Sarah and Nasir met at work while he was her boss (!), and a year later, he actually left her area so they could date, believe it or not! They’ve been together since 2016, and on Valentine’s Day 2020, Nasir proposed on their balcony with only their daughters and puppies present – it was the perfect romantic moment. Fast forward to this beautiful day, they took another step in their love story, as you’ll see below…

Their Maui beach wedding at Maluaka Beach was equally as beautiful, with Sarah looking radiant in her floral crown and Nasir looking dapper in his linen suit. The golden sunset provided a gorgeous backdrop for their newlywed portraits. And they even had a slice of cake to celebrate their nuptials!

Before awing over their big day, let’s share a little backstory of our beautiful pair! Our happy couple met at a party through friends. There was an instant connection, and sparks flew…Their engagement was just as special – they got engaged in Kauai on a dinner cruise off the Napali coast! They love Hawaii, and it will forever be a cherished place in their love story.

Their Maui beach wedding was a beautiful bright morning; they couldn’t have asked for a clearer day! The natural beauty of the island is all the decor they need! The water, the white sand, and the sound of the gentle waves at Maluaka Beach enhanced the dreamy atmosphere…

As you can see, morning weddings on the beach are particularly special since the colors tend to be brighter and more vivid in the morning light. Generally, there isn’t much cloud cover, so the sunshine can be very bright, casting a sunny glow over everything and creating a happy atmosphere! This warm and inviting light makes every moment feel magical, from exchanging vows to the first kiss as newlyweds like Malia and Jared!

The happy pair soaked up all the love and joy of their special day as they walked further down the beach for their newlywed portraits. It’s the cusp of summer, and love is in the air, so we can’t help but feel giddy and happy for Kaitlyn and Peter! This lovely couple met in medical school, and their love story continued to blossom when Peter surprised Kaitlyn with a proposal at a photoshoot in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris. How romantic is that?

But the romance didn’t stop there. Last year, they visited Maui and fell in love with the tropical paradise. So, they thought, why not get married here? They wanted something simple and elegant that reflected their love and commitment to each other. And most importantly, a day that was just for them! So, we were beyond delighted to bring their vision for their Maui beach wedding to life!

The setting could not have been more perfect than the beautiful Maluaka Beach on Maui’s South Shore, which provided a magical and tropical setting for their vows! Kaitlyn looked gorgeous in her lace gown with an elegant train, and Peter looked dapper in his classic black suit. Even though it was a relaxed ceremony on the beach, they were a sight to behold!

They both looked incredibly happy and their love shone through our lens, especially through the laughter and smiles! They are a lovely couple inside and out!

The sunset was breathtakingly beautiful and added a touch of romance to their already special day. It was as if the island was sending them off with a blessing into married life in a riot of colors! These two love traveling and exploring new places together, but Maui will forever hold a special place in their hearts. The warm sun, the fresh ocean breeze, and the soothing sound of the waves created a beautiful atmosphere that amplified the romance in the air… They couldn’t help but want to dance and soak in the moment’s magic!

After years of growing and thriving together, Josh & Taylor decided it was time to get married. This active, driven couple knew they wanted to wed in a place they love. So they chose to have a Maui Destination Wedding.

Their celebration was simple yet meaningful, small in size but vast in all it represented. And it was our great honor to coordinate it.

So on a glowing Maui evening, we met Josh & Taylor on Maluaka Beach, where they vowed to love and treasure each other for the rest of their lives. Now it’s time to relive the day through their Maui destination wedding photography!

From Teen Sweethearts to Lifelong Love

Josh & Taylor met in 2010, when they were teenagers working at the same golf course. It took them one month to start dating, but they took their time before getting married. After all, they were so young, and they had a lot of growing up to do.

But they grew up together, and that’s what we love about Josh & Taylor’s love story. They began developing similar values, encouraging each other through trials and successes, and they fell more and more in love.

And now, 13 years later, they are finally tying the knot – making their bond official and celebrating their relationship.

A Maui Destination Wedding was perfect for this adventurous pair, as it allowed them to explore the islands, relax, and truly enjoy their big day.

And it was perfect for us too, since it meant we got to be a part of it! We’re so glad we got to meet these two and be a part of such an important milestone.

The Details That Matter for a Maui Destination Wedding

Josh & Taylor were drawn to the scenic simplicity of a Maui beach wedding, and they had the most gorgeous day.

Our favorite thing about these small celebrations is how customizable they are. Josh & Taylor could choose the details and traditions that meant the most to them and forego anything they didn’t want in their wedding.

So they had a heartfelt ceremony, beautiful flowers, a few loved ones present, and incredible photography.

But best of all, they brought their wonderful, shining spirits along. After all, it was Josh & Taylor who made this Maui Destination Wedding such a joy.

These two are returning to Idaho soon, but they’ll carry with them the memories and bond they formed here in the islands. The peace and energy of the water, the glow of the sunset, and the guidance of the trade winds will always be a part of their marriage.

Kelsey took our breath away (and Naj’s!) in her sleek gown with her pastel blooms! They are so springy and fresh! Naj is equally handsome and casual cool in his sand colored three peice suit – very dapper!

Maui is a nature lover’s paradise, so it was no wonder these outdoor enthusiasts, Jessica and Anthony, wanted a Maui elopement! It was a pleasure to photograph and coordinate their special day! Our charming couple wanted something simple, intimate, and nature-focused; as you’ll see, that’s exactly how their beautiful day unfolded!

Our sweet couple met randomly at a Mexican restaurant on a quiet Thursday afternoon and struck up a conversation over a margarita. They talked about trails in the area and then exchanged phone numbers to meet up sometime to go hiking. It wasn’t long before Anthony proposed while they were on a trip in Southern California – it was their first night there, outside on the balcony, under the full moon! So romantic… and now they are tying the knot at their Maui elopement!

Being nature lovers, the beautiful tropical flower arrangements were perfect! The vibrant colors made for colorful and happy photos. Jessica looks like a floral goddess in her Haku flower crown!

The gorgeous setting for their Maui elopement is Maluaka Beach, known for its clear, calm waters and epic sunsets. Our newlyweds basked in the golden sunshine while we captured a few intimate portraits! Before their beautiful ceremony, they told us they are the best friends and soulmates, which you can see in these photos!

Hand in hand, our newlyweds were ready to begin their next chapter together! They live in a small town in Colorado, so they fully embraced the beach and tropical atmosphere! In addition, Anthony’s family actually has a condo here and has been coming to the island since he was little. So naturally, they were ready to celebrate with their friends and family!

For a bit of history of our sweet couple, they met on a dating app back in 2018 to built a strong friendship from the beginning! They quickly became best friends and deleted the app within a few weeks. And they got engaged in December 2021 in the San Bernandino National Forest after going on a horseback ride! So romantic!

Our beautiful couple tied the knot at Maluaka Beach, known for its white sandy beaches and crystal clear waters, making it a perfect setting for a romantic ceremony!

A few days ago, we had the absolute pleasure of photographing Angela and Thomas’ Maui elopement! It was a simple and lovely celebration that centered around their love and commitment to each other. Elopements are so incredibly moving because all the noise and fanfare are stripped away and what’s left is what truly matters most at the heart of it! So let’s see a few highlights of their precious day…

At The Heart of It All

It was a glorious afternoon; the sun shone on our sweet pair for their Maui elopement. Elopements are the most intimate of nuptial celebrations that leave us deeply moved. You could feel their deep connection and love for each other when they stepped onto the beach! It was a relaxed, carefree ambiance that was so fitting for our lovely couple. At the heart of it, they wanted something simple centered around just the two. It was so beautiful to witness!

The Look of Love

When they exchanged their leis, Angela looked at Tom with such warmth and love, as you can see below. It took us aback as if they were the only two in the world! That makes a Maui elopement so special…it’s nothing but you and your partner with the waves, sunshine, and sand in paradise. Thomas couldn’t stop staring at his beautiful bride too!

Our hearts lept as Reverend Richardo declared our stunning couple, “husband and wife!” It was the moment they both had been waiting for… you can see the joy and happiness radiating around them!

Angela was a vision in white – she opted for a delicate beaded gown that sparkled in the sunlight! Her tropical bouquet completed her glowing complexion. Doesn’t she look stunning?!

Now it was time to celebrate! We took a few portraits of our newlyweds as the sun began to dip below the horizon. The lighting was so soft and luminescent! Tom looked happy and proud as he embraced his new bride…so romantic! Their genuine love and support for each other shone through our lens the entire afternoon, as you’ll see below…

For their Maui elopement, our charming couple chose Maluaka beach for their special celebration. We love this beach for a Maui elopement because it is a long, beautiful beach on the quieter side. Opposed to the more crowded and touristy beaches, this one is calmer and has the most amazing sunsets!

Fate had a hand in the meeting of these two! Delila and Micah’s Maui elopement was a private and special affair. We couldn’t help but feel the spark and chemistry between our couple! Even our photographer gets just as excited as our couples do on the day! How could you not?! They radiated happiness and warmth throughout their entire private ceremony. How They Met

Believe it or not, Micah was actually training Delila for a position at their local high school. Since it was a professional relationship to start, Delila was taken aback that Micah actually had the nerve to ask her out! She was literally swept off her feet as he proposed to her while skydiving from a plane from 14,400 ft! As fate would have it, these two went from the high school halls to eloping in Maui. They have a sweet blended family of 8 boys and 3 daughters who are overjoyed for their parents!

A Maui Beach Elopement

They were actually quite nervous on the day! Although, we think that those nerves wore off in the Maui sunshine and salty breeze! The embroidery on Delila’s dress and the pop of pink of Micah’s suit were so unique! It’s so refreshing when our couples have a little bit of flair and fun on their wedding day! Effortless style paired with carefree elegance is the perfect choice for a Maui elopement on the beach. It was no wonder why they chose Maui to elope because Delila loves the Hawaiian culture, natural beauty, and the ocean!

Delila and Micah chose Maluaka Beach on the south side for their Maui elopement. We prize this location because of its long stretches of white sandy beaches and its amazing sunsets! The couple loved the peace and tropical backdrop of the lava rocks and palm trees. They are simply glowing! They were so comfortable in front of the camera with each other at their side. Their simple and relaxed Maui elopement was exactly what they envisioned!
