From Preschool to Forever

Ashley & William grew up in the same town and went to preschool together, so they’ve pretty much known each other their whole lives! But what brought them from toddling cuties to lifelong partners? Their love story began in high school — They started dating when they were seniors and have been together ever since.

Years passed, and they eventually joined us for a Maui Beach Elopement. They got engaged in 2018. It was a quiet Christmas Day proposal, perfect for this private couple. Not ones to stage big productions or go over the top, Ashley & William wanted their wedding to be simple yet special.

We’re so glad we could help them plan a wedding that was right for them. Baldwin Beach was a vibrant and scenic setting, and Richardo officiated a heartfelt ceremony, complete with Hawaiian traditions and a beautiful blessing.

Ashley & William have so many loved ones supporting them from back home, and now they get to share beautiful Maui Beach Elopement photos with them. They’re a stunning couple who brought so much life and emotion to each image!

The Right Time & Place for a Maui Beach Elopement

We love morning weddings at Baldwin Beach. The water takes on a bright, turquoise color and the West Maui Mountains stand tall in the distance. There’s soft golden sand here, along with lush greenery and lots of space to explore.

It was so much fun to spend the morning with Ashley & William. We included lots of time for newlywed portraits during their Maui Beach Elopement, so they walked along the shoreline, cooled off in the shade, and embraced the North Shore winds that carried them warmth and blessings.

As the sun lifted higher into the sky, it was time to bid aloha to the gorgeous pair. Though this was their first time visiting Maui, we know it won’t be their last. Now that they’ve had a Maui Beach Elopement, Ashley & William will be drawn to the islands again and again, each time finding a new adventure and romance.

Last week we coordinated Natsuko & Derek’s Maui venue wedding, and today we get to share some of their photos! It was a beautiful morning at Merriman’s with a wonderful couple — the kind of wedding we live for.

With a small group of loved ones surrounding them, Natsuko & Derek exchanged vows, shared Hawaii lei, and became Husband & Wife. We loved every moment of their heartfelt ceremony, and their portraits are amazing.

Our Words and Our Truth

This Maui Venue Wedding was so surreal in the best way: the calm blue waters, the couple’s romantic energy, and the unbeatable weather you’ll find on a sunny Maui morning.

Merriman’s provided a quiet lawn for Natsuko & Derek’s ceremony. The restaurant overlooks Kapalua Bay and features swaying palm trees and lush landscaping. The couple has such a calm yet engaging presence, so marrying on our peaceful island was the perfect fit.

Reverend Joe led Natsuko & Derek in their vows and offered a Hawaiian blessing over them. Karma Hill Photography was there capturing it all, from the bride’s grand entrance to their emotional vows to their joyous pronouncement.

Remembering The Romance at a Maui Venue Wedding

Once Natsuko & Derek had become officially married, it was time for their couples photo shoot with Karma Hill Photography. This was their chance to unwind and enjoy the beauty all around them, plus take in all their blissful newlywed joy.

We love seeing couples’ personalities shine during their Maui Venue Wedding. Natsuko & Derek were up for anything — romantic kisses in the glowing morning sun, an adventurous walk to the rocky shoreline, playful laughter that fills each image with energy. We are here for it!

Soon it was time to bid aloha to this darling duo. They were ready to start celebrating at their reception, and their guests were excited to catch up with them. So we got in a few final photos and sent them on their way.

Kapalua’s bright, calm glow greeted us when we arrived for Rebecca & Anthony’s Hawaii beach wedding. We love relaxed morning ceremonies with incredible photos, and these two had all that and more.

They were a bit nervous when we met them at Ironwoods Beach. But in a good way. Free of the pressures that may have accompanied a big hometown event, they could take in each moment, each wave of nerves and overwhelming joy.

We’re so excited to share some of the photos from their Maui Hawaii Beach Wedding — we had such a good time with this dazzling duo, and now we can relive their day through these photos!

Hand in Hand, Through it All

Rebecca & Anthony’s Hawaii Beach Wedding was a well-earned celebration. These two work hard back home and have been through a lot together, so a joyful getaway was perfect for them.

Years ago, Rebecca moved from Michigan to Arizona to be closer to her grandpa and simply get a change of scenery. Her grandpa was part owner of a towing company there. His business partner? Handsome, hardworking Anthony.

Rebecca’s grandfather passed away, but you could feel he was there in spirit during their Hawaii Beach Wedding. Anthony looked to him as a father figure long before he even knew Rebecca, and he was of course a treasure for Rebecca.

Rebecca & Anthony brought all kinds of treasures with them to Maui’s shores: memories of her grandfather, the support of everyone who couldn’t be there in person, their shared experiences that led them to this moment.

This allowed them to share their vows honestly and truthfully. But also with laughter and hope. After all, that’s what’s got them this far, and that’s what will carry them for a lifetime.

More On The Horizon

So what’s next for Rebecca & Anthony? The first thing on their agenda after their Hawaii Beach Wedding: Breakfast. Then it was time to kick back and enjoy a classic Maui honeymoon. This was their first time getting to fully explore the island, so they were ready to make the most of their time here.

They could have stayed in Hawaii, but they were missing their little furbabies. Yes, Rebecca even turned Anthony into a dog person (or was it her Husky Mya that ultimately won him over?).

We took a few final portraits with the newlyweds before sending them on their way. But we know they’ll always be drawn to Maui, and we can’t wait to welcome them here again!

Jessica & Zachary had such a bright, joyful Destination Wedding in Maui. On a sunny Wailea morning, they met on the beach to exchange vows, take beautiful photos, and celebrate their marriage.

They’re such an adorable couple, and their guests were all so kind and caring. Now it’s time to share some of our favorite moments from their Maui wedding day!

Meant to Be by the Sea

Jessica & Zachary met by the water, so it was only fitting they married by the water too. Their love story started at a lake party. They shared mutual friends and found they also shared a romantic connection with each other.

Zachary proposed on a dock while their family watched on from a nearby hillside. It was romantic, sweet, and well-planned, just like their Destination Wedding in Maui!

When it was time to start planning their wedding, Jessica told her new fiance that she had always dreamed of a Maui wedding. She has visited the island eight times and wanted to marry somewhere meaningful for her. Zachary was completely on board. He had been here once and loved the idea of visiting again, this time to celebrate his love with friends and family.

A Morning Ceremony for a Destination Wedding in Maui

We offer Maui wedding coordination in the morning or at sunset. Both are beautiful in their own way, and we’re always happy to help couples decide which is best for them.

Jessica & Zachary chose a morning ceremony, which we think was perfect! They were having a blast on their vacation and wanted to maximize their time with family and friends. By beginning their day with a wedding ceremony, they could spend the rest of the morning and afternoon relaxing and celebrating.

Plus, the photos from their Destination Wedding in Maui are spectacular! The bright AM sun brought out the rich colors of the sky, water, and landscaping, which added so much depth to their portraits.

Maluaka Beach was the perfect Maui wedding location too! Both Jessica & Zachary stayed in Wailea during their past Maui vacations, so they were familiar with the area. We were able to get stunning photos with their toes in the sand and take advantage of the neighboring park, where even more backdrops awaited them.

We had so much fun at this Destination Wedding in Maui and are so thankful we got to work with Jessica & Zachary! Their favorite place will mean even more to them now that they’ve had a gorgeous wedding here.

When Ally & Isaiah decided to elope in Maui, they knew they wanted it to be special. But that didn’t mean it needed to be complicated. This kind, vibrant couple understands the value of simplicity. The two of them dressed up in a beautiful location, some incredible Hawaii wedding photography, tropical flowers, and the natural magic of Maui — what more do you need?

So during a relaxing, fun-filled vacation, Ally & Isaiah met at a quiet beach and became husband & wife.

We are so excited to share these images of their Maui elopement. They brought so much beauty and laughter to each moment, and it shines through in every photo.

“With This Ring”

Rev. Robert “Kuya” Alamodin officiated Ally & Isaiah’s ceremony. He helped them Elope in Maui by providing a heartfelt Hawaiian-inspired ceremony on the shores of Poʻolenalena Beach. He announced the bride’s arrival by blowing his Pu (conch shell) and offered a Hawaiian Blessing.

Ally & Isaiah’s ceremony featured the traditional ring exchange and the island lei exchange. We love how they had a mix of customs — this way, they could enjoy the ceremony moments they always dreamed of and the ones unique to Hawaii.

They even included a cake cutting on the beach. This was a great way to have those cute reception moments in their simple seaside elopement.

Ally & Isaiah were glowing through each moment of their wedding. Seeing their bliss could convince anyone to elope in Maui too!

Where to Elope in Maui: Poʻolenalena Beach

Poʻolenalena Beach was a beautiful location for Ally & Isaiah’s Maui beach elopement. This scenic stretch of sand is located in Makena. There are lava rock formations, lush greenery, a rustic wooded area, and amazing views of Kahoʻolawe and Molokini in the distance.

A light cloud cover helped make their photos extra dreamy. A lot of time, when couples plan to elope in Maui, they dream of bright sunny skies. But Ally & Isaiah’s wedding proves that there’s a unique beauty even on cloudy days.

Plus, these two sweethearts brought all the light we needed!

We are so excited to share these images from Carly & Jason’s Maui Destination Wedding! We met them last Tuesday morning for a romantic and fun ceremony at the Hyatt Maui Resort. Palm trees gently swayed overhead, and a pastel cloud cover lent a dreamy hue to the celebrations.

Everything was picture perfect: The backdrop, the scenery, the relaxed atmosphere. But our favorite part was Carly & Jason — This sweet couple brought the perfect balance of excitement and emotion. Plus, they look amazing!

These Lifelong Memories

Carly & Jason are high school sweethearts who have been together for over ten years. They were prom dates, cheered each other on through college applications and big adventures, and became grown-ups together.

During college, they weathered the ups and downs of a long-distance relationship and ended up stronger because of it. And when the timing was right, they began their life together in Minnesota. No longer the fresh-faced teenagers they once were, but still youthful and adventurous.

They brought this incredible energy to their Maui Destination Wedding. Jason had visited Hawaii multiple times in his life and always felt drawn to the warm, inviting spirit of the islands. Carly’s parents wed on the Big Island, so marrying Jason here felt meant to be. Besides, she worked at a wedding venue back home and wanted something small and meaningful for their nuptials.

And so that’s how fate brought Carly & Jason together, and how it also brought them to us. Being their Maui wedding coordinator was an absolute joy, and we loved being a part of their ceremony!

More to Cherish: Maui Destination Wedding Photography

After Carly & Jason said “I Do” and officially became husband & wife, it was time for even more fun. Their Maui Wedding Package included ceremony coverage and portraits from Karma Hill Photography. This meant they not only got breathtaking images of their vows, but they also got to take pictures around the grounds of the Hyatt.

We started with some group photos with their guests. They included a small group of loved ones in their Maui Destination Wedding. They were all so sweet and having the best time at the ceremony!

Then it was time for the newlyweds to take a romantic stroll around the property. The Hyatt features lots of beautiful areas for photos. Carly & Jason took advantage of its oceanfront setting and then went into the gardens, where swans and waterfalls awaited them.

Last week we got to be a part of Sydney & Patrick’s Maui Beach Wedding! This sweet couple was so wonderful to work with, and we loved spending the morning at Ironwoods Beach with them.

Sharing of Symbols

Sydney & Patrick’s Maui beach wedding was officiated by Reverend Kimo Kirkman. He brought laughter and tears to the seaside ceremony, and he led the pair in a Hawaiian-inspired lei exchange. Kimo explained that the lei are a symbol of the never-ending circle of love and a reminder of the fragility of life. And in traditional Hawaii style, Sydney & Patrick shared a loving kiss after presenting each other with the lei.

So not only did this cute couple exchange rings and vows at their Hawaii wedding, but they also exchanged fresh lei with each other. It added extra meaning to their heartfelt ceremony and allowed them to honor the beautiful place they chose as their wedding destination.

The Japengo Lawn – A Hyatt Maui Wedding Venue

The Japengo Lawn is the perfect spot for a Maui morning wedding. This small corner of the Hyatt is slightly heightened, so you get great ocean views without worrying about beachgoers and resort guests.

In the evening, Japengo is a bustling (and delicious!) restaurant. But on a beautiful morning last week, it was all ours. We loved every minute of our ceremony here: the beautiful decor Anna selected, the look in Farrell’s eyes as he said his vows, and the romantic Hawaiian music Uncle Jimi chose for them.

Virtually Here: Sharing Their Ceremony Across the Globe

Anna & Farrell had two guests present at their Maui Hyatt wedding, but their virtual guest list extended across the globe. They chose our “Virtually There” upgrade option, which allowed them to Livestream their ceremony to countless loved ones, near and far.

Not only did they get to share the video with their virtual guests in real time, but they also get to watch it anytime, so Anna & Farrell can relive their Magical Maui Wedding through photos AND video.

Beyond the Altar

Our wedding day adventures didn’t end when Anna & Farrell said “I Do.” Once they shared their vows and sealed them with a kiss, it was time to take their couple’s photos. The Japengo Lawn is stunning, so we got some special shots with their altar decor.

But we weren’t confined to their ceremony site. We were able to explore all of the Maui Hyatt, like their floral landscaping, swinging rope bridge, and styled waterfall.

As beautiful as these photo settings are, our favorite part is Anna & Farrell – the true stars of this Hyatt Maui Wedding.

Maui has a special place in Lynnda and David’s hearts because it reminds them of home! This sweet couple celebrated their anniversary with a celebration totally arranged by their sweet daughter. While deciding where to celebrate their love, their daughter knew this island would be the right place for all involved. Their Hawaii vow renewal was on the shores of DT Fleming Beach Park while the morning sun hung in the sky! We adore how perfect this event was for our Lynnda and David. Lynnda and David wanted their vow renewal to be a relaxed but family-oriented celebration! Only twelve people attended their event. However, surrounding our delightful duo was love and support from every guest! Kahu Tree was the officiant, and she delivered a heartwarming Hawaiian sermon. Then Stephan Boeker Films documented this meaningful occasion effortlessly, while Karma Hill Photography captured every moment beautifully. Now, they can relive this morning forever!

The Location For Their Hawaii Vow Renewal

DT Fleming Beach never fails to make morning ceremonies feel dreamy and intimate. The vibrant sun was hanging high in the sky — this natural lighting made the occasion feel enchanting. In addition, there was no cloud coverage, making the dramatic mountain views clear as day! Then the exquisite landscapes on the seaside enhanced the romantic mood. You can see the cerulean waves, beige sand, and lush greenery decorating the background of every shot. Above all, we love how the long shoreline provided plenty of space for every guest to stand comfortably!

Our Couple’s Story

Lynnda and David celebrated forty years of love at their Hawaii vow renewal! This celebration was especially poignant because our passionate pair were originally married at a refugee camp, so they didn’t get to have a wedding in the traditional sense. There was no fancy dress or party after. Their lovely daughter made sure the second celebration had all the bells and whistles. The couple loved Maui because it reminds our lovely couple of home — Cambodia! They’ve also had magnificent trips and unforgettable explorations with their family here. What a beautiful cull circle moment this must have been for this couple, knowing how far they have come since their original wedding in the refugee camp 40 years ago.

Currently, David is retired, while Lynnda works for Boeing. They also have three beautiful daughters! You can find this gorgeous duo spending time with their five grandchildren and traveling in their spare time.

Congratulations, Lynnda and David, on forty years of marriage! Thank you for sharing this occasion with us. We wish you a future full of quality time with family and new adventures!

Christopher and Nicole’s venue wedding in Maui was the definition of romantic! Their ceremony was on the lush lawn of The Steeple House. We adore how this morning affair was tranquil, intimate, and elegant. Not to mention, they had the perfect weather when it was time to tie the knot. Why We Like Their Venue Wedding in Maui

One of the reasons we adore Christopher and Nicole’s special day is because their loved ones were in attendance! Thirty-two of our charming couple’s friends and family joined them in Hawaii as they celebrated their connection. Our gorgeous pair even had a bridal party of eight standing alongside them as they exchanged rings, leis, and vows! It was heartwarming to see the sheer support Christopher and Nicole got on their wedding day. Most importantly, you can tell it meant a lot to our blissful newlyweds to have everyone commemorating their occasion with them!

However, we think portraits captured by Karma Hill Photography are remarkable! Christopher and Nicole can forever relive their Maui venue wedding with this collection. More than anything, they can remember the joy and bliss they felt during this day!

When Rey and Kat asked us to help them elope in Maui, we were excited to be part of this magical event! Hawaii’s natural beauty and tranquil ambiance created the perfect scene for this event. The day was full of loving moments, meaningful traditions, and breathtaking weather. This intimate ceremony was an all-white affair! Kat looked gorgeous in her sleek and chic wedding gown. Her hair and makeup are classic — they go perfectly with her exquisite dress. Where They Eloped in Maui

Po’olenalena Beach was the location for this event! Surrounding our beautiful couple are natural lava rock formations, lofty palm trees, and sapphire waves. Above Rey and Kat was a soft blue sky and light cloud coverage! In every shot, you can see the sun’s bright rays shining down on the shore — enhancing the brilliance! In addition, we like how the natural hues at this South Maui spot are vibrant. 

After the ceremony, Tenessa from Karma Hill Photography captured more pictures of our lovely couple! Tate and Marianne’s Hawaii beach wedding was elegant, tropical, and romantic. Held on the stunning shores of Ironwoods Beach — the ambiance was dreamy and tranquil! Then Reverend Kimo Kirkman’s meaningful words made this ceremony much more intimate. Lastly, Tenessa from Karma Hill Photography captured every affectionate moment of this event! Tate and Marianne’s photographer, Tenessa, began her morning by capturing some getting-ready photos of our bride! Maui Makeup Artistry styled Marianne beautifully; her hair was in an elegant updo while her makeup was chic. Then we got some lovely portraits our Marianne’s mother helping her get into her wedding gown!

The Memorable Hawaii Beach Wedding

Once they were ready, it was time for Marianne and Tate to have their first looks! We adore it when couples have a second together before heading to their ceremony. Not only can you see their blissful expressions — but you can also see the sheer love they have for one another. As soon as Tate and Marianne met eyes, there was nothing but a radiant smile on their faces! It was such a sweet event to witness. Most importantly, this magical moment set the tone for the rest of this morning occasion!

After this, we traveled to Ironwoods Beach for the ceremony! Tate took his spot at the top of the shore by Rev. Kimo Kirkman. Then once all the guests got comfortable, Marianne made her grand entrance! Our bride was escorted down the aisle by her parents!

Marianne and Tate’s cake cutting was intimate and lighthearted! Decorating this one-tier treat are cake flowers from Dellables. Then our passionate newlyweds were full of joy as they celebrated their love!

However, we adore the blissful glow Tate and Marianne have! You can tell our charming pair is savoring their first moment as a married couple. Above all, we’re happy they’ll always be able to relive their Hawaii beach wedding with these captivating portraits!
