Lahaina Shores set the scene for this sunset event. Fluffy clouds covered the sky, but you could still see the sun’s vivid glow in every portrait. Stephanie’s Rustic Hawaiian Bouquet by Dellables is so vibrant! We love how the spectrum of bright hues contrasts with the deep greens from the foliage. Most importantly, this image is beautiful! You can see how the light colors balance with the cool tones of the rings in the middle.

David and Stephanie looked marvelous at their Maui beach elopement! You can see how classic our groom’s attire is. His sharp black suit and the timeless sapphire tie are a great combination! While our bride looks absolutely gorgeous! Her strapless gown is regal and delicate. Stephanie’s hair is sophisticated, and her makeup is simple. Above all, our radiant newlyweds dressed flawlessly for the occasion!

What a captivating shot! The warm tones from the sunset and the ocean’s cool shades create an alluring background. Our favorite thing about this photo is how in love our newlyweds look. Relaxed, intimate, and one-of-a-kind are a few ways we’d describe Henry and Darian’s special day! Our adventurous couple was looking for a fun way to tie the knot. After a recommendation from their travel agent, they knew a Maui beach elopement would be perfect!

The Heartwarming Maui Beach Elopement

Henry and Darian exchanged Maile leis under a soft sunset at Lahaina Shores Beach. This location set a breathtaking scene; taupe sand, cerulean waves, and lofty palm trees framed the shore. The golden rays of the sun added an enchanting glow to the beach — creating a romantic ambiance. Overall, we couldn’t ask for a better backdrop! 

These newlyweds had an island boho vibe for their wedding day! The linen shirts and pants go together effortlessly and are ideal for a beach ceremony. We like how the light blue and soft white tops simply pair with eggshell-colored pants. Above all, the delicate hues of their clothes go beautifully with the warm tones around them.

Our Couple’s Story

One Halloween, our lovely couple met at a gay bar. Darian caught Henry’s eye because he wore a Superman onesie and had the cutest smile! They immediately hit it off, and their relationship blossomed. In June 2018, Henry surprised Darian with a ring when they visited the Mykonos windmills in Greece! Currently, they’ve been together for almost seven years and have two sweet cats! When they aren’t working at their local hospitals, you can find them traveling or spending time together.

Greece was our gorgeous couple’s first vacation together, and we’re overjoyed Hawaii is another destination they got to experience together! Their Maui beach elopement was their first time on the island. From the vibrant smiles in these portraits, you can tell our newlyweds were loving every second of their time here!

The Beach Wedding In Maui

Hayley and Alex exchanged leis under the soft sunset at Lahaina Shores Beach. Our lovely couple had an intimate ceremony with their closest friends and family around them. A few clouds were covering the sky, and the sun was vibrant! When we saw how perfect the weather was, we knew this wedding would be flawless!

As Kimo Kirkman performed the ceremony, we could see the excitement on our beautiful couple’s faces. When they looked at one another, it was as if they saw each other for the first time!

Our bride looks so exquisite! Her gown is chic, her makeup is classic, and her hair is elegant. You can see how the pearl necklace pairs so beautifully with her white flower lei. Above all, we love how she chose the White Sands Bouquet. The different soft white hues of the arrangement go so lovely with her gown!

Alex’s attire is perfect for a beach wedding in Maui! His sophisticated and fresh look goes so well with the deep greens of his Maile lei. Our favorite thing is how the warm tones complement the beach’s natural shades.

Karma Hill Photography captured many lighthearted shots of Hayley and Alex in the ocean. We love how the sun is shining in the background creating a magical scene. Most importantly, we adore how you can see them enjoying the sapphire water with one another. At first, they only got into the water a little bit. As the fluffy clouds separated, the sunset’s vibrant rays began to sparkle on the golden sand of Lahaina Shores Beach. Our stunning couple arrived at the shoreline together as pure bliss flowed through their veins. You can see sunshine in their eyes and adoration on their faces. Above all, you can feel the love soaring around them in every shot!

With Reverend Kimo Kirkman officiating and no other guests in attendance — this ceremony was the definition of intimate! Our Couple’s Story

Emily and Kevin’s story began when they matched on a popular dating app. After meeting online, they met in person at Gypsy Sally’s in Washington D.C. to see the Dave Klein Band! During Emily’s birthday trip, they got engaged in Asheville, North Carolina.

After being in a relationship for six years, our beautiful couple wanted to have a special day together. They wanted something relaxed, carefree, and personal. It only made sense they had a Maui beach elopement!

Last week, Amanda and Zac were married with a sweet Maui beach elopement on the shore of Lahaina Sands. With boats on the horizon and just a handful of close family cheering them on, this was a lovely ceremony that will be remembered forever.

Amanda and Zac were introduced together by Amanda’s dad. He met Zac while he was looking to purchase a new home, and felt Amanda and Zac would be perfect together. The two exchanged contact info and hit it off immediately. After a long-distance relationship proved that they were meant to be, Zac proposed on Valentine’s day and they took the first steps to becoming husband and wife. It was a stunning morning for Melanie and Brenden’s Maui beach elopement on the sands of Lahaina Shores. With boats speckling the horizon and a couple deeply in love, this was nothing short of a once-in-a-lifetime celebration!

It was just Melanie and Brenden for their Maui beach elopement… plus an occasional photobombing sailboat or two! With the purple mountain slope of Lanai in the backdrop, the view was breathtaking. Our Couple’s Story

Melanie and Brenden have known each other for what seems like forever, quite literally! They met in grade school and began dating in high school. Clearly, it was more than a crush! Melanie and Brenden have been together for almost eleven years and engaged for four.

Together on the island with their family and adorable children, Courtney and Ryan tied the knot with a Beach Wedding in Maui that was simply glowing. The afternoon at Lahaina Shores featured vivid tropical lighting that soon faded into soft hues of gold. With sailboats on the horizon and love all around, this was a ceremony that had everyone cheering.

Courtney made her way onto the shore wearing a stunning gown with draping fit for a cathedral. Ryan arrived at the beach before her to keep the “first look” a surprise, and it’s safe to say, we were all in awe of Courtney’s beauty and loving smile. Looking pretty sleek himself, Ryan’s blush-colored suspenders and matching bowtie brought a dash of modern sophistication to the shore. 

Reverend Peter officiated the ceremony, celebrating Courtney and Ryan’s first kiss as a married couple with the traditional blowing of the conch shell. Following the heartwarming ceremony, loved ones offered their congratulations. The most touching moment of all was when Courtney and Ryan’s daughter offered a kiss to baby, the littlest guest who was safe and cozy in Mom’s belly.

Our Couple’s Story

Courtney and Ryan met at work, and not long after, they were expecting their beautiful little boy. They moved into their new home and their son made his arrival! But the heartwarming gifts didn’t stop there! On Christmas day, Ryan had a very special present planned.

When Courtney opened the box, he dropped to his knee and asked her to spend her life with him. She told us “It was the MOST special and perfect day ever.” And now they’re embarking on a new journey of marriage with a third cutie on the way! Keep scrolling for all the sweetness!

Tianna and Anton’s Maui Beach Elopement was elegant and flooded with tropical goodness. Set on the sands of Lahaina Shores, Tianna and Anton tied their lives together with the Maui ocean watching on. This wedding day was nothing short of take-your-breath-away beautiful.

Speaking of take-your-breath-away beautiful, when Tianna made her entrance on the shore, Anton wasn’t the only one breathless. It seemed as if a hush even came over the ocean. Wearing a vibrant dress with floral applique and a radiant smile, Tianna is simply stunning.

With her perfect waves crowned with pink and white roses, this bride is practically a princess! We’re in awe! And we can’t get over Anton’s adorable reaction. These two are without a doubt marrying the love of their life!

Tianna is a medical secretary and Anton works as a doorman. One day Tianna walked through his door (AKA Tinder match) and the chemistry was instant! Amy knows that she and Russ are “soulmates,” and it seems a Micro Wedding in Maui was written in the stars for these two. With COVID canceling all of their prior Big Day plans and with a trip to Maui already planned, the island was the perfect sandy venue for Amy and Russ to say, “I do.” Come see all of the joy and love of their very special day!

The Micro Wedding in Maui 

There was magic in the air when Amy graced the shore. Reverend Kimo blew the conch shell as the ocean lapped gently in the background. Amy and Russ had four special guests in attendance, Amy’s daughter and two of the couple’s best friends. But another very special guest made a surprise appearance. A Hawaiian monk seal rolled onto the shore to bask in the sun and the warm glow of Amy and Russ’ union.

Our Couple’s Story

Amy is a realtor in Buffalo NY and Ft. Myers Florida, and also owns a small bookkeeping business. Russ is a retired business professor with an accounting business called Small Business Resources.

Amy and Ross met in 1990 and dated for a year shortly afterward. Sixteen years later, they rekindled their friendship, and it was like finding their missing piece. Amy says, “We are soulmates, and we think almost exactly alike at times. It’s creepy!” But because Amy was recently divorced and her children were still young, they waited to progress things forward.

They were at last engaged in 2019 and the joy and love they radiated during their Micro Wedding in Maui was unparalleled! Just look at how genuine those smiles are! Lisa and James confess that they “Love, love, LOVE Maui!” So, of course, they wanted to tie the knot with a Maui elopement! Ironwoods beach was the original plan, but rain was in the forecast, so we decided to relocate to the friendly skies of Lahaina Shores. Our Couple’s Story

Lisa is a semi-retired banker, and James is a jack of all trades, working as an electrician and owning both real estate and a restaurant. Their marriage ties together two families, Lisa’s three girls and James’ son, daughter, and granddaughter. These two have plenty to smile about!

Lisa and James chose a Maui elopement because it was a natural choice. As we said earlier, they simply LOVE the island! So much so, that they even bought a condo! Consider the honeymoon lodgings covered!

Kristen & Kevin are a laid back couple from the East coast! They decided on Maui beach elopement for their wedding. They knew Maui was the perfect combination of beautiful and adventurous and seemed perfect for a wedding/honeymoon combination. We couldn’t agree more and we are so happy they chose us to coordinate their Maui beach elopement!

On the day of the wedding, we encountered some rain at Ironwoods Beach, their original location choice. We could either get them married in the pouring rain, which really isn’t as bad as it sounds or chase the sunshine!! They chose sunshine.

In Hawaii you can have really bad weather at one spot and just 10 minutes down the road is a beautiful sunshiny day! That’s clear by the pictures below. You would never know that a storm loomed just a few miles away! Lahaina Shores beach turned out to be absolute perfection for their wedding day. Gorgeous blue sky, very little beachgoers, a stunning sunset, they couldn’t have asked for a better setting!

Kristen & Kevin met at a friends wedding. They had an instant connection and the rest is history. They are now 2 cats and a puppy connected and building a beautiful life together!

Kevin proposed to Kristen on a romantic trip to Savannah, Georgia for 4th of July last year. It’s clear that these two adore each other and have many more romantic trips ahead of them!

Maui beach wedding locations don’t get much better than Lahaina Shores. This Maui gem is right in the heart of Lahaina Town and sits in front of the beautifully designed 505 Front Street. Follow along and we’ll review why Lahaina Shores is on our list of the all-time best beaches for weddings!

Lahaina Shores is one of our favorite Maui wedding locations because of its convenience, consistent weather and dynamic sunsets. It’s close to the resort areas of Lahaina, Kaanapali and Kapalua and many restaurants on Lahaina’s famed front street. This location has a lot to offer!

Maui Wedding Location Details

Lahaina Shores is located in Lahaina Town on the West side of Maui.

• 45 min to 1 hr from Kihei
• 10-25 min from Kaanapali & Kapalua

If you’re a nautical-lover at heart, then Lahaina Shores is the perfect Maui wedding location. Because of its close proximity to Lahaina Harbor, this sweet little beach is often dotted with sailboats drifting on the horizon.

Pacific’o restaurant and The Feast at Lele front this beach, offering great reception options just steps from your ceremony!

Lahaina Shores Beach Resort and Condos are also right next to the beach, so you could stay, get married and have a wonderful reception dinner all within a few steps of each other!

The weather at Lahaina Shores Beach is extremely consistent, it rarely rains and the winds usually stay light. It’s also a great back up location for other beaches with more volatile weather like Ironwoods.

There is a limited amount of parking on the street and in the public lot at Lahaina Shores Beach. But there is also a paid parking lot across from the beach that always has plenty of spaces, so you don’t have to worry about there not being enough spots for you and your guests.

You’ll meet your onsite coordinator at the front of the 505 Front Street shops. It’s an easy meet-up spot for guests who may be driving over separately as well.

If the tide is low enough, we’ll have the ceremony closer to the Lahaina Shores Beach Resort, where we can avoid the noise of the surf school and restaurants. Otherwise we’ll pick a spot closer to the shopping center that has enough space for your group to gather and for your photographer to capture the ceremony.

After the ceremony, we love to take the newlyweds all around the beach and surrounding park for fun and romantic portraits!

Other Considerations

• Lahaina Shores is a popular spot for surfers just learning to ride the waves, so it can be busy when surf lessons are in session.
• A high tide can limit the space we have for a ceremony at Lahaina Shores Beach, so it works best for groups of about 15 or less.
• Since it’s next to shopping, restaurants, and a hotel, this beach doesn’t feel very secluded. It’s perfect for couples who want a fun surf-town or Vintage Hawaii vibe for their wedding.
• Unlike most of our favorite Maui beach locations, Lahaina Shores Beach is busiest in the morning, so we recommend it for sunset weddings.
• With 505 Front Street, canoes, a grass shack, and other fun items, this beach offers a variety of great props and backdrops that you simply can’t find at other locales!
