These two celebrated 10 wonderful years by exchanging beautiful words and dancing to live music on the ukulele at their Maui Vow Renewal. We could not have asked for a more stunning evening for their ceremony at Lahaina Shores Beach! This location has some of the most amazing sunsets with gorgeous lighting shooting along the shoreline. And this couple kept saying how beautiful of a location they picked and were so happy with the setting!

Karmele and Daniel’s Maui Vow Renewal was made even more memorable by the involvement of their kids, Sabastian and Nuria. Not only were they the cutest wedding guests, but they were dressed in the sweetest outfits to match their mom and dad! Our sister company, Karma Hill Photography captured a great variety of photos with their kids and also spent time with photos of just the two of them. You would never know that their youngest is hanging out on their legs for some of the close up intimate shots. Karmele and Daniel did a great job of focusing on romantic moments together and running around with their kiddos!

Stephanie & Nick traveled all the way from Colorado for their Maui Vow Renewal! They had a big wedding 2 years ago and this was their chance to enjoy a dream ceremony on the beach. The best part is that this time Leo was around for it! Their 10-month old son is so cute, and he even walked his mom down the aisle! (well, kind of)

Just because they were enjoying a simple wedding didn’t mean they skimped on the details! Stephanie looked lovely in her lace gown and tropical bouquet. They wrote their own vows for each other and stayed at the beach through sunset to get some sweet photos together! That’s how a Maui vow renewal should be!

John and Michael were excited to celebrate 5 yrs of marriage with a Maui Vow Renewal! They even had their ceremony on their anniversary date. How special is that?! They’ve both been to Hawaii before and love Maui, so it was the perfect spot to celebrate this meaningful milestone.

A Musical Touch

Leading up to their Maui Vow Renewal they both expressed how excited they were for their musician. Kason was their ukulele player and they loved his voice! The last song he played was “You’ve Got a Friend in Me.” They didn’t mention anything about the song earlier but were so touched because they played that song on their actual wedding date. Talk about amazing!

And these two really are the best of friends, they were so sweet together and knew just how to make each other laugh. Which truly made for a beautiful and unforgettable evening! After taking fun portraits with our sister company, this couple was ready to continue the celebration with a delicious dinner at Mama’s Fish House! Talk about the perfect ending to an already perfect day!

Stacey and Tom visit Maui every year and took pictures with our sister company 5 years ago. So we were stoked to plan their Maui Vow Renewal! Most of their guests had never been to Hawaii before and had no idea what to expect. But one things for sure, this is an experience and occasion none of them will ever forget!

When Stacey and Tom got married 15 years ago their wedding color was coral, just like their “aloha ever after” sign. So we love that Stacey went with a non-traditional ocean blue dress, which really complimented the pastel colors from her wedding day. Also on her bouquet was a lady bug, and it’s the same lady bug pin she wore on her bouquet during her wedding day! How fun is that?!

Another super cute tear-jerker was the fact that Stacey had the same vows from her wedding day but added a few new things. Their vows had both Stacey and Tom in tears! It was especially touching to see their son participate in the festivities by walking his mother in, being part of the lei exchange and giving his parents hugs after the ceremony. Such a tender moment! But really this entire Maui Vow Renewal was full of one incredible moment after the other and we loved being part of it all 🙂 . Another fun surprise Maui Vow Renewal! It was their last evening here, so Joi was looking forward to a sweet dinner with Mike, her husband of 29 years. She thought they were taking a quick detour to a beach nearby, but there was actually a surprise vow renewal waiting for her there! We can’t believe we got to be a part of such a special and romantic evening!

Mike was worried about keeping the secret from his wife, but he was a total champ! He planned this Maui Vow Renewal 2 weeks ahead of time and had to wait until the end of their vacation so that they could have it on their actual anniversary. We had to sneak in some calls and emails, but we got it all put together just in time! We helped Mike pick out the nicest details, a ceremony with Reverend Kuya, a special song with Wailau, and a tropical bouquet from Dellables.

The best detail of all was the love between Mike and Joi, who went back home to Arizona with such great memories of their time here! Here’s to many more years of happiness for these sweethearts! We always love when a vacation turns into a Maui Vow Renewal! And love the story of how Elizabeth and Robert decided to celebrate with loved ones. First they had the Hawaii vacation planned and then they decided to get family pictures while they were here. Then Robert got Elizabeth new wedding rings for their 20th anniversary. So they decided to have a whole ceremony while here!

Rebecca and Joshua came to Maui 10 years ago on their honeymoon and were so excited to return for their Maui Vow Renewal! We love this idea so much and were honored to help them make this day every bit as special as the past 10 years have been. Watching them interact with each other, you’d think it was their wedding day by how in love they were. Just as it should be!

Rebecca wore a stunning Christina Wu dress with beaded sandals to complete her look! It was fun to see Joshua in a light blue button-up, bringing some color to this special occasion, which he paired with khaki shorts. As their Maui Vow Renewal came to an end this happy couple headed to Lahaina Grill for a celebratory dinner! Even though there are many amazing restaurants on the island, this location is definitely on our list of favorites.
