A Maui vow renewal isn’t always about recreating a wedding day. It’s about honoring everything that came after. For Rosie and Edwin, it was about fifteen years of choosing each other through long hospital shifts, late-night studying, blended family chaos, and the quiet, everyday courage it takes to build a life together.

They met as nurses in a cardiac ICU, where connection happens fast and authenticity matters. From there, life moved quickly, in the best, messiest way. Graduate school with kids in tow. Anesthesia training side by side. A family of four stitched together with love, patience, and grit. They did things a little backwards: had a child together, then got married at a Miami courthouse during their very first week of anesthesia school, and hearts already fully committed.

Ten years later, Edwin surprised Rosie with a ring upgrade and the engagement moment she never had. A ceremony, though, stayed on the someday list.

This Maui trip was already a bucket-list vacation, but Rosie quietly planned something more. Edwin thought they were heading to the beach for portraits. Instead, at DT Fleming Beach, with waves rolling in and the light turning soft and golden, he found himself standing in a vow renewal he never saw coming.

Baker, with one stranded car, one kindhearted fisherman, and a moment that quietly changes everything. That’s where Riley and Garrett’s story first took shape. when they were just 19 and 20, both newly planted in Bellingham, Washington, both chasing new chapters, and entirely unaware that they’d just met their forever.

Nearly seven years later, after building a life shaped by tides and tenacity. Riley is now serving with the United States Postal Service, and Garrett is working year-round as a commercial fisherman. Garrett proposed a New Year’s trip to Hood River, Oregon. It was simple, meaningful, and perfectly them. Keep reading to see more!

Haley and Cooper’s Maui beach wedding at Ironwoods was the kind of day that feels like a perfectly written love story, complete with sweeping ocean views, a soft breeze, and two people who couldn’t stop looking at each other like they’d just fallen in love for the first time.

Their story began on Tinder almost seven years ago, and in a full-circle twist of fate, their wedding day coincided with their dating anniversary, which also happened to be International Peace Day. (Yes, the universe has an excellent sense of timing.) After getting engaged on a Maui beach in April 2023, it only made sense to return to this island of magic to say their vows!

Haley, with her adventurous spirit and radiant smile, looked breathtaking against the dramatic cliffs and rolling waves. She’s the kind of person who fills her days with creativity and kindness, whether she’s running her pet-sitting business in Kansas City, chatting with strangers in a coffee shop, or sketching out her children’s book ideas.
