Allison & Carter’s Fun, Tropical Maui Venue Wedding

Their story started six years ago at Mt. Hood Community College. Carter walked over to introduce himself to a fellow Idaho kid, and somehow that small moment turned into a lifetime. After searching everywhere from Mexico to the Florida Keys, Allison and Carter landed on Maui instead. See the golden light on their ceremony lawn, or the two of them laughing barefoot on the sand, and you understand why. Fun, intimate, tropical and just formal enough, this wedding felt like the two of them from start to finish.
The ceremony itself was pure Maui magic. Palm trees swayed behind their friends and family, fresh lei draped over Carter’s shoulders. Allison glowed in the kind of light photographers dream about. From the sweetest first look to the joy of walking down the aisle together, every frame captured two people who genuinely cannot stop smiling.

Then came the beach session, where the real personality came out. Piggyback rides, twirls in the sand, a groom dipping his bride for one dramatic sunset kiss. This is a couple who loves to laugh. They spend their free time skiing together or chasing a pickleball around the court, and they clearly brought that same easy joy into their wedding day.
Allison had never been to Hawaii before this trip. Carter and his family knew Maui well, so this wedding became a true introduction to the islands for her and her whole family. What a way to fall in love with a place. Congratulations to Allison and Carter.
