Happy Moments

Having met in 2014 through mutual friends, the couple’s journey led them to a surprise proposal in the bustling city of New York in June 2023, surrounded by 17 dear family and friends on a boat cruising past the Statue of Liberty—an unforgettable moment that set the stage for their soon-to-be intimate Maui beach wedding ceremony!

The golden sands of Maluaka Beach provided the picturesque backdrop for their vows, and as the sun dipped low, the golden hour light created an enchanting atmosphere, making every moment feel like a scene from a fairy tale. Gabby and Jordan, a beautiful couple both inside and out, radiated happiness throughout the ceremony!

We recently had the honor of coordinating Mia and Neal’s breathtaking Maui elopement! And let us tell you, it was an absolute dream come true for this sweet couple! These two amazing individuals have a beautiful love story that we are so thrilled to share…

Neal, the plant manager at a historic mill in Fort Collins, has always been deeply connected to the livestock feed industry. Growing up on a farm in Kansas with ten siblings, his passion for animal nutrition runs deep. Mia, on the other hand, is a project manager in an engineering firm specializing in custom robotic welding cells. Both of their career paths have led them to success in their respective fields. Believe it or not, Neal was actually Mia’s boss for four years and actually tried to set her up with his brother! But fate had other intentions for these two!

Our Special Day

But beyond their professional lives, Mia and Neal share a love for the simple joys of life. Weekends spent paddleboarding at the lake, grilling out in their backyard, enjoying live music, and exploring the great outdoors are just a few of the things they cherish together.

Their journey to Maui for their elopement was a long-awaited one. Originally planning to take their kids on a Hawaiian adventure, their plans were thwarted by the pandemic. But love always finds a way, and they decided to celebrate their special day on the beach surrounded by their closest family members…

Are you just as curious about amazing love stories? Well, let us tell you the heartwarming tale of Phuong and Brandon’s Maui beach wedding. It all started in September 2018 at a children’s science center in Orange County, CA. Phuong was busy working the annual Gala, where Big Bad Voodoo Daddy was set to perform. Little did she know, her life was about to take an unexpected turn.

As fate would have it, Brandon was part of the band crew and had to arrive early to set up for the show. Phuong was assigned to assist them, ensuring everything ran smoothly. Both were hustling and bustling throughout the day, with minimal interaction between them. Exhausted after a 16-hour workday, Phuong left without saying goodbye.

The following day, Phuong decided to keep things professional and texted Brandon to inquire about the loadout. Little did she know that one text would lead to a conversation, which led to their first date and many more after that. Their connection grew stronger, and in May 2022, they found themselves on a romantic vacation in Maui…and you can imagine it led to something truly special!

Where It All Began

Surrounded by the beauty of Maui, Brandon surprised Phuong with a proposal. Overwhelmed with joy, she said, “Yes!” before he could even finish asking. But there was a funny twist – the ring he presented was a silly plastic smiley face ring, causing Phuong to think it was a joke momentarily. However, Brandon quickly reassured her that it was just a placeholder, as he had a real ring on hold pending her ring size confirmation. “Peace was restored in the world,” Phuong jokingly said, and their love story continued to unfold!

So fast forward to their Maui beach wedding, which was a beautiful and intimate event, reflecting their deep love and commitment. They couldn’t think of a better place for their vows than Maui. Maluaka Beach provided the perfect backdrop – elegant yet beachy, just like their love. With only the two of them and the breathtaking Maui sunset, they celebrated the beginning of their next chapter.

Fate had a hand in bringing Aimee and Greg together! They met while working at a country club and kept in touch over 10+ years. It was only until they reconnected in Austin at a concert in 2017 they bonded while solving the riddles on Lone Star bottle caps! So sweet. And our Texas lovers have been inseparable ever since!

While they were planning for a dream Hawaii vacation with Aimee’s parents, they thought Maui would be a beautiful landscape to exchange vows in a small, private ceremony with just their family. From the Lone Star state to the sandy beaches of Hawaii, their love story continues with their beautiful Maui elopement! As you’ll see, they had a beautiful evening surrounded by their loved ones and the aloha spirit…

Aimee and Greg’s Maui elopement was sweetness and light! It was a glorious evening at Maluaka Beach – the light is so golden and soft. Maui’s golden hour is one of our favorite times of the day for wedding photography coverage because everything looks painterly and dreamy. The tropical ambiance was all the decor and features they wanted (and needed!) for this beautiful moment…Their family was thrilled to join them with toes in the sand and the warm sun on their faces. Our happy couple are co-parenting, raising an amazing 15-year-old daughter, Eleanor, who is their pride and joy. All in all, it was the elegant and relaxed ceremony they dreamed of for their special day!

These two couldn’t stop smiling throughout their Maui elopement! The way they look at each other in these portraits says everything… after long-distance dating and star-crossed paths, this moment finally arrived when they can say they are “Just Maui’d!”

Aimee’s lace ankle-length dress looks so elegant and romantic. The delicate embroidering is so stunning on her, don’t you think? And it perfectly compliments Greg’s olive green suit! Although they didn’t mind getting their lovely attire a little wet as they shared a dance and dipped their toes in the waves! I Knew It Was You

Their Maui beach wedding was nothing short of magical! They chose Maluaka Beach as the setting for their special day. This beach on the island’s South Side is known for its stunning views of the ocean, sunsest, and tranquil atmosphere, making it the perfect setting for Kayla and Zach to exchange their vows. They had a few close friends and family in attendance, and everyone was so excited to see these two tie the knot finally!

When you know you know.…our lovely pair knew of each other from the gym and through friends, but Zach said he knew right away the moment he met Kayla that she was the one! Hawaii gave it’s beautiful blessing to these two lovebirds and now they are husband and wife!

The newlyweds look like they stepped out of a dream in these portraits! Well, it was a dream and now it’s reality! It felt surreal to the happy pair and the joy was all over their faces. We’re absolutely thrilled to share the beautiful love story of Ricquell and Garrett and their Maui beach wedding! The couple started dating when they were just 15 years old, bonding over their shared love for guitar and singing. They even participated in school talent shows together! Since then, they’ve navigated life side by side, from college to new jobs to adulting.

After eight wonderful years together, the couple knew it was time to tie the knot in a beautiful location outside of their home state. A Maui wedding was the perfect choice for them as they sought an intimate ceremony in a stunning setting. They both love being by the beach and soaking up the beautiful scenery and atmosphere that comes with it. You’ll love how beautiful their dream day turned out!

Their special day began with a glorious flower circle at the water’s edge at Maluaka Beach, setting the stage for a touching and heartfelt ceremony. It was clear from the moment they said “I do” that they are so happy and in love!

Sealed With A Kiss

Their touching vows were carried off into the ocean breeze and sealed with a kiss! We wanted to take full advantage of all the gorgeous scenery of the picturesque setting for their photo ops! Everyone was ready to celebrate the happy newlyweds! The air was filled with joy, love, and laughter. But first things first! We captured the thoughtful details, some family photos, and of course, their newlywed portraits with the soft golden sun.

Sarah and Nasir’s Maui beach wedding was a beautiful and intimate affair we were so honored to coordinate! They chose our services based on our stellar reviews and gorgeous photos, and we were thrilled to make their special day stress-free.

Sarah and Nasir met at work while he was her boss (!), and a year later, he actually left her area so they could date, believe it or not! They’ve been together since 2016, and on Valentine’s Day 2020, Nasir proposed on their balcony with only their daughters and puppies present – it was the perfect romantic moment. Fast forward to this beautiful day, they took another step in their love story, as you’ll see below…

Intimate & Elegant

Their Maui beach wedding at Maluaka Beach was equally as beautiful, with Sarah looking radiant in her floral crown and Nasir looking dapper in his linen suit. The golden sunset provided a gorgeous backdrop for their newlywed portraits. And they even had a slice of cake to celebrate their nuptials!

Their love shone through every aspect of their wedding day despite the sprinkles! From the stunning photos captured by our sister company, Karma Hill Photography, to the pure joy and happiness they exuded, it was a magical day that they’ll never forget!
