Showered With Love

Hawaii holds a special place in Kali and Nick’s hearts as it was where their first real vacation together took place. The enchantment of the islands left a lasting impression, igniting a desire to return and create new memories. Wanting to share the beauty and magic of Hawaii with their loved ones, they embarked on their dream wedding journey.

Two years prior to their engagement, Kali stumbled upon our Simple Maui Wedding website, which instantly captivated her. The bookmark on her phone served as a constant reminder of her dream wedding. And now, that dream of a Maui beach wedding was becoming a reality! The anticipation and excitement grew as each detail fell into place, thanks to our skilled coordinators and team!

Kali and Nick’s relationship dates back to their grade school days. Although they were acquaintances for many years, it wasn’t until they crossed paths at Planet Fitness in 2017 that they recognized the potential for something more. After just two dates, they knew they had found their perfect match. Fast forward to February 3, 2022, when they privately exchanged their engagement vows in their first apartment, marking the beginning of an exciting chapter in their lives!

The stage was set for Kali and Nick’s vows on the stunning Po’olenalena Beach in Maui. The morning sun painted the sky a vibrant blue, making the colors of their special day pop with a radiant glow. The brightness of the morning added an extra level of energy and life to their wedding photography.

A Maui destination wedding is many couples’ dream, one we take complete pride and joy in bringing to life for beautiful couples like Cassidy and Grant! Cassidy had always dreamed of getting married in Maui… so we were honored to be able to coordinate their special day for them. They wanted a relaxing, enjoyable, carefree, beautiful, and unforgettable celebration – and that’s exactly what their big day was!

First, a little backstory on our lovely pair… Cassidy and Grant are high school sweethearts; they met four years ago and got engaged under Christmas lights last December! Very romantic. Their love story is as sweet as can be, and it was a delight to begin their journey with them as husband and wife!

Rustic & Beautiful

Their Maui destination wedding was beautiful and intimate, with a Hawaiian vibe at its core. They tied the knot at Rustic Hawaiian Ruins, Trinity-By-The-Sea, an old church dating back to the 1800s! The coral brick walls surrounding the altar of this outdoor chapel feel rustic yet dreamy, with tropical palms all around. So it’s the perfect mix of a tropical venue yet with a beachy feel! It was just what they had hoped for, and we loved how the light filtered through the setting; it was bright and airy and oh so Hawaiian...

Finally, after they said their “I do’s,” we took our lovely newlyweds to the beach for some portraits! It was a bright, sunny morning, creating a happy atmosphere perfect for capturing the moment’s joy. “Hawaii Is Special To Us”

Before awing over their big day, let’s share a little backstory of our beautiful pair! Our happy couple met at a party through friends. There was an instant connection, and sparks flew…Their engagement was just as special – they got engaged in Kauai on a dinner cruise off the Napali coast! They love Hawaii, and it will forever be a cherished place in their love story.

Their Maui beach wedding was a beautiful bright morning; they couldn’t have asked for a clearer day! The natural beauty of the island is all the decor they need! The water, the white sand, and the sound of the gentle waves at Maluaka Beach enhanced the dreamy atmosphere…

As you can see, morning weddings on the beach are particularly special since the colors tend to be brighter and more vivid in the morning light. Generally, there isn’t much cloud cover, so the sunshine can be very bright, casting a sunny glow over everything and creating a happy atmosphere! This warm and inviting light makes every moment feel magical, from exchanging vows to the first kiss as newlyweds like Malia and Jared!

The happy pair soaked up all the love and joy of their special day as they walked further down the beach for their newlywed portraits. Malia looks exquisite in her all-white bridal look in contrast to the tropical blues! And we love the velvet touches of Jared’s attire; it added a little luxe and elegance to their relaxed beachy celebration…they make a beautiful pair!

Malia and Jared’s special day was a joy to be a part of! We wish them both a lifetime of love and happiness together – just as bright and beautiful as the morning sunshine on their special day!

A beach wedding in Maui is always a great idea! You get to have a simple yet meaningful ceremony, and the island’s natural surroundings provide the best backdrop.

Ryan & Silvia understood the draw, and that’s why they chose to marry in Maui. So on a bright May morning, we met these two on the shores of Poʻolenalena Beach for a memorable celebration. It was so much fun, and we’re honored we could be their Maui wedding coordinator.

An Early Start

We typically offer our Maui wedding packages in the morning or at sunset. Both are beautiful in their own way and offer a unique experience.

Ryan & Silvia chose a morning beach wedding in Maui, which suited this bright, adventurous couple. The beaches tend to be less busy in the morning, and it leaves the rest of the day to relax and celebrate.

But it does make for an early wake-up call. Ryan and the guests began arriving at the beach before 8 AM, and Silvia made her grand entrance a few minutes later. That means she was up before the sun, preparing her picture-perfect bridal look and anxiously awaiting the moment when she said “I Do.”

These two look great no matter what, but we especially loved seeing their amazing wedding style, which looked great at this beach wedding in Maui.

Another unique thing about morning weddings is how the photos look. The Karma Hill Team can really capture the blues in the ocean and the sky, and the greens of the trees stand out. It’s a bright, tropical look for couples who love the vibrancy of Hawaii.

Tradition & Originality at a Beach Wedding in Maui

When you get married in Hawaii, you get a lot of flexibility. After all, there are likely fewer guests to impress and less pressure to do things the same way as everybody else. You’re getting married in a unique spot, so you can choose elements that are true to you, even if it’s different from other weddings.

But you can also be as traditional as you want. Ryan & Silvia still included a grand entrance onto the beach, and they had a cake cutting after their ceremony. They wore formal wedding attire with a tropical touch, and took portraits that really showcased their style.

We’re impressed by how they balance tradition with originality, creating a beach wedding in Maui that was true to who they are.
