An Evening To Remember – Rose & Tom’s Maui Venue Wedding

Some weddings feel like a celebration of not just love, but of life. Tom and Rose’s Maui venue wedding at Gather was exactly that: relaxed, joyful, and full of warmth. The evening glowed, and it was clear that two people clearly found home in each other.

Tom, a construction estimator and branch manager, and Rose, a scheduler for Kaiser Permanente, met the way great stories often begin, through friends, at a country concert in 2019. Sparks flew somewhere between the music and the laughter, and a friendship turned into something much deeper. Four and a half years later, surrounded by their daughters on a trip to Oahu, Tom proposed the start of a new chapter built on love, family, and shared adventures.When their wedding day finally came, we couldn’t have been happier to help bring it all together and capture the magic!

Quiet & Intimate

Their wedding at Gather reflected exactly who they are: relaxed, simple, and fun. Maui has always been their favorite island, and the venue’s ocean views, golden light, and gentle breeze made it feel like a dream. Friends and family watched on as they exchanged their vows. You could feel how loved they are, how much support surrounded them as they said “I do.” They had the most stunning arch with tropical flowers that truly made the moment even more beautiful…

After the ceremony, Tom and Rose slipped away with our photographer for a few quiet moments by the ocean. The newlywed portraits were stunning, soft sunlight wrapping around them, the Pacific stretching out endlessly behind. Rose looked radiant in her gown, her joy impossible to miss. Tom couldn’t stop smiling at his beautiful bride! Together, they looked like everything this place represents: peaceful, grounded, and full of life.

Sunkissed

As the evening unfolded, Maui treated everyone to one of those sunsets that felt almost unreal. The sky turned molten gold, the kind of light that wraps everything it touches in warmth. Tom and Rose’s portraits were drenched in that glow, soft, golden, and full of life. You could see the shimmer of the ocean behind them, the light dancing on the sand as they were framed against the horizon. Every photo felt like it carried a piece of that Maui magic.
