Chasing the Sunshine – Kristen & Kevin’s Maui Beach Elopement
Kristen & Kevin are a laid back couple from the East coast! They decided on Maui beach elopement for their wedding. They knew Maui was the perfect combination of beautiful and adventurous and seemed perfect for a wedding/honeymoon combination. We couldn’t agree more and we are so happy they chose us to coordinate their Maui beach elopement!
On the day of the wedding, we encountered some rain at Ironwoods Beach, their original location choice. We could either get them married in the pouring rain, which really isn’t as bad as it sounds or chase the sunshine!! They chose sunshine.
In Hawaii you can have really bad weather at one spot and just 10 minutes down the road is a beautiful sunshiny day! That’s clear by the pictures below. You would never know that a storm loomed just a few miles away! Lahaina Shores beach turned out to be absolute perfection for their wedding day. Gorgeous blue sky, very little beachgoers, a stunning sunset, they couldn’t have asked for a better setting!
Kristen & Kevin met at a friends wedding. They had an instant connection and the rest is history. They are now 2 cats and a puppy connected and building a beautiful life together!
Kevin proposed to Kristen on a romantic trip to Savannah, Georgia for 4th of July last year. It’s clear that these two adore each other and have many more romantic trips ahead of them!
