After working together for years, it was only in 2020 did Alex and Janna realize there was something more. Fast forward years later, and they are now tying the knot at their Maui elopement! It was a simple and elegant affair, surrounded by close friends and family under the bright morning sun. When Janna visited Maui, she knew she wanted to get married in Hawaii! Our talented team of wedding coordinators made that dream possible for both of them, as you’ll see below!

It was a bright blue sunny morning at Polo Beach for their intimate Maui elopement, making their wedding photos vibrant and colorful! Morning ceremonies are generally brighter and bolder due to the clear and intense sun. But our lovely couple was so excited to get married right on the beach first thing in the morning! We love how Janna and Alex chose nontraditional colors like lilac and deep green (with white, of course!)for their wedding attire; they complemented each other beautifully. The only missing guests were their furry “kids” back at home!

With many cheers, laughs, and hugs, our happy newlyweds walked further down the beach for some more intimate portraits with just the two of them. Janna and Alex are completely wrapped up in the romance of the moment in these photos, with the tropical setting in the distance…Thankfully, they had each other by their side to walk across the lava rocks to look out to the sea…and their future!

Congratulations, Alex and Janna! It was a joy to coordinate your big day! May you have many more years of love, laughter, and peace together!

Sometimes simplicity is best when it comes to tying the knot in paradise! The raw, natural beauty of the island provides all the decor you need, which you’ll see in Brad and Brice’s Maui elopement photos below! It was a beautiful celebration of love and commitment, focusing solely on the bond they share with each other. The couple opted for an elegant, simple ceremony that allowed them to express their heartfelt vows on one of the most beautiful islands in the world! Keeping reading to see how their big day unfolded with a spectacular sunset show…

Their intimate beach Maui elopement took place at the beautiful Polo Beach, which provided the perfect backdrop for the couple’s casual celebration. As the sun began to set, the sky turned shades of orange, red, and magenta – creating a breathtaking scene that radiated love and light over our happy newlyweds.
The couple wanted their big day to be all about their love for each other and kept things minimalistic yet meaningful. They exchanged heartfelt vows that will undoubtedly carry them in the years ahead!

After their intimate ceremony, we went around the lava rocks and natural tide pools for their newlywed portraits. Thankfully they didn’t get splashed by a rogue wave! The juxtaposition of the sunset against the natural beauty of Polo Beach made for some truly stunning photographs that will serve as timeless reminders of this special day… Maui really put on a show for our happy newlyweds!

How incredible are these photos!? The sky in these photos is surreal! The orange, magenta, and golden tones added to the romance in the air. It was such an honor to share this amazing moment with Brad and Brice!

Congratulations to Brad and Brice! We wish you all the happiness and love in the future! May it be just as bright and colorful as this incredible sunset!

Our happy couple took a vacation together to Maui in August of 2021, and it was on this trip that Morgan proposed to Audrey! (We also had the honor to capture their proposal back in 2021!) The two of them have always loved being around the water and, in Morgan’s words, “If it doesn’t have a beach, it’s not a real vacation!” So, when they visited Maui, they immediately fell in love with the island’s way of life and knew they wanted a Maui destination wedding! Keep reading to see how their dream wedding unfolded!

Our beautiful pair, originally from Texas, knew they wanted to have a destination wedding when they began their initial planning. And a Maui one is even better! Their friends and family, naturally, were so excited to make the trip (vacation!) and be able to share their Maui destination wedding with them. And they were not disappointed!
Their gorgeous wedding took place at Merriman’s Kapalua, right by the water. This location is ideal if you want the best of both worlds – picturesque views by the water and ceremony seating! However, what was most eye-catching during their ceremony was the stunning driftwood arch with tropical blooms…

As you can see, many made the journey for their Maui destination wedding! There’s nothing quite like celebrating with those you love most on your big day…and what a colorful bunch too! The vibrant and tropical colors were so fun to photograph!

Their first newlywed’s portraits were breathtaking as the sun slowly dimmed on the horizon. Audrey’s glittery, embroidered gown sparkled in the sunlight! And Morgan’s floral suit was also eye-catching and refreshing! Who can say no to a floral suit!?
These two were completely entranced in the moment’s magic, as you can see in these intimate portraits. The sound of the waves in the distance and the sun’s glow shining down on them added to Maui’s magical touch in their romantic love story!

We feel really privileged to have been a part of your love story, from the very first proposal photographs we took to coordinating your wedding! We hope you come visit again soon!

Recently, we had the greatest pleasure of capturing Destiny and Amanda’s Maui venue wedding! They couldn’t contain their excitement about their special day! So, naturally, our adventurous pair wanted a relaxed and intimate ceremony with their closest friends and family. Please keep reading to see the highlights of their lovely day…

Our beautiful brides are a dual military couple who love to hike, camp, fish, and adventure in the great outdoors! They love spending quality time together – it’s lovely to see how much they enjoy the same activities! Amanda’s family is native Chamorro from Guam, actually! Destiny is from the mainland, so it was a real treat for her family to visit Hawaii, as you can imagine. We rarely meet people who wouldn’t want a holiday in Maui! So Hawaii was the perfect location to meet halfway in the middle for their Maui venue wedding!

There were many tears and laughs during their initmate ceremony. Our beautiful couple were showered with love, warmth, and well wishes the entire day!

Our gorgeous pair opted for traditional Hawaiian leis of white orchids – so elegant!

They dreamed of a modern, simple, and relaxed Maui venue wedding, and we think they got just that! For their ceremony, they chose the grassy lawn of Gannon’s. We love this location in particular because it was sweeping views of South Maui and the ocean, as you can see! Its privacy also made it a prime choice for our gorgeous brides…

After the warm wishes of congratulations from their friends and family, we walked to a secluded area to capture their first married moments!

Since they haven’t explored Hawaii, this was an extraordinary occasion for our newlyweds! We love that they embraced their stunning wedding gowns’ easy, breezy look. The flowing nature and tropical details made them look like ethereal goddesses! As they walked hand in hand, they were so happy to start their new life together with many adventures ahead!

From all of us at Simple Maui Wedding, a huge mahalo for choosing us for your Maui venue wedding! We want to wish you both the very best on your new journey together! We hope to see you in paradise again soon! Much aloha…

Ted & Jeremy had such a nice, relaxed wedding in Maui. We met them just before sunset at beautiful Maluaka Beach, where they held hands, shared vows, and became husband and husband. They were so kind to work with, and we’re grateful we could coordinate this special day for them.
Check out some of their Maui Wedding photos below and join us in congratulating the newlyweds!

Ted & Jeremy are Chicago residents who love visiting Maui. They enjoy the slower pace, the great weather, and the chance to escape their busy Chicago lives.
Recently, they’ve especially enjoyed talking with Maui locals and residents, learning about the island’s history, and appreciating Hawaiian culture. So their Hawaii-inspired ceremony with Reverend Richardo was a great chance to affirm their love of island traditions.
The two handsome grooms exchanged lei with each other and then presented flower lei to each of their guests. They had a small group of family and friends with them — they were all excited to be a part of a wedding in Maui!

Ted & Jeremy incorporated beachy florals into their ceremony as well. Dellables created two arrangements made of spiraling driftwood, small globes, and romantic flowers. Their female guests wore sandy neutral tones, which went perfectly with their ivory and blush arrangements.
After their ceremony, Karma Hill Photography captured some super dreamy couples portraits around the beach. We scheduled their wedding and portraits with golden hour, so they got glowy shots as the sun set over the ocean.
Throughout their wedding in Maui, Ted & Jeremy were romantic and playful, always ready to joke around and share a kiss — just the kind of couple we love working with!

After their ceremony and portraits, Ted & Jeremy were off to the Four Seasons, where they had dinner reservations with their guests. The restaurants at the resort are a great place to celebrate any special occasion, but especially a wedding!
But their celebrations aren’t limited to their wedding in Maui! Soon these two will have a full reception back in Chicago, so they still have a lot to look forward to.
And while we were bummed to see our time with them at the beach come to a close, we know they’ll be returning to Maui soon to soak up the sun, bask in their romantic bliss, and learn even more about our island home!

Congratulations, Ted & Jeremy! Thank you so much for choosing us as your Hawaii wedding coordinator! Sending you lots of aloha!

Some couples prefer to elope rather than have a grand wedding. Hawaii is the perfect place for an intimate and tranquil ceremony. When Polo and Kevin told us they wanted to have a Maui beach elopement, we knew this event would be breathtaking! The sun was beginning to set over the sandy shoreline. Then our charming pair was surrounded by the island’s striking scenery. Continue scrolling to experience this event for yourself.

Our charming couple eloped on the sandy shores of Maluaka Beach! This location is a serene destination just south of Wailea. We love this spot because it has a long sandy shoreline and exquisite sunsets! Surrounding the seaside are beautiful natural landscapes; the epic lava rocks, sapphire waves, and lush greenery are our favorite backgrounds. Although there were heavy clouds in the sky, they didn’t stop the sun from shining brilliantly! It created the perfect ambiance for this event.

Polo and Kevin arrived at the ceremony shoreline together! They’re wearing comfortable but beachy attire. We like how sophisticated their black shorts and white button-up shirts look. In addition, we adore their custom leis! Polo and Kevin made their elopement unique to them by getting creating a floral arrangement perfect for them. They added white orchids, tuberoses, and a few different types of yellow flowers to their ti leaf leis! These delicate hues complemented the neutral tones in their attire flawlessly.

After Reverend Joe Miles pronounces Polo and Kevins as husbands, it was time for their photo session! Tenessa from Karma Hill Photography effortlessly captured our delightful duo’s first moments. You can tell they’re savoring their Maui beach elopement! Above all, we love how these radiant newlyweds are — especially since you can tell they’re having the time of their lives.

Congratulations, Polo and Kevin! Thank you for sharing this intimate moment with us. We wish you a future full of love, abundance, and success!

Jolleen & Kalyn’s Maui Destination Wedding was picture-perfect. The weather was terrific, the brides were beautiful, and everyone was full of joy. Lahaina Shores Beach provided a gorgeous setting for the ceremony, and afterward we got portraits along the shoreline.
We are so excited to share these incredible photos with our newlyweds!

Jolleen & Kalyn each had a unique style that perfectly complemented each other. Kalyn dazzled in a vintage-inspired wedding dress with our Maui Elegance Bouquet. Jolleen rocked a bridal jumpsuit and included pastel colors in her Rustic Hawaiian bouquet. Individually, they looked amazing. Together, they looked like a tropical dream.
But their look wasn’t complete yet! Rev. Kuya led them in a traditional lei exchange, so they offered each other strands of fresh orchids during the ceremony. This was a sweet moment, and it also added extra tropical flair to their A+ bridal style!

Jolleen & Kalyn met back in 2018 when they both swiped right for each other. What started as flirty Tinder chats evolved into a life-long romance. They now have a home together and are parents to three dogs and two cats. While they sometimes feel like they’re running a zoo, they wouldn’t have it any other way!
Once they got engaged in 2020, Jolleen & Kalyn began planning a Maui Destination Wedding. While they each had visited Hawaii before, this was their first visit together. It was a great location for their wedding and a much-deserved vacation for these hard-working nurses!

Karma Hill Photography captured Jolleen & Kalyn’s ceremony and portraits. Maui is always breath-taking, but this was an extra pretty evening. Combine that with two absolutely gorgeous brides, and you have a photography session that is simply amazing.
We could have stayed on the beach with Jolleen & Kalyn for ages, but the sun finally set, and the pair had to start celebrating with their family. So we wished them a warm aloha and looked forward to this moment, when we could share the images captured on their special day!

In November of 2019, Marissa and Gloria got engaged! After almost two years, in 2021, they planned a trip to Hawaii. When deciding where they wanted to get married, they couldn’t think of a better place to tie the knot! Above all, their Maui elopement was intimate and romantic. Continue scrolling to experience this event for yourself.

Po’olenalena Beach set the scene for this event, and the sweeping landscapes created a stunning backdrop! Surrounding our lovely couple are lofty palm trees, striking lava rocks, and foamy cerulean waves. Although there were silky clouds above them — they enhanced the dreamy ambiance. Then, as the sun sets on the horizon, you’ll see a spectrum of pastel hues painting the sky! We couldn’t have asked for a more magical background for this elopement!

Marissa and Gloria’s special day is relaxing, simple, and beautiful. On the days leading up to this event, our charming couple was full of nothing but excitement and love! Our brides arrived at the shore together — both wearing elegant attire. You can see how flawlessly their chic outfits pair with their white flower leis. Most importantly, their matching Rustic Hawaiian Bouquets by Dellables added the perfect touch of soft shades to their looks!

Our gorgeous couple met one another on the first day of their new job with U.S. Customs and Border Protection. They instantly clicked during their four months at the academy. Since then, they’ve been inseparable! In 2019, they got engaged in Houston, Texas. Currently, they’ve been together for six years! They’re both U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers stationed in South Texas. When they’re not working, you can find them traveling and trying different foods. We hope they got to taste the delicious cuisine Hawaii has to offer after their Maui elopement!

Kristen and Kaylyn’s Maui beach wedding was beautiful in so many ways. With just family watching on and the panoramic view of the ocean in the backdrop, this day was beyond special. From a surprise beach-clearing event that left just the wedding party on the shore to a bursting sunset, this was truly a blessed occasion.

Reverend Kuya opened the Maui beach wedding with the traditional blowing of the conch shell. Wearing gowns that complemented each other, Kristen and Kaylyn were visions on the beach. The day was windy, which added gorgeous movement to their trains. Shortly after the sweet ceremony, the sky opened up and it began to rain. It was a brief sprinkling, but it caused the beachgoers to pack up and leave. The result was a beach just to ourselves.

Kristen and Kaylyn are both veterinarians and met on the job. Their connection was instant, but their love blossomed with time. Kaylyn asked Kristen to marry her during a romantic picnic at a national park in Ohio. She hid the ring in the basket and Kristen discovered it while she was unpacking the blanket. Talk about a sweet treat! Keep scrolling for more of our beautiful couple!

Natalie and Emily’s Hawaii beach wedding was simply beautiful. Ironwoods Beach set the stage with a special glow and rustic cliffs. The only thing outshining the tropical backdrop was our glowing couple!

Wearing a white suit with lacy details and looking chic, Emily walked down the aisle on her son’s arm. Natalie followed, looking stunning in an elegant gown with a button-down back. There was no shortage of love and warm smiles during this Hawaii beach wedding!

Their guests could not resist capturing the lovely moment themselves! After exchanging leis and rings, it was time for that magical kiss! Then, as a married couple, Natalie and Emily explored the shore together and the amazing team at Karma Hill Photography captured all the radiant beauty.

Natalie and Emily met while training for a half-marathon three years ago. Since that moment, they’ve been inseparable. They were engaged at the Hamilton Pool Preserve in Dripping Springs, Texas.
Natalie told us the story, and we just had to share it: “We planned to spend the day at the park, but we were shocked to find out the park was about to close in ten minutes. Emily raced down to the pool, and I was lagging behind her. When we reached the waterfall, I was trying to capture a picture of Emily by the crystal clear pool when I asked her to turn around for a photo. She then looked at me with tears in her eyes and the waterfall sounding behind her and said, “Will you marry me?” I was stunned, and my knees began to buckle as I said, “Yes!”
And their love is still just as radiant! Keep scrolling for more from this amazing couple!

Krista and Ashlee said “I do” with a Micro Wedding in Hawaii on the green lawn of the 5 Palms in Wailea. The tradewinds came out to play but it only added to the comfortable atmosphere, with plenty of sunshine to warm guests’ shoulders and an island breeze to keep them cool. There was endless happiness on the shore that day, and we could not get enough of the love shared between our brides!

Krista and Ashlee walked down the aisle hand in hand, wearing complementary gowns and smiles that said it all. This is the day their future begins! Holding matching Rustic Hawaiian Bouquets and sporting elegant sandals, Krista and Ashlee looked right at home against the seaside, not to mention right at home with each other! From smiles to sweet lean-ins, these two were clearly made for each other and it was a joy to be a part of their Micro Wedding in Hawaii!

Krista works as the athletic trainer and teacher of the medical classes at a local high school, and Ashlee works with the women’s basketball team at one of the local universities. They love all things camping, especially spending the summer months in their camper trailer. Together they have two pups and love to play games– cards, board, yard– you name it and Krista and Ashlee probably love it!
Krista and Ashlee have been together since 2005 and met while Krista was in high school and they were both lifeguards at a local pool. The connection was instant, but it took several years for the romance to bloom. Then one special Christmas morning, Ashlee looked into her stocking. When she found that ring at the bottom, she turned and found Krista on her knee! A life-long love? Best Christmas present ever! Scroll for more of this sweet couple!

Sarah and Alisha’s Maui Wedding was kissed with the island sun and a cool, tropical breeze. Alisha is a beach lover at heart and always wanted to get married by the sea. So our couple figured, what better way to make that dream come true than in Hawaii! Gathered on the 5 Palms lawn, guests were treated to a panoramic view of the turquoise ocean and the endless Maui sky. The only thing better was the heartwarming scene of Sarah and Alisha tying their beautiful lives together by saying, “I do.”

Sarah and Alisha began their journey two years ago to the day. Not only does their wedding mark their own anniversary, but it also marks the 46th anniversary of Sarah’s parents. It’s a blessing and fortunate sign that Sarah and Alisha share their special date with a strong and affectionate couple. We’re certain that Sarah and Alisha’s marriage will be just as solid and loving.
Interestingly enough, our couple also shares this date with National Margarita Day. Regardless of whether or not they got margaritas after the ceremony, they’re obviously punch-drunk in love! Plus it fit the theme–Because the ocean brought the salt and our couple brought the sweetness! Those adoring looks speak for themselves! Keep scrolling for more!

Sarah and Alisha chose the 5 Palms Oceanside Lawn as their Maui Wedding venue. This prime location has all the vivid views and breezes of a beach wedding with the flexibility of a venue. We love how the Elegant Simplicity Arch perfectly frames our loving couple.
