They’ve been together for over six years, their story began in Ireland, where they met and fell in love almost instantly. Advan, an aesthetic specialist dentist born in Ireland to a Sri-Lankan family, and Ilaria, originally from Italy and now living in Ireland for nearly a decade, share busy professional lives, but also a deep love for nature, long walks, hiking, and travel. When they aren’t working, they’re dreaming of the next adventure (and quietly planning for the family they hope to grow soon).

Their original dream was a Hawaiian honeymoon. But after a family member described Maui as a once-in-a-lifetime paradise, one thought changed everything: why only honeymoon here when we can get married here too? Advan had proposed a year earlier, right after they purchased their first home together. It was a milestone that made everything feel real and grounded. A large wedding never felt like the right fit, but an elopement in Maui? That felt perfect!
