Maui Means Everything – Connor & Devon’s Maui Venue Wedding

Connor and Devon’s Maui venue wedding felt like the kind of love story that’s been quietly unfolding for years. They’ve been building a life together in Northern California, sharing adventures, passions, and a home with their three beloved parrots: Calliope, Winnie, and Lolli, who are, by all accounts, their feathered children. From wakesurfing under summer skies to traveling side by side, these two truly do life together.

They met seven years ago while working at a gymnastics center, becoming friends first, which somehow makes everything that followed feel even more meaningful. Friendship turned into something deeper during the summer of 2019, spent out on the lake in the California sun, and from there, their story kept unfolding with intention. Devon, a ballet teacher with a lifelong devotion to the arts, moves through the world with grace and passion. Connor, who works at a BMW motorcycle dealership, has always been drawn to the outdoors and anything with two wheels, motorcycles, mountain bikes, freedom in motion. Different rhythms, perfectly in sync. Their day was just as special as their love story, as you’ll see below!

Simple Yet Elegant

Maui has long held a special place in Connor’s heart, and over time, it became just as meaningful to Devon. After traveling the island together and falling more in love with it each visit, it only made sense that their engagement happened here, on Kaanapali Beach. So when it came time to say “I do,” Maui felt inevitable!

Their wedding at Gather Maui was intimate, thoughtful, and full of heart. Surrounded by the island they adore and the love they’ve built so intentionally, Connor and Devon exchanged vows under a beautiful arch. It was a day that honored their journey and the quiet magic of choosing each other, again and again, in one of their favorite places on Earth. And had that look like “this is really happening!” Maui now adds another beautiful page to their love story.

Taking It All In

Their newlywed portraits felt like a deep exhale after the celebration: quiet, romantic, and full of that just-married glow. With the Maui coastline stretching endlessly behind them, Connor and Devon slipped effortlessly into the moment, the kind that doesn’t need direction because it’s already there. These two were just fully soaking in this private moment on the shoreline.

Devon moved with the same grace she’s carried her entire life, her dress catching the ocean breeze and Connor, steady and calm beside her, looked at her with that unmistakable expression that says this is it, this is home. Together, they felt grounded and electric all at once, two people who have spent years building a life side by side.
