If you could bottle the exact feeling of meeting your person in the middle of a music festival, add a warm Maui breeze, a little salt in the air, and a lot of heart eyes, you’d get something very close to Jen and Sarah’s Maui Wedding at Ironwoods Beach.
These two first crossed paths thanks to their friend Serena, somewhere between live music, dancing crowds, and that electric kind of energy that only happens when life decides to be cinematic. Fast forward to their wedding day, and that same spark was everywhere. The ocean stretched out behind them like a watercolor painting, their bright tropical bouquet practically glowing against the soft tones of their outfits. Every glance between them had that unmistakable “I still can’t believe I get to marry you” look. It felt romantic, a little playful, and completely, unapologetically them.

And then there were the sneakers. Matching Converse, peeking out beneath their wedding outfits like the world’s cutest secret, equal parts practical and rebellious. It was the kind of detail that made you want to grin behind the camera, because of course, the couple who met at a music festival would get married in shoes made for dancing. They wandered across the sand, climbed the rocks, laughed into each other’s shoulders, and looked at one another like the rest of the world had politely stepped aside. As the sunset turned the sky into soft shades of peach and gold, their Maui Wedding wrapped itself up in the kind of glow that feels less like a photo and more like a memory you never want to forget.

Mahalo Jen & Sarah for choosing Simple Maui Wedding to coordinate your Maui Wedding. We are honored and so excited for your journey together!

Chris and Ann’s Maui elopement felt like the kind of love story that whispers instead of shout, soft, intentional, and impossibly meaningful. It was their very first time in Hawaii, a place they’d always dreamed of, and Ironwoods Beach welcomed them with dramatic cliffs, ocean air, and the kind of peaceful beauty that makes everything else fall quiet. Floral, private, romantic, and deeply elegant, their day unfolded exactly as it was meant to.
They met years ago while working together at the Minnesota Department of Health, both rooted in careers devoted to caring for others. Ann, an assistant professor in an MBA and DNP program and a nurse for 25 years, carries a steady strength and warmth that instantly draws people in. Chris, who has spent over 15 years in healthcare, balances her beautifully with his calm presence and thoughtful nature. Together, they share a life filled with curiosity from traveling, trying new things, binging beloved TV shows (Outlander fans forever), and doting on their three spoiled Persian kitties. It was a beautiful day that reflected their love story. Keep reading to see more!

Chris proposed in the sunken flower garden at Como Conservatory, surrounded by lush tropical bloom, an early hint that nature would always play a role in their story. So when they chose Maui for their elopement, it felt like a full-circle moment. Standing together at Ironwoods, they exchanged vows in a setting that felt both powerful and intimate.
Ann’s daughter, Abbigail, who is finishing her master’s degree, was never far from their hearts. A reminder of the life and love that led them here. Their elopement wasn’t about spectacle; it was about connection. About choosing something simple, peaceful, and uniquely theirs. No fluff, no grand decor, just the elegant essentials to the already stunning ceremony site at Ironwoods.
Ann looked radiant in her haku crown and flowing dress that matched the natural beauty and tranquility of Maui. And her now husband Chris? He looked as dapper as ever in his three-peice suit! They both embodied tropical radiance and elegance perfectly.

Their Maui elopement was lovely in the truest sense of the word: calm, romantic, and filled with joy. Chris and Ann soaked in every moment, and it was clear this was just the beginning of a beautiful new chapter, written together, somewhere between the ocean and forever.

Their portraits were effortlessly romantic and full of quiet emotion, the kind that doesn’t need direction to feel meaningful. Set against the dramatic cliffs and endless ocean at Ironwoods Beach, Chris and Ann moved through their newlywed moments with ease: soft smiles, gentle touches, and the calm confidence of two people who know they’ve found their person. The wind played lightly with Ann’s dress, the light wrapped around them just right, and every frame felt unhurried and intimate. These portraits captured more than a beautiful setting; they told the story of a love that is steady, intentional, and deeply at peace, exactly the way their elopement felt.

Congratulations, Chris and Ann!
Wishing you a lifetime of love, adventure, cozy nights binging your favorite shows, and many more beautiful chapters ahead. Cheers to forever and this unforgettable beginning in Hawaii!

Ready for a dreamy, romantic Maui elopement? Sometimes love sneaks into your life exactly when you least expect it. For John and Jenifer, that moment came in 2020 during the lockdowns. Love stories that begin later in life often carry a special kind of clarity, the kind that knows exactly what matters and isn’t afraid to choose it. Laine and Brandon’s Maui elopement at Ironwoods Beach was a beautiful reflection of that clarity: intentional, low-stress, and centered on love, family, and shared purpose.
Although Laine had visited the Big Island before, Maui was new for her, and Hawaii was entirely new for everyone else. From the start, they knew they didn’t want a traditional wedding filled with guest lists and complicated family dynamics. Instead, they wanted something simple and meaningful. When their three daughters began asking for a Hawaii vacation, inspiration struck: why not elope and turn the experience into a once-in-a-lifetime family trip? Rather than spending money on an extravagant ceremony, they chose to invest in memories together. It was a beautiful ceremony with their daughters and reflected everything they hold dear. Keep reading to see more of their special day!

Their story is full of serendipity. Despite living just two blocks apart, Laine and Brandon met on Match.com. Their first date took place on New Year’s Day 2023, and it didn’t take long for things to feel right. After a successful weeklong trip, they introduced their kids the following August and soon began envisioning a future side by side. In January 2025, during a Dallas staycation, Brandon surprised Laine with a proposal at the Arboretum, complete with a secret photographer waiting to capture the moment.
Ironwoods Beach provided a breathtaking backdrop for their elopement, with sweeping cliffs, open ocean, and a sense of calm that made everything feel grounded. Laine, a healthcare professor and physician assistant, and Brandon, a CEO, are both active, growth-minded, and deeply devoted to their children. It was so special to them to have their kids by their side too, during the ceremony! Each daughter was blessed with a lei, it was so sweet! Their Maui elopement was about choosing intentionally, with love and confidence.

After the ceremony, their newlywed portraits became one of the most meaningful parts of the day, not just capturing Laine and Brandon as husband and wife, but celebrating the family they’ve already built together. Their three girls joined them, laughing, hugging close, and soaking in the moment with the ocean and cliffs behind them. The portraits felt warm and natural, filled with joy and connection, reflecting the heart of why they chose to elope in the first place. These images weren’t just about a wedding day, they were about a family stepping into a new chapter together, side by side.

Congratulations, Laine and Brandon! Your Maui elopement was thoughtful, heartfelt, and beautifully you. We hope you have the best time on Maui with your girls!

Some love stories are like ocean tides; they take their time, pull you in gently, and before you know it, you’re exactly where you’re meant to be. Some love stories arrive slowly and that’s exactly how things unfolded for Karyna and Grigory. They met this spring at a concert in Vancouver, two people from opposite ends of the world, she from Kyiv, he from Novosibirsk, drawn together by timing, music, and something that felt instantly, quietly right. What followed was natural and fast and full of joy that you know this is your person. A Maui elopement was destined for them!
Life has carried them on winding paths. Karyna was a doctor in Ukraine before the war uprooted her life; now she works in aesthetic medicine in Vancouver. Grigory, a manager at Google in Seattle, has lived in the U.S. since 2012. He has two wonderful kids whom Karyna connects with beautifully, a detail she mentions with warmth that says everything. And then, one emotional evening by the ocean in Seattle, he proposed. The waves, the wind, the moment, it all felt a little like fate. And now we are happy to share a few moments from their big day! It truly was a dream come true for both of them!

Their Maui elopement was every shade of magical! Karyna stepped onto the beach in a full princess-style gown, layers of fabric catching the breeze like something straight from a fairytale. And Grigory looked effortlessly handsome in a blue linen suit. The ceremony was heartfelt and intimate, kissed by sunlight and framed by the rugged coastline that makes Ironwoods so breathtaking. When they said their vows, it felt like the entire island paused to listen.

Their newlywed portraits afterward on the dramatic cliffs were the perfect mix of elegance and playfulness, soft, romantic embraces, and then silly poses that had them laughing like teenagers. And when Karyna changed into her second dress? The whole vibe shifted into carefree, beachy celebration.
They were radiant. Happy. Completely in love! It was the perfect finish to their Maui elopement!

Congratulations, Karyna & Grigory! Your story is extraordinary, and this day was just the beginning! We were honored to coordinate and capture your dream wedding day! We hope you enjoy your time on Maui!

Some love stories sparkle with serendipity, and Frank and Elena’s Maui elopement was one of those stories that felt written in stardust. Born on the same day as Frank’s parents, and with Hawaii already woven into their family history (it was his parents’ honeymoon destination!), it only made sense that their own “I do” would happen surrounded by golden light, ocean waves, and the spirit of aloha.
But before their Ironwoods Beach ceremony came a proposal story that deserves its own rom-com. Picture this: a cozy Italian restaurant, a violinist playing the Jurassic Park theme (yes, really), and Frank trying not to laugh as he delivered his heartfelt proposal speech. To top it off, the host accidentally took his jacket, the one with the ring in it, so he had to pull off an elaborate, stealthy dance move to retrieve it without spoiling the surprise. Somehow, it all worked perfectly. Elena said yes, and the rest was pure magic! And now their amazing day has finally arrived!

Their Maui elopement mirrored everything that makes them them: fun, romantic, and delightfully genuine. Elena looked ethereal in her gown, her smile radiant against the dramatic cliffs of Ironwoods. Frank couldn’t stop grinning, clearly still amazed that the woman who shared his mother’s birthday also shared his heart. The soft wind, the waves, and the warm glow of sunset wrapped around them like a blessing.
Every moment felt intimate and personal, a love story years in the making, now written into the sands of Maui. It was everything hoped for and more!

After their ceremony, as the last rays of sunlight began to dip behind the cliffs, they shared their first moments with some cake as husband and wife, wrapped in the soft colors of the Maui sky. Their newlywed portraits captured everything that words can’t quite express: the joy, the quiet disbelief that this is real, and the kind of laughter that comes when two best friends realize forever just started.

Congratulations, Frank and Elena! Your Maui elopement was a dream, and your newlywed portraits capture not just how beautiful the day was, but how beautifully you love each other!

Some moments feel like they were lifted straight from a movie. And Brenton and Ashley’s Maui elopement was exactly that kind of magic. The day began softly, filled with laughter, the gentle hum of excitement, and the joyful clinking of glasses as Ashley and her friends got ready. She looked radiant slipping into her elegant gown, her smile wide and full of anticipation.
What followed was a simple yet profoundly beautiful celebration, one that focused on what truly mattered: their love, their promise, and the quiet joy of beginning forever together. Every detail felt intentional and full of heart.
Curious to see how their day unfolded? Keep scrolling! The beauty of their Maui elopement speaks for itself!

Then came the first look. When Brenton turned around and saw Ashley, time seemed to stop. You could see it on his face, that instant realization that this was the moment everything had led up to. His breath caught, his smile softened, and for a few heartbeats, it was just the two of them, standing in the golden Maui sun, completely in love… This was a private and sacred moment just for the two of them before the big moment. A reminder that it’s just the two of them and always will be…

Their ceremony at Ironwoods Beach was simple yet breathtaking, the kind of beauty that doesn’t need anything more than the sea, the sky, and two hearts promising forever. The sound of the waves and the sunlight wrapping around them made it feel sacred and timeless.
Our photography style is all about capturing these real, in-between moments, the laughter, the emotion, the glow that lives in a look. From their tearful vows to their joyful embrace after being pronounced husband and wife, every frame of Brenton and Ashley’s Maui elopement tells a story of love, sincerity, and island magic. Sometimes the simplest ceremonies are the most sacred and meaningful. No fluff, all love. And that’s exactly what their Maui elopement ceremony was all about…

As the sun dipped low, they walked hand in hand along the water, their joy spilling into the soft light of sunset. Every image radiated warmth, two souls perfectly at ease, surrounded by paradise.
They moved together easily, forehead to forehead, laughter spilling between kisses. The soft breeze played with Ashley’s veil, Brenton’s hands found hers instinctively, and every photograph captured the way they fit, naturally, completely, beautifully. Our Maui wedding photography style is all about that, preserving the raw emotion, the genuine connection, and the fleeting, golden moments that make time stand still.

Congratulations, Brenton and Ashley! Your Maui elopement was pure light, love, and island magic. We wish you a lifetime of love and happiness together!

Haley and Cooper’s Maui beach wedding at Ironwoods was the kind of day that feels like a perfectly written love story, complete with sweeping ocean views, a soft breeze, and two people who couldn’t stop looking at each other like they’d just fallen in love for the first time. Karen and John knew what they wanted in a wedding: a beach that felt wild, romantic, and timeless. After researching all the dreamy options, the idea of a Maui elopement checked every box. Enter Ironwoods Beach, a stretch of sand that looks like it was designed specifically for love stories.
Their own story started online. A year and a half later, John skipped the grand gestures. No fireworks, no violin quartet. One morning over coffee, he looked at Karen and asked, “So when are we getting married?” Casual. Honest. Perfect for them.
And while this was an elopement, it wasn’t about including family. It was about honoring them. The date they chose would have been Karen’s parents’ 65th wedding anniversary. On her hand, she wore John’s grandmother’s wedding ring, a piece of history first made in the 1800s, last exchanged in September of 1924. Nearly a century later, it gleamed again in the Hawaiian sunshine, a quiet witness to another love story….

Standing on Ironwoods Beach, waves crashing, light spilling golden across the sand, everything felt layered with meaning. The photos show it all: Karen in her gown, John’s easy smile, the way they leaned into each other like the world was theirs. The backdrop? Untamed cliffs, endless ocean, and a sense of forever.
This day wasn’t about extravagance. It was about love, simple, enduring, passed from one generation to the next. And Maui, with all its beauty, gave them the stage they deserved.
John wore a sharp tux and Karen shimmered in a glittery gown that caught the light with every step, like the ocean itself had woven it for her. Together, they looked radiant. Add the Maui sun, warm, golden, generous, and suddenly the entire scene felt timeless.

Photographing at Ironwoods is always stunning, but this day felt like it was on another level. The bright, airy light poured across the sand, softening every detail and giving their portraits that forever quality. The ocean was sparkling and the colors were so vivid and bright. Honestly, could there be any more picturesque location to elope? We think not!

Congratulations, Karen and John! Your Maui elopement wasn’t only beautiful, it was deeply meaningful. Your family was right there with you by your side. We wish you both all the love and joy in the years to come!

Haley and Cooper’s Maui beach wedding at Ironwoods was the kind of day that feels like a perfectly written love story, complete with sweeping ocean views, a soft breeze, and two people who couldn’t stop looking at each other like they’d just fallen in love for the first time.
Their story began on Tinder almost seven years ago, and in a full-circle twist of fate, their wedding day coincided with their dating anniversary, which also happened to be International Peace Day. (Yes, the universe has an excellent sense of timing.) After getting engaged on a Maui beach in April 2023, it only made sense to return to this island of magic to say their vows!

Haley, with her adventurous spirit and radiant smile, looked breathtaking against the dramatic cliffs and rolling waves. She’s the kind of person who fills her days with creativity and kindness, whether she’s running her pet-sitting business in Kansas City, chatting with strangers in a coffee shop, or sketching out her children’s book ideas. That glow she brings to everyday life absolutely poured into every moment of this wedding.
Cooper. thoughtful, steady, and just a little bit of a numbers nerd, balanced her energy beautifully. Between his love of golf, Marvel marathons, and stock market analysis, he brings both fun and focus to their relationship. On this day, though, it was all about joy. His smile when he looked at Haley said more than any vows ever could… It was a simple, elegant, and meaningful ceremony with a few of their loved ones celebrating (and maybe happily crying) by their side…

The photos captured it all: their playful moments barefoot on the sand, their quiet tenderness as they exchanged rings, the rainbow that appeared as if to bless their new beginning, and the embraces with their loved ones that made the day even more complete. Ironwoods, with its wild beauty, was the perfect stage for their promises, a reminder that love is both steady as the cliffs and unpredictable as the ocean waves. And if Maui acted right on cue, a rainbow appeared just for them! If that’s not the perfect Hawaiian send-off, we don’t know what is!

Haley and Cooper’s wedding wasn’t just beautiful. It was personal, meaningful, and unforgettable, exactly the way love stories should be! Congratulations!

If you’re wondering what happens when a Maui vow renewal brings together a lifelong dream, two daughters, and a love story that started in a bar called Embassy, well, this is it!
Lisa (dental assistant, dart aficionado, and all-around sunshine) and Wolfi (construction manager and billiards boss) have been together since 2006. Their origin story includes cocktails, club lights, and a proposal at a Bryan Adams concert to Everything I Do (I Do It For You). Honestly, could it be more cinematic?
They were married civilly in 2015, but Lisa always dreamed of a vow renewal in Hawaii. Not just anywhere in Hawaii, but Maui. They came all the way from Austria to make this dream come true…finally! And not just any ceremony, this one included their daughters, Sophia (11) and Mila (10), on the beach at Ironwoods, barefoot and beaming under the golden sun. It was the kind of day where time slows down, the breeze feels like a blessing, and the ocean applauds with every wave.
There was something beautifully carefree about the whole moment. No shoes. No stress. Just laughter, sea spray, and heartfelt promises whispered between two people who’ve already lived a thousand chapters together, and still choose each other every day. Their girls stood beside them, sweet witnesses to their parents’ enduring love, soaking up the joy of it all.

Maui did what it always does: it wrapped them in golden light, kissed their cheeks with ocean wind, and gave them a backdrop worthy of their story. This wasn’t just a Maui vow renewal. It was a full-circle moment. A “we made it” and a “let’s keep going” all rolled into one.

Ironwoods Beach set the stage, and Maui, as it tends to do, delivered a golden sunset so dreamy it felt like it was painted just for them. After their sweet ceremony in the sand, we wandered to the cliffs nearby, rugged, windswept, breathtaking. The kind of place where you can’t help but hold hands a little tighter. The girls joined them for family photos, and the joy radiated from all four of them. Pure sunshine.
The cliffs were nothing short of magical, jagged lava rock meeting the sea, waves crashing in celebration, and that golden light wrapping everything in a glow that made time stand still. It felt cinematic. Honest. Like a celebration not just of marriage, but of everything they’ve built together.
This wasn’t just a vow renewal. It was a promise kept, a dream fulfilled, and a memory made in one of the most beautiful places on earth.

Glückwunsch, Lisa and Wolfi, you brought the magic, and Maui gave it right back! Have a fantastic time with your girls! We know this was a dream come true, and it was an honor to make it happen! Let your sandy Maui barefoot adventures begin!

If you’re wondering what it looks like when love, laughter, and lava rocks collide in the dreamiest possible way, meet John and Charity. These two are the definition of soulmates-who-love-sand-between-their-toes. They said “I do” at their Maui elopement, and honestly? It was elegant, heartfelt, and beachy in the best kind of way.
John is an electrician (with a bear hug that could probably power a small town), and Charity works for the state of California (we’re talking organized, radiant, and with the smile of a woman who knows she just made the best decision of her life). Together, they brought their beautifully blended family to paradise for an unforgettable elopement. And the kind of energy you can only get from a crew that loves dirt bikes, camping, soccer, and adventure. Keep reading to see more of their wonderful day!

Their ceremony was intimate and joyful, with waves crashing in the background and the golden Maui light glowing around them like nature’s own spotlight. Charity looked stunning in her lace gown, barefoot in the sand and glowing with happiness. John, in crisp linen and a maile lei, couldn’t take his eyes off her.

From their barefoot portraits on the lava rocks (hello, romance novel cover vibes!) to their big family moment full of laughs, kisses, and shakas, this wasn’t just a wedding, it was a celebration of us. Of building a life that feels like home, even when it’s on a beach thousands of miles from it. It was relaxed, it was fun, it was family orientated, it was so them. And that’s all dreamt of! Cue the hugs and cheers!

To John and Charity: may your life together be as epic and joy-filled as your Maui elopement. Mahalo for letting us capture your magic! May you keep dancing, loving, learning, and growing together with peace and happiness in your hearts! Enjoy your time on Maui with your family!

There’s something wildly romantic about saying “I do” with the wind in your hair, waves crashing nearby, and your bare feet sinking into warm Hawaiian sand. And Allison and Scott? They absolutely nailed it.
Their Maui elopement at Ironwoods Beach was more than just a ceremony; it was a moment suspended in time, carved out of crashing waves, rugged lava rocks, and golden afternoon light. With only their closest loved ones present (plus the most joyful officiant on Earth), it felt private, meaningful, and profoundly intimate. Just the way it should be.

Let’s talk about Allison’s dress. Floaty, dreamy, and the perfect shade of ocean mist blue, yes, she looked like she stepped out of a beachside romance novel. And Scott? He met her elegance with classic charm, looking dapper and completely smitten. Their laughter, their vows, their forehead touches (we melted) every photo we captured speaks volumes about their bond. No caption needed.

This is why people elope to Maui: it strips away the fluff and leaves behind only what truly matters. Love. Connection. Breath-stealing beauty. No stress, no guest list drama, just a vow exchange that feels as wild and free as the ocean itself.
Their ceremony was full of emotion, but also full of joy. You can see it in the way their family beamed, the way the waves applauded every kiss, and how the sun peeked through just in time to light up their big moment.

We led Allison and Scott up onto Ironwoods’ lava rock cliffs just as the sun began to dip low. The sky exploded in soft pastels, casting the most cinematic glow across the ocean. There they were, silhouetted against the horizon, wrapped in each other’s arms, standing tall on ancient volcanic stone like the leads of an epic love story. It was iconic. It was breathtaking. And it was so them.

To Allison and Scott: may your days be as sweet as this one, and your love as enduring as the lava rock you stood on. Mahalo for letting us witness your beautiful beginning and your once-in-a-lifetime sunset moment!

Some love stories begin with fireworks. Others, like Tom and Crystal’s and their Maui beach wedding, unfold like a classic novel, quietly, steadily, and with the kind of soul-deep knowing that makes you believe in fate. Because when you meet at work forty years ago and still look at each other like you’re sharing a secret, you know it’s the real thing.
Tom, a financial advisor with an eye for details (and apparently, great suits), and Crystal, a business consultant who helps leadership teams thrive. And, after a decades-long journey together, full of laughter, partnership, and many, many trips to Mau, it felt only fitting to say “I do” in the place they’ve returned to for thirty years: the windswept cliffs of Ironwoods Beach.
It was the most beautiful day as you’ll see below!

The whole day radiated this kind of quiet, intentional elegance. Nothing fussy. Nothing overdone. Just timeless beauty in every direction. The breeze off the ocean, soft and salty. The sky, dreamy and expansive, like it was giving them a Hawaiian blessing. The kind of setting where you don’t need decorations because Maui is the decoration.
Crystal looked radiant, a vision of graceful beauty and elegant poise. Her dress was the kind that moved gently in the breeze and made everyone pause and say, “Wow.” Tom, ever the dapper gentleman, wore a pinstripe seersucker suit so sharp and handsome. Together, they looked like a couple straight out of a coastal romance novel, chic, composed, and utterly in love.
But here’s what made their wedding unforgettable: it wasn’t just a ceremony. It was a celebration of a life already deeply lived together. A moment of saying “yes” again, not just to each other, but to all the years that brought them to this point and all the years still ahead. The way they looked at one another, with this blend of comfort and spark, made everyone watching (including us!) feel like we were witnessing something sacred.

They stood barefoot on the sand, the waves just behind them and loved ones nearby, they said “I do.” And it couldn’t have been any more sacred or beautiful…

Their Maui beach wedding was romantic. It was beautiful. It was relaxed, tasteful, and so very them. And when the ceremony ended, the newlyweds lingered in the soft light of the evening, wrapped in each other’s arms, soaking in the moment, two hearts that had waited, worked, and chosen each other every day.
So here’s to Tom and Crystal, a love story built to last, and a wedding day that was nothing short of unforgettable.
