In the days coming up to their wedding, Madison and Austin felt excited, nervous, and relieved. Most importantly, they were in love! This visit was Madison’s first time on the island. Thankfully, Austin has vacationed in Maui dozens of times with his family. Our groom knew this destination would be the perfect place to tie the knot. The Dreamy Hawaii Venue Wedding

Madison and Austin’s story began when they met online while living in a small college town. At the time, Austin was attending Graduate school, and Madison worked at a local nursing home. When they met in person, they knew they’d found the one! They quickly moved in together and became inseparable.

Our charming couple originally planned to visit Maui in July 2020. However, COVID made them cancel those plans. Instead, Austin’s family decided they should take a group trip to the Oregon Coast. Unknown to Madison, Austin coordinated to have her loved ones join them at this destination. Then, Austin surprised Madison with the beach proposal of her dreams! After getting engaged in such a magical manner — a Hawaii venue wedding is an exquisite way to get married!

Currently, Madison is a nursing home director, while Austin is a school psychologist. Although they don’t have kids, they have a beloved Boston Terrier named Gracie. In their free time, you can find them enjoying tennis or golf, watching football, or exploring the Pacific Northwest!

Chris and Jaekyeong’s Maui Destination Wedding at King Kamehameha Golf Club was absolutely stunning! Dellabes Floral Design created a breathtaking custom bouquet and two delicate floral arrangements to decorate the bamboo arch. Our beautiful couple got to the venue together. However, Chris didn’t see Jaekyeong in her dress because she changed upon arrival! After our dapper groom helped his mothers to their seats, he took his spot at the front of the ceremony. Then, the remainder of the wedding processional walked down the lawn. The adorable flower girl and handsome ring bearer were first! Next, Chaeyeong and Kyle glided down the aisle. Then it was the maid of honor, Ive, and the best man, Corbin’s turn. Finally, our Jaekyeong made her grand entrance with her father by her side!

Jaekyeong is a gorgeous bride! Her gown is classic and elegant — it pairs perfectly with her chic styling by Simply Beauty Maui. Chris looks sharp in his grey suit! We like how his light blue tie and boutonniere add a soft touch to his sophisticated look. Most importantly, the delicate colors in their attire contrast flawlessly with their leis! Oli & Mele – About This Maui Beach Elopement

Reverend Kuya officiated Paula & Mike’s ceremony. He included traditional Hawaiian elements, like the blowing of the Pu (conch shell), a blessing over them (an oli), and the exchange of lei. He brought both humor and heartfelt sentiment to the wedding, and it honestly seemed like he had known Paula & Mike for years.

Paula surprised Mike by having an ukulele musician at the ceremony — he loved it. Chayce played the sweet mele (songs) and stuck around to chat with Mike, who plays ukulele in a band with his friends back home in Oregon.

Better Together – About This Couple

Paula & Mike are semi-retired and are proud parents and grandparents. Fate brought them together when they both decided to go out on a limb and make a Match.com profile. Love blossomed and ushered them into a happily ever after!

They enjoy cooking, entertaining, and wine tasting. They visit Hawaii quite often, but they usually are on Oahu. So Maui was a special vacation for these sweethearts, and they were enjoying every moment. The Maui Beach Elopement was just one part of their romantic getaway.

Paula & Mike have been together for eight years, so they shared many memories. We think the best is still ahead of them, though. As they stood together as newlyweds, looking off to the horizon, they saw a great future full of ever-growing love and joy. We’re so glad we got to be a part of this core memory!

Maluaka Beach served as the location for Tania & Steven’s Vow Renewal. We love this spot! It has dramatic black lava rock, lush greenery, and beautiful blue water. You can usually catch views of Kaho‘olawe and the West Maui Mountains in the distance, and the sunsets here are amazing.

Cari and Simon wanted their special day to be simple, memorable, and beautiful! When choosing locations, they decided the landscapes at Ironwoods Beach would be a breathtaking backdrop. Not to mention, this West Maui spot has an exquisite sunset — it made their wedding feel romantic and dreamy!

The Intimate Beach Wedding in Maui

However, the people who attended their wedding was one of the most significant aspects of their sunset affair! Cari and Simon have a blended family. Simon has two sixteen and fourteen-year-old sons. Then Cari has a twenty-two-year-old son, two seventeen and eighteen-year-old daughters, and a granddaughter. Since our charming couple joined households in Summer 2021, they knew they couldn’t celebrate their love without every member in attendance!

Our Couple’s Story

Cari and Simon’s story began when they met at work. They were a great team with beautiful chemistry who conquered any problem coming their way! Then Cari and Simon realized they weren’t just good professional colleagues — but our passionate pair were also compatible life partners! 

Our stunning couple got engaged while planning their trip to Hawaii! Cari and Simon knew having a Maui beach wedding during their vacation would be the perfect time to tie the knot. As they were organizing their vacation, Cari asked Simon if he’d marry her — he said yes! Then one Sunday afternoon, Simon proposed traditionally. After shopping for rings, Simon got down on one knee with his two boys by his side and popped the question!
