Tom, a construction estimator and branch manager, and Rose, a scheduler for Kaiser Permanente, met the way great stories often begin, through friends, at a country concert in 2019. Sparks flew somewhere between the music and the laughter, and a friendship turned into something much deeper. Four and a half years later, surrounded by their daughters on a trip to Oahu, Tom proposed the start of a new chapter built on love, family, and shared adventures.When their wedding day finally came, we couldn’t have been happier to help bring it all together and capture the magic!

Their wedding at Gather reflected exactly who they are: relaxed, simple, and fun. Maui has always been their favorite island, and the venue’s ocean views, golden light, and gentle breeze made it feel like a dream. Friends and family watched on as they exchanged their vows. Their story began on Tinder almost seven years ago, and in a full-circle twist of fate, their wedding day coincided with their dating anniversary, which also happened to be International Peace Day. (Yes, the universe has an excellent sense of timing.) After getting engaged on a Maui beach in April 2023, it only made sense to return to this island of magic to say their vows!

Haley, with her adventurous spirit and radiant smile, looked breathtaking against the dramatic cliffs and rolling waves. She’s the kind of person who fills her days with creativity and kindness, whether she’s running her pet-sitting business in Kansas City, chatting with strangers in a coffee shop, or sketching out her children’s book ideas. Cooper. thoughtful, steady, and just a little bit of a numbers nerd, balanced her energy beautifully. You know that trope in romantic comedies where two people with wildly different hobbies fall madly in love and somehow make it all work? That’s Taylor and Andrew. She rides majestic dressage horses with the kind of poise that would make even a Disney princess feel underdressed. He rolls around (gracefully, we assume) in Jiu-Jitsu classes. Together? Let’s rewind just a bit. Taylor and Andrew met through mutual friends (thank you, universe)! And eventually found themselves engaged on a literal cliff in the Arkansas Ozark Mountains. Yes, a cliff. Taylor walked toward Andrew with that once-in-a-lifetime kind of glow, and he looked at her like he already knew he’d just made the best decision of his life. The intimacy of the moment, the gentle hush of the ocean in the background, and the fragrance of plumeria in the air, it all felt like Maui itself was giving them its blessing.
