Ashley and Martin wanted to have a Hawaii wedding and honeymoon all in one! Surrounding our charming couple was breathtaking scenery and their immediate loved ones. Tranquil, rustic, and simple are a few words Ashley and Martin would use to describe their special day! Kahu Ricardo Hanako’o was the officiant for this event, and he delivered a deep and meaningful sermon. Next, Ashlyn from Karma Hill Photography captured all the big and small moments from this ceremony! However, we like how effortlessly each picture shows our stunning bride and groom’s blissful glow.
The Location For Their Hawaii Wedding
Po’olenalena beach was the backdrop for this wedding, and we adore how magical this spot is! Not to mention, the long shoreline is full of exquisite scenery. You can see the striking lava rocks, cerulean waves, and lush greenery decorating the background of every picture. Above our gorgeous couple were silky white clouds and a dreamy sunset! The soft colors painting the sky enhance the romantic ambiance for this occasion!
Our Couple’s Story
Ashley and Martin first met one another in their College Algebra class! Then, when the time was right, Martin asked her to be his girlfriend at Huntington Beach. Five years later, Martin popped the question to Ashley in the same spot. Our bride says the proposal was simple and sweet! They even captured this moment by using a tripod to take pictures after!
However, we can’t help but notice how perfect it was they had a Hawaii wedding! Our adventurous couple loves to be outdoors. Whether it’s backpacking up a mountain or relaxing on the beach — they enjoy spending time with one another in nature! After learning this, we knew a ceremony on the shores of Po’olenalena couldn’t be more fitting for them!
