He became her rock, the calm in the storm, and over time, her forever. When he proposed in July 2024 in front of the Mendenhall Glacier in Juneau, Alaska, it felt like the perfect next chapter. Brett, a civil engineer and drummer, brings structure and rhythm to everything he does. Emily, an interior designer who specializes in 3D renderings, has an eye for beauty and detail. Together, they create balance, his steady meets her creative, his logic meets her spark. This trip to Maui was extra special: Brett’s second visit, but Emily’s first, a dream come true for someone who’s always loved all things tropical.
