Before awing over their big day, let’s share a little backstory of our beautiful pair! Our happy couple met at a party through friends. There was an instant connection, and sparks flew…Their engagement was just as special – they got engaged in Kauai on a dinner cruise off the Napali coast! They love Hawaii, and it will forever be a cherished place in their love story.

Their Maui beach wedding was a beautiful bright morning; they couldn’t have asked for a clearer day! The natural beauty of the island is all the decor they need! The water, the white sand, and the sound of the gentle waves at Maluaka Beach enhanced the dreamy atmosphere…

As you can see, morning weddings on the beach are particularly special since the colors tend to be brighter and more vivid in the morning light. Generally, there isn’t much cloud cover, so the sunshine can be very bright, casting a sunny glow over everything and creating a happy atmosphere! This warm and inviting light makes every moment feel magical, from exchanging vows to the first kiss as newlyweds like Malia and Jared!

The happy pair soaked up all the love and joy of their special day as they walked further down the beach for their newlywed portraits. Malia looks exquisite in her all-white bridal look in contrast to the tropical blues! And we love the velvet touches of Jared’s attire; it added a little luxe and elegance to their relaxed beachy celebration…they make a beautiful pair!

A beach wedding in Maui is always a great idea! You get to have a simple yet meaningful ceremony, and the island’s natural surroundings provide the best backdrop.

Ryan & Silvia understood the draw, and that’s why they chose to marry in Maui. So on a bright May morning, we met these two on the shores of Poʻolenalena Beach for a memorable celebration. It was so much fun, and we’re honored we could be their Maui wedding coordinator.

An Early Start

We typically offer our Maui wedding packages in the morning or at sunset. Both are beautiful in their own way and offer a unique experience.

Ryan & Silvia chose a morning beach wedding in Maui, which suited this bright, adventurous couple. The beaches tend to be less busy in the morning, and it leaves the rest of the day to relax and celebrate.

But it does make for an early wake-up call. Ryan and the guests began arriving at the beach before 8 AM, and Silvia made her grand entrance a few minutes later. That means she was up before the sun, preparing her picture-perfect bridal look and anxiously awaiting the moment when she said “I Do.”

These two look great no matter what, but we especially loved seeing their amazing wedding style, which looked great at this beach wedding in Maui.

Another unique thing about morning weddings is how the photos look. The Karma Hill Team can really capture the blues in the ocean and the sky, and the greens of the trees stand out. It’s a bright, tropical look for couples who love the vibrancy of Hawaii.

Tradition & Originality at a Beach Wedding in Maui

When you get married in Hawaii, you get a lot of flexibility. After all, there are likely fewer guests to impress and less pressure to do things the same way as everybody else. You’re getting married in a unique spot, so you can choose elements that are true to you, even if it’s different from other weddings.

But you can also be as traditional as you want. Ryan & Silvia still included a grand entrance onto the beach, and they had a cake cutting after their ceremony. They wore formal wedding attire with a tropical touch, and took portraits that really showcased their style.

We’re impressed by how they balance tradition with originality, creating a beach wedding in Maui that was true to who they are.

When we arrived on Henry and Stephanie’s big day, we were greeted with the gentle sound of the waves, a bright and sunny morning in Maui. We knew it was going to be a special day! As their Maui elopement coordinators, we were thrilled to be a part of their magic and what their wedding day had in store!

From the moment they arrived, we could feel the love and excitement in the air. A Day For Us

Their Maui elopement ceremony was held at Lahaina Shores, a favorite location of ours that provides astonishing views of the harbor boats in the distance. Henry and Stephanie exchanged their vows under the bright Hawaiian sun, creating a moment that will remain a sacred memory for them in years to come…

Stephanie was breathtaking with a haku pastel-colored flower crown that complemented her breezy bohemian beachy gown! We love the sheer details…the total look had us in awe! Henry looks effortlessly cool and relaxed in a crisp white button up…

I’ll Walk With You Forever

The first thing (and the only thing to do in our minds!) as “Just Maui’d”newlyweds is to take a stroll on the beach! Our happy newlyweds walked hand in hand, savoring the beauty and joy of the moment. Their Maui elopement newlywed portraits are full of light and airiness thanks to the bright morning sun. We love how incredibly happy and in love they look in these photographs! Even though it was just the two of them, it was still very romantic….even more so with the beauty of paradise surrounding them! Pure bliss…

When Kelsey and Naj decided they wanted to tie the knot in Hawaii, they knew they wanted a beautiful, elegant, and memorable destination wedding. I’ll Go Anywhere With You – Maui Destination Wedding

As we captured their newlywed portraits on the beach, Kelsey and Naj could barely contain their excitement for their future together. They are lost in each other’s gaze in these photographs! You can see the deep love they share in every embrace and kiss. Our lovebirds were surrounded by beautiful palm trees, which added a touch of tropical elegance to their modern beachy celebration!

Kelsey took our breath away (and Naj’s!) in her sleek gown with her pastel blooms! They are so springy and fresh! Naj is equally handsome and casual cool in his sand colored three peice suit – very dapper!

The sun shone brightly for our lovely couple, Noveen and Luke’s Maui elopement! They both had always wanted to visit Hawaii and Noveen, in particular, loved the idea of getting married on the beach. So finally, the wait was over – their big day had arrived, and we couldn’t be happier for these two!

They met in 2020 through a mutual friend, as they both work in the entertainment industry. Noveen is a voice-over artist and Luke is a producer and music director for Universal Music. As you can imagine, they have a lot in common! Sparks flew (or, rather, their love song began!), and the rest is history! Keep reading to see how their lovely morning unfolded…

Just For Us

Our happy couple chose a gorgeous location on Maui’s South Shore, Po’olenalena Beach, for their Maui elopement! “We thought this would be perfect to get eloped in Maui on the beach and spend a few days thereafter as our honeymoon,” our lovely bride told us before their special day. It was a pleasure to make their dream come true!

This was their day…and they enjoyed every second of their Maui elopement! The bright sunshine added to the joy and beauty of the moment. Finally, the shoes came off, and it was time to celebrate in the sunshine! The newlyweds couldn’t stop smiling, soaking in the magic and romance of the moment…

After working together for years, it was only in 2020 did Alex and Janna realize there was something more. Fast forward years later, and they are now tying the knot at their Maui elopement! It was a simple and elegant affair, surrounded by close friends and family under the bright morning sun. When Janna visited Maui, she knew she wanted to get married in Hawaii! Our talented team of wedding coordinators made that dream possible for both of them, as you’ll see below!

The Best Morning

It was a bright blue sunny morning at Polo Beach for their intimate Maui elopement, making their wedding photos vibrant and colorful! Morning ceremonies are generally brighter and bolder due to the clear and intense sun. But our lovely couple was so excited to get married right on the beach first thing in the morning! We love how Janna and Alex chose nontraditional colors like lilac and deep green (with white, of course!)for their wedding attire; they complemented each other beautifully. The only missing guests were their furry “kids” back at home!

With many cheers, laughs, and hugs, our happy newlyweds walked further down the beach for some more intimate portraits with just the two of them. Janna and Alex are completely wrapped up in the romance of the moment in these photos, with the tropical setting in the distance…Thankfully, they had each other by their side to walk across the lava rocks to look out to the sea…and their future!

It was a heartful and family-orientated ceremony, which is exactly what they hoped for on their special day. It was so sweet to see their beautiful daughter Harley, 3, serve as their flower girl who was happy to be in mama’s arms! Everyone was so excited to be there under the bright sunshine to honor this happy couple…

Our happy newlyweds opted for our “Just Maui’d” sign for a few beach portraits! And as the sign says, Jen and John looked effortless and at ease on the beach. Jen’s lace gown was elegant yet beachy with a sultry slit on the side. A true natural beauty! John couldn’t stop smiling at his beautiful bride…

Bright Maui Mornings

Since their Maui beach ceremony began in the early morning, the colors and light of their photos turned out so vibrant and bright! The bright greens, turquoise ocean, gold sand, and pink confection of Jen’s blooms radiated in the bright sunshine. So, if you are planning to get married on the beach in the morning, do keep in mind that the sun can be very strong (and hot!) but no less beautiful! And as you’ll see, they were ready to share a kiss and a few splashes in the clear water…

We were delighted to capture Mecaela and Jeremy’s Maui beach wedding last week! It was an incredibly moving day that they wouldn’t forget! Our sweet couple fell in love with each other in Maui, so naturally, it became where they would begin their next journey together! A Spontaneous Decision – Their Love Story

Our darling couple met through close friends; they felt an immediate connection and parallel history. Then, on a last-minute trip to Maui, they fell in love! (Hawaii does that!) They were overlooking the ocean, watching the whales breach, when they both realized they were meant to be together…

Ten years later, Jeremy proposed opposed on a sunset cruise off Lahaina shores, among smiling passengers, crying crew members, and a family of whales under a beautiful rainbow. They knew from that moment that they wanted to get married in Maui, as it has always been their “love rock,” where their special relationship takes another step towards bliss… that story touched us!

Originally, they were planning for a larger wedding in California with their friends and family but quickly realized it grew into something they didn’t want at the end of the day…what mattered most was their commitment to each other without the bells and whistles…We are so happy they did! Their Maui beach wedding was just as they wanted it to be – personal, relaxed, dreamy, and elegant!

After they exchanged their thoughtful and personal vows, it was time to celebrate! Don’t they look so happy! Maui has indeed showered them both with love and aloha! It warms our hearts that they stayed true to themselves and what they envisioned for their dream beach wedding!

They were joined by close family and their lovely daughter Ava who was so pleased! The backdrop of their Maui wedding was the striking West Maui Mountains at Kanaha Beach Park. This beach is perfect for a quiet beach wedding because it’s off the beaten path yet still has dramatic views!

A Life Full of Love

Our spontaneous couple wanted to soak up the tropical ambiance with the blessing and congratulations from their nearest and dearest. Wrapped in each other’s warm embrace, they welcomed their new beginning together after so many years! These spontaneous two know how to have fun together – they love exploring new places and sites! Although, their Maui beach wedding felt like it came full circle for them both…so romantic!

Mecaela looked like a Hawaiian goddess in her glittering gown and floral crown! It fits the natural setting perfectly…

And Jeremy’s easy-going linen suit was the perfect complement! He looked incredibly dashing with the maile lei!

Their fantastic day was all they could have ever hoped for…it was where it all began and where it will continue to grow! We laughed right alongside them as they played in the water together! The turquoise water is so very tempting!

Their Love Story

Our charming couple, originally from the Bay area, recently moved to Sacramento with their furry family. These two love spending quality time together hiking, running, and all things active! So it’s no wonder they love Maui so much! Believe it or not, Jayme answered an ad on Craigslist which was looking for a bassist in a rock band, and Ray was the guitarist! The rest is history, as you can see!

Jayme was entirely surprised when Ray popped the question on her birthday in Napa by the water – so romantic! So naturally, we are curious to know the proposal story behind our couples; each one warms our hearts! They have been to Maui several times as a couple and with friends and family but never considered it as a location for their wedding until a friend suggested it, funnily enough! It felt like a natural fit for them both, and we couldn’t agree more!

Our newlyweds chose Gannon’s in Kihei for their intimate Maui venue wedding. With sweeping views of the ocean and a private lawn, this is an ideal location for panoramic views of the island. It was many of their friends and family’s first time visiting Hawaii too! They were a lively bunch with smiles all around!

After their private ceremony, our newlyweds walked hand in hand as husband and wife for the first time on Southside Beach. They couldn’t have asked for a more blissful morning! The morning light is one of our favorite times to shoot – the colors are soft and flattering. With palm trees in the distance and turquoise waters, this beach is at the top of our list of recommendations for Maui wedding locations!

Newlywed Bliss

During their private session, we were just as swept up in the moment as they were! Ray couldn’t stop smiling at his new bride! These precious moments together will be forever cherished.

Jayme’s dress had so many intricate details and textures; she looked positively radiant! The floral embroidery down the back was so feminine and ethereal. Doesn’t she look gorgeous?! Seeing her bridal gown was a big reveal for our photographers too. We love seeing our bride’s style shine through!
