Some love stories find their rhythm quietly, far from the spotlight. And Tyleia and Igor’s Maui elopement at Po‘olenalena Beach was exactly that kind of beautiful simplicity.
They’d already planned a Maui vacation, sunshine, ocean, and a little escape from everyday life, when the idea struck: why not make it official here? A small, intimate ceremony surrounded by paradise felt far more like them than anything big or traditional. No guest list, no stress, just love, family, and the soft hum of waves in the background…

For Tyleia, it was a return to the island she’d visited eight years ago, this time with Igor by her side. It was his first time in Hawaii, and what better introduction than a wedding day beneath the golden Maui sky? Joined by Igor’s mom and younger brother, their ceremony was sweet, personal, and full of joy, the kind of day that feels effortless and right.
Their story began years earlier while working summer jobs at Andaz Resorts in Scottsdale, Arizona, Tyleia as a night auditor and Igor as a valet. What started as a casual friendship quickly turned into a connection that felt like home. Fast forward six years: a proposal under desert skies in Joshua Tree, and now a dreamy Maui elopement to begin their next chapter…

The afternoon was golden, with the breeze soft and the waves gentle; everything about it felt serene and unhurried. Tyleia embodied the most effortless bohemian beachy vibe, her flowy dress catching the wind, barefoot in the sand, and glowing under the Maui sun. Igor looked effortless, relaxed yet polished. Together, they were picture-perfect in the most natural way: grounded, calm, and completely in love. The way they look at one another says everything! That’s the beauty of eloping in Hawaii, the simplicity lets you focus on what matters most. The love. The peace. The moment.

Congratulations, Tyleia and Igor! Your Maui elopement was pure serenity, a beautiful reflection of who you are: effortless, warm, and perfectly at home under the Hawaiian sun.

Some weddings feel like the perfect punctuation mark to a long and beautiful story, and Belen and Nicholas’ Maui venue wedding was exactly that. Some love stories are written softly, in golden light and quiet moments. Mary and John’s Maui elopement at Po‘olenalena Beach was one of those stories, simple, heartfelt, and radiantly beautiful from start to finish.
After six years together and one year engaged, this Ohio couple decided to trade big plans for something more intimate: a sunset ceremony by the sea. For Mary, a nurse, and John, who works in IT from home, life is often busy and full. But on this day, everything slowed down. It was just them, the ocean breeze, and the sound of waves marking the rhythm of their vows.
Their Maui elopement captured the essence of what makes these moments so special: no stress, no crowd, just two people promising forever in a place that feels suspended in time. The light was soft and golden, wrapping around them as they exchanged rings and quiet laughter. Every photo glowed with warmth, the kind of warmth that feels like love made visible…

Neither had been to Hawaii before, and it couldn’t have been a more perfect beginning to their marriage, a honeymoon and wedding rolled into one. Po‘olenalena, with its peaceful shoreline and dreamy sunset views, offered the perfect balance of beauty and serenity.
As the sun dipped below the horizon, they exchanged their personal vows to the sound of the waves. It couldn’t have been more dreamy or perfect for this sweet couple!

After their beautiful Maui elopement ceremony, we wandered down the shoreline for newlywed portraits, and it was pure magic! The sun had dipped low, turning the sky into a wash of gold and violet, while the waves shimmered like glass around their feet. Mary and John looked completely at peace, their smiles soft and full of that just-married glow. They laughed between kisses, barefoot in the sand, soaking up every bit of that golden Maui light. Each photo felt warm and timeless, the kind that instantly brings you back to the feeling of the moment.

Congratulations, Mary and John! Your Maui elopement was everything it should be: simple, genuine, and full of golden light. Here’s to your next adventure together, wherever the sun leads you!

Hawaii’s breathtaking beaches and welcoming aloha spirit make it one of the most romantic places in the world to wed. What makes it even better? Getting married here is surprisingly easy. There’s no waiting period, no residency rule, and no witnesses required. Your marriage will be legally recognized everywhere; all you need is a license. Follow these quick steps, and you’ll be ready to get married in Hawaii!

Verify that both applicants meet the age and relationship requirements (18+ and not closer than first cousins). Gather government-issued photo IDs for both of you. If a previous marriage ended within the last 30 days, bring the certified divorce or death certificate. Applicants aged 16–17 need written parental consent.
See more information from the Hawaii Department of Health here.
Go to Hawaii’s Electronic Marriage and Civil Union Registration System to fill out the application. You can do this up to a year before your wedding. Pay the $65 fee (via credit card) and save your Locator ID/Authorization Code for later.
Complete the application here online.
You can also fill out the paper version of the Hawaii Marriage License Application located here (hand written): https://goo.gl/F0hxZf or the Hawaii Civil Union Application located here (hand written): https://goo.gl/EAMQA and bring them to your marriage license appointment.
Within 30 days of your ceremony, book an appointment with a marriage license agent (available on O‘ahu, Maui, Kaua‘i, Hawaiʻi Island, Molokaʻi, and Lāna‘i) or at the Department of Health office. Appointments are required and usually last 20–30 minutes. If you didn’t pay online, bring $70 in cash.
Schedule your appointment here.
For information about agents on all islands, please see the Current List of Agents.
Bring to your licensing appointment:
• $70 cash (unless paid online with a credit card already)
• Completed paper application or printed receipt from your online application
• Driver’s License, Military ID or Passport (Birth Certificate required if you are under 18)
• Both people who will be involved in the marriage or civil union must attend the marriage license appointment
Both partners must appear in person, bringing your IDs, Locator ID or paper application, and any required documentation. The agent will verify your information and issue your license immediately.
Bring the physical license to your ceremony; your officiant must see it before the ceremony and will file it afterward on your behalf. Hawaii does not require witnesses, and ensure your officiant is licensed by the State of Hawaii.
After your officiant files the paperwork, you can often see a temporary record online within a few days, and your certified marriage certificate will arrive by mail in about 4–6 weeks. For faster processing, you can request expedited copies if needed.
If one or both of you reside outside the U.S., check your country’s requirements; some require an apostille to recognize the certificate. Hawaii’s Department of Health can assist with obtaining this.
The Hawaii marriage license expires 30 days from and including the date of issuance; after that, it automatically becomes null and void. The license is valid for any of the Hawaiian islands.
Call a marriage license agent before you arrive on the island to make an appointment. A marriage license appointment lasts about 30 minutes.
Here is the state of Hawaii marriage license agent list compiled for all the islands (Maui, Oahu, Lanai, Molokai, Kauai, Hawaii -Big Island). http://health.hawaii.gov/vitalrecords/ license-agents/
Any agent within the state of Hawaii can authorize your form to wed on all islands.
If you’re planning on getting married on another island than the one where you got your marriage license, that’s fine. Please ensure you bring your approved form to your marriage ceremony.
If you live in a country outside the United States, you will need what is called an apostille, which is a document authenticating your marriage license in the United States, therefore making it legal in your home country.
When you make your appointment with the license agent, let them know that you will need an apostille and ask if you need to do anything ahead of time to make that happen.
You may also want to notify your officiant. Then, when you meet with the agent, they can give you the forms and instructions to request an apostille. Below is a link to a list of countries that accept an apostille for the authentication of marriage licenses, so they will be accepted as legal documents and therefore legal proof of marriage in their home country.
For more information, learn more about requiring an apostille.
Bring your Marriage License WITH YOU to your wedding! Your minister or officiant will complete it and file the license with the State of Hawaii.
No, you can get married right after your license appointment. Some couples meet with the agent the same day as their wedding, but we suggest doing it at least the day before to have one less thing to worry about.
The 30-day timeframe is how early you can meet with the agent before your wedding. You can complete the online form up to a year before that. You’ll just need to have your wedding within 30 days of meeting with the agent on the island.
No, if you’ve already had a legal ceremony back home or elsewhere, or are planning to make the marriage legal later, you can have a ceremonious wedding that would be just like if you were actually making it legal here. You also don’t need to bring anything to prove that you’re already legally married.
Information on Hawaii marriage licenses may be obtained via the telephone system, any day or any time, by calling the number above.
After your wedding, it takes about 3 weeks for the license to be processed, plus the time it takes for the certified copy to be mailed to you.
The state actually quotes a delivery of the marriage license of 60-120 days after the marriage has been performed. You can access it online sooner, but you will need the certified copy in order to make any legal name changes.
If you wish to receive your Hawaii marriage license sooner, ask the marriage license agent about paying for an expedited copy, which is currently a cost of $10.
Now that you have reached this step, explore our complete guide on how to get married in Hawaii. The guide covers timelines, top locations, and total costs. It walks you from securing your marriage license to choosing your ceremony setting and getting ready for your wedding day.

Some love stories take their time to blossom. Sometimes they stretch across middle school hallways, college campuses, new cities, and long-distance calls that last late into the night. Kyle and Karissa’s journey has been just that kind of story! And their Maui venue wedding at Royal Lahaina Resort felt like the most beautiful chapter yet.
They first met in middle school, stayed close through high school, and later turned friendship into something more while living miles apart in college. After five years of long-distance, countless visits, texts, and flights, they built a life together in Michigan and California before finally saying “I do” in Karissa’s dream location: a Hawaiian beach wedding come true.

The Royal Lahaina Resort gave them everything they imagined: ocean views, a sparkling shoreline, and the soft sound of waves rolling in as they exchanged vows. The ceremony felt intimate and heartfelt, with sunshine brushing over them like the island blessing they always hoped for.
Their ceremony struck the perfect balance, the privacy and ease of a venue paired with the dreamy access to the beach just steps away. They stood beneath a stunning bamboo arch adorned with tropical flowers, giving the moment a lush, romantic feel without ever taking away from the ocean and sky behind them. Karissa made her way to the altar, sunlight catching her dress and a gentle breeze moving through the palms, as loved ones looked on with full hearts. The setup was simple and elegant, no distractions, no fuss, just pure beauty, island air, and a couple finally getting to say the words they’d waited years for. It was intimate, heartfelt, and everything a Maui venue wedding should be…

Afterward, we wandered the property and the shoreline for newlywed portraits, and Maui delivered its signature magic. Soft breezes, glowing light, and the kind of ocean backdrop that looks like it belongs in a watercolor painting. Kyle and Karissa looked so at ease, hand in hand, laughing, and soaking in the moment they had worked so hard to reach. Coaching high school basketball and cheer, building careers in construction and accounting, raising a pup and a kitten, adventuring through life together, all of it led to this golden Maui moment…It was a day filled with joy, history, and that unmistakable feeling of finally!

Congratulations, Kyle and Karissa! We’re honored to have captured such a meaningful celebration! Here’s to forever adventures, island memories, and the sweetest happily ever after!

Dylon and Jenna’s Maui beach wedding at Maluaka Beach was everything they dreamed of: simple, intimate, and surrounded by the people who matter most. The couple, who both work as managers at Casey’s General Store, wanted a day that felt easy and full of meaning, and Maui delivered that in every way.
Their ceremony was quiet and heartfelt, set against the soothing rhythm of the waves and the soft hum of the island breeze. With just their immediate families gathered close, the moment felt deeply personal, no distractions, no big production, just two people promising forever beneath the golden Hawaiian sun. The simplicity made it even more beautiful.
Dylon and Jenna’s love story began at work, blossoming over shared laughter and long days together. Three years later, Dylon proposed most adorably, with the ring tied around their dog’s neck. It’s no surprise that their wedding reflected that same sense of warmth, thoughtfulness, and a little bit of playfulness…

Dylon and Jenna’s ceremony at Maluaka Beach was quiet, intimate, and deeply personal, the kind of moment that feels beautifully unhurried. There were no grand decorations, just pure love, laughter, and the sound of waves marking the rhythm of their promises. It was simple, heartfelt, and everything they wanted their wedding to be. Everything they wanted was right there in that very moment for this next chapter of their life together…

After the ceremony, we wandered along Maluaka Beach for newlywed portraits, and the light was nothing short of magic! The ocean glowed, the sand shimmered underfoot, and Dylon and Jenna looked completely at peace, just married, barefoot in the sand, laughing with the kind of joy that only comes from being exactly where you’re meant to be. It was golden perfection!
For their first trip to Hawaii, this was the perfect way to begin a new chapter. A Maui beach wedding that felt relaxed, genuine, and full of love, a reminder that sometimes, the most meaningful moments are also the simplest.

Rebecca and Matthew’s Maui venue wedding at Gather was the kind of day that felt effortlessly timeless, filled with joy, soft ocean breezes, and golden light that seemed to bless every moment. From start to finish, their day flowed beautifully, each part blending seamlessly into the next.
The day began with excitement and laughter as Rebecca got ready, her stunning gown a perfect match for the island’s elegant simplicity. Soon after, she walked down the lush green lawn arm in arm with her father, sunlight filtering through the palm trees, toward Matthew waiting under a delicate white arch framed by tropical greenery. It was a breathtaking moment. full of love, anticipation, and the quiet kind of joy that only happens once.

Their ceremony at the Maui venue overlooked the sparkling South Shore, where they exchanged vows surrounded by loved ones. Their day centered on presence, emotion, and the promises they made to each other, not extravagance. Every part of their celebration centered around their vows, and that made it all the more powerful.
Our Maui wedding photography style captures moments like these, clean, natural, and emotionally true. We love capturing a day that feels real, without distraction or clutter. The soft colors, open skies, and warm light of Gather Maui gave us the perfect backdrop to do just that.

After the ceremony, we joined them on the beach for sunset portraits, calm, glowing, and full of quiet joy. The photos reflect everything about their day: simplicity, connection, and the kind of love that doesn’t need anything extra to shine.
Rebecca and Matthew’s Maui venue wedding shows that true beauty shines in simplicity, in honest moments, heartfelt vows, and the stillness of being fully present with the one you love.

We’re so honored to have captured the start of your forever together. Congratulations! May your life ahead be filled with the same warmth, joy, and effortless beauty that surrounded your wedding day!

There’s something extraordinary about getting married in Hawaii, a feeling that can’t quite be put into words but can be felt in every ocean breeze, every golden sunset, every soft laugh carried over the sound of the waves. For Tia and Antasia, their Maui venue wedding at the Outrigger Ka’anapali Beach Resort was more than just a ceremony; it was the beginning of forever, wrapped in the spirit of aloha.
The Outrigger Ka’anapali Beach Resort offered the perfect blend of intimacy and island grandeur, ocean views that stretched endlessly, palm trees swaying gently above, and a salty sweetness in the air that seemed to bless every moment. Hawaii has this way of slowing everything down, letting love take center stage. It’s why so many couples choose it, not just for its beauty, but for its energy. There’s a deep, natural magic here that makes every “I do” feel sacred. So we were more than excited to be a part of Tia and Anastasia’s beautiful day! Keep reading to see more!

Surrounded by their loved ones, Tia and Antasia exchanged heartfelt vows beneath a stunning driftwood arch adorned with tropical blooms. They both were utterly radiant! You could feel the love in every glance they shared and every burst of laughter from their guests.
What made this day even more special was the presence of their closest family and friends, the people who had supported them, cheered for them, and celebrated them every step of the way. The laughter was genuine, the hugs were long, and the joy was radiant. It was one of those weddings that reminded everyone present what love truly looks like: calm, steady, and full of light.
The Outrigger Ka’anapali Beach Resort offered a setting that matched the heart of their day perfectly, private yet open, serene yet full of life, with the beach just steps away for sunset portraits that glowed like a dream.

From their first kiss as newlyweds to their romantic portraits along the beach, the day felt effortlessly authentic. They are just two beautiful souls, deeply in love, celebrating in one of the most stunning places on earth.
The golden Maui light wrapped around them like a warm embrace, illuminating every shared glance and soft smile. As they walked hand in hand along the shoreline, the ocean reflected the same calm and radiance they carried, that unmistakable glow of two people completely at peace in love.

As the sun dipped low on the horizon, the light turned a warm, honey-gold, painting the sky in soft shades of blush and amber. Tia and Antasia stood together, bathed in that glowing Maui light, savoring every second of the moment they had dreamed of. They weren’t rushing, posing, or thinking ahead; they were present, soaking in the beauty of their first sunset as newlyweds. It was tender, peaceful, and filled with a quiet kind of joy that only true love brings.
Congratulations to you both! May your lives be forever lit by this same golden warmth and overflowing happiness!

Some stories feel like they’re written in the stars or, in this case, written by the waves. Mason and Jenny’s Maui beach wedding at Polo Beach was a picture of effortless romance: soft golden light, gentle surf, and two people who looked like they had just stepped out of a dream.
Both from the DC area, Mason, originally from Connecticut, and Jenny, from North Carolina, these two foodies and travelers have built a life full of shared adventures and laughter (and their two beloved standard poodles, Milky and Coco). Their love story began in college nearly seven years ago and led them around the world, even to Japan, where Mason proposed at a serene hot springs inn with Mt. Fuji in the background. That memory, surrounded by natural beauty and quiet magic, set the tone for their Maui “I do.” Keep reading to see more of their incredible day!

They chose Maui because they wanted a place that felt eternal, a destination they could always return to. Polo Beach offered exactly that: a romantic, timeless setting where the ocean seemed to shimmer just for them. The ceremony was intimate and heartfelt, shared with their closest family and friends who traveled to celebrate love under the Hawaiian sky. They exchanged their vows in the center of an exquisite pastel colored floral circle that made their ceremony even more magical…

Afterward, they took newlywed portraits along the shore, the light softening into dreamy pastels. The waves lapped at their feet as they laughed, held hands, and simply soaked in the moment. It was tender, joyful, and utterly them.

Their newlywed portraits were pure romance, the kind that makes your heart ache in the best possible way. Against the soft glow of the Maui sunset, Mason and Jenny looked completely lost in each other. She held her pastel bouquet close, the delicate pinks and creams mirroring the dreamy sky above, while he wrapped her in an embrace that said everything words couldn’t. The golden light kissed her gown as it trailed gracefully across the sand. Maui was totally showing off for the new Mr. and Mrs. that evening!
The simplicity of the beach, the rhythm of the waves, and the tender joy between them made every image timeless. You could feel the love, gratitude, and sheer wonder radiating from them. The golden sun illuminated their love most breathtakingly…

Congratulations, Mason and Jenny! Your Maui wedding was the perfect blend of beauty, love, and adventure. May every return to the island feel like coming home.

Some love stories take their time, unfolding slowly and beautifully until the moment feels just right. And Rick and Navy’s is exactly that kind of story. They first met back in 2004 while working together in retail, where friendship came first and love followed years later. Seven years ago, they finally took the leap from coworkers to soulmates, and when Rick proposed over dinner in Canada this past March, it set the stage for the most beautiful new chapter, their Maui venue wedding.
Held at the Royal Lahaina Resort, their ceremony was intimate and heartfelt, the kind that makes you believe in love all over again. They stood together on the lawn, surrounded by the island’s lush beauty and ocean views that stretched endlessly behind them. The Hawaiian breeze seemed to pause in reverence as they said their vows, their words filled with gratitude, joy, and quiet certainty….

They looked absolutely stunning, Navy glowing with happiness and Rick beaming with pride. Their three children were there too, making it not just a wedding but a celebration of family, laughter, and togetherness.
The resort’s oceanfront lawn offered the perfect mix of privacy and breathtaking views, creating a serene and romantic setting for their vows. With the Pacific stretching endlessly behind them, and the soft sound of the waves nearby, it felt like their own little corner of paradise. One of the best things about this venue is how effortlessly it combines the best of both world, a secluded, elegant setting with easy beach access for stunning portraits just steps away.

Afterward, they wandered down to the beach and around the property for portraits. The sunset bathed everything in golden light, making their joy shine even brighter. Every photo radiated warmth, connection, and that unmistakable Maui magic. The softness of the sunset glow made their portraits feel so timeless and radiant. That’s the beauty of a Maui venue wedding: you have the privacy and natural beauty of the island all around you. This was a private moment for just the two of them to savor before they went off to celebrate!

There’s something undeniably magical about eloping in Maui. Maybe it’s the way the sun melts into the horizon, or how the ocean waves roll in for the perfect soundtrack. For Anthony and Madelaine, their Maui elopement wasn’t just a wedding, it was an experience where love met the beauty of family.
Their ceremony took place at Po‘olenalena Beach, one of those rare places where time seems to stand still. The scene needed no decoration, Maui itself was the perfect setting. The golden sand, swaying palms, and gentle rhythm of the Pacific created a natural cathedral, reminding everyone that sometimes, all you need is love (and maybe a little tropical breeze)…

What made the day even more special was having their kids by their side, witnessing this beautiful new chapter unfold. Their laughter and beaming smiles added a warmth that only family can bring. It wasn’t just a wedding, it was a celebration of their love story and the family they’ve built together.
Anthony and Madelaine stood in the sand, surrounded by the beauty of the island and the enormity of the moment. Their vows were simple and heartfelt, full of laughter and emotion. Their Maui elopement was a pure hearted family affair…

Eloping in Maui offers something truly special: the freedom to focus entirely on what matters, love, family, and the breathtaking scenery around you. The island permits you to breathe, to slow down, and to celebrate love in its purest form.
After they exchanged their vows beneath the golden Maui sun, we captured some family portraits with their sweet kiddos, and honestly, it was pure joy. The way Anthony and Madelaine looked at their children, eyes full of love and pride, was enough to melt anyone’s heart. These photos weren’t just portraits; they were a reflection of their happiness, their bond, and the beautiful life they’ve built together in paradise. The sunset was incredible that evening and made everything golden and glow. The setting couldn’t have been more romantic! Madelaine looked incredible with her flowing veil and Anthony looked so handsome in this classic navy suit. Together, they are a match made in paradise…

Here’s the thing about Maui: it has this ridiculous ability to make you believe that time has slowed down in a Maui venue wedding. Some love stories take their time, steady, patient, and all the stronger for it. Michelle and William’s Maui venue wedding at the Royal Lahaina Resort was exactly that kind of day: full of joy, laughter, and a deep sense of finally, we’re here.
They met eight years ago and got engaged on a California beach three years ago. Life moved fast, new jobs, new state, new adventures, and the wedding plans waited patiently in the wings. But when the timing finally felt right, everything fell into place. The best part? Michelle’s sister was getting married the day before, so the entire family was already on the island, ready to keep the celebration going.
Both Michelle and Will work as train conductors, a life that keeps them busy and always in motion. Their son, Billy, is their greatest joy, and together, the three of them fill their days with family time, laughter, and the simple happiness of being together. We were thrilled to bring their special day to life, so keep reading to see more of their unforgettable celebration!

Their Maui wedding day was everything they hoped it would be: relaxed, full of love, and surrounded by the people who matter most. The Royal Lahaina Resort set the perfect scene, with tropical vibes, ocean breeze, and an atmosphere that made everyone feel at home. Their ceremony was simple, elegant, and beautiful. It focused on their love, commitment, and their sacred promise to one another. No fluff, no distractions from their love.

After the ceremony, they wandered the Royal Lahaina property for their newlywed portraits, glowing in that warm Maui light. Every tropical corner offered another perfect backdrop. Michelle looked radiant in a lace gown with a flowing veil that caught the breeze just right. Will, in his island-inspired look, was the definition of easy-breezy Hawaiian cool. Together, they looked completely at ease, two people exactly where they were meant to be.

As the evening faded, they made their way down to the beach, where the ocean glowed under the sunset. Those final portraits, barefoot, smiling, completely in love, captured everything the day stood for: family, joy, and the beauty of forever.

Some love stories are written slowly, in the quiet in-between moments, in hallways between classes, in years spent growing apart and finding your way back. Ethan and Erika’s Maui venue wedding at Gather wasn’t just a celebration of their love; it was the culmination of years of resilience, faith, and choosing each other, again and again.
They’d known each other almost forever. He was the boy with the crush in middle school; she was the girl kind enough to let him down softly. Life sent them on parallel paths, dating on and off, missing each other by just enough time, until, in 2016, everything finally aligned. They found their rhythm, and the rest, as they say, was inevitable! Keep reading to see more of their big day!

But first, here is a little history of their love story. During his final semester of law school, Ethan survived a devastating car accident that left him hospitalized for 69 days. For weeks, Erika fed him by hand, sat by his side, and reminded him what hope felt like. He was determined to walk again, and more importantly, to kneel! When he finally did, it was in front of Erika, during what she thought was a Christmas photo session. With her grandmother’s ring in his hand, he asked her to marry him. And she, through tears and laughter, told him to stand up before he hurt his knee again! Their day was proof of something simple and true: love doesn’t just survive hard things. It shines brighter because of them.
Their Maui wedding at Gather felt like a sacred moment of beauty after so much perseverance. The ceremony was intimate, surrounded by their closest friends and family, framed by sweeping ocean views and bright morning light. Their vows were filled with gratitude, for second chances, for healing, and for love that endures.

Their Maui venue wedding morning felt like the perfect reflection of that journey, bright, bold, and beautifully alive. The ceremony was intimate, filled with laughter, tears, and the unwavering support of their closest family and friends. When they exchanged vows, there was this sense, quiet but powerful, that everyone there was witnessing the beginning of their next chapter.

Afterward, Ethan and Erika headed to the beach, where their newlywed portraits captured that unmistakable Maui glow. The colors were vibrant, turquoise water, golden sand, and the bright tones of morning light. She looked radiant in her flowing gown, barefoot in the sand, while his smile was just as bright as the sunshine. We can’t think of a better way to start a day than marrying the love of your life!

It was a morning that felt like a beginning, not just of marriage, but of a lifetime they fought hard to reach. A reminder that love, when tested, becomes something unbreakable. Congratulations to you both!

Some love stories feel like they were always meant to circle back home. For Meghan, born and raised on Maui, there was never a doubt; this island was where she’d say “I do.” And when she and Michael planned their Maui venue wedding at Gather, it wasn’t just about the view (though let’s be honest,
