Kristin & Andre’s vow renewal in Maui, Hawaii had us thinking about the saying, “Love is like the wind, you can’t see it but you can feel it.” And, boy, could we feel the wind and the love on this incredibly beautiful Maui day! Together for 17 years and framed by their 4 darling kids, Kristin & Andre recommitted to their union with a stress-free ceremony that put their love and their family at the forefront.
And considering how breezy and easygoing this entire crew was, it seems only fitting that the wind came out to say hello. The family was full of laughs and high spirits, and we were so impressed with how mature and insightful the kiddos are! Each young member even shared a few words during the renewal. Keep swiping for all the precious captures!

Following the wise words of Reverend Joe Miles, the children passed around a sheet of paper, and in turn, each read a heartful sentiment about their parents’ love. It was an unforgettable moment, and truly a testament to the strength of this family… not to mention precious beyond belief!

Subtle yet vivid… seemingly a contradiction, but the perfect way to summarize Tina & Kirill’s sophisticated venue wedding in Maui, HI. Surrounded by the outdoors beauty of the Steeple House at Kapalua, bursts of rich burgundy and mulberry added a drop of glamour to this surprisingly relaxed ceremony.
Together for over five years, Tina and Kirill first met while interning as software engineers at BlackBerry. Now residing in Seatle, this jet-setting couple flew out to the Big Island to capture their engagement photos against the tropical locale. So when it came time to say “I do” Tina and Kirill felt the “Magic Isle” would be the perfect place to get Maui’d! And it was on the slopes of the West Maui Mountains, where this couple effortlessly raised the bar for Hawaii destination weddings!
Need proof? Keep scrolling!

Draped in an ivory princess gown with a lace illusion neckline, Tina looks as if she just stepped out of a fairytale…

And speaking of fairytales, we’re head-over-heels for this gorgeous custom floral arrangement by our friends at Dellables! Boysenberry with splashes of evergreen and peach, the rich hues of this bouquet perfectly complement Tina’s natural beauty.

And in the classic black-and-white, Kirill makes for a gorgeous groom!

These spectacular portraits atop the cliffs of Ironwoods beach are epic in the most traditional sense… poetic and awe-inspiring, these captures are only paralleled by our bride and groom’s love story…

Thank you, Tina & Kirill, for trusting Simple Maui Wedding with your Special Day. You have our heartfelt congratulations and fondest Aloha…

Having known each other their entire lives, Venessa & Joey’s Wedding on Maui seemed as if it was written in the sky. Embraced by the West Maui Mountains, this radiant couple said “I do” on the exquisite Steeple House grounds in Kapalua.
Tucked away near Makaluapuna Point, this venue perfectly marries graceful rolling views with the historic and rustic charm of Old Hawaiʻi. So it seems only fitting that such an immaculately styled couple with a rich history of their own would choose it as the backdrop for their place of union.

Vanessa’s striking beauty has our hearts singing. We’re obsessed with the fairytale romance of this look.
Our friends at Mei Li Autumn Beauty truly outdid themselves; loose ringlets fall gently as a dewy lip and blush draw the focus to Vanessa’s dramatically charcoaled eyes.

Nothing but classic elegance adorns this bride. European lacework embraces her hourglass frame, falling into a sweeping mermaid tail.
Vanessa’s bridal style brilliantly showcases her stunning body art and her piercing gaze.

As an extra touch of personality, Vanessa and Joey requested one of our custom wedding cakes. Simple and elegant, these tiers of deliciousness are each embellished with carefully selected flowers to mirror the bride’s bouquet.

Donned in lilac and pewter gray, Joey is the epitome of laid back sophistication. It’s not hard to imagine how childhood friends as gorgeous as these two could fall head-over-heels.
We love how Vanessa summed up the moment of their engagement: “He asked me one night after work if I would spend forever with him… I said yes, of course.”

Thank you, Vanessa & Joey, for choosing Simple Maui Wedding to help turn your dreams into a reality. We wish you all the best in the years to come…

During their tender Maui vow renewal, Emilie and Christopher reaffirmed their love and commitment to each other. With the oasis shores of Ironwoods setting the stage, they read their heartfelt sentiments while humpbacks danced on the horizon. The couple shined with genuine, palpable affection. And between laughs and tears, they promised to put their love at the forefront.
When they first said “I do” six years ago, the couple had dreams of traveling and setting sail on adventures while they nurtured their journey as a couple. But life took the wheel, and shortly after their marriage, Emilie and Christopher put their dreams on hold to become caregivers for her beloved father. We were inspired by the strength of their compassion and the timeless love that radiates between them. If there were ever proof of soulmates, it would be Emilie and Christopher … best friends, yet still as infatuated as a pair of college sophomores.
And now, with dreams of starting a family, this is their year for new beginnings! So, in order to spread their wings and enjoy this new stage of metamorphosis, Emilie booked a trip to Maui for a surprise vow renewal! She revealed her plan to Christopher on Christmas morning, complete with a little map of Maui and pushpins marking all of the magical spots they’ll explore. And, of course, one very special pin on Ironwoods beach…
Congratulations, Emilie and Christopher! And thank you for choosing us to help you make your Maui vow renewal as special as can be.
We wish you all the adventures and happiness in the years ahead…

With their closest family in attendance and the rolling waves of Ironwoods setting the stage, Sharon & Michael’s Maui beach elopement was an event to remember! And, of course, the couple was sure to include their “best girl” in the ceremony.
As a specially trained guide dog, Nav can perform a variety of intricate tasks… including bearing the couple’s wedding rings! We always love when couples interweave personal touches within their ceremony. It’s a great way to celebrate unique lifestyles and add that extra “wow” element. And precious Nav (with a ring pouch attached to her collar) not only added that “wow” but also the “aww!”

Reverend Peter Dagupion officiated the wedding, enriching the affair with sacred Hawaiian ceremonial traditions. It’s hard to summarize the intensely moving experience of being enveloped in the rich, tonal vibrations of Hawaiian chants and the blowing of the pu (conch shell). What a suiting way to solidify such such a joyous union!

We adored how Sharon’s gown beautifully mirrored the splashes of the sea. With a flowing fit that waved in the breeze and a sprinkling of gems that glimmered in the light of the late afternoon, Sharon evoked visions of a water nymph adorned in the foam of the tide.

Later, the couple slipped away after the ceremony for some dramatic yet intimate couple’s portraits atop the cliffside of Ironwoods. Few beach wedding locations are as striking. With the roaring ocean and Lānaʻi fading into the background, these captures are absolutely unforgettable!

On the breezy shores of Ironwoods and set against a shimmering waterfront, Kayla Jo & John tied the knot in an intimate Kapalua Beach wedding. This gorgeous New York couple hand-selected elements of rustic flair and timeless glamour, perfectly pairing the polished style of their hometown with the lively nature of the tropics.
Flooded with natural light and vivid blooms, Ironwoods is situated north of Kāʻanapali and overlooks the statuesque cliffs of the West Maui Mountains. One of the most unforgettable locales on Maui, the embankment that curves around the backside of Lahaina makes for an earth-moving experience that’s rarely seen by the casual visitor. And because of the gallantry of this stunning couple, we were able to capture some of the most spectacular poses on the cliffscapes that we’ve ever seen!

Reverend Kuya Alamodin officiated the ceremony, opening with the deep, reverberating call of the Hawaiian conch shell. The pu (conch shell) is used in Hawaiian culture to offer heavenly respect and bless the affair with holy mana.

To the tune of “Marry Me” and watched on by close family, Kayla Jo made her debut while linking arms with her proud father.

We loved capturing the intimate and sincere moments between the couple.

Who could not be inspired by this radiant beauty? Adorned in a haku lei and carrying one of our rustic Hawaiian bouquets, Kayla Jo takes our breath away.
From the pearly shimmer of her gown’s bodice to the silken flow of her beach-ready hair, we’re left wide-eyed as we soak in her otherworldly grace that was so exquisitely captured in these shots.

Excuse us while we collect our jaws from the floor…

We thought it was extra special that the couple created a personal sign to use during the session. A friend hand-lettered across their favorite album by Tim McGraw. Not only is “Shotgun Rider” their wedding song, but they also attended one of his concerts on a date… how incredibly sentimental!

As the sun dipped below the horizon, the couple shared a few embraces on the cliffscape…

And as we said earlier, the session was breathtaking!

Thank you, Kayla Jo & John for making us a part of your unforgettable Kapalua beach Wedding… We wish you all the happiness in the years to come…

When this couple started planning their Maui Elopement with us, we could immediately tell they were extremely laid back. Laurie especially! Kyle even joked, “she makes a terrible bride” because she still hadn’t gotten her dress 3 weeks before the wedding, haha. But she ended up with one of the most stunning wedding dresses we’ve ever seen!

We absolutely loved working with this bride and groom and were so inspired by their carefree personalities and way of interacting with each other. After being together for 6 years, these two have a very in sync relationship. And we are dying over how they met!
Laurie had downloaded the Tinder app for fun not planning on really using it. But, sure enough, they both swiped right and got matched! They happened to have lots of mutual friends so she let us know she was able to “check if he was a psycho” and avoid a date turned horror story🤪. Has anyone else been listening to real crime podcasts? Our entire team is hooked!
After an intimate Maui Elopement ceremony led by Reverend Joe Miles, our newlyweds were ready to showcase their love for the camera! When they’d mentioned previously that they “just wanted a couple of nice photos.” we told them they’d get that PLUS more, LOL. And our sister company delivered, just see for yourself!

The island was showing off extra hard with the soft lighting and glowing moon. This was Laurie and Kyle’s time here and Maui really left an unforgettable impression! And we feel the same way about these two.
Thank you, Laurie and Kyle, for letting us celebrate with you at your Maui Elopement. We had the best time getting to know you both and can’t wait for you to return, maybe on a special anniversary trip! Congratulations and Warm Aloha!

Vicky and Joseph decided to have a Maui Destination Wedding because they really wanted a beach wedding in a beautiful location. And it doesn’t get better than Ironwoods! We set up on the left side of the beach because they loved having the cliffs in the background during their ceremony. It was seriously so stunning, just see for yourself!

From the very start of their wedding we could tell this couple shares a very special bond. The expression of complete love on our groom’s face when he saw his bride for the first time, said it all! And we can’t get over how much joy Vicky was radiating through her smile. (Take a peek of this moment in the gallery below).
When these two met 6 years ago while taking a class together at a community college, they started out as study buddies and eventually started dating. Vicky is now a nurse and Joseph is a pharmacist and they love going to the lake, spending time with friends, and playing with their dog. Joseph also has a 9 year old daughter and we are so glad she could share in the excitement of their special day!

It was especially sweet to witness as our newlyweds interacted with each other during wedding portraits. They were so cute together and up for all of our photographer’s ideas, which is always a plus lol. The waves were especially HUGE, which Vicky and Joseph loved!
They made for some really beautiful and dramatic photos and their sunset skies were colorful and pink. We love that this is how they’ll always remember their wedding day at Ironwoods Beach. It was literally a perfect evening for their Maui Destination Wedding!

Thank you, Vicky and Joseph, for letting Simple Maui Wedding celebrate with you and your loved ones! We had an unforgettable time with you both and with you a lifetime of happiness as husband and wife. Congratulations and Warm Aloha!

Lara and Joel are such an amazing couple and we felt truly honored to be part of their special Maui Elopement! Our bride grew up coming here every Christmas with her family. And then when Lara and Joel came together last year, they knew they wanted to elope here 🙂 .

So while they would have loved to spend their wedding with family, a beach wedding in Maui just seemed like the perfect fit! And they are having a party at home next summer. They loved the lava rocks at Ironwoods and their ceremony photos were nothing short of breathtaking near the far left side of the beach! Big waves crashed in the nearby distance as they poured their hearts out to each other.

After a touching exchange of vows, it was time for wedding portraits that are seriously so beautiful! All in all, this truly was a day to remember and we love how intimate their Maui Elopement was! We cannot thank Lara and Joel enough for trusting us to help plan their special day. Congratulations and Warm Aloha!

It was Chelsea’s idea to get married on Maui at an Ironwoods Beach Elopement, she’s always wanted to visit and David was all for the idea! He’s a “go-with-whatever-chels-says” kind of guy 🙂 . He even said himself, “Hey! Happy wife, happy life. Right?” lol.
Before the ceremony started, Chelsea’s dad and our groom took their places prior to our bride arriving. We positioned David in his ceremony spot and just a few steps by the beach entrance, we positioned Chelsea’s dad so he could have a first look moment with his daughter! When Chelsea arrived with her mom, she was so excited and extremely happy when we put the flower crown on! She felt beautiful and went straight into the first look with her dad. They were both emotional and tried to hold back tears because she said if she cried during the first look, then dad would cry, and her makeup would be destroyed.

They collected themselves, linked arms and Reverend Joe Miles blew the conch shell so David knew it was time to turn around and see his bride for the first time. It was a beautiful moment!! And one we know none of them will ever forget. They had a beautiful evening and it even rained for the first time during their stay. So they were happy to know rain is a sign of good luck!
Chelsea and David loved the idea of having an intimate elopement at Ironwoods Beach and then sharing amazing photos from our sister company and videos from their GoPro at their reception with all their family and friends. And we think this is a great idea because then you get the best of both worlds!

Overall this was truly a day to remember and we are so glad we could be part of it! Thank you, Chelsea and David, for sharing your special day with Simple Maui Wedding. We loved getting to know you both and wish you all the best on the journey ahead! Congratulations and Warm Aloha!

This bride and groom’s Maui Destination Wedding was made truly memorable by the inclusion of our groom’s daughter Victoria! Karli shares a really sweet connection with her and even gifted her a necklace during the getting ready time at the hotel. What a special moment before the ceremony!

Karli and Jason were set up on a date in 2010 and dated for a short time, and then reconnected 2 years ago and have been together ever since! She actually reached out to him to have lunch, and we are so glad she did 🙂 . Karli told us that she always hoped they would end up together, and that if you were to ask Jason he would say he always KNEW they would end up together! How cute is that?!

These two really are meant to be! And we are so glad we could be part of their Maui Destination Wedding. So thank you, Karli and Jason, for letting us celebrate with you on such a special occasion! Congratulations and Warm Aloha!

Maria and Andrew had been here several times and were happy their guests could enjoy the island they love so much for this Maui Beach Wedding! They even planned an itinerary for them to experience the road to Hana and a cruise on a catamaran together! Sounds like a blast to us 🙂 . And we just love how thoughtful this couple was in planning and sharing their special day with loved ones.

Maria and Andrew wished for a little rain on their wedding day, and were so happy to have a few sprinkles drizzle on them during their ceremony! This was the first blessing from above, the second came after saying “I do” when our groom was standing by the ocean for a peaceful moment. He was actually talking to his best friend who passed away asking, “Show me a sign that you’re here, whether it be a turtle or a whale…” Literally minutes after, a rainbow appeared! It was such a beautiful sight and almost made us cry, so we are thrilled our sister company snapped a photo of it. See if you can spot it.

To end the evening, our newlyweds went to the Sea House Restaurant. It’s a place they always go when on the island and Maria loves the Mac Nut Crusted Fish there! So what better way to celebrate than with a favorite meal, plus they wanted to share another one of their favorite places with their guests. One thing’s for sure this is a a trip and wedding none of them will ever forget 🙂 . We know we sure won’t! Thank you, Maria and Andrew, for sharing your Maui Beach Wedding with us. Congratulations and Warm Aloha!
