When the idea of a Maui wedding venue popped into Carina’s mind, she knew it was the perfect fit for their laid-back yet romantic style. So, with excitement in their hearts and a little drizzle in the air (which, as they say, is good luck!), they said “I do” at Gather in Kihei. After all, it’s supposedly good luck!

The sprinkle of rain only added to the romance of the moment, making their ceremony even more unique. After exchanging vows, they sought shelter, finding solace in each other’s arms as they waited for the sky to clear.

But when it did, it was like a dream come true. With the sun peeking through the clouds, Carina and Oliver ventured down to Southside Beach for their newlywed portraits. Against the backdrop of the sparkling ocean, they radiated happiness and love.

Carina brought a touch of glam and sparkle to the occasion, while Oliver looked dapper as ever. We love the gold and black theme! Their smiles said it all – they were overjoyed to be starting this new chapter of their lives together!

As retired individuals, both David and Yingyu bring a wealth of life experiences and passions to their union, making their love story even more unique.

David, a former Corrections Officer and military man, is a widower with a large and loving family, while Yingyu, with her background in interior design and a penchant for the guzheng instrument and painting, brings a creative and vibrant energy to their relationship.

Their love story took an unexpected turn when they met online, bridging the distance between Guilin, China, and Seattle, Washington. It was during a romantic getaway to Honolulu/Waikiki that David surprised Yingyu with a sunset proposal aboard a dinner cruise. Amidst cheers from fellow passengers, they shared their first dance, embracing the joy of their newfound love! And now we couldn’t be more excited to see these two tie the knot!

Their Maui elopement day at Southside Beach was a testament to their enduring love and the beginning of a new chapter in their lives together. Yingyu, resplendent in her flowing veil and flower crown, was a vision of beauty against the backdrop of the ocean. Fast forward through years of love, growth, and the joys of raising Mila, Hannah, Brayden, and Jacob, and that dream finally came to life in a ceremony that was everything they could have wished for and more! Finally Happening

Kathy, with a master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy, and Bradley, who started his own electrical business, first met in college. Kathy knew from the moment she saw Bradley that he was the one she would marry, a prediction that came true after a romantic proposal at the top of the Eiffel Tower in Vegas. Since their oldest was born, Maui has been their yearly retreat, making it the perfect setting for their Maui vow renewal.

The day was infused with the essence of Maui, relaxed, elegant, and carefree, yet profoundly meaningful. Their ceremony at Po’olenalena Beach was a testament to their journey together, celebrated in the company of their beautiful children, making the day even more special.

This vow renewal wasn’t just about marking 15 years of marriage; it was a reaffirmation of love and commitment, a celebration of past memories and the promise of many more to come! They had a wonderful celebration with their children. It was a joy to witness their family coming together in a milestone moment! The sunset was amazing to finish off their day too! We recently had the honor of coordinating Mia and Neal’s breathtaking Maui elopement! And let us tell you, it was an absolute dream come true for this sweet couple! These two amazing individuals have a beautiful love story that we are so thrilled to share…

Neal, the plant manager at a historic mill in Fort Collins, has always been deeply connected to the livestock feed industry. Growing up on a farm in Kansas with ten siblings, his passion for animal nutrition runs deep. Mia, on the other hand, is a project manager in an engineering firm specializing in custom robotic welding cells. Both of their career paths have led them to success in their respective fields. Believe it or not, Neal was actually Mia’s boss for four years and actually tried to set her up with his brother! But fate had other intentions for these two!

Our Special Day

But beyond their professional lives, Mia and Neal share a love for the simple joys of life. Weekends spent paddleboarding at the lake, grilling out in their backyard, enjoying live music, and exploring the great outdoors are just a few of the things they cherish together.

Chelsea and Troy, both dedicated employees in Corrections and Rehabilitation for the State of California, started as best friends before realizing there was something much deeper between them. Every year, Chelsea and Troy embark on an annual trip to Utah. They indulge in their love for off-roading along the Paiute trails. Little did Chelsea know that this particular trip would be extra special. As they paused to capture a photo against a breathtaking mountain backdrop, Troy set up his camera on the front of his quad. In a twist of surprise, he dropped down on one knee, presenting a ring and asking Chelsea to spend forever with him. We are delighted to share Gloria and Randy’s Maui 50th wedding anniversary and their love story! The officiant welcomed everyone with a warm smile, setting the tone for a joyous occasion. They shared stories about marriage and the incredible milestone of reaching 50 years together…

With their love and warmth setting the stage, it was Randy’s turn to share his feelings. As a retired nurse practitioner and family doctor, he’s always busy taking care of his loved ones. From picking up his grandson Milo from school to walking the dogs, Randy is a man of many tasks. And let’s not forget his love for river trips, a hobby he shares with many of the celebration attendees, though not with Gloria. River trips aren’t her cup of tea. Instead, Gloria relishes lunch dates with her friends, savoring good food and engaging in conversations.

Both Randy and Gloria have traveled the world, collecting memories along the way. As high school sweethearts, their love story began long ago, and they’ve been inseparable ever since. With their daughter Samantha and grandson Milo by their side, the celebration truly became a family affair. The happiness was palpable as everyone gathered on the beach to commemorate this remarkable milestone…

Highschool Loves

Throughout the evening, Gloria and Randy looked absolutely radiant! Gloria was the picture of elegance in her cream dress with her white blooms, and Randy looked very sharp in his pale green suit. It was as if they were transported back to their high school days, with love and affection lighting up their faces. Kayla and Zach are a couple who share a deep love for the magnificent Hawaiian Islands. From the moment they met, they knew that Hawaii would be an essential part of their lives together. Their spiritual bond with the Islands added a unique aspect to their Maui beach wedding, making it a truly magical experience! Their big day was filled with lots of love, laughter, and aloha, as you’ll see! These two have been looking forward to saying we’re “just Maui’d,” and now they can!

But first, let’s talk about Kayla’s beautiful entrance! That dress is a showstopper! It was untraditional yet still felt bridal, with pink roses speckled all over. Very romantic! She looked amazing with her floral crown as she walked down the sandy aisle…

I Knew It Was You

Their Maui beach wedding was nothing short of magical! They chose Maluaka Beach as the setting for their special day. This beach on the island’s South Side is known for its stunning views of the ocean, sunsest, and tranquil atmosphere, making it the perfect setting for Kayla and Zach to exchange their vows. They had a few close friends and family in attendance, and everyone was so excited to see these two tie the knot finally!

When you know you know.…our lovely pair knew of each other from the gym and through friends, but Zach said he knew right away the moment he met Kayla that she was the one! Hawaii gave it’s beautiful blessing to these two lovebirds and now they are husband and wife!

The newlyweds look like they stepped out of a dream in these portraits! Well, it was a dream and now it’s reality! It felt surreal to the happy pair and the joy was all over their faces. We are so happy to have brought their vision of a Hawaiian wedding to life. This was surely a sunset to remember!
