This Maui beach wedding was breezy and flooded with the Aloha spirit. A marriage is always a special union, but it’s particularly special when tying the knot also means tying together a family. With their children at their sides, Heather & Ryan said “I do” on the sands of Lahaina Shores, and their wonderful journey as husband and wife–and a blended family–began! Keep scrolling for all the sweet shots!

This couple made it a priority to include their awesome kiddos on their Special Day. Here, Ryan is posing with Heather’s daughter, and below, Heather stands with Ryan’s sons… Or maybe we should just say that Ryan is posing with his beautiful daughter and Heather is standing with her amazing sons! Because this wonderful family now blends into one!

How cute are these two? We love this candid shot of Ryan’s tender expression.

And how cute is this entire family?! This couple’s Big Day was truly a family affair, and everyone was celebrating!

Grandma was really excited about the wedding and Hawaiian experience, and she specifically asked for the blowing of the pū. We love this shot of her beautiful smile! Afterward, the kids even got to stick their ears in the conch shell to listen to the sounds of the sea!

We love Heather and Ryan’s laidback yet elegant beach wedding style! With gorgeous loose curls and a short, trendsetting gown, Heather is absolute perfection!

Mahalo, Heather & Ryan, for trusting us with your elegant Maui wedding. We wish you and your family all the very best in the years ahead and send our fondest Aloha…

Elena & Michael’s Hawaii beach wedding was fun and then some! These two adventurous spirits love to be playful–making them a perfect match for Simple Maui Wedding! We had a wonderful time capturing their laughter-filled ceremony: from the hula dancer to the dancing bride, this wedding was unforgettable!
Elena & Michael met while working for the postal service, and it didn’t take long for love to find itself on their doorstep! This awesome couple wanted an authentic Aloha experience for their Hawaii beach wedding… so we booked a talented hula dancer and ukulele player from our friends over at Manutea Nui E! Keep scrolling for all the good times!

But the dancer wasn’t the only one getting her hula on! Elana showed off her lovely hula hands and graceful moves… this bride is gorgeous AND fearless! We love it!

Our couple was all about capturing the sentimental things on their Special Day. They wanted photos of the family having fun on the beach and a few with the Lahaina Shores Resort in the background. And we were happy to frame it all!

We’re fangirling over Elena’s bridal style! Bohemian glam adorned with a rustic Hawaiin bouquet and flower crown. How stunning is she??

There’s nothing like a just-married couple letting loose and enjoying their special moment on the beach! These adorable hand-in-hand shots have us all in smiles!

Mahalo, Elena & Michael, for trusting us with your Hawaii Beach Wedding. We had a wonderful time spending the morning with you, and wish you nothing but the very best in the years ahead… sending our fond Aloha (with first-class postage).

No matter how many times we photograph a Maui destination wedding, the love between the bride and groom never ceases to take our breath away … and Emma & Devin had us utterly breathless. They claim their relationship has been “anything but traditional” … and we have to admit, this unforgettable couple breaks the mold in all the right ways.
Emma and Devin first locked eyes on New Year’s Eve of 2018. Or, as the line goes: Of all the bars, in all the towns, in all the world, he walked into hers. Or she walked into his? It was a shared hometown bar, after all. The couple hit it off immediately. And instead of celebrating New Years 2019 with a bottle of bubbly, they were blessed with the bubbly smile of their newborn baby girl! So it seemed only fitting that Emma and Devin opted to bring in this new decade with an abundance of love and marryment!

The location was set for Ironwoods, a cliffside beach just past Kaanapali on the slopes of the West Maui Mountains. But on the day of the ceremony, a dark clouded rolled down from the valley, and we made a last-minute decision to swap the locale for Lahaina Shores.
And the result was an affair flooded with sunshine and glistening ocean views!

Beautiful little Nyah was the definition of a spark of joy! Beaming throughout the occasion, she had everyone’s spirit flying high. We were smitten by her carefree nature and how curious she was about Mom’s Rustic Hawaiian Bouquet!

Those hands… that smile… those eyes… Can she get any cuter?!

“Sometimes the smallest things take up the most room in your heart.“

“To her, the name of father was another name for love.”

These beach wedding fireworks have us blinded!

Mahalo nui loa, Emma & Devin for choosing us to help you perfect your Maui destination wedding. We wish you all the best in the years to come … three, two, one … Happy New Beginnings!

Lahaina Shores offers some of the most breathtaking westside views, so when Erin & Tyler selected it as the stage for their cozy and sociable beach wedding on Maui, we knew we were in for a special treat. Hailing from Bakersfield, California, this tenderhearted couple makes it a tradition to visit Maui once a year …
Only this year, things were a little different. With a bundle of love on the way, the bride and groom spun the annual visit into a festivity to remember. With close family there to witness, the couple said “I do” on golden sands and framed against a sweeping seascape.

Officiating the ceremony was Richardo Hanako’o. Always spirited and jolly, Richardo kept the couple amused as he delivered his wise insights on love and devotion.

We adored how the bride took some special time away to capture treasured photos with her niece. These will surely be passed on for generations to come.

Sporting the most adorable baby-bump, Erin pulls off the maiden dress and then some. From the wave of her sunlit hair to the rippling effect of her flowing gown, Erin evokes all the allure of a Roman goddess. It’s as if she just materialized out of the tide…

A good-luck misting of rain blessed the couple before the day gave way to a brilliant splash of Prussian and cobalt blues. What a spectacular way to welcome what’s sure to be a limitless union…

Thank you, Erin and Tyler for choosing us to capture your gorgeous and intimate beach wedding on Maui. Sending you and your little one our fondest aloha… We look forward to one day capturing her beautiful smile…

When Abi & Olu’s Maui Elopement photos came into the office after their wedding the whole team was all “ooooohing and aaaahhhing” over just how gorgeous they were. Not only was their love radiating from the photos, their bridal style and floral was ridiculously on point.
Abi’s form-fitting mermaid dress with a flowing train looked stunning on the beach and on her! Olu’s tailored blue suit was perfect for the overcast morning weather, the soft tone complimented the sky and ocean perfectly. We also LOVED the custom bouquet Abi chose with the all-white tropical flowers and flowing greenery.

They met through a mutual friend of Abi’s, they didn’t live in the same city but when Olu came for a visit they quickly fell in love! They are both active in their church and enjoy volunteering as a quality way to spend time together. They chose a Maui wedding because they didn’t want a traditional wedding and getting married on the beach sounded perfect. Although they had never been to Hawaii before, they loved everything about the idea of having a destination wedding.
They decided on a morning wedding because they wanted bright blue ocean in their photos, but Maui decided that it was going to be soft overcast light that morning. We actually LOVE the way it turned out in photos making everything look so dreamy. We also loved the fact that Abi wanted some getting ready photos. It helped document the day and showed the process of getting ready to marry her sweetheart. After an intimate ceremony, the couple turned on their modeling skills for some gorgeous couples photos, they were so natural in front of the camera! They then had the rest of the day to enjoy together and get the honeymoon started!

Our groom used to live here, so they visit as much as they can. And decided what better place to say “I do” than at a Maui Beach Wedding?! Lahaina is particularly special to Tiana and Scott, making this the ideal location for their ceremony. And we love that they were joined by family (including their 7-month-old son, Dominic) for such a special occasion!

As Tiana and Scott stood side by side, it was clear that these two truly do complete each other! And even though our bride had a hard time getting her “soon to be husband’s” ring on his finger, it finally slid on and is there to stay 🙂 . Also! Scott’s ring belonged to his father too. We love how excited these two are about starting this next chapter in their lives, and are so glad we could be part of it!
After taking photos with their loved ones it was time for our newlyweds to have a little alone time with our sister company, Karma Hill Photography, for wedding portraits! And we love that they wanted to take photos by the Banyon Tree to further document this place they love so much! We know these are images they will treasure for many years to come.

Thank you, Tiana and Scott, for trusting Simple Maui Wedding to help plan a day we know you will always hold near and dear to your hearts! We loved getting to celebrate with you and wish you all the best on the journey ahead. Congratulations and Warm Aloha!

We have been so excited for this couple’s Maui Beach Elopement, and we’re not the only ones who were eagerly awaiting its arrival! Paula arrived with three lady guests, she was so nervous and Debbie (her brother-in-law’s wife) said aloud, “FINALLY!” I asked, “Why finally?” They all laughed and Paula replied, “We’ve been together for 20 years!” lol! So it’s definitely about time they got married.
Before heading to the beach, Paula added a personal touch to her bouquet. She attached a handkerchief her great grandmother made, a pink ribbon, and pin. It was beautiful and she absolutely loved her bouquet!

It was a warm afternoon and the waves were small making the crashing sounds nice and subtle during their ceremony. It was a beautiful Maui Beach Elopement! After saying “I do” and signing the marriage license it was time for a very special surprise.
Kimo gathered all the guests and asked do we have any married couples here? And two couples raised their hands. Then he asked, “Why don’t we renew your vows right here and now?” Everyone laughed and said yes without hesitation!

Kimo then continued by saying “We are gathered here today to celebrate the marriage of Paula and Damian. Because of their love for you, they’d like to honor your marriages by allowing you to reaffirm your love for one another on this joyous day and in this beautiful setting!”

John & Debbie and Kelly & Joe were super surprised! And it was funny because Damian’s niece and nephew were also in on the surprise and didn’t say a word. More tears were shed throughout the whole group during the vow renewal ceremonies!
Paula and Damian made this experience one to remember! And we are so glad we could be part of it. Thank you, both, for sharing such a special day with Simple Maui Wedding! We loved getting to celebrate with you and wish you all the best on the journey ahead. Congratulations and Warm Aloha!

These two celebrated 10 wonderful years by exchanging beautiful words and dancing to live music on the ukulele at their Maui Vow Renewal. We could not have asked for a more stunning evening for their ceremony at Lahaina Shores Beach! This location has some of the most amazing sunsets with gorgeous lighting shooting along the shoreline. And this couple kept saying how beautiful of a location they picked and were so happy with the setting!

Karmele and Daniel’s Maui Vow Renewal was made even more memorable by the involvement of their kids, Sabastian and Nuria. Not only were they the cutest wedding guests, but they were dressed in the sweetest outfits to match their mom and dad! Our sister company, Karma Hill Photography captured a great variety of photos with their kids and also spent time with photos of just the two of them. You would never know that their youngest is hanging out on their legs for some of the close up intimate shots. Karmele and Daniel did a great job of focusing on romantic moments together and running around with their kiddos!

It’s easy to see Karmele and Daniel are so proud of and grateful for the life they have built together! And we are honored we could celebrate with them on such a special occasion. Congratulations and Warm Aloha!

Karri and Ian were so sweet together and we absolutely loved helping them plan their Lahaina Shores Beach Wedding! When they first contacted us they said they had decided to cancel their big wedding and instead get married in Maui with a few close family and friends. They were so excited to experience a relaxing getaway and ceremony here in paradise!

And these two definitely deserved some R&R, both Karri and Ian have served in the military! Our bride just finished her duty, and our groom served 5 years in the Marines on active duty and 2 years in the reserves. We cannot thank Karri and Ian enough for their service! And we loved seeing them celebrate with their military friends at their Lahaina Shores Beach Wedding.
It was especially touching to see this couple include their darling daughter, Kolby in the festivities. It’s easy to see that these parents adore her more than anything and we love that she could be part of their special day! We’re confident this is an occasion none of them will ever forget.

Both Karri and Ian said they “aren’t really photo people” but the founder of our sister company, Karma had so much fun getting their personality to come out and helping them be natural in front of the camera. I mean just see for yourself! They look absolutely incredible together, and we have no doubt they will have the most amazing life together as husband and wife.

Thank you, Karri and Ian, for sharing your special day with Simple Maui Wedding! We loved getting to celebrate with you both and wish you all the best on the journey ahead. Congratulations and Warm Aloha!

The looks on Leah and Brian’s faces when they first saw each other at their Maui Beach Wedding left us speechless. The love they share is truly inspiring! Their wedding was full of excitement, from beginning to end and we loved witnessing it all.
On another note, Leah’s sons walked her in during her entrance. And one of her sons even blew the conch shell too! Which we thought was the cutest thing, and he was so good at it too. But we really shouldn’t be surprised, considering Hawaiian culture is in his blood!

Our bride is originally from Oahu but now lives in California. When asked why she chose Maui for her wedding, she said her family is originally from Maui! So she wanted to get married here on a beach with her toes in the sand. A lot of her family flew here to Maui from Oahu and brought the flower crown she wore on her wedding day with them. How sweet is that?!
We seriously cannot get over how amazing this wedding was. Throughout the evening, this bride and groom didn’t stop laughing together. Brian was super animated and fun to be around, and Leah was completely comfortable and enjoyed every moment of being on the beach!

Thank you, Leah and Brian, for trusting our team to help create the perfect Maui Beach Wedding for you. We loved getting to know you both and wish you all the best on the journey ahead. Congratulations and Warm Aloha!

We were thrilled when this couple reached out to us last week to see if we could coordinate a Maui Beach Elopement for them in just two days! And while this was short notice, we knew we could do it 🙂 . Plus we were so excited to be part of such a sweet and special occasion for Shauna and Jonathan!
After being together for 5 years, these two were so excited to get married! In fact, they actually are in the process of planning a big wedding at home but when they got to Maui on vacation Jonathan suggested eloping! So they quickly found us on yelp and got everything figured out within days.
At the end of their ceremony, they planted a sprouted coco in the brush near the spot they got married. How fun is that?! They even told us that they plan to return each year to check its growth! We love this idea and can’t wait for them to come back in 2020. In the meantime, we’ll keep an eye on their little sprout in their absence.

We seriously loved helping put together this Maui Beach Elopement and could not be happier for our newlyweds! Thank you so much, Shauna and Jonathan, for inviting Simple Maui Wedding to celebrate with you on such a beautiful morning. Congratulations and Warm Aloha!

This couple met by chance online and fell for each other instantaneously! And their Maui Beach Wedding was even on their 1 year anniversary. Sara and Sean chose Maui for the simplicity and vacation all in one! Our bride had been here before, but this was our groom’s first time, and it’s safe to say they will be back 🙂 . When planning their special day, they described their wedding as casual and fun. Which is what we are all about!
During their vows, Sean mentioned he really didn’t see himself getting married anytime soon but after meeting Sara he just knew right away she was the one for him! What a beautiful reminder that love at first meeting does exist. Their dedication for each other was truly inspiring! It was really important to Sara to share their ceremony with those closest to them, so they gathered a beautiful and intimate half-circle around them that was full of tears, laughter and so much love! Thank you, Sara and Sean, for trusting our team of Maui wedding coordinators to help plan the Maui Beach Wedding of your dreams. Congratulations and Warm Aloha!
