Eleanor and Manuel’s Maui vow renewal was a celebration of their love and commitment to each other after 30 years of marriage. A Dream Come True

They chose to renew their vows on the cliffs at Ironwood Beach, overlooking the stunning turquoise waters of the ocean. This dramatic cliffside location provided a breathtaking backdrop for them to recommit their love to each other. Eleanor looked radiant in her billowy gown with tiers and frothy layers, making her feel like a true queen! Manny is equally handsome in his white tunic! Their lovely daughters were right by their side to witness this special moment…

Believe it or not, these two met on a blind date! Their first wedding didn’t go as planned, so their Maui vow renewal was what they envisioned all those years ago! And more importantly, make new memories and reaffirm the love which has carried them through life together…

The golden sunset provided the most incredible lighting, giving their photos an ethereal and romantic feel. The backlit photos were some of our favorites, as they perfectly captured the love and connection between this beautiful couple!

We then took a few portraits down by the water, which was breathtaking with the turquoise waters! It couldn’t be any more perfect! All of the elements came together for their Maui vow renewal to make it a picture-perfect day. We are so happy we finally made their dream come true!

Abigael and Edwin’s Maui venue wedding was nothing short of magical! This happy couple, who both work remotely in Seattle, wanted their wedding to be the best vacation yet – and they definitely succeeded! It was an amazing day surrounded by their nearest and dearest, as you’ll see in the highlights below!

Sacred & Special

The gorgeous grounds at Steeple House in Kapalua where it all happened…their sacred commitment to love, cherish, and honor each other for the rest of their lives… The gravity of this moment never surpasses all of us at Simple Maui Wedding!

Surrounded by friends and family, our lovely couple looked absolutely radiant with joy as they tied the knot. The stone terrace and stairs, especially at the Steeple House, provided a majestic spot for their ceremony and portraits, highlighting their love and connection truly breathtakingly! The sunshine filtering through the trees only added to the magic of their lovely day. Getting married in Maui was a dream come true! (Their dog is even named Maui!)

These love birds met online in 2018, and on their third dating anniversary, Edwin proposed during a hike to a waterfall picnic. It was just the two of them, and the moment was absolutely perfect! Now the moment they made it official, it’s really happening! Introducing Mr. & Mrs. Lantigua!

The expansive lawn at the Steeple House provided ample space and opportunities for photo ops for the happy couple. The bright blue sky and greenery make their Maui wedding photos feel so light and airy! As they looked out onto the ocean, it reminded us their Maui venue wedding was just the beginning of their next adventure together!

It was a stunning celebration with their closest friends and family in attendance, held at Gannon’s on the Grassy Knoll. The day and weather were perfect…another gorgeous day on the island!

Olivia looked simply breathtaking in her classic deep V bridal gown, which perfectly complemented the elegant and timeless feel of the wedding. (With a tropical flair of, course!) Hayden looked equally handsome in his suit, and together they make a beautiful couple. They were both beaming with happiness, and we couldn’t help but smile ourselves!

We had so much fun walking around the lush grounds with Olivia and Hayden after the ceremony for their newlywed portraits. They looked so happy and in love, creating truly beautiful moments that we were able to capture to remember forever….

The white and green color palette they chose for their Maui venue wedding was absolutely perfect – fresh, natural, and romantic. The lush greenery and tropical surroundings of the venue added to the magic of the day, creating an unforgettable experience for everyone in attendance!

We could feel their love radiating as they exchanged their heartfelt words with their three kiddos in attendance…

One of the most special moments of Jessica and Adam’s Maui vow renewal was the involvement of their kids. Those signs! The “Ring Security” signs added a playful and lighthearted element to the ceremony!

We couldn’t help but notice this was a special family moment as they stood together in the sunshine on the beach, surrounded by family. The love between Jessica and Adam was palpable, and it was evident that their kids were overjoyed to be a part of this special moment in their parents’ lives. There’s something magical about eloping that sets it apart from traditional weddings. It’s just the two of you basking in the beauty of your love in a stunning destination! That’s exactly what Kristen and Corey thought when planning their Maui elopement! Our lovely couple’s big day was a lighthearted and playful affair filled with laughter and love.

Kristen knew she wanted a destination wedding, and Hawaii seemed like the perfect choice since it’s in the US and feels exotic! After hearing from her coworkers about how amazing Maui is, the couple agreed it would be the perfect location for their intimate ceremony! Our Day For Us

Their love story is truly inspiring, and Corey pulled off an amazing proposal! He tricked Kristen by making up a trip for a long weekend, but instead, he proposed to her at the beautiful Belhurst Castle in front of a “Marry Me” sign. It was the best day ever!

Fast forward to their spectacular day at Kanaha Beach, they exchanged heartfelt vows to the sound of the gentle waves. The airy lightness of their wedding photography reflects their joy and laughter throughout their Maui elopement. The tender moments mixed with laughs are truly heartwarming! Kristen and Corey plan on having a big reception celebration with their friends and family back home too! We love that idea for a Maui elopement, especially for a destination wedding. But this day was their day…

These two can now officially say they are “Just Maui’d!” They have been looking forward to this moment for so long, and finally, it had happened! After their intimate ceremony, we walked down the stretch of white sand to capture their first moments as husband and wife. Kristen looked so elegant with her fresh white Maui Elegance bouquet, and the cool and blue color palette of their photos perfectly reflected the laid-back atmosphere. Corey looks equally as sharp in his blue suit!

At the end of their beautiful day, what mattered most was their deep love, friendship, and commitment. This is just the first step in their new beginning as husband and wife!

We recently spent the most magical day with our lovely couple, Macy and Blake! Their Maui venue wedding was a beautiful explosion of tropical flowers and natural beauty, with a touch of elegance and romance. Every element of their special day was perfect, from the orchids, tropical bounty, and palms at the altar.

So, let’s first start with a bit of history of our lovely pair! Macy is a high school biology teacher, while Blake is an accountant, and they enjoy spending time together at the lake or cabin and hanging out with friends and family. They also graduated from Mississippi State University and got engaged shortly after, and they’ve been together since 2013! Their wedding date was extra special as it fell on their 10th dating anniversary, making it a perfect celebration of their love and commitment to each other. Macy’s parents got married in Maui, and they wanted a stress-free and beautiful wedding just like theirs! That’s where Simple Maui Wedding came in, as you’ll see below!

Altar In Paradise

This gorgeous styled altar is so breathtakingly beautiful! We love the fresh white and green color palette they chose for their Maui venue wedding at our Rustic Hawaiian Ruins. The historic open-air chapel only enhanced the natural beauty of the decor! Our floral partner, Dellables, did a fantastic job of making their celebration so special!

Their beautiful Maui venue wedding was filled with love and happiness, with their close friends and family in attendance to witness their vows. It felt like a corner of paradise just for these love birds! We were so touched by the thoughtful details and the tender moments they shared during their ceremony. These two now can officially say they are “Just Maui’d!”

After saying, “I do,” they drove off in a flashy Mustang to the beach for some stunning newlywed portraits! Riding off into the sunset in style (and love!)

Macy and Blake looked head over heels in love, and their portraits perfectly captured their joy and happiness on their special day. The soft light is so flattering and golden in these portraits…one reason why we love shooting at the golden hour! It was an honor to capture these final moments of their dream Maui venue wedding!

Aleeshia and Cameron’s Maui elopement was a true celebration of love and intimacy, and we couldn’t be happier for this wonderful couple! As they began planning their wedding back home in Maine, they quickly realized that it wasn’t going to be as intimate as they had hoped. With the stress of planning and decision-making, they decided that an elopement in Hawaii would be the perfect solution! Our company, Simple Maui Wedding, was ready to bring their vision to life!

Our lovely pair got engaged in Hawaii in January 2022, so Hawaii is a very special place for them. And while on that trip, they decided if they ever returned, it would be Maui! So when they were wedding planning, it was the natural choice for their elopement! We were honored to be a part of their special day and capture some beautiful moments for them!

The day of their Maui elopement was filled with joy and happiness. Aleeshia and Cameron look relaxed and carefree, taking in every moment of their special day. The ceremony took place on Po’olenalena Beach, with waves crashing in the background, creating a serene and romantic atmosphere…

The simplicity of the setting made their ceremony made it feel even more romantic. Despite the uncertainty of where to get married, our talented team of wedding coordinators took away the stress of their day. It truly felt like a celebration of their love and commitment to each other without the traditional fuss of a large celebration. These photos of our lovely pair exchanging heartfelt vows during their Maui elopement are filled with love and emotion. We can see the love and happiness in their eyes!

After their lovely ceremony, we had the opportunity to capture some beautiful photos of the new Mr. & Mrs. Greenwood on the beach! There was an instant connection, and sparks flew…Their engagement was just as special – they got engaged in Kauai on a dinner cruise off the Napali coast! They love Hawaii, and it will forever be a cherished place in their love story.

Their Maui beach wedding was a beautiful bright morning; they couldn’t have asked for a clearer day! The natural beauty of the island is all the decor they need! The water, the white sand, and the sound of the gentle waves at Maluaka Beach enhanced the dreamy atmosphere…

As you can see, morning weddings on the beach are particularly special since the colors tend to be brighter and more vivid in the morning light. Generally, there isn’t much cloud cover, so the sunshine can be very bright, casting a sunny glow over everything and creating a happy atmosphere! This warm and inviting light makes every moment feel magical, from exchanging vows to the first kiss as newlyweds like Malia and Jared!

The happy pair soaked up all the love and joy of their special day as they walked further down the beach for their newlywed portraits. Malia looks exquisite in her all-white bridal look in contrast to the tropical blues! After years of growing and thriving together, Josh & Taylor decided it was time to get married. This active, driven couple knew they wanted to wed in a place they love. So they chose to have a Maui Destination Wedding.

Their celebration was simple yet meaningful, small in size but vast in all it represented. And it was our great honor to coordinate it.

So on a glowing Maui evening, we met Josh & Taylor on Maluaka Beach, where they vowed to love and treasure each other for the rest of their lives. Now it’s time to relive the day through their Maui destination wedding photography!

From Teen Sweethearts to Lifelong Love

Josh & Taylor met in 2010, when they were teenagers working at the same golf course. It took them one month to start dating, but they took their time before getting married. After all, they were so young, and they had a lot of growing up to do.

But they grew up together, and that’s what we love about Josh & Taylor’s love story. They began developing similar values, encouraging each other through trials and successes, and they fell more and more in love.

And now, 13 years later, they are finally tying the knot – making their bond official and celebrating their relationship.

A Maui Destination Wedding was perfect for this adventurous pair, as it allowed them to explore the islands, relax, and truly enjoy their big day.

And it was perfect for us too, since it meant we got to be a part of it! We’re so glad we got to meet these two and be a part of such an important milestone.

The Details That Matter for a Maui Destination Wedding

Josh & Taylor were drawn to the scenic simplicity of a Maui beach wedding, and they had the most gorgeous day.

Our favorite thing about these small celebrations is how customizable they are. Josh & Taylor could choose the details and traditions that meant the most to them and forego anything they didn’t want in their wedding.

So they had a heartfelt ceremony, beautiful flowers, a few loved ones present, and incredible photography.

But best of all, they brought their wonderful, shining spirits along. After all, it was Josh & Taylor who made this Maui Destination Wedding such a joy.

These two are returning to Idaho soon, but they’ll carry with them the memories and bond they formed here in the islands. The peace and energy of the water, the glow of the sunset, and the guidance of the trade winds will always be a part of their marriage.

The clear Lahaina skies shone around us when we joined Mickayla & AJ on the beach. As their Maui Wedding Coordinator, we were one of the lucky few who got to witness their joyous seaside ceremony. There were happy tears and lots of laughter, plus the incredible scenery you’ll only find here in Hawaii.

Don’t worry, though. They may have had only a small group of guests join them for their beach wedding, but they were sure to get great photos. So now they can share the day with everyone back home and relive these memories again and again.

We’re so excited to share some of their Maui wedding photography and shine the spotlight on this amazing couple!

The Road To Each Other’s Hearts

Mickayla & AJ work for the same company, though they don’t see each other much during the day. AJ is the mechanic, and Mickayla is in sales. Though they don’t share the same roles at work, they share many interests in their free time.

They enjoy all kinds of activities, like skiing, kayaking, and indoor rock climbing. But they also value their quiet time at home and quality time with family.

They also share an affinity for cars and even included a luxe ride in their proposal. It was just a year ago when these two were cruising through the mountains near Las Vegas in their rented Lamborghini when AJ stopped to “take in the view.”

It turned out it was actually Mickayla who took his breath away, and so he asked her to marry him!

And so they began looking forward to forever. Maui was the perfect place to begin the rest of their lives. We’re so happy we could be their Maui wedding coordinator and be a part of their love story!

Now these two are on the winding, scenic road of life together, ready for adventure, romance, and the joys of their partnership.

A Simple Celebration with a Maui Wedding Coordinator

Mickayla & AJ were drawn to a simple beach wedding — a minimalist event highlighting their romance and relaxed attitudes. We’re so happy we could be a part of it as their Maui wedding coordinator!

We helped them choose details that fit their style and spirit. A white, tropical bouquet for Mickayla and a matching boutonniere for AJ. Lei they could exchange during the ceremony. Photography that was timeless and joyful.

But we have to give AJ & Mickayla credit for bringing the beauty and happiness to this beach wedding in Maui! From their chic ensemble to their radiating smiles, they were dressed up from head to toe.

Though shining with outward beauty, it’s their souls that really sparkle. Their laughter and love were radiant, and it was an honor to be their Maui wedding coordinator.

Now it’s time for them to head back home as a married couple, but we know these Maui memories will live on with them forever — a glowing beginning to a life of many joys.

The stunning geometric golden arch served as the altar, adorned with all-white flowers, which was a romantic backdrop for the couple’s vows. Erika and Joshua love the outdoors and nature, so naturally, they felt right a home with the lush greenery and foliage… albeit a tropical version compared to the deep forests of Oregon!

We couldn’t help but smile right alongside everyone in attendance! After exchanging their loving vows and several hugs and cheers from guests, our newlyweds snuck away to Southside Beach for some stunning sunset portraits…

Despite the uncertainty over the past few years, Amy and Kenneth took full advantage of the time at home to get to know one another. Their relationship blossomed right when the world went into lockdown, they decided to quarantine together (after one date!), and everything just fell naturally into place. It all began clear – they knew they wanted to spend their lives together! Skip a few years ahead, and now they are tying the knot at their Maui venue wedding! Their beautiful day began with our photographer capturing a few excited and happy moments just before they headed to their Maui wedding venue ceremony. Both were so ready to see each other finally! Kenneth looked so sharp in his navy suit with the touch of green which perfectly complimented Amy’s jade accessories! And what caught us the most was the look on Kenneth’s face when he got a first glimpse of his beautiful bride! His reaction was genuine and heartfelt…

These two, when planning their Maui venue wedding, knew they wanted something intimate and romantic. The quiet Makani Point at the Wailea Beach Resort was just what they hoped for. The gentle breeze, salty air, and graceful hula dancer added to the romance and tropical ambiance of their vows.

Kenneth and Amy are two peas in a pod (they both work in art), and their love was palpable throughout their special day. You can tell they are the best of friends and love a good laugh together! And they shared many throughout their big day!

Our happy newlyweds were ready to begin the next chapter of their lives together! Walking off into the sunset with the love of your life in paradise was not just a fantasy, but a dream come true for Amy and Kenneth!
