We are excited to share the beautiful love story and Maui venue wedding of Brittany and Justyn! It was an extraordinary day and they had all their friends and family gathered. Justin said he has always felt a deep connection to the islands so Maui felt just like the place to say “I, do!” And what’s even more special is that Brittany has never been! Their destination wedding felt like a dream come true for them both. We were delighted to bring their vision to life so keep reading to see more!
Their Maui venue wedding photography coverage began with the lovely bride getting ready. Her sister is a professional hair and makeup artist so she did her bridal look making it an even sweeter moment! How beautiful does she look in her frothy gown?
Our lovebirds choose the charming Olowalu Plantation House for their Maui venue wedding. This venue is truly special, it has an authentic, old Hawaiian charm nestled right on the water. It’s truly a special venue! Their ceremony was held right under the big tree with the turquoise water in the distance. It was just the lush, tropical, and private setting these two envisioned!
Their sealed their vows with a kiss in the shade of the palm trees and with their bridal party. We love the olive green and beach tones they chose! It perfectly reflects the lush tropical colors of their Maui venue wedding. What’s more is that they sliced their wedding cake right on the patio surrounded by their cherished guests before taking a stroll as husband and wife on the property!
We are here for these soft and pastel colors from their newlywed portraits! The soft blush and golden hues enhance their bliss that radiates around them. You could feel the love and warmth encircling them with aloha. We are so happy for them both!
Congratulations Brittany and Justyn on your big day! We are beyond happy for you! It was a joy to bring your dream wedding to life! All of us at Simple Maui Wedding send you lots of love!

“Maui is a place we have visited together, a place we think is absolutely magical and are always scheming about when we can visit. What better occasion than our wedding,” our lovely couple gushed to our wedding planners before their big day. The dream of a Maui venue wedding became a reality for Eric and Emily! It was a wonderful day, the best day ever if you asked these two love birds! Everything down to the very details was spectacular, as you’ll see in these highlights below!
First things first, our wedding photography coverage began with Emily getting ready. Love, nerves, excitement… all the natural feelings were there as she donned her stunning lace gown! And what an entrance she made…
Their tropical ceremony was everything you could dream of, from the ocean waves just nearby to the privacy of this gem of a venue. Olowalu Plantation House is an exceptional oceanfront location for a Maui venue wedding and has all the charm and a historic feel. The elegant bamboo altar with blush-colored blooms of ginger, anthuriums, and protea was a signature feature of their inimate ceremony…so lovely!
But before we get into all the pretty details, here is a little back story on how these two met! So, Eric and Emily met in 2013 when they were students at the University of Michigan. They were in the same club and quickly became friends! After graduation, Emily went off to PA school in North Carolina, and Eric stayed in Michigan to attend medical school at the University of Michigan. One football Saturday when Emily was visiting Michigan, she ran into Eric, and their love story began!
All their friends and family were so happy to be there to celebrate these two! They were surrounded by so much love and joy throughout their big day. Emily wanted “something different” for their wedding and thought a Maui venue wedding would also give their friends and family a chance for a Hawaiian vacation too!
It wasn’t long before the fun started with their bridal party! These will be forever standout moments from their Maui venue wedding. We love this property because it has so many secluded spots for moments like this! From the tropical foliage, oceanfront lawn, and rock jetty, there are SO many gorgeous spots for both candid and traditional portraits alike! After all, newlyweds need a little privacy after their “I dos!” 😉
These dreamy portraits of the new Mr. and Mrs. Colomb are simply breathtaking! It was so endearing to see how playful and sweet they were together. They laughed, smiled ear to ear, and savored each priceless moment of the first moments of newlywed life. You can tell they are the best of friends!
The cloudy sky in the background accentuated Eric’s pink tie and blue suit, which perfectly matched Emily’s pastel bouquet, don’t you think? Tropical wedding style perfection!
All of us at Simple Maui Wedding wish Eric and Emily many more years of happiness, love, and peace! Congratulations! Enjoy your time on the island with your families and friends!

We’re thrilled to share the happy news of Kimberly and Bill’s Maui venue wedding! They wanted to get married in a special location they had never been to before, and Maui seemed like the perfect romantic destination for them.
As true romantics, they did a lot of research before deciding on Maui as their wedding location. They loved Maui’s variety of scenic backgrounds, from beaches to waterfalls to beautiful grassy areas perfect for capturing memories! Kimberly and Bill have a beautiful love story that spans several years and states. After reconnecting in 2018, they spent many evenings talking on the phone and visiting each other. The pandemic allowed them to be together in one spot finally, and in May 2021, Kimberly officially moved to Houston to be with Bill. They got engaged just a few short months later, in August, and now they are officially “Just Maui’d!” Keep reading to see more of their charming celebration…
For their special day, they chose the charming and tropical Olowalu Plantation, an old sugar plantation house right on the oceanfront. It is a beautiful and historic property that is a true island gem! The lovely setting and charm added sweetness to their Maui venue wedding.
Our gorgeous bride, Kimberly, looked absolutely exquisite in her embroidered gown with her custom bouquet! Her flowers are simply gorgeous and so fresh! Bill looked equally as dapper and handsome. Everyone was so happy to share this moment with them!
After their “I, do’s,” we whisked our lovebirds away to capture their newlywed portraits! One reason why we love this venue for its ample photo locations and variety of scenery for portraits. From the jetty to the grass lawn overlooking the ocean, there are endless opportunities! Our happy couple wanted to make sure to take advantage of them all! And, if we do say ourselves, these photos are utterly romantic!
Congratulations to Kimberly and Bill! It warms our hearts to see how your love story has evolved, and this moment finally arrived for you both! Best of luck in the years ahead…

Our lovely couple, Brittney and Dexter’s tropical Maui venue wedding was a day to cherish! It was our pleasure to capture their amazing day! We were so excited to see the tropical details throughout their venue wedding when we arrived! From Brittney’s vibrant bouquet to the pineapple-lined rows, it felt authentically Hawaiian. Keep reading to see more of their special day!
Before the ceremony began, we were excited to catch a few glimpses of our glowing bride – doesn’t she look divine?! As we photographed her getting ready, we could feel the jitters and joy mixed into one, as you can imagine! We were awestruck when she showed us her breathtaking bouquet of dahlias, orchids, ginger, and other tropical blooms. Brittney adores flowers, so she wanted a unique bouquet that comprised some of her favorites!
Her darling flower girl and ring bearer were the sweetest! They were so excited to participate in Brittney’s big day! These precious moments before their ceremony genuinely capture our gorgeous bride’s excitement and sheer happiness, don’t you think?
When Brittney’s father walked her down the aisle, their family and friends were a little teary-eyed, as you can imagine! It was such an endearing moment to witness. These smaller ceremonies are so moving, as you’ll see below! Her doting father gave her one last kiss on the cheek before presenting her to her handsome groom that awaited. Naturally, Brittney and Dexter wanted an intimate affair, surrounded by their closest friends and family. Before the vows began, our charming couple couldn’t hold back a few giggles!
The location for their splendid Maui venue wedding was Olowalu Plantation, a plantation-style house right on the water. It’s a real gem! This is one of our top locations for a Maui venue wedding simply because of the privacy and beachfront. The grounds offer so much variety in places to capture first looks and wedding portraits. Coconut and palm trees dot the property giving plenty of privacy and a tropical ambiance. Maui at its best!
The moment we were waiting for – our newlyweds announced as husband and wife! As you can see, their family cheered and clapped with joy for these two! Not only were they showered with confetti, but their nearest and dearest also blew them kisses as they walked hand in hand down the aisle. They look like they are on cloud nine, as you will see below!
After their fun and festive family portraits, our charming pair snuck off together so we could photograph a few private moments together as newlyweds. They couldn’t stop smiling and looked adoringly at each other throughout the day! So now our delightful couple can officially say they were “Just Maui’d”!
Our lovely couple went off on their way for their wedding portraits as we continued to photograph their Maui venue wedding. Brittney and Dexter love the ocean and all things tropical, so naturally, they wanted to walk down to the shoreline to soak in the scenery and newlywed bliss!
Brittney walked carefully down the rocky bar, lovingly guided by her new husband, Dexter. As you can see, it was well worth the walk simply because of this view! This panoramic view of the West Maui Mountains is one of the reasons why we adore Olowalu Plantation. As you can see, it showcased the cinematic scenery of the island and enhanced the tropical ambiance of their Maui venue wedding!
After the noise and fun of the ceremony, our charming couple cherished these private moments together. Brittney was glowing in Dexter’s arms! Her detailed floral gown perfectly mirrored her bouquet blooms. Her veil danced in the breeze as we captured their first married moments!
We want to send a warm mahalo to our lovely couple, Brittney and Dexter, for choosing Simple Maui Wedding! With lots of love and aloha, we wish you the very best for your new journey together! Until we meet again in paradise…

We are so excited to share these highlights from Amber & Andrew’s Olowalu Plantation House Wedding! This beautiful couple traveled to Maui with their two adorable kids and a group of supportive, photogenic guests. There were gentle trade winds, a glowing sunset, and lots of joy as Amber & Andrew became husband and wife.
Check out some of our favorite moments from their Hawaii wedding day!
Amber & Andrew chose one of our favorite wedding venues for their ceremony. Their Olowalu Plantation House wedding was understated yet elegant. If you’re a fan of minimalist events with lots of personality, you’ll be obsessing over their wedding, just like us!
Amber’s chic gown is giving Carolyn Bessette but is still super modern, and Andrew looked relaxed and confident in his Destination Wedding groom attire.
Their floral design included tropical orchids and bright greenery. It was just enough to add extra style without detracting from the venue’s natural setting.
As much as we love their venue, style, and decor, our favorite thing about this Olowalu Plantation House Wedding is the couple! Amber & Andrew were so kind to work with throughout the wedding planning process. We’re happy we could be a part of their special day!
Amber & Andrew met over a decade ago. Amber was working at the gym, and they became friends after meeting there. Their friendship grew into a romance, which grew into something better than they could have dreamed.
Today they’re business partners and parents together. And though their work and family demand a lot from them, they still prioritize their relationship. These two are super romantic and playful, and their Olowalu Plantation House Wedding reflected that.
After getting engaged in 2020, Amber & Andrew knew they wanted an intimate wedding, and Maui Hawaii is their favorite place in the world. They were having the best time sharing their island vacation with their friends family and coworkers, all of whom were in great spirits as they enjoyed their time on Olowalu’s scenic lawn.
The palm trees swayed, the waves rolled gently to shore, and the setting sun cast a gorgeous glow onto the Olowalu Plantation House Wedding.
Keep scrolling to see even more of their wedding photography — it’s stunning!
Congratulations, Amber & Andrew! We loved meeting your family and wish you all the best for a wonderful future. Mahalo for choosing us as your wedding planner!

Everything about Whitney and Anthony’s Maui venue wedding was breathtaking! The Olowalu Plantation House created the perfect backdrop for this ceremony. Then the weather was impeccable! We adore the magical ambiance and romantic mood of this sunset event. However, our favorite thing is seeing how Whitney and Anthony are glowing radiantly! You can tell our passionate pair is relishing every second of this intimate occasion. Continue scrolling to see them tie the knot!
The Olowalu Plantation House created the perfect scene for this sunset event. One of our favorite things about this venue is the stunning landscapes surrounding it! You can see the dramatic mountains and the sweeping ocean views in every shot captured by Karma Hill Photography. In addition, we love the summer weather! The soft blue sky was visible because there were no clouds. Not to mention, the afternoon sun was shining brightly on the lush lawn. We like how this brilliance naturally enhanced the lighting in every portrait!
Whitney and Anthony decided to tie the knot in Maui because she adores the island! Our bride visited a few times with her relatives and immediately fell in love with Hawaii. However, Anthony has only been to Kauai! Whitney says if she and Anthony could move here and bring their families — they would! Our charming couple wanted their wedding to be simple, elegant, and relaxed. Thankfully, their sunset occasion was everything they desired and more!
Whitney and Anthony met through his sister, Rafaela, who also happened to be Whitney’s best friend in high school. On April 6, 2021, Anthony popped the question to Whitney! Our delightful duo walked down the beach when Anthony got down on one knee. Unknown to Whitney, Anthony had the ring for months and kept it a surprise from her and their families! Currently, Anthony is a landscaper. Then Whitney is an Elementary School Special Education Teacher. Most importantly, this adventurous pair is celebrating ten years of being together!
Congratulations, Whitney and Anthony! It was a pleasure to be part of this unforgettable event. We wish you a future full of camping trips and Disneyland adventures!

Michelle and Russell’s Maui venue wedding was at Olowalu Plantation House! We like this serene beachfront property because it has West Maui Mountain views and overlooks the Pacific Ocean. Then, their ceremony was romantic, elegant, and dreamy! This event was the perfect reflection of our blissful couple. Michelle and Russell were in their own world and emitted a radiant newlywed glow throughout their ceremony! Continue scrolling to experience this sunset occasion for yourself.
This wedding was an intimate, family affair! Michelle and Russell had forty-one guests in attendance, and this stunning duo included their loved ones in their ceremony. Russell’s three sons were his groomsmen! Then Russell’s aunt, uncle, dad, and step-mom walked down the aisle. Lastly, when it was time for Michelle to make her grand entrance, her three-year-old daughter was by her side! It was heartwarming to see the people most important to Michelle and Russell have a significant part in their special day!
Tenessa from Karma Hill Photography had an equally important role in Michelle and Russell’s event — capturing the meaningful moments. Thankfully, she effortlessly photographed every detail of this beautiful day! You can see our charming couple’s joyous expressions and blissful smiles in every shot. In addition, she got some great photos of this passionate pair with their loved ones. Above all, our favorite portraits are taken after Reverend Kuya pronounces Michelle and Russell as husband and wife. You can see their delight and newlywed glows in every photo!
Michelle’s gown from Blue Sky Bridal is beautiful and sleek! The soft white lace dress pairs exquisitely with her flower lei and pastel Rustic Hawaiian bouquet from Dellables. Then Russell’s attire is sharp and elegant! His khaki vest complements the delicate hues in Michelle’s outfit perfectly!
Congratulations, Michelle and Russell! Thank you for sharing this special day with us. We wish you a future full of love, abundance, and happiness!

The day you get married should feel like a fairytale, and everything about Berlin and Jacob’s special day was magical. Held at an exquisite location with the delicate sunset above them — this Hawaii venue wedding was flawless! Continue scrolling to experience this gorgeous event for yourself.
This bamboo arch has beautiful decorations! You can see how the light fabric elegantly complements the pastel flowers. We like how the shades of salmon, pink, and white balance with the deep green foliage in this arrangement!
The simplicity of this ceremony makes it so stunning! Jacob stood at the front when the entrances began, and he looked handsome in his sophisticated suit. After the wedding party, Berlin made her grand entrance. She made a breathtaking bride! Her ivory gown is regal, and her styling by MeiLi Autumn Beauty is classic. Reverend Joe Miles was the officiant and performed a great sermon! Then Karma Hill Photography captured every little moment during this occasion — making every portrait more heartwarming!
Scenic, intimate, and captivating are a few words we’d use to describe Berlin and Jacob’s special day. They couldn’t have chosen a better location for their event! Olowalu Plantation House created a breathtaking backdrop for this venue wedding in Hawaii. Lofty palm trees, lush grass, and sweeping ocean views make this ceremony feel so dreamy! You can see how perfect the weather was. Since there was medium cloud coverage, you could see the blue sky and bright sun!
Our lovely couple has a radiant newlywed glow! You can tell they’re savoring these first minutes as husband and wife in Maui!
Congratulations, Berlin and Jacob! Thank you so much for letting us be part of your intimate wedding day. We wish you a future full of love and happiness!
