But first, here is a little history of their love story. During his final semester of law school, Ethan survived a devastating car accident that left him hospitalized for 69 days. For weeks, Erika fed him by hand, sat by his side, and reminded him what hope felt like. He was determined to walk again, and more importantly, to kneel! When he finally did, it was in front of Erika, during what she thought was a Christmas photo session. With her grandmother’s ring in his hand, he asked her to marry him. And she, through tears and laughter, told him to stand up before he hurt his knee again! Their day was proof of something simple and true: love doesn’t just survive hard things. It shines brighter because of them.

Jeff and Jade’s Maui vow renewal was like something out of a movie, if that movie involved a dreamy beach, a flower circle bursting with color, and two sweet boys in matching suits.

They originally got engaged atop a snowy mountain in Park City (cue cozy scarves and misty breath), but twenty years later? They traded in the snow for golden sunshine and waves crashing at their feet. And honestly, we support the upgrade.

Polo Beach held a special kind of magic for these two; it’s where they wandered hand in hand when Jade was pregnant with Jonas, and where they returned two years ago while staying at the Grand Wailea. So when they decided to renew their vows, there was really no other place that felt quite as them.

Their sons, Jonas (12) and Jack (6), brought their own kind of magic to the day, full of curiosity, barefoot confidence, and just the right amount of mischief. Dressed in cream suits, they looked like mini groomsmen straight out of a Ralph Lauren ad.

Some love stories take a few unexpected detours before landing in just the right place. For Kassidy & Ryan, that place was their beautiful, sun-soaked Maui venue wedding at Gather Maui, simple, beautiful, and full of heart.

A couple of years ago, Ryan had originally planned to propose after a snowboarding trip in the mountains. The plan? Hit the slopes, have an epic day. Little did she know what was around the corner! A week later, on Valentine’s Day, Ryan asked her to marry him. Totally worth the wait.

Fast forward to Maui, where their wedding day unfolded exactly how they dreamed: carefree, flexible, and full of joy. Surrounded by family, including their three daughters (ages 13, 6, and 1), and even their dog S’mores in spirit, Kassidy and Ryan said “I do” beneath swaying palms and clear blue skies. It was a gorgeous day, as you’ll see below!

The setting at Gather Maui was stunning, the ocean in the distance, a floral arch framing every photo, and their closest loved ones sharing in every sweet, happy moment. It was simple and intimate, but deeply meaningful, the kind of day when you could just feel the love radiating in every direction.

A Maui venue wedding was the perfect setting for Reese and Logan. They are high school sweethearts, born-and-raised Alaskans, and quite possibly the most down-to-earth (but also photogenic!) couple we’ve ever met. Instead of a single day of celebration, these two opted for a wedding week in paradise with their closest loved ones. Because honestly, why limit the joy?

Logan is about to start medical school in July 2025, but first, he’s getting hands-on experience working at a hospital. Reese, meanwhile, is still in college and dreaming big; she’s two years away from a marketing degree and has her heart set on opening a coffee shop someday. With big dreams, they will forever be by one another’s side…

Their ceremony at Gather Maui was full of love and sweet, quiet emotion. Reese walked in looking absolutely stunning, and Logan? That huge, heartfelt smile when he saw her said it all. With the ocean breeze and their favorite people all around, they exchanged vows and officially started their forever.

And then… the beach. The lighting. The most golden newlywed portraits you’ve ever seen. They soaked it all in, laughing, holding hands, and making memories that felt as warm as the Hawaiian sunset.

The light was golden and soft, the sky blushing just the right amount. Maui knows romance, and these enchanting portraits say it all. Their portraits felt effortless, dreamy, and so them. You could see the joy in their face, just married, just glowing, just completely wrapped up in the moment. It was their moment…their moment to pause and simply be husband and wife for the very first time…

Chris and Kaylee’s Maui venue wedding was a rom-com in the making, with extra sunshine, a dash of island breeze, and one very happy couple starring as themselves. Let’s start at the beginning: picture a nursing student and a future math teacher crossing paths in their college tutoring center. (Tell us that isn’t the beginning of a love story written in meet-cute heaven.) And spoiler alert: it only gets better from there.

Fast forward a little, Kaylee is now a newly minted RN ready to conquer the telemetry department, and Chris is juggling teaching dreams with Home Depot shifts. Their idea of a perfect date? Casual walks, little everyday adventures, and curling up with movies. Honestly, relationship goals.

One day, they saw a TikTok asking couples their dream vacation spot. Both immediately answered: Hawaii. And just like that, the seed was planted. Why not turn their wedding into a tropical dream, too? Cue their decision to skip the typical wedding stress and say “aloha” to a Maui destination wedding! Chris’s look when he sees Kaylee for the first time says it all!

A Dream Come True

Neither Chris nor Kaylee had been to Hawaii before; Chris hadn’t even left his home state! But when the big day arrived, they were all in: glowing, beaming, and ready to start forever under the island sun. Their wedding was simple, stunning, and full of genuine joy. They said “I do,” surrounded by tropical blooms and warm ocean air, with just enough breeze to make Kaylee’s veil flutter.

Every smile, every glance, every soft sunset hue told the story of two people who made the leap together. From tutoring center coworkers to island newlyweds, this Maui wedding was exactly the kind of magic they’d dreamed up together.

After their Maui venue wedding ceremony, we snuck away to the beach for their newlywed portraits, and let us just say: sunset on the Maui coastline knows how to do its thing. The sky lit up with soft pastels and golden rays, the waves hummed in the background, and these two just radiated joy. It was so beautiful that it felt cinematic but also totally real.

Chris and Kaylee’s wedding was sweet, simple, and full of meaning—exactly what they wanted. From happy tears at the altar to laughter by the waves, their day was a perfect reflection of their love: warm, genuine, and beautiful.
