All it took was one trip to Hawaii for Connie and Sonny to fall in love with this destination! This ceremony was simple and relaxed! Sonny was the first person to arrive; he took his spot by the bamboo arch. Next, it was time for the groomsmen and bridesmaids to walk down the aisle. After them, it was the two ring bearers’ turn. Finally, Connie made her grand entrance! Our bride gracefully made her way down the lawn as her parents escorted her.

Why They Had a Maui Wedding

Connie and Sonny became enamored with Maui when they first visited in 2018. Although they weren’t engaged then, they already envisioned a future together! One of their goals was to return to the island and bring their families.

Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, Connie and Sonny opted to get married via Zoom in 2020. However, our charming pair was excited to finally have their intimate ceremony and tropical celebration with their family. Not to mention, Connie and Sonny would also get to vacation with their loved ones!

Our Couple’s Story

Connie and Sonny first met in 2010 while attending college. At the time, they were externs at the same hospital. They remained good friends for a few years and then began dating in 2015! Then, when the time was right, Sonny popped the question at their favorite Italian restaurant in front of their families. Connie said it was a sweet and simple proposal!

The Dreamy Venue Wedding in Maui

This trip wasn’t Krista and Derek’s first time in Hawaii. Krista has been visiting since she was five years old! She and Derek have also traveled to the Aloha State many times together. However, Maui is their favorite island! They have had many unforgettable experiences here, so it was no surprise they decided to tie the knot at this destination. Most importantly, we’re glad we could be part of another remarkable memory in paradise!

Our Couple’s Story

Krista and Derek’s story began when they met in a country bar! Our lovely couple immediately hit it off, so they two-stepped the night away. After this night, they were inseparable!

They got engaged while visiting Krista’s family on Vancouver Island for a fishing trip. Derek attached a flasher to her rod, and it said, “You are the catch of a lifetime. Will you marry me?” When Krista reeled in her line to head some, she saw the message! Then, she turned around to see Derek on one knee. Krista says it was a memorable moment and a creative engagement!

Our Couple’s Story

Matt and Sarah first met one another while working at Walgreens in 2013. At the time, he was sent to Chicago on a specific assignment by Boots, a drugstore in the United Kingdom. First, our delightful duo became friends and occasionally met up.

Then in 2018, Matt and Sarah grew closer! Once our passionate pair realized there was something more, so they started a long-distance relationship. After spending 2019 traveling the world together, they had no doubts they wanted to spend their lives together! Finally, in December 2020, Matt popped the magic question. While Sarah was visiting Matt at his home in the United Kingdom — he proposed!

Our radiant newlyweds had a Hawaii venue wedding because they wanted a small celebration! Maui was the perfect location because it’s beautiful, and our adventurous duo could also spend their honeymoon on the island.

The Romantic Beach Wedding in Maui

This ceremony started beautifully! Gregory was standing on the shore by the wedding officiant, Kahu Euta. Once all the guests were comfortable, the entrances began. First to walk out was Kate, the maid of honor, and Brian, the best man. Following them were the two precious flower girls. The last to walk down the beach was Whitney. Her father, John, was by her side and a pastel Rustic Hawaiian bouquet from Dellables was in her hands!

Our Couple’s Story

Whitney and Gregory first connected at a work Christmas party. At the time, Gregory was working with Whitney’s mom at the same physical therapy company. After a few months of dating, Whitney eventually began working at the same firm in the marketing department.

Our beautiful couple enjoys being adventurous, so a Maui beach wedding was perfect for them! In their free time, you can find them hiking, going to the seaside, or walking their two dogs. When they’re not outside, they’ll spend time at home playing video games!

Held at a breathtaking location with the sun’s golden hour in the sky — this ceremony is simply enchanting! While Kahu Euta delivered his sermon, Karma Hill Photography effortlessly captured our passionate couple’s affectionate looks and loving expressions. However, one of our favorite moments was when our gorgeous couple exchanged leis with one another and their three children. It was so heartwarming to see their kids incorporated into this tradition! 

The location for this wedding was the splendid shores of Po’olenalena Beach! The clear weather made this South Maui spot look like a fairytale. Since there was light cloud coverage, the sun was vibrant and enhanced the natural palette. Above all, you can see the foamy azure waves, vivid greenery, and dramatic lava rock formations exquisitely decorating the background!

Robyn and Chad met one another on a dating app. Then, they had their first date at a sushi restaurant called Blue Fish! It was during this date Chad knew Robyn was the one for him! After being together for nearly five years, our delightful couple got engaged. Dylan and the fourteen guests were the first people to arrive at the lush lawn. Our groom looked sharp in his classic black suit; it was elegant and complemented Tia’s gown exquisitely. Then, when the time was right, our bride made a breathtaking entrance with her parents by her side! Karma Hill Photography effortlessly captured how ethereal Tia looked! Her gown is sophisticated, her hair is timeless, and her makeup is chic. 

Kahu Euta was the minister, and he delivered a heartwarming sermon. During the ceremony, you can see how elated our delightful couple was to be marrying one another in Hawaii. And when they were pronounced husband and wife, their blissful newlywed glow was undeniable!

Our Couple’s Story

Our lovely couple’s story began when they met in 2007 while they were in high school. First, they had a class together, then two weeks later they started dating! Friendship, love, and trust have been the keys to keeping their relationship strong and healthy.

In 2013, Dylan popped the magic question on New Year’s Eve. Our captivating couple was watching Disneyland’s fireworks from the top of a parking structure when Dylan proposed! Since then, they have been trying to plan a flawless day to tie the knot. Above all, we’re overjoyed they got their perfect Hawaii venue wedding with us!

Currently, Dylan is an electrician, while Tia is a Registered Nurse. They are parents of two adorable dogs and two sweet cats! In their free time, you can find this adventurous pair hiking, fishing, and going on long drives. We hope you guys got to experience the sweeping views the trails in Maui offer! With the breathtaking views surrounding you, you’ll feel like you’re in a dream — especially as the sun is setting. During this intimate occasion, the setting sun shone on the ocean making it sparkle enchantingly.

Emily and Sina’s beautiful Maui beach wedding was like a drop of sunshine, bright, warm, and kept making us smile. With a gorgeous tropical backdrop and a handful of loved ones watching on, this beautiful ceremony had everything island dreams are made of. 

The Maui Beach Wedding

We planned to have Emily and Sina’s Maui beach wedding on the shore of Southside, but with the threat of rain, we ended up moving the ceremony to Maluaka Beach. And it turned out to be a perfect choice! We can’t always shift the location, but we were able to get to the edge of the cloud line, which resulted in a slightly overcast ceremony and a sunset that was poppin’! Our Couple’s Story

Our bride had the sweetest story, that we just had to share on our blog! From our bride: 

“We met the age-old way – the internet! We actually matched on Coffee meets bagel. We talked for a few days and then met for our first date at a local bar/restaurant called Sovereign. 

“Proposal: we had an unseasonably warm day in Northern Virginia. We decided to go into DC to Georgetown and walk around. We went to take pictures in front of the place of our first date. That is when Sina gave the most heartwarming speech and dropped to his knee. I didn’t even say yes – I just said of course!” How cute is that?! The rest of their story is right here on our blog!

Maluaka Beach was sunny and magical for Katie and Jordan’s Hawaii Beach Elopement. Golden sunshine and radiant aqua blues painted the scene for this beautiful couple. When deciding how to get married, Katie and Jordan just knew an elopement was the way to go. So when a trip to Maui was booked with a small group of family and friends, they thought: what better time? 

The Hawaii Beach Elopement 

Katie and Jordan arrived at the beach separately so they wouldn’t see each other before they arrived. Standing side by side with Kahu Euta, Jordan looked over the luminous seascape before turning to take in his even more luminous bride. Wearing a classic princess-cut gown with lace accents, Katie was beyond beautiful and beaming with endless love.

We’re all about how this hands-on bride altered her own gown to be more beach-friendly, snipping off the long train and using some of the material to decorate her bouquet. It was the perfect beachy alteration! Although they eloped, Katie was sure to celebrate her loved ones, carrying a pin her aunt made with their names in it. 

When it came time to share their vows, Katie read from her phone, speaking heartfelt words she’d penned with love and thought. Jordan decided not to write his vows, and instead spoke from his soul, right there on the spot. Once Kahu Euta declared Katie and Jordan husband and wife, beachgoers snorkeling in the ocean popped their heads out to cheer them on. It was the cutest moment and so classically “Maui’d in Paradise”! 

Our Couples Story

Katie and Jordan met in college, and after four years of growing closer, Jordan knew he wanted to grow forever with Katie. During a very special outing, he took her to her family’s Italian restaurant in San Diego, Isola. Surrounded by warmth and happy memories, he asked Katie to marry him, and the rest is history! Ashley & Nathaniel traveled from Kentucky to elope in Maui, and they were ready for an adventure! We had to go off the beaten path to get to this quiet corner of Polo Beach, but it was worth the effort. With bare feet and gorgeous grins, these love birds stood right on the shoreline for their wedding ceremony.

About Our Couple

Ashley is a middle school teacher who loves to bake. Nathaniel helps run a large printing company and also flips properties to rent. Their jobs & hobbies – and their fur baby Bristol – keep this fun-loving pair pretty busy. But they still find time to enjoy food & wine, and simply relax in their apartment or the brewery next door to them.

Ashley says that Nathaniel can be over-the-top, and his proposal proves that! It was an all day affair with surprise after surprise. A Mercedes whisked Ashley away to a horse-and-carriage, where Nathaniel was ready with a ring and a photographer. The winds were too high for the original plan – a helicopter!

Now they have the story of their outrageous/perfect proposal, and their crazy/perfect idea to elope in Maui. Plus all the photos to remember it by!

After Euta pronounced them husband & wife, it was time to enjoy the sunset. The evening had a pastel glow that allowed for dreamy & romantic portraits. Of course you have to get great pictures when you elope in Maui. These two are naturals in front of the camera!

As it began to get dark, we said farewell to these newlyweds and sent them off to dinner. It was such a joy providing their Maui wedding coordination!
