They met this spring at a concert in Vancouver, two people from opposite ends of the world, she from Kyiv, he from Novosibirsk, drawn together by timing, music, and something that felt instantly, quietly right. Life has carried them on winding paths. Karyna was a doctor in Ukraine before the war uprooted her life; now she works in aesthetic medicine in Vancouver.
