Karyne and Tristan’s Maui Destination Wedding featured a spectacular view, cheering loved ones, and a couple as sweet and in love as can be! The 5 Palms set the stage and the Maui sky decorated with sweeping blues and a vibrant sunset. It was our pleasure to be a part of Karyne and Tristan’s wonderful day!

Tristan waited for the love of his life, wearing a smokey gray suit and blush tie and the biggest smile that says, “This is the day!” Escorted by her father, Karyne is radiant in a Roman-cut gown with her hair in gorgeous pleating. We loved that moment of bursting happiness when she first laid eyes on her man. Sometimes a joy this strong just can’t be contained!

Karyne currently works for Piedmont Airlines as a gate agent at the Phoenix airport, and Tristan works for Uber! In their free time, they enjoy watching movies, going outside for hikes, and trying new restaurants! Karyne loves Maui and always knew that getting married on the island would be the perfect way to say, “I do”!
From as early as 8th grade, Karyne and Tristan knew there was something special in the works between them. They dated off and on for a few years until Karyne moved to Arizona during her Freshman year. And, of course, Tristan couldn’t let her slip away! He officially moved to be with her five years ago, and they were engaged on Valentine’s Day of this year! Keep scrolling for more of this sweet couple! How crazy adorable are those nose-kisses?!?!

Congratulations, Karyne and Tristan! Thank you for choosing us to coordinate your Maui Destination Wedding! We wish you all the very best in the decades ahead!

Lona and James’s Elopement in Maui had us all dancing with joy! Celebrating five years together, Lona and James tied the knot against a pristine ocean backdrop with the powder-soft sands of Po’olenalena Beach beneath their feet. The clear sky gave way to a sunset of bursting hues in gold and tangerine, as if the island were sending its fondest blessing.

The Elopement on Maui took place on the shore of Po’olenalena, with Kahu Euta beginning the ceremony with the traditional Hawaiian conch shell. From the moment Lona stepped on the sand, we knew the day would be filled with joy and that magic spark of eternal love. Wearing a smile from ear to ear, James could not look away.
It’s little wonder why. Draped in a jewel-encrusted gown with casual pleating with a beachy plait that perfectly framed her glowing face, Lona was simply stunning. James was on cloud nine, just like the day Lona sent him a text asking him out for that first cup of coffee. He still has the video of his reaction, howling with delight as he reads it!

Lona and James work together in the mortgage business. He has three kids, who Lona loves and adores! Their wedding marks five years together, or as Lona says “The best five of my life <3” Together they enjoy being active, they even built a house together!
Lona and James met at a UNR football game, both acting as company for two friends who were interested in each other. Turns out, their friends weren’t the only ones with chemistry! Lona and James fell in love and moved in together three months later. Two years following, at their favorite restaurant, James got down on one knee and popped the big question. Lona burst into happy tears and the restaurant-goers burst into applause! The rest of their story is right here on our blog!

Mahalo, Lona and James, for trusting us with your elopement in Maui. It was a gorgeous day, and you were a joy to work with. We wish you all the best in the years ahead!

For their Maui Venue Wedding, Amanda and Michael said “I do” in front of the aquamarine ocean and bathed in warm sunlight. The 5 Palms set the stage as loved ones watched on from the manicured greens of the venue. The moment Amanda and Michael tied their lives together, the happiness, excitement, and pure joy were palpable!

Set against the shore of Keawakapu Beach, the 5 Palms Restaurant was the perfect location for Amanda and Michael’s Maui Venue Wedding. With a much higher guest count capacity than a beach wedding but with the same stunning ocean view, this venue perfectly paired Amanda and Michael’s dream of marrying on the beach while having plenty of loved ones in attendance.

Amanda and Michael both work in corrections, with Amanda serving as a caseworker for the Nevada Department of Corrections and Michael as a Correctional Sgt for the city jail. They met through mutual friends and bonded over their love of fantasy football and sarcasm (which, by the way, is totally *not* super adorable. #Sarcasm ;).
Together they have a Miniature Australian Shepherd, AKA their incredibly spoiled and cute furbaby! Amanda and Michael enjoy anything outdoorsy and spending time with family and friends.

When the time was right, Michael had an incredible proposal idea, but his plans were altered due to COVID shutdowns. No problem, he rearranged and came up with plan two… which was also canceled! Finally, he decided on a simple and classically romantic proposal. Michael asked Amanda the big question in the park, and she wouldn’t have had it any other way! The rest of their story is right here on our blog!

Mahalo nui loa, Amanda and Michael, for trusting us with your Maui Venue Wedding! We had a wonderful time working with you and wish you all the best in the years ahead!

Set up by three different sets of mutual friends, Julie and Jason’s Maui Beach Elopement was a day many knew was destined to happen! Uniting their two beautiful families on the shore of Ironwoods, this special ceremony had all the joy a couple could hope for–plus gorgeous tropical backdrops and four amazing kids!

Julie made her entrance on the shore wearing a relaxed yet elegant boho-inspired gown and carrying a Rustic Hawaiian Bouquet of island flowers. We love how her beachy up-do and soft ringlets framer her glowing face. Inspired by the bride, our couple’s daughters perfectly tie in the beachy style with unique cotton gowns in the bohemian vibe. Wearing a French blue blazer with navy slacks, Jason is looking pretty sleek himself!

Julie and Jason charmed us with their genuine love and adoration. A moment didn’t pass without a tender glance or full-hearted laughter. When true love hits, it can’t be containted!

Julie is a teacher, and Jason is a software developer. They each have two kids from previous marriages and were thrilled all four of them could be here for the Maui Beach Elopement. Together for eleven years, Julie and Jason planned to get married last May before COVID hit.
They postponed, but circumstances forced them to reconsider once more. Luckily, they’d already planned a trip to the Magic Isle with the kids and figured it would be the perfect place to say “I do.” Cue the Maui Beach Elopement! Keep scrolling for more of this phenomenal couple and family!

Thank you, Julie and Jason, for selecting us to coordinate your Maui Beach Elopement. We had a wonderful time meeting you and your amazing children. We wish you all the happiness in the decades ahead!

Maui spread out her speckled clouds and brought all the beauty for Heather and J.R.’s Venue Wedding in Hawaii! Together on the lush lawn of the 5 Palms in Wailea, our couple tied the knot with their adoring loved ones watching on. With the bridesmaids in coral and the groomsmen in suspenders, this stylish wedding is a must-see!

The 5 Palms oceanfront lawn beautifully melds the perks of a venue with the jaw-dropping backdrop of a beach wedding. With the ceremony property literally feet away from the sandy shore, Heather and J.R. were treated to the kiss of the warm Maui sun and the invigorating salty breeze of the ocean. Does it get much better than that?! Add in true love and a gorgeous couple who’s not afraid to shout in celebration, and yeah, it does!

Heather is an x-ray technologist at a hospital, and J.R. is the store manager of a Valvoline instant oil change. They met at a mutual friend’s house, and if Heather had an x-ray handy that day, she would have noticed J.R.’s heart was practically leaping out of his chest! Their family has made it a tradition to visit Maui every year, so Jon knew exactly where he’d propose. During a luau on the island, Jon asked Heather to marry him. And now their story comes full circle with a Venue Wedding in Hawaii! How beautiful are these two?!

Mahalo nui loa, Heather and Jon, for trusting us with your venue wedding in Hawaii. We had a joy working with you and look forward to your ten year vow renewal! Wishing you all the best in the years ahead!

The anticipation was truly felt by all of us for Tricia & Billy’s Beach Wedding in Maui. They waited a lifetime for each other, and we waited 5 months since our last wedding! It’s been rough not having weddings in our life every single day. We’ve been looking forward to this gorgeous ceremony just as much as Tricia & Billy!
Tricia & Billy met 3 years ago when she decided to swipe Right on Tinder. Billy thought it was his dashing good looks but it was actually all because of his name. See, Tricia’s dog was named Billy, and as all dog owners know, they are one of the most special beings in your life. She felt it was meant to be!

It was a beautiful afternoon at Southside Beach. The warm sun with a light breeze offered the perfect setting for these two to share their vows with one another. Although they had planned for many family and friends (and their dogs) to be there on their wedding day, things didn’t work out quite as planned.
Quarantine orders for the guests coming from the mainland made it nearly impossible for loved ones to attend. Instead, this resilient couple brought Live Maui Webcasts along to film it for everyone watching from their homes in the mainland. This awful pandemic may have put up hurdles in our lives but Tricia & Billy weren’t going to let it get in the way of their love. In fact, it’s stronger than ever now as they embark on this new chapter as husband and wife.

Billy restored his blue Bronco all himself! It was the perfect prop for their wedding pictures. Billy planned a fun “honeymoon weekend” adventuring around West Maui in the Bronco before heading back to work on Monday.

Maxine & Ryan’s destination wedding on Maui was elegant, simple, and intimate… not to mention spontaneous! Just three weeks before their Maui vacation, Maxine & Ryan decided to intertwine their special day into their Hawaii get-away! Free from the stress of planning the ceremony, and with the stately mountains and glistening seascape in the backdrop, our couple was able to just relax and enjoy the moment. And it was our pleasure to help give Maxine & Ryan the simple Maui wedding of their dreams!
Can we take a second to say how in awe we are over their Hollywood-worthy “meet-cute.” It’s almost as if it was written in the stars… or, rather, written in the blueprint. This fun-loving couple met after they built their houses… next door to each other! Talk about a romantic twist on the old saying, “Home is where the heart is.” Now, as a blended family, their house has never felt warmer. Just take a peek at all the heartwarming captures below!

As she made her entrance over the terrace of the Steeple House, Maxine’s father and son had the honor of walking her down the aisle. And Ryan watched on in awe, clearly ecstatic (and maybe even a little in disbelief) that this incredible woman was about to be his wife…

Following the tender ceremony, Maxine and Ryan shared their first dance under the gabled roof of the Steeple House…

And soon after, Dad had his chance to sway to-and-fro with his beautiful daughter on her wedding day…

Cradled in the heart of Lahaina, the sweeping terrace of the Dragon Fruit Farm set the stage for Bianca & Danny’s venue wedding on Maui. This airy affair boasted refined luxury as far as the eye could see, complete with personal touches and sentimental details.
Having once resided on Maui, Bianca fell in love with the island and mused, “I always thought it would be amazing to come back and get married here… This is going to be Danny’s first time to Hawaii, and I’m so excited to show him around.”
And it was our immense pleasure to capture her wedding dreams as they unfolded into a swoon-worthy reality.

Like many modern love stories, this jubilant couple first crossed paths online. Their romance quickly took flight, whisking them away to the rolling hills of Scotland and the legendary Stonehenge. And on that grassy knoll, with the 4,000-year-old structure bearing witness, Danny asked Bianca to be his wife…
And then, on February 2nd, overlooking a view as beautiful as their love story, they said “I do” on the sacred island of Maui (With an adorable cardboard cut-out of their 6-year-old dog, Bubba, bearing witness). We can only imagine what’s next in store for this endearing couple…

Now that Bianca and Danny are joined together, the heart of the Hawaiian sun shines between them.

We’re obsessed with the regal yet intimate ambiance of Jacquelyn & Kyle’s Wailea beach wedding in Maui. The bride and groom clearly have an eye for detail, lacing unique and personal touches throughout the affair and layering the sentimental with the sophisticated, making for a ceremony that’s impossible to forget.
Together for over a decade, Jacquelyn and Kyle first met when their fathers casually introduced them. The act was innocent and between colleagues, both dads simply wanting to get to know the other’s family and form a deeper friendship … little did they know the bond it would forge wouldn’t just be between them! The moment the couple met there was “instant chemistry,” as Jacquelyn’s father so lovingly put it during his reception toast. And looking over these vivid captures, that instant chemistry is clearly still steaming in its beaker!

The bride and groom took in the views of the Wailea coast as they prepped for the occasion in the spacious rooms of the 5-star Fairmont Kea Lani hotel.

As an utterly heartfelt symbol of honor and love, Jacquelyn found precious ways to include her late mother into the ceremony with a picture charm for her bouquet and a framed portrait of her mother on her wedding day…
We were beyond touched and took care to capture these poignant details.

We treasured capturing this mother-and-daughters shot… Jacquelyn’s sister, Liz, acted as her bridesmaid, holding her hand as they walked down to the Polo beach ceremony and ensuring that all was as perfect as could be.
These sisters are so intertwined, in fact, that it was on Liz’s wedding day when Kyle first proposed to Jacquelyn. The morning of the ceremony, Kyle swept her away to a special waterfall in the mountains… but it wasn’t just any waterfall…
Jacquelyn’s mother had often taken her to that very spot and the memories of the rushing waters and rich earthy smells have always held a special place in her heart. With the majestic sprays misting the air between them, Kyle asked Jacquelyn to be his wife… and the rest of the story follows…

Together for nearly two decades, Cassandra and Scott flew in from their California hometown for this breezy Maui destination wedding. On the powder-soft sands of Southside Beach and enveloped in an abundance of love, the couple tied the knot in a ceremony that was equal parts tropical-chic and carefree.
We were charmed with how Scott had his bride-to-be laughing throughout the occasion. It was clear that “two decades” was just a ripple in the endless sea of this couple’s love story.

Kahu Euta ordained over the reception, and with his passionate nature, you can always count on smiles paired with deep insights on love, family, and culture.

We loved how Cassandra selected a gown that showcased her spectacular skin-art and accented her graceful shoulders and neckline. And can we take a second to draw attention to Scott’s utterly adoring expression here? We’re swooning along with him!

After a few wise and poignant words from Kahu Euta, the couple said “I do” as the gentle white waters churned in the backdrop.

After the ceremony, the couple strolled down the sandy shore for some quiet moments of reflection and candid couple shots.

Although the week had been overcast and misty, a spectacular sunset of creams and honey graced the sky on this couple’s Special Day. It made for an enchanting sight to behold, casting the couple’s natural beauty in a glowing radiance.
In fact, it was the first Hawaiian sunset Cassandra and Scott had the pleasure of seeing in person — and what a special first!

We loved helping this couple plan their Maui Beach Wedding, especially since having a beach wedding was a childhood dream for Melissa. And we are thrilled we could help make her dream a reality! And to make it even more special they were joined by their closest family and friends, including their three kids.

Melissa and Kasey have been together for 16 years! They enjoy anything with adventure, especially being out in nature. Some of their favorite hobbies are hiking, fishing, hunting, and beachcombing! Plus they also love to travel, and since neither of them had been to Hawaii before we love that they decided to get married here 🙂 .
Melissa really wanted to take a photo on a driftwood log and the perfect one just so happened to be right next to where we were shooting the ceremony. So we were thrilled with how perfectly that worked out! She also really wanted shots with a rainbow and we even got one in the distance, it was so awesome!

We also made sure to capture some extra special shots of the two of them with their kids. And then the remainder of the session was spent just spoiling them and making them feel super special in front of the camera. The love they shared was contagious and everything about their wedding was just a dream!

Thank you, Melissa and Kasey, for giving Simple Maui Wedding the opportunity to be part of such a special Maui Beach Wedding! We loved working with you both and wish you all the best on the journey ahead. Congratulations and Warm Aloha!

Being part of this couple’s Poolenalena Beach Wedding was such an honor! When we met Grayson at the beach he was nervous and excited. We typically ask our grooms questions about how they would like to stand for the ceremony. Grayson knew they wanted to face each other throughout the whole time because that’s what Jessica wanted. And he was right! Which made him smile when he was talking with Jessica about it after the ceremony ended 🙂 .
Their Poolenalena Beach Wedding started with our bride entering with Grayson’s daughter Ava, which was so sweet! Especially since after meeting 5 years ago, these two have been together for most of Ava’s life. And we love that our sister company was able to capture these photos of them all together!

When their photographer asked, “So how does it feel to be married?” Grayson replied, “Relieved.” He then explained he’s normally nervous being the center of attention but with Jessica by his side, he couldn’t stop smiling and laughing the time away with her! It’s easy to see that they make each other incredibly happy and we have no doubt they will have the most amazing life together as husband and wife.

Thank you, Jessica and Grayson, for sharing your special day with Simple Maui Wedding! We loved getting to celebrate with you and wish you all the best on the journey ahead. Congratulations and Warm Aloha!
