Nicolette and Steven exchanged leis at the indoor chapel at The Steeple House. Since this is a private venue, this ceremony was so intimate. Not to mention, this spot is simply exquisite! Surrounding our charming couple are ethereal stained glass windows, an elegant chandelier, and rustic wood finishes. However, we like how they decorated the aisle with candles. These adornments add a beautiful touch to the space!

Why We Love Their Maui Venue Wedding

During Reverend Joe Miles’ sermon, there were so many heartwarming moments. Luckily, Ashlyn from Karma Hill Photography captured every single one of them! You can see the radiant smiles and looks of adorations in every shot. Then, once Rev. Joe Miles pronounced our stunning couple husband and wife, they had their first dance. CJ from Manutea Nui E effortlessly created a romantic ambiance as he played his ukulele! Above all, our favorite thing about this ceremony is how you can see the blissful expressions on Nicolette and Steven’s faces!

Our Couple’s Story

Nicolette and Steven’s story began years ago when they filmed in a fitness series together. At the time, they were both in relationships. However, fate had other plans for them because they ran into each other again! Six years after they first met, they saw one another at the gym where Nicolette was teaching Yoga. The timing couldn’t have been better since they were both single now!

Currently, Steven is a Civil Engineer, and Nicolette is a full-time San Diego Realtor. Steven has an eleven-year-old son, while Nicolette has a fourteen-year-old daughter. Although their kids didn’t accompany them to Hawaii, our charming couple plans to celebrate as a family in April! Lastly, our glowing newlyweds decided to have a Maui venue wedding because they adore this island. In 2019, when Nicolette and Steven visited, they fell in love with the natural beauty and one another all over again!

Janna and Andrew’s wedding was nothing short of elegant! The champagne and powder blue color scheme is minimalistic and exquisite. Then when Janna walked down the aisle, Jacob from Manutea Nui E played Cannon in D on his guitar. The melody made our bride’s grand entrance more magical. When it was time for the ceremony to begin, Reverend Kimo Kirkman delivered a heartfelt sermon. This event was so intimate — we can’t imagine our lovely couple tying the knot any other way!

The Steeple House was the venue for this wedding, and it set a breathtaking stage! Surrounding the chapel is Maui’s natural beauty. Everywhere you look, you’ll remember you’re in paradise! Enhancing the fairytale ambiance is a winding tree hanging above the arch. Although there was heavy cloud coverage, it made the sky look dreamy during dusk.

Our radiant newlyweds are an adventurous couple! They’ve hiked in the North Carolina Mountains, had a staycation at The Proximity Hotel, and traveled to the Dominican Republic. After we learned this, it was no surprise Janna and Andrew wanted to have a venue wedding in Maui. It was right up their alley!

The Meaningful Hawaii Venue Wedding

Dylan and the fourteen guests were the first people to arrive at the lush lawn. Our groom looked sharp in his classic black suit; it was elegant and complemented Tia’s gown exquisitely. Then, when the time was right, our bride made a breathtaking entrance with her parents by her side! Karma Hill Photography effortlessly captured how ethereal Tia looked! Her gown is sophisticated, her hair is timeless, and her makeup is chic. 

Kahu Euta was the minister, and he delivered a heartwarming sermon. During the ceremony, you can see how elated our delightful couple was to be marrying one another in Hawaii. And when they were pronounced husband and wife, their blissful newlywed glow was undeniable!

Our Couple’s Story

Our lovely couple’s story began when they met in 2007 while they were in high school. First, they had a class together, then two weeks later they started dating! Friendship, love, and trust have been the keys to keeping their relationship strong and healthy.

In 2013, Dylan popped the magic question on New Year’s Eve. Our captivating couple was watching Disneyland’s fireworks from the top of a parking structure when Dylan proposed! Since then, they have been trying to plan a flawless day to tie the knot. Above all, we’re overjoyed they got their perfect Hawaii venue wedding with us!

Currently, Dylan is an electrician, while Tia is a Registered Nurse. They are parents of two adorable dogs and two sweet cats! In their free time, you can find this adventurous pair hiking, fishing, and going on long drives. We hope you guys got to experience the sweeping views the trails in Maui offer! When they aren’t exploring the outdoors, they’ll spend time with their pets, play video games, or watch movies.

Our Couple’s Story

Our stunning couple first met when they were introduced on October 7, 2013, in one of the libraries at their college. Since fractions were Christie’s nemesis, Christian became her calculus tutor. After six years, on August 2, our lovely couple got engaged at the Ali’i Kula Lavender Farm! Immediately, they fell in love with the island during their vacation!

Currently, Christian is an Actuarial Analyst, while Christie is a Clinical Research Monitor for veterinary medicine. You can find them traveling, immersing themselves in new cultures, and eating awesome foods!

Our Couple’s Story

Jessica and Jered have been good friends since they were teenagers. They went on a few friend dates before they realized that they were destined to be more. The shock that these longtime friends were soulmates is what motivated them to get married. Jered popped the question while they were right next to Illumination Rock on Mount Hood — Jessica didn’t hesitate to say yes.

This adventurous couple loves to have fun new experiences together. Once, they snowshoed up and down a mountain together. So, it was no surprise to us that they loved the cliffs at Ironwoods Beach! More than anything, we love that their biggest adventure has been their venue wedding in Maui!

Tori and Tom met at a Halloween party. Tori was dressed up as a Pulp Fiction character and no one recognized who she was… except for Tom! From that moment on, their friendship blossomed. Tori and Tom realized they have a lot in common and after a few months of a great friendship, they turned their love into a romance. And clearly, they made the right decision! The historic Steeple House served as the venue for Hannah and Henry’s Maui micro wedding. Our bride put on her finishing touches in the suite and soon it was time to start the show! Wearing a flowing gown with floral applique, Hannah was a vision against the tropical greenery. We love the way Henry’s traditional suit popped with the red accents. 

Reverend Richardo had the pleasure of tying Hannah and Henry together through marriage. There were smiles and laughter as these two said “I do” and began their journey together as a married couple. Then it was time for the team at Karma Hill Photography to capture the after photos!

Hannah and Henry were fortunate enough to meet early in life, as way back as high school! When they found each other again in college, they knew it was meant to be. When the time was right, Henry took Hannah back to his family’s cabin in central Oregon, the same place they initially started dating. Emily and Eric’s Maui destination wedding was simply beautiful. Set on the grounds of the Steeple House in Kapalua and with loved ones present (including their adorable three-year-old son!), this ceremony had everything Maui wedding dreams are made of!

The Maui Destination Wedding

As the big moment got near, Emily dressed in the bridal suite of the Steeple House. Wearing a gown of lace and with hair that wouldn’t quit, Emily was beyond radiant.

When the ceremony began, our couple’s little man was dressed for the occasion! We love his mini maile lei and his adorable expression! He even brought snacks to watch the show!

The love shared between Emily and Eric was electric. And the wedding was all smiles and laughter and an occasional show-stealing moment from the cute kiddo! Scroll on for more!

Our Couple’s Story

Eric is an East coaster – confident, easy to talk to, and tough. Emily is a West coaster – friendly, reserved at first, and sensitive. Their adorable son was born on Valentine’s Day, which is suiting because he’s the love of their life! 

Emily and Eric’s story is one for the books! Read on for words from our bride: “We first met back in 2008 at a job. We were both in the same training class. We immediately caught each other’s eye… although we were both in separate relationships. A few years passed and we crossed paths at a different job! We were surprised to see each other, but still in separate relationships.”

“Fast forward a couple more years and our paths crossed again. We were both taking classes at the same school for our master’s program. We happened to have class on the same night, in the same building and saw each other as the elevator doors closed. (Like you see in the movies!) This time, we were both single and were able to reconnect.” 

“We started dating back in 2012. Eric proposed in Boston on December 23, 2016. We hadn’t really started planning our wedding when we found out we were pregnant with Ethan. We agreed it wasn’t the right time to get married yet, so the wedding was pushed to the back burner while we started life as a family of 3. Now that the pandemic is getting better and things have slowed down a bit, we figured it’s the perfect time to (finally) get married!” Congratulations, Emily and Eric!

It was such a pleasure to coordinate Staci and Jimmy’s Hawaii micro wedding! With a fun group of loved ones supporting them and the elegant setting of the Steeple House in Kapalua, it was truly a sweet and intimate ceremony.

With her best girls at her sides, Staci dressed in the bridal suite. Her sister, stepdaughter, and daughter were there to support her and share in her excitement. It was a gorgeous but windy and hot day in Kapalua, so the inside ceremony was the perfect breath of fresh air and intimacy. 

Staci’s parents live on Maui, and the Aloha spirit was alive and vivid during this Hawaii micro wedding. The bride’s mother decorated the chairs with leis, and one special seat was left open for Jimmy’s late son. It was a beautiful and sentimental day filled with love and the fragrant breeze of the ocean. 

Our Couple’s Story

Staci shared their love story with us, and it was so special, we have to share it on our blog. From our bride:

“Our story is special because we met many years ago in junior high. We reconnected through Facebook in 2016.  We had not seen each other since high school, so about 25 years. Our love story is one for the books.  He took me to Half Moon Bay in June 2020 and surprised me by showing up at the Ritz Carlton for lunch I thought but turned into a walk on the beach. He packed my favorite wine and had a blanket to sit on.  It was a beautiful sunny day. I turned to lay the blanket down then turned around and found him on one knee with the box and him asking me to marry him!”

Amber and Grant’s Maui Micro Wedding took place on the historic grounds of the Steeple House in Kapalua. With authentic architecture from the 1950s, this venue brought a touch of tradition to a modern and elegant ceremony. Beneath rolling skies and amongst a handful of loved ones, Amber and Grant tied their lives together. 

The Maui Micro Wedding

Wearing a lace mermaid gown with a sheer demi-veil and a touch of diamond accessories, Amber is simply stunning. She utilized the private onsight getting-ready room to add the final touches to her bridal look before making her grand entrance onto the walkway. After sharing a touching moment with her father, Amber graced the terrace and Grant couldn’t hold back his tears of joy. 

Our Couple’s Story

Amber works at a title company in the real estate business and loves witnessing the magic when someone buys a home for the first time. Grant is a welder for an oil field company. Together, they love church and spreading the word of Jesus. God is a big part of their relationship and they strive to be better Christians every day. Their favorite pastimes include going on adventures and traveling. So far they’ve been to Aruba, Florida, Cancun, Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, and Yellowstone National Park during the wintertime. With both in their early twenties, they plan to simply enjoy their youth and explore life together in the upcoming years. 

Amber and Grant went to the same high school, but with Grant a couple years younger than Amber, she never really knew who he was. But he knew who she was! Amber graduated with Grant’s brother, so one day Grant sent her a Snapchat “hello” and the rest was history! They’ve been together for nearly three years and just bought a house together (congratulations!). 

In December of 2020, Amber and Grant took their first trip to Yellowstone. As they were hiking the trails by Henry’s Fork River, Grant got down on one knee in the knee-high snow and asked Amber to marry him. She said his words were sweet and sentimental, and she began to cry. It was an intimate moment and the perfect start of an ageless lovestory.

Nestled in the heart of Kapalua, Katee and Ryan’s Venue Wedding in Maui took place in the scenic yard of the historic Steeple House. The island brought her best weather, with streamers of golden sunlight and plenty of tropical florals. This ceremony was one to remember.

The Steeple House features its original 1950 architecture with chapel ceilings and plantation elements. We love this location because it offers a spectacular view and has an onsite area for final touches. As Katee and her girls finished the details, we stood by as she took in those magical moments before stepping out onto the aisle. 

Draped in a lace gown with a button-down back and lush, wavy locks that would make the ladies of Hollywood green with envy, Katee was simply stunning. We could not look away, especially when she smiled! Keep scrolling for the magic moment when Ryan first lays eyes on her!

Our Couple’s Story

Katee works in Human Resources, and Ryan is pursuing his MBA. Both recently moved to Oahu for a change of pace and to embark on their new career paths. Because they were new to the island, they joined Meetup.com to meet other 20-somethings and build connections. Little did they know one of those connections would result in the love of a lifetime! The connection was instant!

During a trip to the north shore with friends, Katee and Ryan shared their first kiss on the sand beneath the moonlight, with the sound of the crashing waves in the background. Within months it was official! Together they own a condo and two adorable cats. Although we have to say, these two take the cake when it comes to cuteness!

The bridal suite provided a cool setting for Saleena to put the final touches before her walk down the aisle. She looked so gorgeous and we really loved capturing all her beauty and excitement. She walked out of the Steeple House to the ceremony setting where Todd and her friends and family awaited her arrival. Their stunning ceremony was officiated by Saleena’s brother which made the vows even more special. Afterward they all celebrated with group portraits and some cake!!

This photo really portrays the setting for Saleena & Todd’s outdoor wedding experience. It was a beautiful event shared with family and friends with a gorgeous blue ocean in the background while being surrounded by warm temperatures and a beautiful green landscape.

The

Saleena & Todd’s hook up was such a sweet (and direct) story. Saleena’s mom actually hooked the two up! She went right up to Todd in the shop they worked together at and asked if he was single? Mom got his number for Saleena so she texted him later that week. The two have been inseparable ever since! Thanks mom!! Nice work!

Saleena & Todd decided that on their wedding day they wanted a few portraits of the two of them but it was also very important for them to celebrate with their family. They chose to add on another 1 hour session the very next day so that they could get some more memorable shots just the two of them. We really enjoyed having the extra time with them, they were relaxed, happy, and looking amazing for their portraits!!
