Did Elmer and Joan find the perfect location for their Maui venue wedding, or did the venue find them? Either way, it was a match made in tropical heaven! Elmer, the ever-busy electrician/rancher, and Joan, a dedicated stay-at-home mom to their two beautiful daughters, Arielle (10) and Natalie (4), have a full plate, to say the least. Between managing their 80-acre ranch—with 50 mama cows, a couple of horses, three dogs, and a dozen hens—they somehow found the time to plan a magical island wedding. And thanks to our incredible team of Maui wedding planners we made it happen!

Originally, they had set their sights on the Philippines, but when the pandemic hit and restrictions popped up, they quickly pivoted. Now here is where Maui into the picture—less busy, more a country lifestyle, and exactly the vibe they were looking for. The island already held a special place in their hearts, having visited once before, and this time, they would make it the setting for their big day. After 13 years together, including love at first sight (thanks, Elmer’s ice cream invite!), two kids, a home, and a life they built together, it was time to make it official!

Their day at Gather couldn’t have been more perfect. A stunning tropical arch framed their heartfelt vows, with friends and family cheering them on. The celebration continued on the lush lawn, laughter filling the air before they headed to Southside Beach. There, a breathtaking sunset was the cherry on top of an already perfect day!

Michael and Oliwia’s Maui beach wedding was nothing short of a dreamy, sunlit fairytale. This charming couple, hailing from the northeast of England, brought their love story to the stunning shores of Maluaka Beach, creating memories to last a lifetime. Michael, a dedicated chemical engineer, and Oliwia, a warm-hearted customer service liaison, met at a New Year’s Eve party that Michael hosted during his university days. Though the party was the backdrop, it was a pre-event message from Oliwia that sparked a daily conversation that never ceased!

Their engagement was a testament to Michael’s romantic side. He transformed their home into a wonderland, complete with a candlelit aisle leading to a flower arch, making their engagement a delightful surprise for Oliwia. Having never visited Hawaii before, they chose Maui for its breathtaking natural beauty, eager to start their next chapter surrounded by its tropical allure. It was also Oliwia’s dream too!

Their wedding day was as sweet as their love story. Maluaka Beach provided a stunning backdrop for their heartfelt ceremony. The couple was overjoyed, their happiness palpable to everyone present.
