Right as the sun lowered below the horizon, its rays made the sky glow luminously. This natural brilliance enhanced the romantic and enchanting ambiance!

However, our favorite part of this sunset occasion was the cake cutting! Since this was Alexis and Cody’s first experience as husband and wife, we knew it would be unforgettable. Hawaii has a special place in Haily and Hugo’s hearts! Since they met one another on the island, they knew there was no better place to tie the knot. Why We Love Their Maui Venue Wedding

Merriman’s Kapalua was the location for this event, and this spot provided us with breathtaking scenes! Silky clouds and the setting sun’s luminous glow were decorating the sky. Then the lush lawn and lofty palm trees created a magical landscape. However, we adore how exquisite the circle arch is with the vivid greenery. It enhances the dreamy ambiance and makes this ceremony look like a tropical fairytale!

Our Couple’s Story

Fate was working overtime when Haily and Hugo met! In November 2016, Haily moved to Maui because she got a new job. Then in February 2017, Hugo visited the island with his mother, brother, and brother’s girlfriend to celebrate his mom’s birthday! After his brother mentioned a dating app, Hugo decided to try it during his vacation.

Once Haily and Hugo both swiped right on each other, Hugo messaged her to make a connection. Then, one day later, they met up at Canoe Beach! From there, they never stopped talking. Then in 2018, Haily moved back to California to be closer to Hugo and her family.

The weather forecast said it was supposed to rain all day, but lucky for us, it didn’t. It’s almost as if this Maui venue wedding was meant to be!

Their one-year-old daughter was the flower girl! Although she got a little fussy during the ceremony, she was nothing but smiles when she was in her parents’ arms. You can tell Haily and Hugo are great parents to their little one!

Our Couple’s Story

Matt and Sarah first met one another while working at Walgreens in 2013. At the time, he was sent to Chicago on a specific assignment by Boots, a drugstore in the United Kingdom. First, our delightful duo became friends and occasionally met up.

Then in 2018, Matt and Sarah grew closer! Once our passionate pair realized there was something more, so they started a long-distance relationship. After spending 2019 traveling the world together, they had no doubts they wanted to spend their lives together! Finally, in December 2020, Matt popped the magic question. While Sarah was visiting Matt at his home in the United Kingdom — he proposed!

The day you get married should be nothing short of perfect! Christa and Michael’s Maui destination wedding was enchanting. The location was scenic, our charming couple was blissful, and most importantly, every part of this ceremony was heartwarming! Continue scrolling to experience this event for yourself.

This ceremony started with Michael taking his spot at the top of the seaside by the officiant. Then, it was time for CJ from Manutea Nui E to play some soothing tunes with his ukulele. After this, the entrances began! First, the maid of honor and best man walked down the shore. Then, when she was ready, Christa glided down the sand with her mother by her side.

Why We Love Their Maui Destination Wedding

Christa and Michael’s ceremony was unplugged — this meant no phones were allowed during this event. We adore the lack of devices because this meant everyone could focus on our delightful couple and savor this wedding. During the Reverend Kuya’s sermon, Gaucho Films and Karma Hill Photography effortlessly captured every significant moment. Not only do you get to see this radiant duo exchange rings. Their photographer, Samantha, also took the perfect portrait of Christa and Michael’s first kiss as a married pair! Above all, we like how romantic all of these pictures are. 

Polo Beach was the location for this event, and we wouldn’t have asked for a more flawless backdrop! The long sandy shore provided plenty of space for this Maui destination wedding and the seventeen guests. Next, the landscape was breathtaking! You can see the dreamy sunset painting the sky exquisitely! Lastly, the striking lava rocks, lush greenery, and cerulean waves are a picturesque scene!

Brooke and John decided to get married in Maui because they heard great things from another couple. In 2019, two of their good friends tied the know with us. After learning this, we wanted nothing more than to make sure our charming duo’s special day was unforgettable! Their ceremony focused on what’s most important to them — their affection for one another and their devotion to God.

The Location For Their Maui Beach Wedding

Kanaha Beach is a local spot located near central Maui. This destination is quiet and empty — making it perfect for Brooke and John’s wedding! Surrounding our beautiful duo are striking rock formations, pearl sand, and sapphire waves. Then as the sun sets on the dramatic mountains, it leaves a warm glow on the shore. We adore how this natural brilliance creates a romantic and dreamy ambiance!

Our Couple’s Story

When Brooke and John met, they were in similar places in their lives — which helped them open their hearts. Since our gorgeous couple understood one another, it was easier for them to share their experiences. However, the first things they connected were their adoration for their children and passion for serving God!

This getaway was our spiritual duo’s first time on the island. Although they’ve been to Honolulu, this was their first time experiencing a new island. We’re glad they decided to have a beach wedding in Maui because it was elegant, simple, and divine!

Most importantly, you can tell Brooke and John are feeling blissful to be surrounded by Hawaii’s natural beauty and culture. They’re smiling brightly and have an undeniable newlywed glow in every shot captured by Karma Hill Photography!
