It was another gorgeous day for our happy couple, Melissa and John’s Maui venue wedding! These two were drawn to the natural splendor and magic of the island…the fragrant flowers, the turquoise waters, the sunshine… what’s not to love? They thought it would be a wonderful vacation for their friends and family too…

Melissa, a Real Estate Lawyer, and John, an electrician, may come from different professional backgrounds, but one thing they definitely have in common is their love for adventure and friendly competition. With a shared passion for kickboxing, scuba diving (John’s thing), hiking, playing cards, fishing, and even running errands (yes, you read that right!), this dynamic duo knows how to make every moment count.

On their special day in Maui, surrounded by their nearest and dearest, Melissa and John chose Gather – a stunning venue overlooking the picturesque South Shores. The anticipation was palpable as John awaited Melissa’s entrance. And when he finally turned around, his reaction was nothing short of priceless! Love filled the air as these two souls reaffirmed their commitment to each other…

Gather in Kihei provided the perfect backdrop for their celebration, with swaying palm trees, privacy, warm sunshine, and a relaxed vibe that instantly put everyone at ease. Melissa looked absolutely radiant in her exquisite lace gown, capturing everyone’s attention as she walked down the aisle. The knowing looks of love and devotion they shared say it all! And just like that, they are husband and wife!

Golden Glow

After their relaxed Maui venue wedding ceremony, the newlyweds and our photographer ventured down to the enchanting Southside Beach. And what a sunset it turned out to be for our happy pair! With the tropical waters glistening in the background, they captured the first moments of their married life together. The dreamy sunset portraits perfectly encapsulated the romance and love that filled the air, creating timeless memories they will cherish forever!

As the sun began to set, casting a golden glow over the ocean, Melissa and John couldn’t help but feel overwhelmed with gratitude. Our new Mr. & Mrs. savored the moment and each other. One of the greatest pleasures of what we do is making couples’ dreams come true! Leann and Cory married in 2012 but never officially had a wedding. They were married in a courthouse in a hoody and jeans, so their recent celebration is a far cry from that moment, and one they deserve and dreamt of! Fate had a hand in bringing Aimee and Greg together! They met while working at a country club and kept in touch over 10+ years. It was only until they reconnected in Austin at a concert in 2017 they bonded while solving the riddles on Lone Star bottle caps! So sweet. And our Texas lovers have been inseparable ever since!

While they were planning for a dream Hawaii vacation with Aimee’s parents, they thought Maui would be a beautiful landscape to exchange vows in a small, private ceremony with just their family. From the Lone Star state to the sandy beaches of Hawaii, their love story continues with their beautiful Maui elopement! As you’ll see, they had a beautiful evening surrounded by their loved ones and the aloha spirit…

Aimee and Greg’s Maui elopement was sweetness and light! It was a glorious evening at Maluaka Beach – the light is so golden and soft. Maui’s golden hour is one of our favorite times of the day for wedding photography coverage because everything looks painterly and dreamy. The tropical ambiance was all the decor and features they wanted (and needed!) for this beautiful moment…Their family was thrilled to join them with toes in the sand and the warm sun on their faces. Our happy couple are co-parenting, raising an amazing 15-year-old daughter, Eleanor, who is their pride and joy. All in all, it was the elegant and relaxed ceremony they dreamed of for their special day!

These two couldn’t stop smiling throughout their Maui elopement! The way they look at each other in these portraits says everything… after long-distance dating and star-crossed paths, this moment finally arrived when they can say they are “Just Maui’d!”

Aimee’s lace ankle-length dress looks so elegant and romantic. The delicate embroidering is so stunning on her, don’t you think? And it perfectly compliments Greg’s olive green suit! They are both from Forsyth, Georgia and grew up in the same neighborhood, unbeknownst to them until they were in high school! It was only when they began dating did they realize they were so close, and they have been together ever since, for ten years to be exact! How sweet is that? A small-town romance in every way! The beautiful Wailea Beach Resort provided the perfect setting for their special day. Set against the stunning backdrop of the ocean, the ceremony took place under a driftwood arch adorned with vibrant tropical blooms that took our breath away!

As Lauren and Cody exchanged their vows, their faces were filled with raw emotion, from love, joy, and reverence. It was a bittersweet moment that touched the hearts of everyone present. Cody’s mother was there in spirit at every moment of their special day…

Kayla and Zach are a couple who share a deep love for the magnificent Hawaiian Islands. From the moment they met, they knew that Hawaii would be an essential part of their lives together. Their spiritual bond with the Islands added a unique aspect to their Maui beach wedding, making it a truly magical experience! But first, let’s talk about Kayla’s beautiful entrance! That dress is a showstopper! It was untraditional yet still felt bridal, with pink roses speckled all over. Very romantic! She looked amazing with her floral crown as she walked down the sandy aisle…

I Knew It Was You

Their Maui beach wedding was nothing short of magical! They chose Maluaka Beach as the setting for their special day. This beach on the island’s South Side is known for its stunning views of the ocean, sunsest, and tranquil atmosphere, making it the perfect setting for Kayla and Zach to exchange their vows. They had a few close friends and family in attendance, and everyone was so excited to see these two tie the knot finally!

When you know you know.…our lovely pair knew of each other from the gym and through friends, but Zach said he knew right away the moment he met Kayla that she was the one! Hawaii gave it’s beautiful blessing to these two lovebirds and now they are husband and wife!

The newlyweds look like they stepped out of a dream in these portraits! Well, it was a dream and now it’s reality! It felt surreal to the happy pair and the joy was all over their faces. We all could use a little more whimsy and romance in our lives! Our lovely couple, Marisa and Ashkan’s Maui venue wedding, was an enchanting celebration of their love story. As a pandemic couple, they had only been together for two years, but their bond was strong and unbreakable. They met on Hinge in early June of 2020, and ever since their first date, they have been inseparable!

Our happy pair wanted their day to be effortless, simple, and carefree with a little bit of whimsy into the mix and thanks to our incredible team and partners, we made that dream come true!

Maui Felt Right

We felt like we stepped into a romantic fairy tale at their Maui venue wedding at Merriman’s Kapalua! The soft light made it feel even more enchanting for their inimate vow ceremony. Maui holds a special place in Marisa’s heart too! Her parents remarried right on Kapalua Beach when she was just four years old. Both love the island, so Maui only made sense when it came to planning out their special day!

Their wedding ceremony was held right by the water, where the pastel tones of the day shone through. From Marisa’s enchanting dress to Ashkan’s mauve three-piece suit, every element of their day felt unique and romantic…

A magical petal toss felt like the best way to celebrate the new Mr. & Mrs. Hosseinzadeh after their enchanting Maui venue wedding! Their friends and family couldn’t be happier for them…They will have a larger reception party later in the year to celebrate, but this moment was just for them!

We recently spent the most magical day with our lovely couple, Macy and Blake! Their Maui venue wedding was a beautiful explosion of tropical flowers and natural beauty, with a touch of elegance and romance. Every element of their special day was perfect, from the orchids, tropical bounty, and palms at the altar.

So, let’s first start with a bit of history of our lovely pair! Macy is a high school biology teacher, while Blake is an accountant, and they enjoy spending time together at the lake or cabin and hanging out with friends and family. They also graduated from Mississippi State University and got engaged shortly after, and they’ve been together since 2013! Their wedding date was extra special as it fell on their 10th dating anniversary, making it a perfect celebration of their love and commitment to each other. Macy’s parents got married in Maui, and they wanted a stress-free and beautiful wedding just like theirs! That’s where Simple Maui Wedding came in, as you’ll see below!

Altar In Paradise

This gorgeous styled altar is so breathtakingly beautiful! We love the fresh white and green color palette they chose for their Maui venue wedding at our Rustic Hawaiian Ruins. The historic open-air chapel only enhanced the natural beauty of the decor! Our floral partner, Dellables, did a fantastic job of making their celebration so special!

Their beautiful Maui venue wedding was filled with love and happiness, with their close friends and family in attendance to witness their vows. It felt like a corner of paradise just for these love birds! We were so touched by the thoughtful details and the tender moments they shared during their ceremony. These two now can officially say they are “Just Maui’d!”

After saying, “I do,” they drove off in a flashy Mustang to the beach for some stunning newlywed portraits! Riding off into the sunset in style (and love!)

Sarah and Nasir’s Maui beach wedding was a beautiful and intimate affair we were so honored to coordinate! They chose our services based on our stellar reviews and gorgeous photos, and we were thrilled to make their special day stress-free.

Sarah and Nasir met at work while he was her boss (!), and a year later, he actually left her area so they could date, believe it or not! They’ve been together since 2016, and on Valentine’s Day 2020, Nasir proposed on their balcony with only their daughters and puppies present – it was the perfect romantic moment. Fast forward to this beautiful day, they took another step in their love story, as you’ll see below…

“Must love dogs” should be these two’s intro to their romance! Ashley and Jesse’s Maui venue wedding was the perfect reflection of their fun personalities and love story. These two lovebirds met over 13 years ago while working at a restaurant on and off… One day, Jesse returned to the restaurant to try and pick up some shifts when Ashley walked in with her new puppy, Biggie just before her shift began. That was the moment it all started, and the rest is history…

Fast forward 13 years later, and Jesse surprised Ashley on their anniversary with a helicopter ride into the mountains, where he got down on one knee and proposed! Ironwoods Beach feels like an extra special place, so we were excited to plan Fallon & Travis’ Maui Hawaii Wedding there.

The cliffs are looming yet protective, the ocean powerful but beautiful, and the winds are often intense and decisive. It’s a place where you can thoughtfully and joyfully marry, where you can stand before forever and confidently say “I Do.”

Fallon & Travis chose to have a simple wedding, giving them space and time to reflect on their relationship. We’re so happy we got to be a part of their day. Their entire group was supportive and fun, and we’ll talk more about their guests-of-honor later.

Their Most Valued Guests

Fallon & Travis’ Maui Hawaii Wedding marked the beginning of their marriage, but it also had another significant meaning. See, this sweet couple is blending their families. Fallon brings her two young kids, and Travis has his teen daughter. The three guests-of-honor were such a joy — supporting their parents, shining during the ceremony, and adding a lot of personality to the entire event.

The kids were a big part of why Fallon & Travis chose a Maui destination wedding. They were able to get away and have a family vacation, creating a wedding memory that the kids could fully enjoy.

Now, when they look back at their wedding day, Fallon & Travis will see their own love story, but also the greater story of their family, of a support system that extends to all their loved ones.

Choosing Ironwoods Beach For a Maui Hawaii Wedding

We talked a little earlier about how special Ironwoods Beach is. This secluded spot tends to have high winds and hit-or-miss sunsets. But it also has a totally unique landscape — tall cliffs, glistening light gold sand, bright blue water, and lush green accents.

Fallon & Travis were a perfect fit for this romantic, one-of-a-kind spot. After their ceremony with Reverend Kuya, they got lots of portraits around the beach. They walked along the sand and then headed up to the top of the sea cliffs, where the sunset views were outrageous.

We could tell this sweet couple was having a great time at their Maui Hawaii Wedding, and now they have incredible photos that showcase the beauty and energy of their big day.
