We were really looking forward to Candice & Jordan’s Maui Beach Wedding — and it did not disappoint! Lahaina Shores served as the spectacular setting, with calm blue waters and a pastel sunset sky. And Reverend Kuya’s heartfelt ceremony warmed us like the tropical sun.

But the best part of this Hawaii Destination Wedding? The Couple! Candice and Jordan are absolute sweethearts, and we couldn’t get enough of their romantic and joyful spirit.

A Grand Arrival for a Memorable Ceremony

Candice and Jordan arrived separately to Lahaina Shores Beach. Though their wedding had a relaxed vibe, they still wanted to include some traditional elements. So they didn’t see each other until the ceremony began — until Candice made a glistening entrance onto the beach.

As Maui Beach Wedding Coordinators, we get asked about this a lot. Couples want to know if they can include some of these traditions, like special entrances or custom vows. And we say, absolutely!

With the thoughtful guidance of their onsite coordinator Rebecca and Reverend Kuya, this darling couple enjoyed that show-stopping arrival that will endure as a core memory throughout their lives.

And their Karma Hill photographer was there to capture it all — the adoring smile on Jordan’s face, the sweet moments of the ceremony, and the much-awaited moment when they’re finally pronounced husband and wife. Incredible memories from a simple yet elegant Maui beach wedding!

The Portraits & The Details

Once Candice & Jordan were officially a married couple, it was time for them to soak it all in. This meant getting some incredible portraits around Lahaina Shores Beach. We adore this time during Maui Beach Weddings. It’s a chance for the couple to get some alone time while taking in their stunning surroundings. Plus, they’re able to get a gallery of portraits that will forever serve as a time capsule to this day.

So we took this perfect pair all around the beach. Into the surf-town-style shopping plaza by the shoreline, under the swaying palm trees, and into the grassy park that lines the sand. We got detailed shots of Candice’s gown and her tropical bouquet, and little candid moments that define the couple’s romance.

And it all led up to a spectacular sunset! The Maui sky took on a pastel golden hue as the sun dipped into the water, marking the end of their wedding day but the start of their forever.

When Kelsey and Naj decided they wanted to tie the knot in Hawaii, they knew they wanted a beautiful, elegant, and memorable destination wedding. As we captured their newlywed portraits on the beach, Kelsey and Naj could barely contain their excitement for their future together. They are lost in each other’s gaze in these photographs! Kelsey took our breath away (and Naj’s!) in her sleek gown with her pastel blooms! They are so springy and fresh! Naj is equally handsome and casual cool in his sand colored three peice suit – very dapper!

Erika and Joshua’s Maui venue wedding was pure tropical elegance! They’ve always dreamed of having a tropical wedding and were allll about a nice vacation to boot! After considering various US locations to tie the knot, they finally chose Maui because of its beauty and easy-going lifestyle…

Their wedding day was filled with love and joy, surrounded by close friends and family who were ecstatic to witness these two tying the knot. And it felt like a vacation for everyone who attended! Their big day began with a “First Look” with Erika’s dad and then her husband-to-be, Joshua. The look on both of their faces is priceless! It was a touching and sweet moment that warmed our hearts!

Their Maui venue wedding at Gannon’s in Kihei had the most magnificent view! The stunning geometric golden arch served as the altar, adorned with all-white flowers, which was a romantic backdrop for the couple’s vows. Erika and Joshua love the outdoors and nature, so naturally, they felt right a home with the lush greenery and foliage… albeit a tropical version compared to the deep forests of Oregon!

We couldn’t help but smile right alongside everyone in attendance! After exchanging their loving vows and several hugs and cheers from guests, our newlyweds snuck away to Southside Beach for some stunning sunset portraits…

The sunset looks like a painting in the sky in these photographs! The light from the setting perfectly reflects the warmth and intimacy of their love. The happy newlyweds are so wrapped up in the moment, lost in love with each other. It was a simple and elegant affair, surrounded by close friends and family under the bright morning sun. When Janna visited Maui, she knew she wanted to get married in Hawaii! The Best Morning

It was a bright blue sunny morning at Polo Beach for their intimate Maui elopement, making their wedding photos vibrant and colorful! Morning ceremonies are generally brighter and bolder due to the clear and intense sun. But our lovely couple was so excited to get married right on the beach first thing in the morning! We love how Janna and Alex chose nontraditional colors like lilac and deep green (with white, of course!)for their wedding attire; they complemented each other beautifully. The only missing guests were their furry “kids” back at home!

With many cheers, laughs, and hugs, our happy newlyweds walked further down the beach for some more intimate portraits with just the two of them. Janna and Alex are completely wrapped up in the romance of the moment in these photos, with the tropical setting in the distance…Thankfully, they had each other by their side to walk across the lava rocks to look out to the sea…and their future!

Katie and Jacob were thinking of spending their honeymoon in Maui until they stumbled upon our company, Simple Maui Wedding, and they figured, why not just get married here too? They knew they wanted something simple and intimate with their closest friends and family, and our Maui venue wedding package turned out to be the perfect fit!

Our lovely couple lives in Charlotte, North Carolina, with their fur baby Charlie. They met through mutual friends at a house party and quickly became friends and realized there was something more… “Everything felt so easy and natural,” Katie said about their early days of dating. Flash forward to them moving in together during the pandemic and Jacob proposing at their “happy place” on the back porch overlooking a marsh in Charleston! We feel so privileged to be able to be a part of their love story on their special day…

Their intimate Maui venue wedding took place at the stunning setting of Merriman’s in Kapalua. There was a gentle ocean breeze, and the shine shone down on our happy pair. We love the vibrant floral arch they choose for their ceremony! It was natural, beautiful, and elegant…just the feeling they dreamed of for their big day. Their friends and family were so happy to have made the journey to see these two wed! Neither Katie nor Jacob have been to Maui, so it must have felt totally surreal and like a dream!

Our Future Together

Don’t they make a gorgeous pair? Katie looked stunning in her lace gown and vibrant bouquet. Jacob’s aloha shirt peeking out underneath his sharp suit, caught our eye too! Love it. Since their ceremony was just on the lawn in front of the ocean, it was easy to walk down to the beach (even in a long dress!) for some newlywed portraits. The soft light from the setting sun created some dreamy and glowy photographs…We hope Maui is another “happy place” in their hearts!

Kid Friendly Celebration

Their Maui beach wedding began on a beautiful morning at Southside Beach with their nearest and dearest…including their three kids! It was a heartful and family-orientated ceremony, which is exactly what they hoped for on their special day. It was so sweet to see their beautiful daughter Harley, 3, serve as their flower girl who was happy to be in mama’s arms! Everyone was so excited to be there under the bright sunshine to honor this happy couple…

Our happy newlyweds opted for our “Just Maui’d” sign for a few beach portraits! And as the sign says, Jen and John looked effortless and at ease on the beach. Jen’s lace gown was elegant yet beachy with a sultry slit on the side. A true natural beauty! John couldn’t stop smiling at his beautiful bride…

Bright Maui Mornings

Since their Maui beach ceremony began in the early morning, the colors and light of their photos turned out so vibrant and bright! The bright greens, turquoise ocean, gold sand, and pink confection of Jen’s blooms radiated in the bright sunshine. So, if you are planning to get married on the beach in the morning, do keep in mind that the sun can be very strong (and hot!) but no less beautiful! And as you’ll see, they were ready to share a kiss and a few splashes in the clear water…

If you can’t tell already, we love this venue because of the panoramic view of the ocean from the grassy lawn. The spectacular view and the intimacy of the tropical setting make this spot one of our favorites. You can feel the tropical ambiance through their stunning ceremony photos… Even though their Maui venue wedding was a destination location, everyone was so happy to be there to celebrate our happy couple!

A Day To Celebrate

Everyone was ready to celebrate the happy newlyweds! Even though it was an intimate Maui venue wedding, the energy was no less full of excitement and lively! Kristin and Riley were surrounded by love and well wishes throughout the day… But before they went off to celebrate at their reception, we captured a few portraits by the water’s edge at nearby Southside Beach. And since these two love fishing and anything outdoorsy, the natural beauty of the ocean was the perfect romantic setting for some newlywed portraits!

After many hugs, kisses, and well wishes from their fun-loving families, our newlyweds walked onto the beach to take a few more intimate portraits with us. As they strolled hand-in-hand, it felt surreal to them to be celebrating their love in Maui! It was time to take their shoes off and let newlywed bliss begin!
