It’s the cusp of summer, and love is in the air, so we can’t help but feel giddy and happy for Kaitlyn and Peter! This lovely couple met in medical school, and their love story continued to blossom when Peter surprised Kaitlyn with a proposal at a photoshoot in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris. How romantic is that?

But the romance didn’t stop there. Last year, they visited Maui and fell in love with the tropical paradise. So, they thought, why not get married here? They wanted something simple and elegant that reflected their love and commitment to each other. And most importantly, a day that was just for them! So, we were beyond delighted to bring their vision for their Maui beach wedding to life!

The setting could not have been more perfect than the beautiful Maluaka Beach on Maui’s South Shore, which provided a magical and tropical setting for their vows! Kaitlyn looked gorgeous in her lace gown with an elegant train, and Peter looked dapper in his classic black suit. Even though it was a relaxed ceremony on the beach, they were a sight to behold!

They both looked incredibly happy and their love shone through our lens, especially through the laughter and smiles! They are a lovely couple inside and out!

The sunset was breathtakingly beautiful and added a touch of romance to their already special day. It was as if the island was sending them off with a blessing into married life in a riot of colors! These two love traveling and exploring new places together, but Maui will forever hold a special place in their hearts. The warm sun, the fresh ocean breeze, and the soothing sound of the waves created a beautiful atmosphere that amplified the romance in the air… They couldn’t help but want to dance and soak in the moment’s magic!

We love a gorgeous Gannon’s Wedding! So when April & Connor reached out to book our Maui Wedding Venue package there, we were so excited!

These two know how to create a meaningful and joyful celebration. They brought along their immediate family, their all-star style, and their romantic energy. And it all came together in the most beautiful way!

Dreamy Greens and Sweet Pastels

One of our favorite things about any Gannon’s Wedding is the stunning backdrop. You get the rich greens of the Wailea hillside and the glistening ocean in the distance. April & Connor decided to accent this natural beauty by adding a circle arch with lush tropical greenery. It created the perfect frame for their swift and heartfelt ceremony.

April also chose our Pastel Rustic Hawaiian bouquet. This one-of-a-kind creation features in-season florals that are grown here on Maui.

Then, as the sun began setting, it was like the sky drew colors straight from her bouquet. The horizon lit up with dreamy pastels straight out of a storybook. It was the perfect ending for a perfect wedding, though the newlyweds still had lots of celebrating to do!

After their Gannon’s Wedding ceremony and beach portraits, they met their family at the Grand Wailea for a delicious dinner. And then it was time to honeymoon! These two had such a fun vacation ahead of them!

Though we only spent a few hours with April & Connor, we felt honored to meet them. They’re an incredible couple who aim to share joy any chance they get. This radiated throughout their Maui Destination Wedding, and it shines in each of their photos.

A Complete Gallery for a Gannon’s Wedding

Gannon’s Restaurant is on a hillside that overlooks the ocean and Wailea shoreline. You could have a complete couple’s photoshoot on the grounds of the venue, since there are so many great backdrops to enjoy.

But if you have enough photo time booked, you can also visit the nearby beach for even more portraits. April & Connor were sure to plan on great beach portraits after their Gannon’s Wedding. This gives them a full photo gallery with a strong sense of place. You can really see that they’re on Maui.

From the hillside to the sea, these two made the most of their Maui wedding day, and we’re so glad we could be a part of it!

A beach wedding in Maui is always a great idea! You get to have a simple yet meaningful ceremony, and the island’s natural surroundings provide the best backdrop.

Ryan & Silvia understood the draw, and that’s why they chose to marry in Maui. So on a bright May morning, we met these two on the shores of Poʻolenalena Beach for a memorable celebration. It was so much fun, and we’re honored we could be their Maui wedding coordinator.

An Early Start

We typically offer our Maui wedding packages in the morning or at sunset. Both are beautiful in their own way and offer a unique experience.

Ryan & Silvia chose a morning beach wedding in Maui, which suited this bright, adventurous couple. The beaches tend to be less busy in the morning, and it leaves the rest of the day to relax and celebrate.

But it does make for an early wake-up call. Ryan and the guests began arriving at the beach before 8 AM, and Silvia made her grand entrance a few minutes later. That means she was up before the sun, preparing her picture-perfect bridal look and anxiously awaiting the moment when she said “I Do.”

These two look great no matter what, but we especially loved seeing their amazing wedding style, which looked great at this beach wedding in Maui.

Another unique thing about morning weddings is how the photos look. The Karma Hill Team can really capture the blues in the ocean and the sky, and the greens of the trees stand out. It’s a bright, tropical look for couples who love the vibrancy of Hawaii.

Tradition & Originality at a Beach Wedding in Maui

When you get married in Hawaii, you get a lot of flexibility. After all, there are likely fewer guests to impress and less pressure to do things the same way as everybody else. You’re getting married in a unique spot, so you can choose elements that are true to you, even if it’s different from other weddings.

But you can also be as traditional as you want. Ryan & Silvia still included a grand entrance onto the beach, and they had a cake cutting after their ceremony. They wore formal wedding attire with a tropical touch, and took portraits that really showcased their style.

We’re impressed by how they balance tradition with originality, creating a beach wedding in Maui that was true to who they are.

Every couple who gets married in Maui has a unique story — a special journey that led them to each other. For Colleen & Donald, their love story begins 40 years ago, when they were teens. This was before they had kids and careers. They were just kids themselves, and they met at work.

They had no idea back then what the future held, that one day they would marry each other in one of Earth’s most beautiful places.

From the 80s to the 21st Century

When Colleen & Donald met, they had no idea what a dating app was. But it ended up being responsible for their eventual reunion and romance.

That’s right, these two matched online — a perfect match if we do say so!

But they also have a lot to show for that time apart. Between them, they have five incredible kids who are blossoming into the most impressive young adults. And they were all there to cheer them on when they got married in Maui!

They also had great careers, and AJ is thoroughly enjoying his retirement. Here’s hoping that Colleen can join him with more free time soon!

They stay busy, so getting away and getting married in Maui was an easy choice. With their kids by their side and the glistening ocean around them, these two vowed to love and cherish each other forever.

We loved being a part of this Maui beach wedding and are so happy for these two love birds!

Time to Get Married in Maui

Though Colleen & Donald stay busy with work, kids, and hobbies, they always make time for each other. Still, this time in Hawaii with each other and their families was such a treat. Free from distractions and appointments, they were free to simply enjoy.

We could tell they were having the best time during their vacation, and once it was time to get married in Maui, they were relaxed and joyful.

This is the kind of energy we love to see, and it makes our job a breeze! They’re totally photogenic and incredibly kind.

We were really looking forward to Candice & Jordan’s Maui Beach Wedding — and it did not disappoint! Lahaina Shores served as the spectacular setting, with calm blue waters and a pastel sunset sky. And Reverend Kuya’s heartfelt ceremony warmed us like the tropical sun.

But the best part of this Hawaii Destination Wedding? The Couple! Candice and Jordan are absolute sweethearts, and we couldn’t get enough of their romantic and joyful spirit.

A Grand Arrival for a Memorable Ceremony

Candice and Jordan arrived separately to Lahaina Shores Beach. Though their wedding had a relaxed vibe, they still wanted to include some traditional elements. So they didn’t see each other until the ceremony began — until Candice made a glistening entrance onto the beach.

As Maui Beach Wedding Coordinators, we get asked about this a lot. Couples want to know if they can include some of these traditions, like special entrances or custom vows. And we say, absolutely!

With the thoughtful guidance of their onsite coordinator Rebecca and Reverend Kuya, this darling couple enjoyed that show-stopping arrival that will endure as a core memory throughout their lives.

And their Karma Hill photographer was there to capture it all — the adoring smile on Jordan’s face, the sweet moments of the ceremony, and the much-awaited moment when they’re finally pronounced husband and wife. Incredible memories from a simple yet elegant Maui beach wedding!

The Portraits & The Details

Once Candice & Jordan were officially a married couple, it was time for them to soak it all in. This meant getting some incredible portraits around Lahaina Shores Beach. We adore this time during Maui Beach Weddings. It’s a chance for the couple to get some alone time while taking in their stunning surroundings. Plus, they’re able to get a gallery of portraits that will forever serve as a time capsule to this day.

So we took this perfect pair all around the beach. Into the surf-town-style shopping plaza by the shoreline, under the swaying palm trees, and into the grassy park that lines the sand. We got detailed shots of Candice’s gown and her tropical bouquet, and little candid moments that define the couple’s romance.

And it all led up to a spectacular sunset! The Maui sky took on a pastel golden hue as the sun dipped into the water, marking the end of their wedding day but the start of their forever.

When we arrived on Henry and Stephanie’s big day, we were greeted with the gentle sound of the waves, a bright and sunny morning in Maui. We knew it was going to be a special day! As their Maui elopement coordinators, we were thrilled to be a part of their magic and what their wedding day had in store!

From the moment they arrived, we could feel the love and excitement in the air. Henry and Stephanie’s relaxed wedding was a joyful celebration of their commitment to each other, full of love and light! It brought out the playfulness and pure joy that they so profoundly radiated. A Day For Us

Their Maui elopement ceremony was held at Lahaina Shores, a favorite location of ours that provides astonishing views of the harbor boats in the distance. Henry and Stephanie exchanged their vows under the bright Hawaiian sun, creating a moment that will remain a sacred memory for them in years to come…

Stephanie was breathtaking with a haku pastel-colored flower crown that complemented her breezy bohemian beachy gown! We love the sheer details…the total look had us in awe! Henry looks effortlessly cool and relaxed in a crisp white button up…

I’ll Walk With You Forever

The first thing (and the only thing to do in our minds!) as “Just Maui’d”newlyweds is to take a stroll on the beach! Our happy newlyweds walked hand in hand, savoring the beauty and joy of the moment. Their Maui elopement newlywed portraits are full of light and airiness thanks to the bright morning sun. We love how incredibly happy and in love they look in these photographs! Even though it was just the two of them, it was still very romantic….even more so with the beauty of paradise surrounding them! Pure bliss…

When Kelsey and Naj decided they wanted to tie the knot in Hawaii, they knew they wanted a beautiful, elegant, and memorable destination wedding. They had never been to Maui before, but they trusted our company, Simple Maui Wedding, to make their dream come true! The morning of their Maui destination wedding was absolutely perfect! The sun was shining bright, and Maluaka Beach was a picturesque location for their ceremony. Our couple radiated joy and energy, as did the entire wedding party, who were all thrilled to celebrate this special moment with them!

Quality time with family was an important part of their special day, and we could feel the love and joy in the air. It was evident that everyone was enjoying each other’s company and celebrating the couple’s union!

I’ll Go Anywhere With You – Maui Destination Wedding

As we captured their newlywed portraits on the beach, Kelsey and Naj could barely contain their excitement for their future together. They are lost in each other’s gaze in these photographs! You can see the deep love they share in every embrace and kiss. Our lovebirds were surrounded by beautiful palm trees, which added a touch of tropical elegance to their modern beachy celebration!

Kelsey took our breath away (and Naj’s!) in her sleek gown with her pastel blooms! They are so springy and fresh! Naj is equally handsome and casual cool in his sand colored three peice suit – very dapper!

Overall, their big day was a beautiful and lighthearted celebration that truly reflected Kelsey and Naj’s personalities and love. We were thrilled to be a part of their love story and wish them both all the happiness and love for the future. Congratulations, Kelsey and Naj!

“When we saw the Simple Maui Wedding Instagram, we fell in love with your weddings! That’s when we knew we wanted to get Maui’d,” Itzel said before their big day! After working together for years, it was only in 2020 did Alex and Janna realize there was something more. Fast forward years later, and they are now tying the knot at their Maui elopement! It was a simple and elegant affair, surrounded by close friends and family under the bright morning sun. When Janna visited Maui, she knew she wanted to get married in Hawaii! Our talented team of wedding coordinators made that dream possible for both of them, as you’ll see below!

The Best Morning

It was a bright blue sunny morning at Polo Beach for their intimate Maui elopement, making their wedding photos vibrant and colorful! Morning ceremonies are generally brighter and bolder due to the clear and intense sun. But our lovely couple was so excited to get married right on the beach first thing in the morning! We love how Janna and Alex chose nontraditional colors like lilac and deep green (with white, of course!)for their wedding attire; they complemented each other beautifully. The only missing guests were their furry “kids” back at home!

With many cheers, laughs, and hugs, our happy newlyweds walked further down the beach for some more intimate portraits with just the two of them. Janna and Alex are completely wrapped up in the romance of the moment in these photos, with the tropical setting in the distance…Thankfully, they had each other by their side to walk across the lava rocks to look out to the sea…and their future!

After 16 years of marriage, Jess and Virginia wanted to reaffirm their vows while on vacation with their three beautiful girls. Their Maui vow renewal was sweet and simple and, most importantly, just for them… what could be more romantic than that? Family Orientated & Stress-Free

Jess and Virginia have always loved the Hawaiian islands for their peace and natural beauty. So when they were planning their vacation to Maui, they felt like it was the perfect timing to renew their vows! The rocky cliffs and blue waters of Ironwoods Beach provided a stunning backdrop for their vow exchange. Sheltered by the dramatic cliffs, it was a little pocket of paradise just for them. Believe it or not, on their actual wedding day, they had over 450+ guests and a church service, so this felt peaceful and the complete opposite in the best way, less stressful as you can imagine! Thankfully, there wasn’t any to be found, thanks to our team of wedding coordinators! So their Maui vow renewal felt just right – just for them in their own way…

It was also such a beautiful sight to see their three girls as little bridesmaids! They looked so adorable in their matching green dresses and bouquets! Seeing them participate in their parent’s ceremony with big smiles…

After their heartfelt vows and many hugs and kisses from their girls, we walked up to the cliffs for a few more romantic moments. They look happier than ever in these photographs, don’t they? These will be wonderful memories to carry into many more married years ahead!

What a wonderful way to start the day by tying the knot on the beach like Jennifer and John at their recent Maui beach wedding! But before we share these beautiful highlights from their day, here is a little backstory on how these lovebirds met…Jennifer and John met at the gym and started working out together. Although, after some time, they realized there was something more than just sharing a weight or a workout! Now they have a family with Jen’s two boys and their sweet daughter. Kid Friendly Celebration

Their Maui beach wedding began on a beautiful morning at Southside Beach with their nearest and dearest…including their three kids! It was a heartful and family-orientated ceremony, which is exactly what they hoped for on their special day. It was so sweet to see their beautiful daughter Harley, 3, serve as their flower girl who was happy to be in mama’s arms! Everyone was so excited to be there under the bright sunshine to honor this happy couple…

Our happy newlyweds opted for our “Just Maui’d” sign for a few beach portraits! And as the sign says, Jen and John looked effortless and at ease on the beach. Jen’s lace gown was elegant yet beachy with a sultry slit on the side. A true natural beauty! John couldn’t stop smiling at his beautiful bride…

Bright Maui Mornings

Since their Maui beach ceremony began in the early morning, the colors and light of their photos turned out so vibrant and bright! The bright greens, turquoise ocean, gold sand, and pink confection of Jen’s blooms radiated in the bright sunshine. So, if you are planning to get married on the beach in the morning, do keep in mind that the sun can be very strong (and hot!) but no less beautiful! And as you’ll see, they were ready to share a kiss and a few splashes in the clear water…
