Island Love – Kamala-Lee & Matthew’s Maui Venue Wedding
A Maui venue wedding felt like the perfect next chapter for Kamala-Lee and Matthew, whose love story began long before Instagram was even a thing. These Maui residents first connected on Myspace as teenagers and dated briefly. Although life took them in different directions, they eventually found their way back to each other years later.
After reconnecting in 2012, they built a beautiful life together. Along the way, they raised four wonderful children and spent countless weekends cheering from the sidelines at sports games. Then, during a birthday trip to Oahu, Matthew planned the perfect surprise. He proposed with a sparkling ring and cupcakes from Liliha Bakery. From that moment on, it was clear their story had come full circle.
Their wedding at Rustic Hawaiian Ruins was filled with heartfelt moments and surrounded by Maui’s lush beauty. Beneath swaying palms and vibrant tropical greenery, they exchanged vows in front of family and friends. Meanwhile, every smile, glance, and happy tear reflected the love and commitment they have shared over the years. Their children stood proudly nearby, making the ceremony even more meaningful.
Afterward, the newlyweds wandered through the garden pathways together. They shared quiet moments beneath the trees as soft island light filtered through the leaves. Kamala-Lee looked radiant in her flowing gown, while Matthew could not stop smiling beside her. From the beautiful florals to the romantic portraits, every detail celebrated the life they have built together.
