timeless setting where the ocean seemed to shimmer just for them. The ceremony was intimate and heartfelt, shared with their closest family and friends who traveled to celebrate love under the Hawaiian sky. They exchanged their vows in the center of an exquisite pastel colored floral circle that made their ceremony even more magical…

Afterward, they took newlywed portraits along the shore, the light softening into dreamy pastels. The waves lapped at their feet as they laughed, held hands, and simply soaked in the moment. It was tender, joyful, and utterly them.

Their newlywed portraits were pure romance, the kind that makes your heart ache in the best possible way. Against the soft glow of the Maui sunset, Mason and Jenny looked completely lost in each other. She held her pastel bouquet close, the delicate pinks and creams mirroring the dreamy sky above, while he wrapped her in an embrace that said everything words couldn’t. The golden light kissed her gown as it trailed gracefully across the sand. Maui was totally showing off for the new Mr. and Mrs. that evening!
The simplicity of the beach, the rhythm of the waves, and the tender joy between them made every image timeless. You could feel the love, gratitude, and sheer wonder radiating from them. The golden sun illuminated their love most breathtakingly…

Congratulations, Mason and Jenny! Your Maui wedding was the perfect blend of beauty, love, and adventure. May every return to the island feel like coming home.

There’s something undeniably magical about eloping in Maui. Maybe it’s the way the sun melts into the horizon, or how the ocean waves roll in for the perfect soundtrack. For Anthony and Madelaine, their Maui elopement wasn’t just a wedding, it was an experience where love met the beauty of family.
Their ceremony took place at Po‘olenalena Beach, one of those rare places where time seems to stand still. The scene needed no decoration, Maui itself was the perfect setting. The golden sand, swaying palms, and gentle rhythm of the Pacific created a natural cathedral, reminding everyone that sometimes, all you need is love (and maybe a little tropical breeze)…

What made the day even more special was having their kids by their side, witnessing this beautiful new chapter unfold. Their laughter and beaming smiles added a warmth that only family can bring. It wasn’t just a wedding, it was a celebration of their love story and the family they’ve built together.
Anthony and Madelaine stood in the sand, surrounded by the beauty of the island and the enormity of the moment. Their vows were simple and heartfelt, full of laughter and emotion. Their Maui elopement was a pure hearted family affair…

Eloping in Maui offers something truly special: the freedom to focus entirely on what matters, love, family, and the breathtaking scenery around you. The island permits you to breathe, to slow down, and to celebrate love in its purest form.
After they exchanged their vows beneath the golden Maui sun, we captured some family portraits with their sweet kiddos, and honestly, it was pure joy. The way Anthony and Madelaine looked at their children, eyes full of love and pride, was enough to melt anyone’s heart. These photos weren’t just portraits; they were a reflection of their happiness, their bond, and the beautiful life they’ve built together in paradise. The sunset was incredible that evening and made everything golden and glow. The setting couldn’t have been more romantic! Madelaine looked incredible with her flowing veil and Anthony looked so handsome in this classic navy suit. Together, they are a match made in paradise…

Congratulations, Anthony and Madelaine! Your day was as beautiful and genuine as the love that brought you here. Maui was lucky to have you. Have a lovely time with your family!

Some weddings feel like a celebration of not just love, but of life. Tom and Rose’s Maui venue wedding at Gather was exactly that: relaxed, joyful, and full of warmth. The evening glowed, and it was clear that two people clearly found home in each other.
Tom, a construction estimator and branch manager, and Rose, a scheduler for Kaiser Permanente, met the way great stories often begin, through friends, at a country concert in 2019. Sparks flew somewhere between the music and the laughter, and a friendship turned into something much deeper. Four and a half years later, surrounded by their daughters on a trip to Oahu, Tom proposed the start of a new chapter built on love, family, and shared adventures. When their wedding day finally came, we couldn’t have been happier to help bring it all together and capture the magic!

Their wedding at Gather reflected exactly who they are: relaxed, simple, and fun. Maui has always been their favorite island, and the venue’s ocean views, golden light, and gentle breeze made it feel like a dream. Friends and family watched on as they exchanged their vows. You could feel how loved they are, how much support surrounded them as they said “I do.” They had the most stunning arch with tropical flowers that truly made the moment even more beautiful…

After the ceremony, Tom and Rose slipped away with our photographer for a few quiet moments by the ocean. The newlywed portraits were stunning, soft sunlight wrapping around them, the Pacific stretching out endlessly behind. Rose looked radiant in her gown, her joy impossible to miss. Tom couldn’t stop smiling at his beautiful bride! Together, they looked like everything this place represents: peaceful, grounded, and full of life.

As the evening unfolded, Maui treated everyone to one of those sunsets that felt almost unreal. The sky turned molten gold, the kind of light that wraps everything it touches in warmth. Tom and Rose’s portraits were drenched in that glow, soft, golden, and full of life. You could see the shimmer of the ocean behind them, the light dancing on the sand as they were framed against the horizon. Every photo felt like it carried a piece of that Maui magic. Their smiles brighter, their love illuminated in a way only the island can do!

Congratulations, Tom and Rose! Your day was such a beautiful reflection of your love, full of laughter, golden light, and the people who mean the most to you. From the heartfelt ceremony to those glowing sunset portraits, every moment felt joyful and true. We’re so happy for you both and wish you a lifetime of adventures, family, and sunshine wherever you go next!

A Maui beach wedding has its own kind of magic, golden light, soft waves, and the feeling that time has slowed down just for you. For Brett and Emily, their Southside Beach wedding was everything they’d dreamed of: romantic, joyful, and filled with meaning from start to finish.
Their love story began on Hinge, a modern swipe that turned into something extraordinary. During their early days together, Emily was facing a family crisis, and Brett’s empathy and unwavering kindness shone through immediately. He became her rock, the calm in the storm, and over time, her forever. When he proposed in July 2024 in front of the Mendenhall Glacier in Juneau, Alaska, it felt like the perfect next chapter. We were beyond thrilled to bring their vision for their vows to life!

Brett, a civil engineer and drummer, brings structure and rhythm to everything he does. Emily, an interior designer who specializes in 3D renderings, has an eye for beauty and detail. Together, they create balance, his steady meets her creative, his logic meets her spark. This trip to Maui was extra special: Brett’s second visit, but Emily’s first, a dream come true for someone who’s always loved all things tropical.

Their Maui beach wedding reflected that love for simplicity and sunshine. No elaborate staging, no overdone details, just genuine emotion with their loved ones present. Emily looked radiant in the Maui light, her gown soft and graceful, while Brett watched her with the quiet awe of a man who knows exactly how lucky he is.

After their vows, the newlywed portraits were pure perfection. The Maui sun wrapped them in gold, reflecting off the water and turning every frame into something timeless. You can see it in the way they look at each other. Emily was glowing with happiness, Brett’s smile calm and certain. The laughter, the soft kisses, the way their hands always found each other, it all felt effortless and completely real.
That’s the beauty of timeless Maui wedding photography: nothing posed, nothing forced. Just love, light, and the kind of connection that only grows stronger with time.

Their Maui beach wedding newlywed photos are absolutely breathtaking, the kind that make you believe in love stories that belong on a postcard.
Every image feels alive with that signature Maui warmth, soft light, shimmering water, and an undeniable sense of romance. The way the couple moves together feels so natural, like the island itself is part of their rhythm. Her gown, all lace and flow, catches the sunlight like sea foam while his sand-colored suit ties it all together in the most timeless, tropical way.
What stands out most is the ease between them, their laughter, the way he pulls her close, the way she looks up at him like there’s no one else in the world. You can almost hear the ocean behind them, the gentle rush of waves echoing their joy.
The photos where they step into the surf are pure magic. There’s something so spontaneous, so joyfully them about it, not caring about the water or the sand, just living in the moment. That splash of saltwater, the soft breeze through her hair, his kiss on her shoulder, those details turn this collection from simply beautiful to unforgettable.

That’s the beauty of a Maui beach wedding; nothing posed, nothing forced. Just love, light, and the kind of connection that only grows stronger with time.
Congratulations, Brett and Emily. Your Maui beach wedding was as radiant and enduring as the island itself!

A Maui elopement feels like the definition of romance: quiet waves, soft light, and two people starting forever with the ocean as their witness. For Ruth and Francisco, it was everything they’d ever wanted.
They met ten years ago on a night out with friends and have been writing their love story ever since. After a decade together, they decided to skip the stress and plan something simple, beautiful, and completely their own. Their first trip to Maui turned into the trip of a lifetime, a wedding and a honeymoon all in one! And we were honored to bring their dream day to life! Curious to see more of their special day? See these gorgeous highlights below!

Polo Beach gave them the perfect backdrop. The afternoon light was golden, the breeze gentle, and the waves seemed to applaud with every “I do.” It was peaceful and full of heart, the kind of moment that lingers long after you leave the island.
They chose a Maui elopement because it blended everything they loved: beauty, ease, and meaning. No long guest lists, no timelines to juggle. Just the two of them, barefoot in the sand, focused on what truly matters: their love. And with a simple package that handled all the details, they were free to be fully present in every moment.
Ruth was radiant in a classic column gown, the fabric catching the light with every step. Together, they were the definition of tropical elegance. Francisco looked incredible in a blush pink suit, modern, confident, and perfectly suited to the island’s warmth. We are all for grooms in pink!

Their portraits glowed with joy, bright, airy images filled with laughter, tenderness, and that Maui magic you can’t quite describe but always remember. You can see it in the way he looked at her, and in how she smiled back, completely at peace.
They chose a Maui elopement because it offered what mattered most: simplicity, intimacy, and beauty. No guest list, no schedule, just two people promising forever in paradise.
Ruth and Francisco’s day was calm, joyful, and deeply romantic, proof that the best weddings are about love, not logistics. And did Maui deliver at sunset! The sky was soft shades of pink and lilac, almost as if the island got the memo about this very moment. So dreamy!

Congratulations to these two on their unforgettable elopement! We wish you an amazing honeymoon! May you have a lifetime of joy and happiness together!

Some love stories feel like they were always meant to circle back home. For Meghan, born and raised on Maui, there was never a doubt; this island was where she’d say “I do.” And when she and Michael planned their Maui venue wedding at Gather, it wasn’t just about the view (though let’s be honest,

Karen and John knew what they wanted in a wedding: a beach that felt wild, romantic, and timeless. After researching all the dreamy options, the idea of a Maui elopement checked every box. Enter Ironwoods Beach, a stretch of sand that looks like it was designed specifically for love stories.
Their own story started online. A year and a half later, John skipped the grand gestures. No fireworks, no violin quartet. One morning over coffee, he looked at Karen and asked, “So when are we getting married?” Casual. Honest. Perfect for them.
And while this was an elopement, it wasn’t about including family. It was about honoring them. The date they chose would have been Karen’s parents’ 65th wedding anniversary. On her hand, she wore John’s grandmother’s wedding ring, a piece of history first made in the 1800s, last exchanged in September of 1924. Nearly a century later, it gleamed again in the Hawaiian sunshine, a quiet witness to another love story….

Standing on Ironwoods Beach, waves crashing, light spilling golden across the sand, everything felt layered with meaning. The photos show it all: Karen in her gown, John’s easy smile, the way they leaned into each other like the world was theirs. The backdrop? Untamed cliffs, endless ocean, and a sense of forever.
This day wasn’t about extravagance. It was about love, simple, enduring, passed from one generation to the next. And Maui, with all its beauty, gave them the stage they deserved.
John wore a sharp tux and Karen shimmered in a glittery gown that caught the light with every step, like the ocean itself had woven it for her. Together, they looked radiant. Add the Maui sun, warm, golden, generous, and suddenly the entire scene felt timeless.

Photographing at Ironwoods is always stunning, but this day felt like it was on another level. The bright, airy light poured across the sand, softening every detail and giving their portraits that forever quality. The ocean was sparkling and the colors were so vivid and bright. Honestly, could there be any more picturesque location to elope? We think not!

Congratulations, Karen and John! Your Maui elopement wasn’t only beautiful, it was deeply meaningful. Your family was right there with you by your side. We wish you both all the love and joy in the years to come!

Mike and Lindsey’s Maui elopement was the definition of timeless romance, soft, serene, and filled with the kind of quiet joy that only comes when two people know they’ve found their forever. Their story began a decade ago at The Capital Grille, a casual encounter that slowly became the foundation of a life built together. Last summer, on a sailboat in Kennebunkport, Maine, Mike proposed, a moment as cinematic as it was heartfelt.
Fast-forward to Maui, where their elopement unfolded against the golden glow of Southside Beach. The ocean stretched endlessly behind them, waves rolling in rhythm with their vows. It was intimate and uncomplicated, focused on what mattered most: their love, their promises, and the life they’ve built with their two children. Retired and free to travel, Mike and Lindsey chose to celebrate in the most fitting way, by living fully, savoring the now, and sealing it with a kiss by the shore…Keep reading to see more of their amazing day!

Mike and Lindsey’s Maui elopement was a love story distilled down to its purest form, just the two of them, standing barefoot in the sand at Southside Beach, promising forever. No audience, no distractions. Just the sound of waves and the golden Maui sun as witnesses. It was simple, serene, and impossibly romantic, the kind of moment that reminds you what weddings are truly about! The love between two people meant for one another…
The photos capture it all: Lindsey glowing in lace, Mike’s soft smile, and the quiet reverence in their eyes as they exchanged vows without anyone else around. There was something deeply powerful in the simplicity, the two of them, side by side, choosing each other again and again. It was as if the whole island leaned in to listen.

After the ceremony, the celebration continued at the Four Seasons, where newlywed portraits added a touch of elegance to their day. The tropical greenery, golden light, and ocean views framed their joy perfectly. From tender embraces on the balcony to playful kisses on the beach, every image tells the story of a couple who not only love each other but also know how to live fully, laugh often, and savor every chapter together.

Congratulations, Mike and Lindsey! Your Maui elopement wasn’t just beautiful, it was profoundly meaningful. A reminder that sometimes, all you need for a wedding is two hearts, one promise, and the ocean.
