Meant To Be – Haily & Hugo’s Maui Venue Wedding

Hawaii has a special place in Haily and Hugo’s hearts! Since they met one another on the island, they knew there was no better place to tie the knot. Their Maui venue wedding was tranquil and intimate. Our gorgeous couple was able to celebrate their love with their closest friends and family! Most importantly, you can tell this passionate pair relished every second of this intimate ceremony. Continue scrolling to experience this afternoon event for yourself.

Before we went to the ceremony location, Karma Hill Photography captured pictures of the bridal party! First, they got some fun photos of the groom and his groomsmen. These pillow fight shots are so lighthearted. You can tell Hugo is already feeling exciting to be marrying Haily!

After this, we went to see Haily and her bridesmaids. It was heartwarming to see our bride getting ready as she held her one-year-old daughter in her arms. Lastly, the group shot is beautiful! Haily has a blissful glow on her face; you can tell she’s feeling nothing but happiness to be getting married!

Why We Love Their Maui Venue Wedding

Merriman’s Kapalua was the location for this event, and this spot provided us with breathtaking scenes! Silky clouds and the setting sun’s luminous glow were decorating the sky. Then the lush lawn and lofty palm trees created a magical landscape. However, we adore how exquisite the circle arch is with the vivid greenery. It enhances the dreamy ambiance and makes this ceremony look like a tropical fairytale!

Our Couple’s Story

Fate was working overtime when Haily and Hugo met! In November 2016, Haily moved to Maui because she got a new job. Then in February 2017, Hugo visited the island with his mother, brother, and brother’s girlfriend to celebrate his mom’s birthday! After his brother mentioned a dating app, Hugo decided to try it during his vacation.

Once Haily and Hugo both swiped right on each other, Hugo messaged her to make a connection. Then, one day later, they met up at Canoe Beach! From there, they never stopped talking. Then in 2018, Haily moved back to California to be closer to Hugo and her family.

The weather forecast said it was supposed to rain all day, but lucky for us, it didn’t. It’s almost as if this Maui venue wedding was meant to be!

Their one-year-old daughter was the flower girl! Although she got a little fussy during the ceremony, she was nothing but smiles when she was in her parents’ arms. You can tell Haily and Hugo are great parents to their little one!
