Nadya and Jacob’s Maui beach wedding featured glowing love, a joyous family, and a sunset that dreams are made of! Set on the shore of Polo Beach, this beautiful ceremony was the perfect meld of sophistication and the wild tropics. And we just couldn’t get enough of our couple’s adorable little girls! There’s so much we’re excited to share!

Jacob waited patiently as he faced the ocean and awaited the beginning of the marriage to the love of his life. When Nadya stepped out, he couldn’t contain his happiness. Nadya was simply stunning in a couture gown with hand-embroidered beading and carrying a custom cascading bouquet of orchids and tropical greenery. What an entrance!

Reverend Kuya officiated with warmth and grace, and soon it was time for the big kiss to seal the deal! Nadya and Jacob celebrated their first few minutes as husband and wife among loved ones and with their sweet daughters in their arms. As the daylight faded away, a vivid sunset of bursting hues stretched across the sky. It was the perfect ending to a perfect day.

Like some of the best love stories, Nadya and Jacob met in high school. They work together in Nadya’s family’s construction business and have two beautiful children together.
Since the beginning of their relationship, Jacob felt marriage wasn’t in their future because it was the love that mattered, not the documents. And there is no question that Nadya and Jacob have endless love for each other! But one day, he changed his mind, and last summer he surprised Nadya with a ring and a very important question! The rest is right here on our blog!

Mahalo nui loa, Nadya and Jacob, for trusting us to coordinate your Maui beach wedding. We had a great time getting to know you and your loved ones. We wish you all the happiness in the years ahead!

Judging from their bright and airy Maui beach elopement, you’d never guess that Megan and Russel love all things spooky! This amazing couple was married last week on the shore of Baldwin Beach with a peachy sunset and all the beautiful smiles! We were thrilled to be able to coordinate their big day!

To showcase their personalities, our couple wore unique outfits that perfectly melded with the Hawaiian shore. We love how Megan’s Rustic Hawaiian Bouquet adds a bold dash of the tropics and pairs beautifully with her delicate flower crown. Russel looked fantastic in a traditional suit with a splash of blue.
Reverend Kuya officiated the ceremony, and Gaucho Visual broadcasted the event live to friends and family back home with our “Wish You Were Here” package. It was the perfect way to bridge an elopement into a celebration with loved ones.

Megan and Russel told us such a fun story about how they met, that we want to share it with you! From our bride: “We were actually set up on a trip to Hollywood Studios during the Halloween Horror Nights Fest. His sister (one of my best friends) and her friend tried to get us to meet for the longest time, but it never worked out–either I was sick or bailed, or he was busy. After we met, we went on a few dates to haunted houses coupled with mini-golf and roller coasters, and became inseparable.”

“It probably sounds silly, but we love standing in lines together because it’s so reminiscent of when we met. As for our engagement, we planned a trip together to the coast where my family has a ragged old cabin that hasn’t been touched since the 70s, and hands down one of our favorite places in the world. Before the trip, I hand-painted a puzzle to look like the scene in The Shining when the doors open in the hotel, and painted backwards “Will you marry me?” Clearly, he said yes.”
How amazing are these two?! Keep scrolling for more!

Congratulations, Megan and Russel! Thank you for trusting us with coordinating your Maui Beach Elopement! We hope you have plenty of booo-tiful adventures together in the years ahead!

After realizing it would be difficult to gather all their friends and family under COVID restrictions, Joanna and Eric decided to have a small and breezy Maui beach wedding. They wanted their special day to be simple, dreamy, serene, and intimate. Consider their wishlist granted! This wedding was everything and more.

Set on the sweeping sands of Southside Beach, Joanna and Eric tied the knot in one of the most beautiful places on earth. Together since college, the love and friendship shared between these two is undeniable. When they first met, their friends referred to Joanna and Eric as “soul friends,” and now they’re also “soul mates.”

We love the retro yet classic look of our couple. Wearing a bodice-hugging gown with gorgeous lace accents and warm and fresh makeup, Joanna is absolutely beautiful. Eric sported the perfect wedding attire without the jacket for a toned-down, beach-friendly look. But the best thing they wore were their adoring expressions, just look at these two!

After the ceremony, our Karma Hill Photography met up again with Joanna and Eric for some dreamy trash the dress moments! Enjoy their adorable story as you scroll through the stunning images!

Joanna and Eric met at a week-long summer camp with TRS. They hit it off immediately as if they’d known each other for years! Our Bride shared a wonderful story about their engagement, and we’d like to share it with you.
From our bride: “This past February, Eric planned and executed a perfect romantic week before popping the question. On February 13th, Eric surprised me with a stay-at-home date night: sushi making and sake tasting! He bought all the ingredients and supplies needed, and we made our own sushi and tasted yummy sake. The next day, Valentine’s Day, Eric surprised me with horseback riding on Folsom Lake!”

“Afterwards, we went wine tasting outdoors. The following day, Eric surprised me yet again and took me zip lining at a local outdoor adventure park. That night, Eric told me to pack a suitcase because we would be leaving for a trip the next morning! On February 16th, we drove to San Luis Obispo County, on California’s central coast, to begin our getaway.”

”Eric dropped me off for a mani-pedi, and then we got ready for dinner. Eric told me we would have dinner delivered on the beach. When we got to Shell Beach, Eric said we had to wait a few minutes for the food to arrive. We started taking pictures. At one point, Eric told me to turn around so that he could get a picture of me staring off into the sunset. When I turned around, Eric was on one knee holding out a ring and telling me all the things he loves about me. I don’t remember a single thing Eric said, but I definitely said YES!”

Mahalo nui loa, Joanna and Eric! We wish you a bright and joyous future!

Last week, Sunday and Mike had the sweetest Maui beach elopement with their cute children serving as flower girl and ring bearer. There was no need to decorate for this beautiful ceremony because Po’olenalena Beach had all the sparkle! It was a gorgeous morning with crisp ocean breezes and soft sands.

Our couple’s daughter opened up the ceremony with her cute smile and delicate petal-tossing. Her adorable grim was contagious! Then her beautiful mom stepped out onto the shore and the day felt even brighter! Mike watched as the love of his life walked towards him, and you could feel the excitement and joy in the air.

Reverend Kuya officiated the ceremony with warmth and his joyous personality. The traditional Hawaiian lei exchange confirmed Sunday and Mike’s commitment with a touch of culture and elegance. The ceremony was simple and beautiful in all the right ways.

After the “I do’s” our couple and their sweet family were ready to celebrate! Our team at Karma Hill Photography captured Sunday and Mike with a custom “Just Maui’d” sign, perfect for showcasing their beautiful union! Then it was time for high-fives and enjoying the sunlight! We could not get enough of their amazing energy and happiness! Keep scrolling for all the precious moments!

Beichuan & Yixiao celebrated their love with an elegant Maui wedding on the beach. The Kanaha shore featured sweeping ocean views and vivid tropical colors. With three of Beichuan’s friends in attendance and a bride and groom brought together by destiny, this was a ceremony made in the clouds.

Wearing a gown with a train that danced in the wind, Beichuan looked absolutely stunning. Yixiao watched on with a look of pure happiness. There was a soft breeze during their Big Day and the sun shined brilliantly as it drifted closer to the horizon. Reverend Kuya officiated the union as Beichuan & Yixiao glowed with smiles and love.
After so many missed encounters growing up, our couple says there must be something magical that brought them together, at the right time, at the right place.

Beichuan & Yixiao know they first crossed paths way back in elementary school, but because they were both crushing on someone else, neither have a memory of meeting. It wasn’t until college where serendipitous meetings, one after the next, made them realize Destiny was trying to tell them something.
Love found its way into their lives, and now here they are, joining in marriage with a Maui wedding on the beach!

Beichuan & Yixiao have different personalities but both have a similar outlook on life. Maybe that’s what makes them so perfect for each other! Keep scrolling for more beautiful images of Beichuan & Yixiao’s sweet day!

Cristina and Eddie dreamed of a simple Maui Beach Wedding, which meant they were the perfect fit for us! With friends and family cheering them on and a gorgeously coordinated wedding party, Cristina and Eddie said “I do” in the most tropical venue imaginable. It was a long-awaited moment and truly an unforgettable day.

Gentle clouds drifted across the Maui sky as Cristina walked down the aisle. With the powder-soft sand of Polo Beach beneath her feet, our bride looked radiant. We love the elegant draping of her gown and the touch of crystal details. Eddie pulled off a classic look with a twist, wearing a tailored suit in a buttery off-white to match his groomsmen. When the big moment came, Reverend Kuya officiated with warmth and smiles. There was no limit to the celebration on the shore that day

Cristina and Eddie met where they tell their children “not to go looking for love”! It was after 10 pm in the Rose Room of a nightclub in Austin when Eddie laid eyes on Cristina and swore she was an angel. Originally, he didn’t even plan to go out. But a friend (and maybe destiny) changed his mind! Soon after, Cristina and Eddie were dating and it was nothing but love from then on.
Together they have six beautiful children between them: young adults, teens, and one pre-teen! They love being a blended family, even if that means fewer dates! Keep scrolling for more of this amazing couple and a sunset that will take your breath away!

Diane & Craig didn’t need to do much to have a great Maui beach wedding. Simple Maui wedding provided their Maui wedding coordination, and Mother Nature provided the amazing backdrop. All this couple needed to do was show up and be in love. They did a great job at that!
We’re so excited to share all these amazing photos Karma Hill Photography captured at their Maui beach wedding. It was an especially beautiful sunset – scroll down to check it out!

To keep things simple and worry-free, Diane & Craig arrived to the beach together. Free of last-minute jitters, these sweethearts were excited to begin their ceremony and finally become husband & wife.
Reverend Kuya offered a traditional Hawaiian blessing, while Manutea Nui E provided classic ukulele music. As the palm trees swayed and the waves gently rolled to shore, Dine & Craig smiled their way through a heart-felt ceremony.

Diane & Craig came to Hawaii for a peaceful and intimate ceremony. They were so grateful for all their friends and family supporting back home and were sure to get great photos to share with everyone. They also streamed their Maui beach wedding online thanks to Live Maui webcasts.
Our “Wish You Were Here” upgrade option allows virtual guests to watch the ceremony later that same evening. The footage from the ceremony stays online, so the newlyweds can look back on their ceremony anytime they want!

After the ceremony, Karma Hill Photography captured gorgeous sunset photos with Diane & Craig. We thought they were happy as they arrived to the beach… After their ceremony they were simply elated! It’s such a joy to see a couple in their first moments of marriage. The sunset at this Maui Beach Wedding was simply stunning, but nothing compared to Diane & Craig!

There was so much to love about Kendyl & Cole’s wedding in Maui! The Rustic Hawaiian Ruins provided a dreamy setting, perfectly shaded by palm trees and decorated with tropical plants. Their ceremony was made complete with Hawaiian traditions and ukulele music. Their guests had such a great time, but most importantly, Kendyl & Cole were totally in love!

These two love birds got engaged at Sweetheart Rock in West Maui, so it was only appropriate that they become husband & wife in Maui too! They are an adventurous couple whose personalities balance each other perfectly.
Karma Hill photography captured their wedding & portraits. Kendyl said she wanted their weddings photos to be natural & authentic. That was pretty easy considering this couple is so natural with each other. Check out how they make each other smile throughout the evening!

Kendyl & Cole had been enjoying a vacation with their guests, and had a honeymoon to look forward to also! They decided not to see each other before their ceremony, so we got to witness Cole’s reaction as he saw Kendyl walking down the aisle.
The drive over to the venue from Kaanapali was stressful for some of the group, as traffic got really bad that day! But they were all smiles as they arrived. They were simply excited to be a part of such a happy event in a beautiful place!

After the ceremony, we took some photos with their friends & family. The shady & breezy setting at the Rustic Hawaiian Ruins helped keep the guests cool and comfortable during the ceremony and their pictures. After that, the guests headed off to Gannon’s in Wailea, while the newlyweds enjoyed some romantic portraits at the beach.
The Karma Hill Photography team took so many great shots at this wedding in Maui, but we especially love those dreamy beach shots just before the sun went down. Keep scrolling to check it out!

From the rolling ocean to the beautiful couple madly in love, Cortlin and David’s Maui venue wedding felt like stepping into a storybook romance. Set against the sweeping lawn of Olowalu Plantation House and with plenty of cheering loved ones in attendance, this wedding was practically plucked from a dream!

Poised and elegant, Cortlin looked like a woman about to step into her happily ever after. Wearing a classic gown with modern fitting and perfectly swept hair, she was dressed for the occasion! The show-stopping moment came when David turned and took her in. Nothing says “My life just fell into place” better than his sweet expression! Keep scrolling for all the special moments!

Cortlin works as a surgical tech in the operating room, and David works for a mortgage company working on the finance end. Together they have two fur babies and love hanging out with their cuties and taking them for walks.
Cortlin and David first crossed paths while working together, and they quickly realized they also worked well together as a couple! They were engaged during a trip to Arizona to visit Antelope Canyon. Cortlin describes it as “The best day ever!” We can only imagine! And now the couple has another best day ever, their Maui venue wedding!

On the shore of Polo Beach with just the ocean watching on, Shari and Kevin chose to Elope in Hawaii. The day brought glistening waters and dramatic, textured skies. With Reverend Kuya officiating their union, the love and excitement on the beach between Shari and Kevin was uncontainable.

Shari made her entrance wearing a lace gown with a simple cut and classic draping. Carrying a Rustic Hawaiian Bouquet with blooms of tropical flowers and a beachy braided updo, she was simply beautiful. Kevin’s expression when he laid eyes on his bride was nothing short of pure love and joy. And the smiles and sweet moments just kept coming!

Shari works for American Express within Risk Management, and Kevin works for Orange, a French-based telecom company in Sales. They have three girls between them–19, 22, and 23–who are all super ambitious and make Shari and Kevin very proud to be their parents!
Shari and Kevin met online during COVID (talk about a silver lining!). Their first few dates were long walks around the lake in Austin, as they got to know each other in the open air. They decided to elope in Hawaii to celebrate the start of their lives together on a beautiful island that neither of them has ever visited before. Keep scrolling for all the magic!

Crisp air and a sapphire ocean set the stage for Kim and Cedric’s Hawaii destination wedding at the 5 Palms in Wailea. With highlights of white and bursts of tropical flowers, this ceremony was classic yet modern with a tropical twist. But no matter how gorgeous the venue, nothing could outshine our beautiful couple and the sweet and genuine love they share.

Reverend Kuya began the ceremony with the deep and soul-stirring sound of the Hawaiian conch shell, cueing Kim to make her big debut. Wearing a Roman-cut gown with a lace bodice and delicate pearl hair accents, Kim is take-your-breath-away stunning. We could not get enough of the genuine smiles when our bride and groom met at the archway. How sweet are these two?!

Following the ceremony, we took the newlyweds down to the sandy shore to capture their celebration against the setting sun. From dancing to cheering to sweet embraces, these two had us smiling from ear to ear. It’s so clear that for Kim and Cedric forever is just the beginning.

The Maui sun didn’t hold back and put on a gorgeous show that seemed like it was just for Kim and Cedric. Bursting tangerines and soft hues of blue grays lit up the sky with the subtle purple silhouettes of the islands in the backdrop.

Codie and Seth’s Hawaii Beach Elopement featured golden sunlight and the salty ocean breeze. They said “I do” in front of the rolling ocean backdrop of Baldwin Beach in the small town of Paia. After the pandemic made it nearly impossible for a large traditional wedding, Codie and Seth set sail for the islands for the once-in-a-lifetime experience of an intimate elopement with just the two of them.

Reverend Kuya opened the ceremony with the reverberating sound of the Hawaiian conch as Codie and Seth held hands and awaited the moment they would tie their lives together. Wearing an off-the-shoulder gown in pure white and with princess draping, Codie is stunning. We love how her anuenue bouquet adds a pop of vibrancy to the modern attire. These two were simply the sweetest. From the shared smiles to the bubbly laughter, it was clear from the start that Codie and Seth were meant to be.

Codie owns her own photography business and works part-time as a waitress at Applebee’s. Seth is a police officer in Fremont, NE (thank you for your service!). Together they have one son, named Jaxson who is 14 months old. They don’t get much free time between working and taking care of their little one, but when they do, Seth enjoys gaming and lifting and Codie loves doing homebody tasks.
