“We both agreed that our wedding is OUR wedding, so planning a day for others just wasn’t right for us,” said our beautiful couple before their recent Maui elopement! And we couldn’t agree more! Amanda and Matt couldn’t wait to tie the knot, and we were honored to capture every moment! Our happy newlyweds wanted their day to be just about them, without a big extravagant show that didn’t feel authentic to their love story. So, let’s see how their dream wedding unfolded!

Amanda and Matt are two of a kind…they love spending quality time together and raising their 18-month-old son! They both are from a small town in Texas but never knew each other until they met on a dating app. While both were living in Texas, Amanda was blown away that she met a guy from her hometown, where everyone knows everyone! Little did they know what love had in store for them! The rest is history…

Since it was just the two of them, these photos feel extra romantic and dreamy! Amanda looks ethereally backlit by the sun…simply stunning!

They have that look – the newlywed bliss look! Both radiate happiness in every photo as they savor these first moments as husband and wife together! Our beautiful couple had never been to Maui before, so this entire day felt like a total dream at Southside Beach at sunset…

To our dear newlyweds, Amanda and Matt – it was a joy to coordinate and capture your Maui elopement! We are so pleased that your wedding was everything you wanted and more! Congratulations! May you continue to grow in love in the years to come!

Jessica and Bobby’s Maui venue wedding was a sign that dreams do come true! We recently had the pleasure of coordinating and photographing their special day. Our delightful couple love to travel together, and when they came to Maui for the first time, they felt an instant connection and love for the island, so it was the perfect place to celebrate their wedding! It was a gorgeous day in paradise for our beautiful newlyweds, as you’ll see in the following photos…so keep reading!

These photos during the ceremony look so dreamy! The colors are so soft in the luminescent light! It was an incredibly sacred moment as they exchanged their loving vows to forever love, honor, and cherish each other…

Our charming couple not only fell in love with each other but with Maui too! They wanted an intimate yet elegant setting with a view for their wedding, so the grassy lawn at Gannon’s was perfect. And since they invited a small number of close friends and family, there was plenty of space to celebrate!

What struck us most as we walked down to Southside Beach for a few more portraits of their Maui venue wedding was how clearly in love they are with each other! Our newlyweds met at work three years ago and became friends…although clearly there was something more!
They are completely lost in each other’s eyes in these photos…Jessica looks radiant with the long veil flowing behind her in the ocean breeze, don’t you think? It completely added an extra element of romance to the tropical setting…

From all of us at Simple Maui Wedding, we wish Jessica and Bobby all the love and happiness in the years to come! May you both carry the aloha spirit with you too! We hope to see you again on our island one day…

Coworkers to newlyweds! Last week we had the privilege of photographing Jeremy and Jessica’s Maui elopement! Their simple and beachy elopement was nothing short of touching; we were honored to be a part of their special day! Please keep reading to see how their big day unfolded…

Our charming couple met at work, actually! They felt a spark and began spending quality time together outside of the office…and nearly seven years later, they are taking the next big step of commitment!

Even though they had never been to Hawaii, their Maui elopement was exactly what they had hoped for! The intimacy of the day focused on their profound love for each created magnetic moments through our lens!

These soft, beachy colors of DT Fleming Beach were so flattering for photos! We love the tranquility and peace they evoke…

The single ukelele was a classic Hawaiian touch to their first kiss as husband and wife!

We wandered down the beach with our beautiful newlyweds, who were showered with love by their friends and family. Jessica looked so beautiful in her lace gown with 3/4 length sleeves. And Jeremy looked equally handsome in his soft grey suit that matched the pastel colors of the setting!

Our happy couple said they were equally as happy as they were nervous on their big day, as you can imagine! But they wouldn’t trade this moment for anything in the whole world!

We love these photos of our beautiful newlyweds soaking up the calm and beautiful ambiance of the moment. These precious photos will be cherished for years to come!

We were so blessed to be able to capture every loving glance…

To end their amazing day, the sunset was pink and golden to send out beautiful newlyweds on their next chapter with all the love and aloha! Mahalo Jessica and Jeremy, for choosing Simple Maui Wedding for your Maui elopement!

The island’s southern shores were an idyllic setting for Regina & Michael’s Maui Wedding. They’re a cute couple, full of energy and love, and Southside beach gave them a spacious, pretty spot to celebrate with their family.
We had such a good time planning this beach ceremony, and we were excited when the time finally came to meet Regina & Michael. They were as lovely in person as they were during our virtual planning!
Now it’s time to share some highlights from their gorgeous Maui wedding — check out some favorite images that Karma Hill photography captured!

Reverend Kuya Robert officiated Regina & Michael’s wedding ceremony. He included faith-based and Hawaiian elements, creating a spiritual experience grounded in their surroundings. Plus, it seemed so personal for Regina & Michael, like Kuya was speaking directly to their soul.
We are all about soulful, beautiful couples, so we’re obsessing over Regina & Michael’s Maui wedding. They seemed simply happy to marry in such a gorgeous place, and their joy shines through in each image.
Keep scrolling to see even more favorite memories from their ceremony!

After Regina & Michael became officially married, there was still a lot of fun to be had! First, we needed some sweet family shots, so we got all kinds of group combinations there on the beach. Then it was time to get some newlywed photos.
This is the highlight of each Maui wedding, because it gives the couple a chance to unwind and take in their surroundings, plus we get to know them even better.
The Wailea sunset was gorgeous this evening — glowing and colorful, peaceful yet vibrant. It’s the kind of setting that invites anyone to step into romance. But as a freshly married couple, Regina & Michael were one with nature’s beauty.
Soon it was time to bid aloha to the stunning couple. They were off to celebrate with their adorable guests, and we were left with wonderful memories of their Maui wedding!

Congratulations, Regina & Michael! Mahalo for choosing us as your coordinator. We wish you all the best for endless happiness!

We are so excited to share Nelanina & Johnny’s Maui Four Seasons Wedding. This elegant event featured Hawaiian traditions, classic romance, and the unbeatable scenery of Wailea.
As palm trees swayed in the distance and a small group of loved ones watched on, Nelanina & Johnny vowed to love each other for a lifetime. Of course, Karma Hill Photography was there, capturing each sweet moment of the ceremony.
Check out some of the beautiful images below, and keep scrolling to see the stunning sunset Nelanina & Johnny were blessed with!

As a Maui wedding coordinator, we get to be there as couples and their families experience an array of emotions. One of our favorite parts of the day is the moment the couple finally gets to be together at the ceremony. They’ll arrive a little jittery and very excited, and then a wave of calm hits them as their eyes meet and they join hands.
Nelanina & Johnny had an incredible energy at their Maui Four Seasons wedding. You can tell they are simply meant to be, and some kind of greater force brought them together.
Their ceremony was filled with so much romance and trust, joy and peace. We’re so grateful we got to be a part of it!

Nelanina & Johnny traveled from Miami to have a Maui Four Seasons Wedding. They were treated to incredible weather, amazing sunsets, and memories they’ll treasure for a lifetime.
If you had asked Nelanina a few years ago, she would have told you she’d be living in Hawaii by now. That was once her plan. But then she found something better.
Was it fate that led them each to paddle board in Biscayne Bay that day? Were they drawn to each other before they had even met?
They crossed paths in nature, doing something they both loved. And soon, Nelanina decided her future was in Miami — not Hawaii.
Of course, she still ended up in Hawaii. But in a different way. Journeying through for their Maui Four Seasons Wedding, they were able to enjoy the best of our islands together.
And they’ll continue to journey through life together, building their business and collecting memories from around the world.
Their destination wedding in Maui is just part of their grand life adventure, a series of moments and experiences both big and small.

Congratulations, Nelanina & Johnny! Your wedding in Maui was so beautiful, and you are too! We hope to see you in Hawaii again soon

When Ally & Isaiah decided to elope in Maui, they knew they wanted it to be special. But that didn’t mean it needed to be complicated. This kind, vibrant couple understands the value of simplicity. The two of them dressed up in a beautiful location, some incredible Hawaii wedding photography, tropical flowers, and the natural magic of Maui — what more do you need?
So during a relaxing, fun-filled vacation, Ally & Isaiah met at a quiet beach and became husband & wife.
We are so excited to share these images of their Maui elopement. They brought so much beauty and laughter to each moment, and it shines through in every photo.

Rev. Robert “Kuya” Alamodin officiated Ally & Isaiah’s ceremony. He helped them Elope in Maui by providing a heartfelt Hawaiian-inspired ceremony on the shores of Poʻolenalena Beach. He announced the bride’s arrival by blowing his Pu (conch shell) and offered a Hawaiian Blessing.
Ally & Isaiah’s ceremony featured the traditional ring exchange and the island lei exchange. We love how they had a mix of customs — this way, they could enjoy the ceremony moments they always dreamed of and the ones unique to Hawaii.
They even included a cake cutting on the beach. This was a great way to have those cute reception moments in their simple seaside elopement.
Ally & Isaiah were glowing through each moment of their wedding. Seeing their bliss could convince anyone to elope in Maui too!

Poʻolenalena Beach was a beautiful location for Ally & Isaiah’s Maui beach elopement. This scenic stretch of sand is located in Makena. There are lava rock formations, lush greenery, a rustic wooded area, and amazing views of Kahoʻolawe and Molokini in the distance.
A light cloud cover helped make their photos extra dreamy. A lot of time, when couples plan to elope in Maui, they dream of bright sunny skies. But Ally & Isaiah’s wedding proves that there’s a unique beauty even on cloudy days.
Plus, these two sweethearts brought all the light we needed!
It was so much fun coordinating Ally & Isaiah’s elopement, and we loved spending the morning with them. Check out even more of their Elope in Maui photography below!

We are so lucky that Anna & Julian chose us to be their Maui Wedding Coordinator. They were a joy to work with, and their elegant ceremony was a dream.
This was everything a Hawaii wedding should be: laid back yet chic, scenic and serene, and filled with laughter and tears of joy. Ready to see some highlights from Anna & Julian’s big day? Check out some of their shots from Karma Hill Photography below!

Anna and Julian chose not to see each other before the ceremony. This added a few more nerves but a lot of excitement to the day. Julian was so sweet as he waited for his bride on the beach, and Anna was so excited to walk to her handsome groom.
Their live Hawaii wedding musician played “Sea of Love” as Anna walked up to the altar. Then Reverend Kuya opened the ceremony by blowing the Pu, or conch shell.
Dellables created a flower semicircle on the beach for the couple to stand in. It was the perfect accent to the beach setting, and it matched Anna’s bouquet perfectly.
And then it was time for the big moment when Anna & Julian said “I Do.” They sealed their vows with a kiss, then basked in their newlywed glow. We loved it all from start to finish, and we’re so grateful we got to be their Maui Wedding Coordinator!

This Seattle couple met at the University of Washington. They love swimming, bowling, hiking, and video games. Swimming is such a big part of Anna’s life that Julian proposed at their local swim club — it was all part of a romantic and elaborate scavenger hunt he planned for her.
Maui is also a big part of this couple’s life. Anna grew up visiting the island regularly, and eventually Julian joined them on their family vacations. So it was only appropriate that they wed in this magical too. Once they had their Maui Wedding Coordinator booked, they were ready to pack their bags and begin their romantic getaway!
Their wedding had an especially beautiful sunset. So after they got some fun family photos taken, they were ready for some alone time on the beach with their photographer. Keep scrolling to see some of their beautiful Maui wedding photography!

“We would tell any other couples to just take a breath and enjoy it. Go with the flow. You’re in Maui, marrying the love of your life. It doesn’t get any better than that!”
– Anna & Julian

After the sun went down, the newlyweds and their guests had dinner at Ka’ana Kitchen. They extended their time with Karma Hill Photography to capture some cake-cutting shots at their reception.

Congratulations, Anna & Julian! We had so much fun at your Maui Wedding and can’t wait to welcome you back to the island again soon!

Christie & Christopher are an incredible couple, and we’re so happy we got to be a part of their dreamy Maui Elopement. They had a little bit of everything: professional styling, rain and shine, a traditional ceremony with some Hawaiian-inspired elements, and a love that’s brighter than even the sunniest day.
And Karma Hill Photography was there to capture it all! If you need us, we’ll just be over here, swooning over Christie & Christopher’s breathtaking wedding photos.

Even the smallest, sweetest weddings deserve great getting-ready photography. This is the chance for the bride to revel in her head-to-toe style and capture bridal portraits as unique and stunning as her. And Christie understood the assignment!
We’re so glad we got to capture these exciting final moments before she headed off to the beach to marry the love of her life.
While Christie was putting the final touches on her bridal style, Christopher was at the beach, anxiously awaiting her arrival. We love the moment when he first saw her at the ceremony. It was like all his nerves evaporated and he was left with only blissful love. We’re getting chill bumps looking at the Maui elopement photos because it was so sweet!

Ok, we definitely hoped for a bright sunny day for Christie & Christopher’s Maui elopement, but we’re actually super obsessed with the colors and lighting at the beach. The clouds settled over the calm water, filtering the light into dreamy hues of blues and green. It was peaceful and beautiful, just like Christie & Christopher’s love for each other.
Besides, they are so bright and full of life that they provided all the light we needed at the beach for their Maui elopement.
Keep scrolling to see how fun these two are! From their small cake cutting to their walk along the beach as newlyweds, each moment is a core memory that they’ll treasure for a lifetime.

Christie & Christopher wed at Poʻolenalena Beach in South Maui. This large stretch of sand boasts views of Kahoʻolawe, Molokini, Pu’u Ola’i, and the West Maui Mountains. Plus, there are tall palm trees, vibrant green shrubbery, and dramatic lava rock formations. It’s a location that’s both playful and romantic, so it was the perfect spot for these love birds.
They shared a dance in the rain, and then the clouds held back long enough for us to get a majestic sunset picture that’s sure to get framed. It was such a fun Maui elopement from start to finish, and we are so happy we get to share these pictures with Christie & Christopher!

Relaxed, simple, and fun are a few words that describe Wenting and Jacob’s venue wedding in Hawaii! Gannon’s lush lawn was the location for this event. Then, the soft sunset decorated the sky and created the perfect ambiance. Most importantly, our gorgeous couple had a radiant glow in every portrait captured by Karma Hill Photography. Continue scrolling to experience this event for yourself.

Wenting and Jacob decided to have a wedding in Hawaii because it’s the perfect location! Their ultimate goal was to have an intimate ceremony at a destination they could also spend their honeymoon. However, Maui’s tranquil environment and adventurous activities drew them in! This tropical getaway was their first time on the island — they couldn’t wait to experience this spot for themselves! Based on their smiles in these photos, you can tell they fell in love with this place.

Our delightful duo met during their time at the University of Connecticut! They were both Accounting Majors and happened to enroll in the same Federal Income Taxes class for the Fall of 2017. The universe works in magical ways because our passionate pair was in the same group for a semester-long project! Finally, on January 2, 2018, Wenting and Jacob began dating.
Then on August 21, 2021, Jacob popped the question. Our handsome groom thought the best place to propose would be the same spot they met! After a calming summer-night walk around campus, Jacob asked Wenting for her hand in marriage. From there, the rest is history!

Currently, Jacob is a Senior Tax Associate at ASSA ABLOY, Inc. He enjoys mountain biking, hiking, and attending concerts in his free them. Wenting is a Tax Associate with KPMG and loves to paint! Our radiant newlyweds like going on adventures and trying new cuisine. Having a venue wedding in Hawaii was perfect because they got to explore the island and taste Maui’s delicious food!

Jamie and Danielle’s destination wedding in Maui was perfect! This event was intimate, whimsical, and simply elegant. Chayce from Manutea Nui E made this tranquil occasion musical as he played the ukulele. In addition, surrounding our delightful duo were their loved ones — who were thrilled to support and celebrate with them! Most importantly, we adore every meaningful moment of this beautiful sunset affair. Keep scrolling to experience this occasion for yourself.

Jamie and Danielle met one other because they both have a passion for fitness and healthy living. They connected and got to know one another as friends, even though they lived in different states. Eventually, they got to a place where they could invest time and build a strong friendship. Our passionate pair felt comfortable confiding in each other and being openly honest. After five years, our charming couple took a leap of faith and went on a date. Jamie and Danielle say it’s the best decision they’ve ever made!

In the summer of 2019, Jamie and Danielle visited Maui — they instantly fell in love with the island and everything they’d experienced! Once they left, they felt this spot would be their special place. When Jamie and Danielle imagined their wedding, they knew they wanted it to be a celebration focused on the love and support they get. They knew an intimate ceremony in a destination they adore would be a magical way to tie the knot!

Danielle says the moment she got engaged was kind of a surprise, but not really. Our beautiful bride picked out her ring. However, Jamie got to propose during fall — his favorite time of the year! Our handsome groom popped the question on a historic, scenic high bridge in their hometown. Since Danielle is so cerebral, Jamie created multiple plans and layers to set up so she wouldn’t know it was coming!

Gina and Magno’s Maui vow renewal was an unforgettable moment to witness! We adore watching couples take time to reflect on the love they have for one another. Since our delightful duo has been married for twenty-five years, they had a beautiful journey to commemorate! Most importantly, we enjoyed being part of their celebration! It was meaningful, intimate, and romantic. Keep scrolling to experience this event for yourself.

Polo Beach was the location for Gina and Magno’s special day! We like this location because it has a long shoreline and stunning scenery. You can see the striking lava rocks, lush greenery, and cerulean waves. Not to mention, our charming couple’s ceremony took place during golden hour! The sun’s rays left a warm glow on the seaside — creating a romantic ambiance. As the evening continues, you’ll see a delicate array of hues painting the sky. The sunset enhanced the dreamy scene effortlessly!

Gina and Magno have been married for twenty-five glorious years! One of our favorite things about this event is the day they had it. Our passionate pair had their vow renewal on August 10th — the day of their wedding anniversary. It made this occasion heartwarming to know they were commemorating their marriage and renewing their love on the same day! After Gina and Magno’s ceremony, they continued the festivities with more guests at Monkeypod!

Attending Gina and Magno’s Maui vow renewal was their daughters, grandkids, and a boyfriend! However, only their oldest daughter was at their wedding twenty-five years ago. Then their second daughter was a baby, so she had to stay home. This sunset affair was significant because all of Gina and Magno’s children could be with them! We know it meant a lot to this gorgeous couple to have their kids and grandchildren celebrating alongside them!
