Hailing from the picturesque Orange County/LA area in California, Leslie and Frank first crossed paths eight years ago. Their shared passion for aerospace brought them together as fate would have it, igniting a connection that would withstand life’s trials. After five years of dating bliss, Frank proposed during a romantic trip to Miami, with just the two of them basking in the sun-kissed beaches. Their engagement lasted three years, marked by unforeseen circumstances such as the global pandemic and the arrival of their adorable son, who is now 15 months old. It was so sweet to see their son join them on their big day, as you’ll see below!

A Family Affair

With their hearts set on a beachfront wedding, Leslie and Frank decided to elope in Maui, just the three of them. Curious how these two met? Jessica and Dorian were brought together through mutual friends, but their connection ran even deeper. With Jessica having a best friend who shares Dorian’s Lebanese background, they understood the tight-knit nature of the Lebanese community. This connection added an extra layer of meaning to their relationship, making it all the more special. Needless to say, they felt a pull to get to know one another only to discover something more…

It was in 2021 that Dorian chose the breathtaking island of Maui to ask Jessica to be his forever. Have you ever wondered how childhood friendships can transform into lifelong love stories? Well, for Sam and Josh, their journey from kindergarten pals to soulmates is nothing short of magical. Sam and Josh’s love story traces back to their small hometown in Northern California, where they met as kindergarteners. From that moment on, their bond grew stronger with each passing year and life’s trials. Josh, a wonderful friend, captured Sam’s heart, and after 11 years together, they couldn’t wait to tie the knot, as you’ll see below finally!

But first, we have to share how Josh proposed! His proposal to Sam was nothing short of perfect. It took place during a sunset stargazing tour on Haleakalā in 2019. With the twinkling Hawaiian sky as their backdrop, Josh seized the opportunity to pop the question. Needless to say, this gave them the idea to have a Maui venue wedding!

Sam and Josh felt incredibly fortunate to plan their dream destination wedding in Hawaii. Returning to Maui seemed like the perfect choice, surrounded by their close friends and family. As nature enthusiasts, they had always envisioned a nature-based wedding, and the tropical paradise of Maui provided the ideal backdrop.

Their wedding venue, Gather, embraces the natural beauty of Maui. The driftwood arch by our talented floral partner Dellables and breathtaking views created an intimate and romantic atmosphere. Surrounded by lush greenery and the love of their family and friends, Sam and Josh exchanged their vows, radiating happiness and love. It was a truly magical setting for their celebration!

How adorable are these two?! You can feel the overwhelming sense of love and joy in these portraits. As Josh noted before their Maui venue wedding, he hoped it would feel “joyous and relaxed…” These two are the picture-perfect examples of it! “We visited Maui 2 years ago and fell in love with the island, the beach, and the people,” Maria and Oscar gushed to our wedding coordinators before their Maui elopement! They absolutely love Hawaii, and it felt like the perfect place to tie the knot. Their sweet kids Summer and Julian joined in their parent’s celebration…it was an inimate family affair full of love and light, as you’ll see!

A Family Affair

Our beautiful couple exchanged their vows in the sunshine and ocean breeze with their kids by their side. They have been together for nearly 16 years, so this moment was a long time coming! But it couldn’t have been more gorgeous of a day. Hearing their words and witnessing their tender, loving glances reminded us why we love what we do!

We love how their sweet kids matched their parents from Maria’s flower crown and Oscar’s outfit! Their Maui elopement was just as much as the beginning of the next chapter of their love story as it was a special family moment. Maria and Oscar are beaming with love in these portraits! After they said their “I dos,” our photographer took the happy pair towards the rocky cliffs at Ironwoods Beach. With the turquoise waters in the distance, this was the perfect spot for their newlywed portraits with all the islands’ natural splendor surrounding them!

We can’t get enough of how stunning our happy couple looks on the rocks with the turquoise ocean at their feet. (Barefoot, of course!) Kelly and Jason’s Maui venue wedding was a truly special day for this amazing couple! As software engineers for different companies, they share a love for spending time with family. It was a beautiful and magical day and the island really showed off! They chose Maui for their destination wedding as it would give their family an excuse to visit the islands together. (We fully support that idea!) Our happy couple met through a mutual friend at a DnD night and got engaged at one of Kelly’s favorite plant nurseries. (She loves plants, so it was so thoughtful and sweet!) Fast forward to their incredible day in paradise when they finally became husband and wife…

The oceanfront ceremony at Merriman’s in Kapalua was absolutely beautiful! We loved how they incorporated all the tropical blooms into their special day, making it feel like a real island wedding. All of the bright blooms of their lovely day really popped against the blue sky and ocean…it was a whimsical and elegant touch to the natural splendor of their decor! The ocean breeze, sunshine, and vibrant blooms all added to the romantic atmosphere…

Kelly looks like a Hawaiian goddess in her radiant flower crown! Jason opted for a classic and fresh blue suit – love it!

Nolan and Elizabeth’s love story started during college at Chico State, and after dating for five years, Nolan proposed during their vacation in Maui with Elizabeth’s family present. So sweet and thoughtful! (Once we heard that detail, we knew their celebration would be full of love and warmth.) The yes moment was low-key and spontaneous, perfectly capturing their connection and love for each other… which also explains why they chose to tie the knot in Maui! Elizabeth and Nolan are in their late 20s, with Nolan working as a Wine and Spirits Sales Representative in Pismo Beach, California, while Elizabeth is working on her teaching credential. Their wedding day was absolutely beautiful, with Merriman’s Kapalua providing a stunning backdrop for their ceremony and reception. Finally, the day arrived, and we were honored to be a part of this special moment in their lives! It was a beautiful sunny day at Lahaina Shores Beach, and everyone was filled with joy and happiness to be there. The stunning flower heart on the sand with white blooms was a perfect addition to the beautiful setting, creating a romantic and dreamy ambiance! We could feel their love radiating as they exchanged their heartfelt words with their three kiddos in attendance…

Ring Security

One of the most special moments of Jessica and Adam’s Maui vow renewal was the involvement of their kids. Those signs! The “Ring Security” signs added a playful and lighthearted element to the ceremony!

We couldn’t help but notice this was a special family moment as they stood together in the sunshine on the beach, surrounded by family. The love between Jessica and Adam was palpable, and it was evident that their kids were overjoyed to be a part of this special moment in their parents’ lives. Renewing vows is not just about reaffirming love and commitment but also celebrating family and the journey that has brought them to this moment. Love was all around our happy newlyweds! Their friends and family were overjoyed to join them at Ironwoods Beach for their special day. Simple beach elegance at its best! We especially loved Adrianna’s stunning haku flower crown, which added a touch of natural beauty to her look!

As Maui wedding coordinators, it was an honor to help make this lovely local couple’s special day a reality. After the ceremony, we took them up to the dramatic cliffs for some romantic newlywed portraits with sweeping views of the deep blue ocean. It was incredibly romantic and beautiful, capturing the magic of their love and commitment to each other in a place they call home…
