A Love Like This – Joy & Ryan’s Maui Venue Wedding

“It has been my dream to have a Hawaii wedding since I was little. After visiting Hawaii a few months back, I have never been more sure about the whole thing,” our lovely bride, Joy, told our wedding coordinators before their Maui venue wedding. Ryan, a certified flight instructor at a renowned aeronautical school, has an adventurous side too so he was totally on-board with the whole idea! 😉 It was an honor to bring their vision to life; we know how much this day meant to them. Re-live their amazing day with us through these highlights below! The mix of emotions from joy to excitement were palpable throughout their entire day….
Joy and Ryan opted for an inimate celebration at Gather, formly named Gannons, in Kihei. All their friends and family gathered in attendance to celebrate the happy pair. This gorgeous view on the grassy knoll was a picturesque backdrop for their sweet vow exchange. There were many laughs, tears, hugs, and kisses of, course, namely between the happy newlyweds, Joy and Ryan! We could feel the emotion and the tenderness these two shared the moment Ryan turned around to catch his first glimpse of Joy…
A Dream Come True
With many cheers and congratulations echoing for our happy pair, we went down to Southside Beach, for some newlywed portraits! These two are the best of friends…they actually met in high school when Joy was the lead role in a play and Ryan was a lead tech behind the scenes. Something clicked when they met and both felt drawn to learn more about each other…
Let’s just say these newlywed portraits from their Maui venue wedding is the start of their next chapter together as husband and wife, far beyond the theatre where they met all those years ago. And how happy do they look in these photographs!? Joy looks so radiant in her flowy, lace gown…and Ryan is very sharp and dapper in his linen suit! This sandy beige is a favorite color of ours for a beach wedding…
