There are sunsets… and then there are Maui sunsets. And for Ron and Meghan, their Maui beach wedding was exactly that, sunset included, RSVP’d, and glowing with approval.
Set against the natural beauty of Southside Beach, their intimate ceremony had all the makings of a scene from a romance novel. You know, the kind where the ocean sparkles like a supporting character and the sun is golden. Meghan, radiant and graceful, was escorted down the shoreline by her daughters, who looked proud and so happy for her. It was the kind of moment that felt suspended in time, with waves lapping quietly in agreement…
Maui has this special way of making everything feel more personal. Maybe it’s the way the golden light wraps around you like a soft hug, or how the island’s natural beauty makes everything else fade away except the people right in front of you. No arches needed. No elaborate decor. Just the sand, the sea, and the promise of forever.
Ron stood waiting with a look that said a thousand things, most of them sounding like “wow.” Their ceremony was simple, meaningful, and full of emotion, the kind of wedding that makes you forget anyone else is on the planet.
After vows were exchanged, they stayed to soak in the pastel sky as the sun slipped below the horizon, painting their wedding in golden-pink perfection. It was the most fitting ending to their day, quiet, breathtaking, and entirely about the two of them.
Congratulations, Ron and Meghan! Your Maui beach wedding was a reminder that sometimes the most intimate moments shine the brightest!

There’s something universally magical about witnessing two people say “I do,” and Chad and Janet’s Maui venue wedding was the kind of love story that leaves your heart smiling for days. At Gather in Maui, surrounded by ocean breeze and golden light, their celebration unfolded with simplicity, elegance, and a whole lot of heart.
Let’s start with Janet, shall we? Because wow. She made her entrance like a scene straight out of a romance film. Radiant in her gown with a sweeping veil that floated like mist behind her, she walked with poise, grace, and just the right amount of joy peeking through every step. And Chad, standing under a beautifully adorned arch, set perfectly against the tropical backdrop, looked both awestruck and completely at peace as he watched his stunning bride come toward him. (Honestly, we’ll never get tired of that moment!)
We love weddings of all shapes and sizes, but there’s something special about the ones that keep things simple and true to the couple. That’s exactly what this was. A heartfelt ceremony, filled with sweet glances, personal vows, and a palpable sense of “this is right.” The venue itself, Gather, was the perfect setting for this kind of day. With its modern island vibe, lush landscaping, and proximity to the ocean, it offered the best of both worlds: an intimate atmosphere and an epic backdrop.
After sealing their vows with a kiss, Chad and Janet snuck away to Southside Beach for their newlywed portraits. And oh, the sunset, Maui did not hold back! The sky painted itself in soft pinks, warm golds, and the kind of glowy light that photographers dream about. We couldn’t stop clicking the shutter as they strolled barefoot through the sand, stealing kisses and laughing like they were the only two people in the world. Aren’t they just gorgeous? That veil, that light, that sparkle, that look! We are here for all of it!
Congratulations, Chad and Janet! Thank you for letting us be a part of your effortlessly beautiful celebration. May the decades ahead be full of love and light! We send you all the blessings and lots of aloha!

Steve and Sydney’s Maui venue wedding was the definition of effortless beauty, simple, thoughtful, and full of the kind of joy that you can’t fake. Their celebration at Gather in Maui perfectly captured everything they wanted their big day to be: relaxed, elegant, and surrounded by the natural beauty of the island they love.
From the very beginning, their vision was all about keeping things easy and meaningful. Nothing too over-the-top—just well-curated, cozy, and intentional. And that’s exactly how it felt. With soft ocean breezes and a backdrop that looked like a postcard, Sydney and Steve had the most incredible day.
Sydney looked absolutely stunning in her cream gown, timeless and elegant with a modern, easy grace that suited her perfectly. Steve looked equally handsome and relaxed, the kind of groom who was clearly just thrilled to be marrying his best friend. Together, they radiated warmth, love, and that laid-back magic Maui does so well. Our photographer had the pleasure of capturing them before the ceremony; the excitement and joy were palpable!
Their Maui venue wedding ceremony was sweet and sincere, set against the lush, breezy setting at Gather. They said “I do” surrounded by beauty and love. It was everything they hoped for and felt like a total dream come true. That’s why we love what we do so much; love stories like Steve and Sydney!
That golden-hour walk along the shoreline? Pure magic. They laughed, they strolled barefoot in the sand, and they soaked in every second together. It was so simple, and so lovely, exactly the kind of moment that makes a wedding unforgettable.
Congratulations, Steve and Sydney! Your day was everything it needed to be, beautiful, meaningful, and totally you. We loved every second of it.

Some love stories start with sparks. Evelyn and Benjamin started with playdates. Yep—these two grew up together, their families intertwined long before romance ever entered the picture. Some love stories take a few chapters to get going, and Stephanie and Brandon’s started with a high school acquaintance, a decade of life in between, and then a beautifully timed reconnection in their twenties. Fast forward through ten years of memories, a sweet daughter, and a surprise proposal during a maternity shoot in Oahu, and you’ve got a couple who knows how to balance romance, real life, and just the right amount of Disney magic.
So it only made sense that their “I do” moment would happen somewhere meaningful, sunlit, and serene: a Maui beach wedding!
Now, if you’ve never been to Hawaii, let us set the scene! Think golden sand stretching in every direction and an endless ocean expanse. It’s beautiful without trying too hard, just like Stephanie and Brandon’s wedding day.
The vibe was exactly what they had hoped for: relaxed, elegant, and so incredibly lovely. And when Brandon saw Stephanie for the first time, walking toward him, he couldn’t believe his eyes. The look on his face said it all. You could see every bit of the last ten years in that moment: the love, the memories, and the excitement of everything still to come.
Stephanie looked radiant, glowing with that quiet confidence and joy that only comes from marrying your best friend. Brandon, equally dashing and beaming, couldn’t stop smiling, and we don’t blame him.
It wasn’t just a wedding. It was a celebration of a life they’ve already started building. And it was a celebration of a full of family with their little girl, food adventures in Napa, and holiday trips to Disneyland.
Stephanie and Brandon’s connection is the kind that’s easy to photograph, unforced, full of warmth. And their story just so happens to have Hawaii woven through it, from their first vacation to Maui together, to a proposal in Oahu, and now, their wedding day on the very island that started it all.
As the sun dipped lower, casting that signature Maui glow across the beach, they exchanged vows that were both heartfelt and full of meaning, ten years in the making. Their beach ceremony was quiet in the best way: peaceful, intimate, and free from distractions. Just the sound of the ocean, the people who mattered most, and two hearts that already knew they belonged together.
The golden light that evening was everything. It wrapped around them like a warm hug, casting a soft glow over the sand, the ocean. Stephanie’s dress caught the light beautifully, and Brandon couldn’t take his eyes off her. The way they looked at each other, completely in their element, completely in love was effortless to capture.
After their barefoot celebration on the beach, they headed to The Plantation House for an intimate reception, gathering with loved ones over delicious food, heartfelt toasts, and the kind of golden-hour views you can only get in Maui. It was warm, personal, and the perfect ending to a day that already felt like a dream.
Congratulations, Stephanie and Brandon! Your Maui wedding was a beautiful reflection of your journey, your joy, and everything that makes your story uniquely yours. Here’s to ten years down, forever to go!

We are so excited to share Christina and Wesley’s elegant Maui venue wedding with you! So, when Christina and Wesley first met at Huntington Beach Library—yes, the library!—and kicked off their first date with Pokémon Go, a walk through the nature park, and boba, they were just two people figuring life out together. Ten years later, after building a life filled with family time, late-night TV sessions, and a glitter-filled proposal on a quiet park bench, they found themselves exchanging vows in one of the most breathtaking venues in all of Hawaii.
Their Maui wedding took place at the Grand Wailea’s Seaside Chapel, a hidden gem tucked within one of Maui’s most iconic luxury resorts. The Grand Wailea, a Waldorf Astoria property, is the kind of place that makes you audibly exhale the moment you step onto the grounds. With lush tropical gardens, waterfalls, koi ponds, and sweeping views of the Pacific, it’s a destination that feels both elevated and effortlessly connected to its surroundings. Keep reading and you’ll see what we mean!
What we love about this venue—and why it was perfect for Christina and Wesley—is how it blends luxury with ease. The staff at the Grand Wailea are warm, gracious, and incredibly attentive. Couples feel cared for the moment they arrive. The gardens, walkways, and beachfront paths offer a seamless mix of portrait backdrops, from manicured elegance to wild coastal beauty. It’s one of our favorite venues to photograph. We’re always thrilled to partner with the Grand Wailea to help bring these love stories to life.
The Seaside Chapel itself is intimate and serene, with a vaulted ceiling, and tall colored stained-glass windows that fill the space with natural light. It sits at the edge of the resort, just a short walk from the ocean, nestled among palm trees and tropical foliage. The chapel has an air of timeless romance, made even more special by its setting, surrounded by nature, but within reach of all the refined comforts you’d expect from a Waldorf Astoria property.
Their Maui venue wedding ceremony in the Seaside Chapel was full of quiet joy. Watching Christina walk down the aisle with soft light streaming through the windows felt like something out of a painting. Wesley’s reaction said everything, equal parts awe, happiness, and deep love. It was one of those moments that’s hard to put into words but impossible to forget.
For Christina and Wesley, this day was all about intention. They kept things small and meaningful, surrounded by the people closest to them. Christina, a nurse with Kaiser Permanente, and Wesley, who works in supply chain at Northrop Grumman, both know the value of time well spent so they planned a day that allowed them to slow down, savor the moment, and just be present with one another. They had their friends and family by their side who were just as excited as we were about their special day. It meant so much to them to have their loved ones share in the celebrations!
This wedding was part of a larger trip with their close-knit group of friends, who usually gather in Mammoth or Tahoe but unanimously agreed that Hawaii was the perfect next stop. As Christina shared, Maui offered “the best of both worlds”—a little city, a little nature, and the perfect blend of relaxation and adventure.
Afterward, we explored the grounds together for portraits. The beauty of the Grand Wailea is that no matter where you are tucked beneath palm trees, strolling past the water features, or standing along the shoreline you’re surrounded by a sense of tranquility and understated grandeur. Christina and Wesley were completely at ease. They laughed, held hands, and took their time. It was a celebration, yes, but also a reflection of the life they’ve built: grounded, joyful, and full of love.
Christina and Wesley always joked about a Hawaii wedding one day. Now, that day has come has arrived!
Of course, we couldn’t resist a walk down to the beach. Just steps from the chapel, the shoreline offered the perfect ending to their portrait session. It was relaxed, romantic, and full of that just-married-in-Maui glow. These portraits? Some of our absolute favorites.
Congratulations, Christina and Wesley! Your wedding at the Grand Wailea’s Seaside Chapel was thoughtful, elegant, and full of heart. We’re so honored to have been part of this unforgettable chapter and to celebrate alongside you at one of Maui’s most stunning venues.

There’s something seriously swoon-worthy about a love story that begins in college, weathers a decade of life together (including building a business and raising three very fluffy Huskies), and ends up with barefoot vows in a dreamy Maui elopement!
Cynthia and Nicholas did just that. And let us tell you, it was all kinds of perfect.
After ten years of partnership, laughter, hard work, and weekend hikes (not to mention wrangling their trio of Huskies), these two decided to celebrate their love with something simple, stunning, and totally stress-free. And what better way than eloping in Maui, where the ocean sparkles like sequins, the breeze always feels like it’s on your side, and love just kind of floats through the air? Keep reading, you won’t want to miss this one…
They chose Baldwin Beach for their big moment, imagine wide open sands, rolling turquoise waves, and that kind of golden light that makes everything glow. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to take your shoes off and never, ever put them back on.
Which is exactly what they did. Barefoot bliss, Hawaiian edition.
There was no crowd. No schedule. No fancy seating chart or five-tier cake. Just Cynthia and Nicholas, the sound of the waves, and ten years’ worth of love building up to this quiet, powerful moment. And honestly? That kind of intimacy is as romantic as it gets.
And when we say they looked happy, we mean that glowing, unbothered, completely-in-their-element kind of happy that can only come from knowing you’ve just made the best decision of your life. Twice, once in college, and once again here, on a beach in paradise.
Their love is rooted in years of shared dreams, hard work, and adventure. But that’s what made their elopement so beautiful. It wasn’t a beginning, it was a celebration of everything they’d already built together with sandy feet and a salty “I, do.” It was relaxed and so them in every way…
They laughed, they kissed, they walked hand-in-hand along the shoreline like the whole beach belonged to them, which, in that moment, it kind of did. Our photographer captured every second of it: the easy joy on their faces, the way Nicholas looked at Cynthia like she was the only thing in the world, the wind dancing through her hair as if Maui itself was celebrating with them. We love how effortless they look, so at ease with one another and soaking up the present moment…
Congratulations, Cynthia and Nicholas! Your Maui elopement was romantic, relaxed, and just so… you. We loved capturing the magic of your barefoot “I do,” and we can’t wait to see where your next decade of love (and dogs, and hiking, and bliss) takes you.

Here’s the thing about love stories: sometimes they start with a grand, cinematic moment—a whirlwind, a lightning strike, a meet-cute involving spilled coffee and a lot of blushing. And sometimes? There’s something deeply poetic about meeting someone in the middle of your story. Josef had already zigzagged across the country, from sunny Orlando to the mountains of Asheville, from Texas heat to Minnesota chill, before he met Lauren. And Lauren, born and raised in a quiet southern Minnesota town, had already braved the front lines of a global pandemic as a hospital nurse when their paths finally crossed in the spring of 2021. As all great modern love stories go, it started with mutual friends, a little spark, and, eventually, a sunset proposal in Jamaica.
So when it came time to plan their Maui beach wedding, they didn’t want anything flashy. No ballrooms or overly decorated venues. They wanted beauty. Simplicity. A setting that spoke for itself. And honestly? They found it, on the golden shores of D.T. Fleming Beach in Maui.
Lauren had never been to Hawaii before, but she had always dreamed of it. Josef had only seen Kauai years ago, but Maui? This was a first for both of them. And what a stunning way to be introduced to it, by pledging forever at the edge of the ocean, surrounded by soft sand, a gentle breeze, and just enough cloud cover to make the sky feel dramatic in all the right ways.
Their Maui beach wedding was intimate, quiet in the best way. No distractions. Just them, the sound of the waves rolling in, and a promise sealed with barefoot kisses and full hearts. The beach, with its windswept palms and sun-dappled surf, was all the décor they needed. When love looks that effortless, nature knows how to take a step back and let it shine.
Lauren was absolutely radiant, glowing not just with Maui sun but with the kind of warmth that comes from knowing you’re exactly where you’re meant to be. Josef, ever the steady calm to her sunshine, looked dashing in the way someone does when they know they’ve found their forever.
After the “I dos,” they lingered on the beach. They soaked it in. The sky softened into pastel shades, and they held hands, barefoot in the sand, laughing and glowing like people who know the best adventure is the one they just began. You could feel it in the air—that this wasn’t just a ceremony. It was a chapter, a moment stitched into their story with salt air and sand between their toes.
Congratulations, Lauren and Josef! Your Maui beach wedding was everything it needed to be, simple, soulful, and full of joy. Here’s to many more sunsets, road trips, and boat rides together… and to a love that continues to feel like the best kind of home.

Some couples plan a Maui elopement with spreadsheets, vision boards, and Pinterest rabbit holes. Danielle and Harry? They went with sunshine, simplicity, a flower circle, and a little slice of Hawaiian paradise. Honestly, we approve.
These two are both nurses (yes, real-life superheroes), and after long shifts and saving lives, they’ve earned the right to say “I do” with their toes in the sand and the ocean in the background. And that’s exactly what they did, on their very first trip to Hawaii, no less!
Their elopement took place at Polo Beach, a hidden gem on Maui’s sunny southwest shore that basically looks like it was pulled from a postcard. With golden sand, gentle waves, it was the perfect setting for their “just us” kind of day.
Danielle and Harry knew they didn’t want a big wedding. No color-coded seating charts or cake tastings for these two. What they wanted was simple, beautiful, and meaningful, and wow, did they nail it. With the Pacific Ocean stretching out behind them and the sky doing that cotton-candy sunset thing Hawaii does so well, they exchanged vows that were full of love, laughter, and just a few happy tears.
And though they didn’t have a guest list a mile long, they weren’t completely alone. Their sweet pup might not have been able to make the trip, but it’s safe to say they carried a piece of their fur baby with them in spirit. Their elopement was beautiful and just what they envisioned.
After their Maui elopement ceremony, Danielle and Harry soaked in the moment, barefoot and glowing with post-”I do” joy. They strolled along the shoreline, wrapped in each other and a breeze that couldn’t have been better if we’d ordered it ourselves. There were no distractions, just laughter, a lot of hand-holding, and that kind of contentment that comes from knowing you just married your favorite person in the world.
They ended the day exactly how you’d expect two nature-loving, travel-obsessed, dog-devoted, slightly-sandy newlyweds to: watching the sun dip below the horizon, side by side, already dreaming of what comes next. Maybe a hike, maybe a dog-filled reunion back home, but definitely together!
Congratulations, Danielle and Harry! Your Maui elopement was everything a wedding should be joyful, authentic, and beautifully you. Here’s to a lifetime of adventures, sunset strolls, and cuddles with your pup. And if every anniversary involves a little sand between your toes and a lot of love? Even better. Enjoy the rest of your time in Hawaii!

You know that trope in romantic comedies where two people with wildly different hobbies fall madly in love and somehow make it all work? That’s Taylor and Andrew. She rides majestic dressage horses with the kind of poise that would make even a Disney princess feel underdressed. He rolls around (gracefully, we assume) in Jiu-Jitsu classes. Together? They’re the perfect blend of grit, grace, and romance and they tied the knot under dreamy plumeria trees.
Let’s rewind just a bit. Taylor and Andrew met through mutual friends (thank you, universe)! And eventually found themselves engaged on a literal cliff in the Arkansas Ozark Mountains. Yes, a cliff. With panoramic views and enough drama to rival any Jane Austen adaptation. Which, frankly, set the bar pretty high for their Maui wedding venue.
But Taylor had never been to Hawaii before and if you’re going to choose a place for your first-ever Hawaiian experience, it might as well be Maui, right? Andrew had been before and together they decided, hey, let’s get married AND honeymoon here. One flight. Double the magic!
Their wedding at the Four Seasons Maui was nothing short of cinematic. Beneath swaying plumeria trees and with the ocean humming gently in the background, Taylor and Andrew exchanged vows that had everyone swooning. But before all that? There was a first look.
And oh, the first look.
Let’s just say there were happy tears, big smiles, and that ineffable moment when time pauses, not because you told it to, but because the universe saw something too beautiful to rush. It was intimate and sweet and one of those “you had to be there” moments, except lucky for us… there were photos.
The ceremony itself? Straight out of a fairytale, if the fairytale took place in Maui and featured a happy couple saying “I do” under the most romantic canopy of plumeria trees you’ve ever seen. Plumeria Point at the Four Seasons isn’t just a location—it’s a feeling. With the Pacific sparkling in the distance, soft petals drifting on the breeze, and sunlight filtering through the trees like nature’s own spotlight, it was the kind of setting that made everyone collectively sigh.
Taylor walked toward Andrew with that once-in-a-lifetime kind of glow, and he looked at her like he already knew he’d just made the best decision of his life. The intimacy of the moment, the gentle hush of the ocean in the background, and the fragrance of plumeria in the air, it all felt like Maui itself was giving them its blessing.
From cliffside proposals to sun-soaked vows in Hawaii, Taylor and Andrew’s love story feels like a dream you’d want to live in. One filled with horses and Jiu-Jitsu mats, publishing projects and stable boots, laughter, devotion, and now, plenty of beachy memories as newlyweds.
Congratulations, Taylor and Andrew! Your Maui wedding was as joyful, meaningful, and effortlessly beautiful as the love you share. Here’s to many more sunsets and adventures together! Enjoy your honeymoon!

Let’s start with the obvious: Leila and Asa are ridiculously in love. Like, heart-eyes-across-the-room, finishing-each-other’s-sentences, “we do devotionals together and also crush Netflix” in love. And when a love like that lands on the golden shores of Hawaii? Well, an enchanting Maui beach wedding happens.
Leila is a pro nail tech with eight years of experience and the kind of boss energy that opens up her own business. Asa, a personal trainer with a big heart had been secretly smitten too when she sent him a note at the gym to text her. And his reaction to that note? One word: “ABSOLUTELY.” Yes, in all caps. The rest is history!
Fast-forward past the gym glances and the on-call shifts and we land here: on Polo Beach, in Maui, surrounded by a close-knit group of loved ones, with the most romantic circle of seaside baubles arranged perfectly in the sand. The sun? Shining. The water? Sparkling. The vibe? Dreamy and intimate and filled with love. Exactly what Leila and Asa had envisioned. Keep reading to see more of these two lovebird’s incredible day!
They said “I do” with the ocean behind them, the waves cheering them on, and their closest friends and family holding space for all the love that’s brought them here and the life they’re building next. It was sweet. Sacred. So them.
Let’s talk fashion: Asa looked seriously sharp in a light blue suit, giving tropical prince energy. Leila? Absolutely stunning. Like, stop-everything, heart-flip gorgeous. Her dress flowed in the breeze like it was part of the ocean itself, and the look in Asa’s eyes when he saw her? Let’s just say, no amount of gym training could’ve prepared him for that kind of emotional lift.
Afterward, we stole them away for sunset portraits that had everything: golden light, crashing waves, silhouettes that belong on the cover of a romance novel. And through it all, Leila and Asa couldn’t stop smiling at each other, whispering little things, hands always reaching for the other. Like they were the only two people on the beach and in some ways, they were. Aren’t they such a gorgeous couple?
Their love is playful and deep, grounded in faith and fierce loyalty. They’re homebodies, sure. But their kind of love? It deserves beaches, sunsets, and moments like this. Their love story makes us believe in true love and fate encounters…
Congratulations, Leila and Asa. You brought your love to paradise and made it even more beautiful. We’ll never forget your story! We send you all the love and blessings for the decades ahead!

Some love stories begin with fireworks. Others, like Tom and Crystal’s and their Maui beach wedding, unfold like a classic novel, quietly, steadily, and with the kind of soul-deep knowing that makes you believe in fate. Because when you meet at work forty years ago and still look at each other like you’re sharing a secret, you know it’s the real thing.
Tom, a financial advisor with an eye for details (and apparently, great suits), and Crystal, a business consultant who helps leadership teams thrive. And, after a decades-long journey together, full of laughter, partnership, and many, many trips to Mau, it felt only fitting to say “I do” in the place they’ve returned to for thirty years: the windswept cliffs of Ironwoods Beach.
It was the most beautiful day as you’ll see below!
The whole day radiated this kind of quiet, intentional elegance. Nothing fussy. Nothing overdone. Just timeless beauty in every direction. The breeze off the ocean, soft and salty. The sky, dreamy and expansive, like it was giving them a Hawaiian blessing. The kind of setting where you don’t need decorations because Maui is the decoration.
Crystal looked radiant, a vision of graceful beauty and elegant poise. Her dress was the kind that moved gently in the breeze and made everyone pause and say, “Wow.” Tom, ever the dapper gentleman, wore a pinstripe seersucker suit so sharp and handsome. Together, they looked like a couple straight out of a coastal romance novel, chic, composed, and utterly in love.
But here’s what made their wedding unforgettable: it wasn’t just a ceremony. It was a celebration of a life already deeply lived together. A moment of saying “yes” again, not just to each other, but to all the years that brought them to this point and all the years still ahead. The way they looked at one another, with this blend of comfort and spark, made everyone watching (including us!) feel like we were witnessing something sacred.
They stood barefoot on the sand, the waves just behind them and loved ones nearby, they said “I do.” And it couldn’t have been any more sacred or beautiful…
Their Maui beach wedding was romantic. It was beautiful. It was relaxed, tasteful, and so very them. And when the ceremony ended, the newlyweds lingered in the soft light of the evening, wrapped in each other’s arms, soaking in the moment, two hearts that had waited, worked, and chosen each other every day.
So here’s to Tom and Crystal, a love story built to last, and a wedding day that was nothing short of unforgettable.
Congratulations, you two. You’ve shown us all how beautiful love can be when it’s nurtured over time and sealed with the ocean breeze.

Let’s set the scene: Southside Beach, the waves rolling in like applause, a warm breeze doing that swooshy thing through palm trees, and Kevin and Tracy standing barefoot in the sand, completely and utterly in love. And surrounding them? Their six amazing kids—grinning, cheering, and fully embracing the aloha vibes. This wasn’t just a Maui

Let’s talk about fate and a Maui venue wedding. Not the cosmic, shooting stars, “I knew it when I saw them across the room” kind of fate. No, I’m talking about potsticker fate. The kind where you’re a little tipsy, it’s way past midnight, and you hand a stranger a steaming dumpling as a parting gift — and then, boom. You accidentally meet the love of your life.
That’s exactly how it started for this adorably introverted, karaoke-loving, sushi-obsessed couple. A potsticker. A mutual friend. And Arnell, who knew immediately that there was something special about her. She, on the other hand, was in her “I’m staying single, thanks” era. But Arnell? Persistent. Kind. Low-key charming. And eventually, very, very successful.
Flash forward past sweet moments, shared omakase meals, and a proposal so romantic it could be a Nicholas Sparks novel (yellow-themed surprise beach picnic? coordinated photographer? yellow roses and swan towel animals?!), and we arrive here: a breathtaking wedding at Merriman’s Kapalua on Maui…
The whole day felt like one long exhale, the kind where everything just makes sense. Their decision to swap a high-effort backyard wedding for a Maui destination celebration? Best idea ever! Not only did it mean less stress and more fun, it gave them something they truly value: a day focused on joy, love, and connection. And of course, aloha! Their Maui venue wedding was an intimate celebration of love, joy, and commitment. It meant the world to them to have their loved ones present.
With their closest people surrounding them, they laughed, hugged, and promised forever. The celebration was intimate but full of energy and brimming with love. They snuck away for some newlywed portraits that surely will leave anyone’s jaw on the floor! From the peaceful blue sky to a sunset that looked straight out of a postcard, the scenery was impossibly photogenic, only outshined by this gorgeous couple!
From San Diego to Oahu to Maui, these two have written a love story filled with shared playlists, quiet nights, and joyful chaos. They balance each other beautifully, have a room that is apparently never quiet (thanks, gaming + karaoke), and now they have a marriage as grounded and joyful as the island they chose to celebrate on.
Congratulations, you two. Your day was magic. Your love is magic. And we’re so happy to have captured every golden, windswept, wonderfully Maui moment.
