Chelsea and Troy, both dedicated employees in Corrections and Rehabilitation for the State of California, started as best friends before realizing there was something much deeper between them. As they spent more time together, their friendship blossomed into a love that neither could deny. With smiles that could light up any room, their bond became unbreakable…

Every year, Chelsea and Troy embark on an annual trip to Utah. They indulge in their love for off-roading along the Paiute trails. Little did Chelsea know that this particular trip would be extra special. As they paused to capture a photo against a breathtaking mountain backdrop, Troy set up his camera on the front of his quad. In a twist of surprise, he dropped down on one knee, presenting a ring and asking Chelsea to spend forever with him. Overwhelmed with joy, she eagerly said yes, sealing their fate as partners in crime for life!

Just What We Wanted

For Chelsea and Troy, a lavish wedding wasn’t their style. They craved a private, intimate celebration that reflected their love for each other and the great outdoors. We are delighted to share Gloria and Randy’s Maui 50th wedding anniversary and their love story! The officiant welcomed everyone with a warm smile, setting the tone for a joyous occasion. They shared stories about marriage and the incredible milestone of reaching 50 years together…

With their love and warmth setting the stage, it was Randy’s turn to share his feelings. As a retired nurse practitioner and family doctor, he’s always busy taking care of his loved ones. From picking up his grandson Milo from school to walking the dogs, Randy is a man of many tasks. And let’s not forget his love for river trips, a hobby he shares with many of the celebration attendees, though not with Gloria. River trips aren’t her cup of tea. Instead, Gloria relishes lunch dates with her friends, savoring good food and engaging in conversations.

Both Randy and Gloria have traveled the world, collecting memories along the way. As high school sweethearts, their love story began long ago, and they’ve been inseparable ever since. With their daughter Samantha and grandson Milo by their side, the celebration truly became a family affair. The happiness was palpable as everyone gathered on the beach to commemorate this remarkable milestone…

Highschool Loves

Throughout the evening, Gloria and Randy looked absolutely radiant! Gloria was the picture of elegance in her cream dress with her white blooms, and Randy looked very sharp in his pale green suit. It was as if they were transported back to their high school days, with love and affection lighting up their faces. Their connection was undeniable, and their joy was infectious as they read their endearing words aloud…

Their intimate celebration took place at Polo Beach, where the golden light of the setting sun created an enchanting ambiance. Each moment captured in that golden glow became a beautiful memory to be treasured for years to come!

As you can see, it was just as much a marriage celebration as it was a family celebration! Seeing their family gathered by their side to commemorate this milestone was so sweet! Maui is one of their favorite places to vacation; they’ve visited Maui many times and especially love Wailea. So this celebration with their family and friends in a place they love made it feel even more special!

They live in separate countries but will be united in their next big adventure in their love story! They realized they wanted to be more than just colleagues and embark on an incredible journey together, starting with a magical wedding in paradise.

Irina and Luigi were excited as they stepped onto the stunning beach for their Maui elopement ceremony. It was their first time experiencing the beauty of Hawaii, and what better occasion to celebrate their love than in this tropical paradise? Their dreams of visiting a paradise island were finally coming true! Now they will return home as husband and wife!

Although West Maui is closed due to the fires, our wonderful couple’s Maui elopement took place on the stunning south shore at Po’olenalena Beach!

Their elopement day was filled with romance, simplicity, and elegance, all centered around their deep love for each other. Irina stole everyone’s breath away in her fairytale-like dress, looking absolutely stunning. Luigi, on the other hand, looked handsome in his blue suit, exuding charm and sophistication. Kayla and Zach are a couple who share a deep love for the magnificent Hawaiian Islands. From the moment they met, they knew that Hawaii would be an essential part of their lives together. Their spiritual bond with the Islands added a unique aspect to their Maui beach wedding, making it a truly magical experience! But first, let’s talk about Kayla’s beautiful entrance! That dress is a showstopper! It was untraditional yet still felt bridal, with pink roses speckled all over. Very romantic! She looked amazing with her floral crown as she walked down the sandy aisle…

I Knew It Was You

Their Maui beach wedding was nothing short of magical! They chose Maluaka Beach as the setting for their special day. This beach on the island’s South Side is known for its stunning views of the ocean, sunsest, and tranquil atmosphere, making it the perfect setting for Kayla and Zach to exchange their vows. They had a few close friends and family in attendance, and everyone was so excited to see these two tie the knot finally!

When you know you know.…our lovely pair knew of each other from the gym and through friends, but Zach said he knew right away the moment he met Kayla that she was the one! Hawaii gave it’s beautiful blessing to these two lovebirds and now they are husband and wife!

The newlyweds look like they stepped out of a dream in these portraits! Well, it was a dream and now it’s reality! It felt surreal to the happy pair and the joy was all over their faces. We are so happy to have brought their vision of a Hawaiian wedding to life. This was surely a sunset to remember!

True love is a beautiful thing, and it was on full display at our lovely couple Luisa and Fred’s 50th Maui vow renewal ceremony! Fifty years of marriage is an incredible milestone, and we were honored to coordinate this special moment for these two. It was a joyous and intimate occasion filled with tender and loving moments…

The atmosphere was warm and loving as family and friends gathered to celebrate Luisa and Fred’s enduring love story and their commitment to each other over the past five decades. The couple’s children and grandchildren beamed with pride and love as they watched their parents and grandparents renew their vows. Everyone looks so thrilled in these portraits to be there and witness such an incredible milestone in their lives!

When I Look At You

As Luisa made her entrance, looking stunning in her pale gold lace dress and carrying a bouquet of white blooms, Fred’s face lit up with joy and anticipation as if he just saw his bride for the first time all those years ago! It was a beautiful moment that brought tears to many eyes…

The ceremony at Wailea Beach Resort was filled with sentimental touches as Luisa and Fred exchanged vows and reminisced about the sweet moments of their growing bond. Their daughters, Tawny and Eileen coordinated the entire event with our team, taking care of every detail. They wanted their parents to have the wedding they always wanted to have! How sweet is that? This was their day to celebrate!

Their 50th Maui vow renewal ceremony was a celebration of their journey together, and it was clear that their marriage had only grown stronger over time. The proximity to the ocean added an extra layer of beauty and romance to the event! Lastly, the sound of the waves crashing in the background and the ocean breeze blowing gently through the air enhanced their loving words for all to hear…

After their sweet ceremony, their beautiful family was ready to celebrate these two! But first, we walked around the oceanfront property to capture some beautiful portraits of our happy couple. Janelle and David’s Maui elopement was truly a celebration of love, life, and new beginnings. Both retired police officers and our lovely couple decided to take the plunge and elope in beautiful Hawaii! After being married before and doing the “conventional” wedding tradition, Janelle suggested they go somewhere to elope and marry. That’s when they came across our site, Simple Maui Wedding, after researching different options on the internet. They had never visited Maui or any of the Hawaiian islands before, but it had always been a dream for both of them to visit! As you can imagine, we were delighted to bring that vision to life!

Our lovely couple, who hail from Downunder, met while working together, and their friendship blossomed into love. They got engaged on Valentine’s Day 2021 during a picnic lunch overlooking the ocean – sounds divine! And so their journey to becoming husband and wife began…

Their Maui elopement was on beautiful evening, with Janelle looking stunning in a simple yet elegant dress and David looking relaxed in his casual, crisp beachy button-up. They exchanged their vows at one of our team favorites, Southside Beach, with crystal-clear waters and swaying palm trees in the distance. Needless to say, this idyllic setting was exactly what these two dreamed of when they thought of tying the knot in Maui!

Their newlywed portraits showcased not just their love but also their fun personalities! The happy pair were relaxed, happy, and authentic with one another. The cliffs are looming yet protective, the ocean powerful but beautiful, and the winds are often intense and decisive. It’s a place where you can thoughtfully and joyfully marry, where you can stand before forever and confidently say “I Do.”

Fallon & Travis’ Maui Hawaii Wedding marked the beginning of their marriage, but it also had another significant meaning. See, this sweet couple is blending their families. Fallon brings her two young kids, and Travis has his teen daughter. The three guests-of-honor were such a joy — supporting their parents, shining during the ceremony, and adding a lot of personality to the entire event.

The kids were a big part of why Fallon & Travis chose a Maui destination wedding. They were able to get away and have a family vacation, creating a wedding memory that the kids could fully enjoy.

Now, when they look back at their wedding day, Fallon & Travis will see their own love story, but also the greater story of their family, of a support system that extends to all their loved ones.

Choosing Ironwoods Beach For a Maui Hawaii Wedding

We talked a little earlier about how special Ironwoods Beach is. This secluded spot tends to have high winds and hit-or-miss sunsets. But it also has a totally unique landscape — tall cliffs, glistening light gold sand, bright blue water, and lush green accents.

Fallon & Travis were a perfect fit for this romantic, one-of-a-kind spot. After their ceremony with Reverend Kuya, they got lots of portraits around the beach. They walked along the sand and then headed up to the top of the sea cliffs, where the sunset views were outrageous.

Janikka and Rainier fell so much in love with Maui when they visited several years ago that when it came to planning their marriage, it was the first place that came to their minds! Not only did they recently celebrate their Maui venue wedding, but they spent their beautiful honeymoon here right after!

A funny thing happened when they went to a luau when they were just dating – the lady at the front desk thought they were married, and they said, “no, we’re just dating,” and she replied, “well, you better do something about that!” Clearly, she could tell how much in love they were…we like to think fate had a hand it their union! It Had To Be Maui

Our couple’s Maui venue wedding was an absolute dream come true! After six years of dating, they knew that Maui was the perfect place to say “I do”. Their ceremony took place on the grassy knoll at Gannon’s, surrounded by lush greenery and stunning views of the ocean. The weather cooperated perfectly, providing a beautiful sunny day for this special occasion.

Janikka looked absolutely breathtaking in her modern white gown, while Rainier looked sharp in his suit. Their love for each other was palpable throughout the entire ceremony as they exchanged vows and shared their first kiss as husband and wife! Who could have guessed after their first visit all those years ago they would tie the knot in Maui? Their friends and family were more than happy to make the big trip to celebrate their Maui venue wedding as you can see by the joy in their smiles…

Off Into The Sunset

After the happy cheers and a few happy tears, we went down to Southside Beach to capture our happy newlyweds’ first moments as husband and wife. It felt utterly surreal for both since they only played at a Maui venue wedding after their first trip here! But it couldn’t have been a more perfect decision.

It’s clear in these beautiful portraits that this couple had been waiting for this moment for a long time, and now that it had finally arrived, they were savoring every second of it. Their love radiated from every photo – a true testament to the power of love and commitment.
