This Magic Moment

As a Maui wedding coordinator, we get to be there as couples and their families experience an array of emotions. One of our favorite parts of the day is the moment the couple finally gets to be together at the ceremony. They’ll arrive a little jittery and very excited, and then a wave of calm hits them as their eyes meet and they join hands.

Nelanina & Johnny had an incredible energy at their Maui Four Seasons wedding. You can tell they are simply meant to be, and some kind of greater force brought them together.

Their ceremony was filled with so much romance and trust, joy and peace. We’re so grateful we got to be a part of it!

Crossing Paths and Journeying Together

Nelanina & Johnny traveled from Miami to have a Maui Four Seasons Wedding. They were treated to incredible weather, amazing sunsets, and memories they’ll treasure for a lifetime.

If you had asked Nelanina a few years ago, she would have told you she’d be living in Hawaii by now. That was once her plan. But then she found something better.

Was it fate that led them each to paddle board in Biscayne Bay that day? Were they drawn to each other before they had even met?

They crossed paths in nature, doing something they both loved. And soon, Nelanina decided her future was in Miami — not Hawaii.

Of course, she still ended up in Hawaii. But in a different way. Journeying through for their Maui Four Seasons Wedding, they were able to enjoy the best of our islands together.

And they’ll continue to journey through life together, building their business and collecting memories from around the world.

Their destination wedding in Maui is just part of their grand life adventure, a series of moments and experiences both big and small.

Dana & Brian are such a sweet couple, and their Maui Beach Wedding was amazing! We met this terrific pair at Polo Beach last week. The palm trees were swaying, the birds were singing, and their loved ones were cheering them on!

A Beautiful Hawaiian-Inspired Ceremony

Dana’s dad walked her onto the beach. Brian waited for her there, full of excited jitters and lots of love. Then Reverend Joe led the pair in a heartfelt ceremony. He included Hawaiian traditions and Christian elements, so it was true to Dana & Brian and held a strong sense of power.

Their children stood beside them for their Maui Beach Wedding. Family is everything for Dana & Brian, as they come into the marriage with bright, loving, and beautiful children.

Dana & Brian also included their own vows in the ceremony. This allowed them to go beyond the script and add their own story and truth. We were all in tears as they shared these emotional and joyful words with each other, and we know their vows will carry them through all of life’s ups and downs.

Love at First Sight Leads to a Maui Beach Wedding

After their ceremony, Dana & Brian took some romantic photos around the beach. This is one of our favorite parts of a Maui Beach Wedding!

This was their chance to enjoy some quiet time in this scenic setting, and we got to learn more about their incredible love story.

It was fitting that they married by the water, because that’s how their romance began. While boarding the ferry in San Diego, Dana took notice of the handsome man in front of her. She was drawn to him and knew she wanted to get to know him better. And so she did.

Dana & Brian got engaged here in Maui. It was Valentine’s Day 2020, and they were on a romantic getaway. They knew they wanted their wedding to be an intimate celebration that could be fun for them, their parents, and their children. So they decided to return here for a Maui Beach Wedding.

We’re so glad they did! This photogenic couple is as kind as can be, and we loved spending this warm, romantic evening with them!

It was an absolute honor to be Emily & Colin’s Maui Wedding Coordinator! This Texas pair traveled to Hawaii to exchange vows and celebrate with their nearest and dearest. You’ve got to see the sunset these two were blessed with!

The Steeple House Maui served as the stunning setting for their ceremony, and Ironwoods Beach brought it home with vibrant evening colors.

Setting Up for Success

Dellables helped us create a beautiful ceremony setup for Emily & Colin. Emily chose the Wailea Sunset bouquet, and her arch flowers matched the vibrant, tropical color pallet. The green lawn and canopy tree at the Steeple House are a blank slate for any wedding style.

Emily & Colin’s decor selections honored the natural scenery surrounding them while adding a little extra flair to personalize the space.

Then we headed inside, where Emily was patiently awaiting the start of the ceremony. It’s what every Maui Wedding Coordinator loves to see when they arrive at a venue: a gorgeous, relaxed couple, counting down the moments until they say “I Do.”

We were excited to begin the ceremony, which Rev. Joe Miles warmly officiated. He brought all the guests to tears as he led Emily & Colin through their heartfelt vows.

Toward the Sea – Planning Portraits with their Maui Wedding Coordinator

Marrying at a Maui wedding venue allowed Emily & Colin (and their guests) to have a comfortable ceremony. The Steeple House includes an air-conditioned staging area, full seating, and an indoor chapel we can use if the weather turns bad.

As perfect as the venue is, these two lovebirds still dreamed of beachside bliss. So we included beach portraits in their Maui Wedding Coordinator plans.

Karma Hill Photography captured some breathtaking images of Emily & Colin at sunset. Ironwoods Beach is just a couple minutes away from the Steeple House, and the sunset this evening was exceptionally beautiful.

Autumn & Bradley brought so much heart and beauty to their Hawaii Beach Wedding. Their small, seaside nuptials were simple yet stylish, and we’re grateful we got to be a part of it!

From pastel skies to dreaming eyes, each detail was amazing. Ahead, we’ll share some sweet moments from their ceremony and relive their touching love story!

Finding Perfection in the Balance

When Autumn & Bradley first booked their Hawaii beach wedding with us, we asked them to share a little about themselves. We love what Autumn wrote:

“While I’m wild, Brad is grounded. While I’m quick at making decisions, Brad is contemplative. While I’m
imaginative and theatrical, Brad is inventive and tactical. It’s this balance that makes our relationship so perfect.”

We loved seeing these personalities blend seamlessly during their Maui Wedding. And a small, quiet elopement seemed like the perfect fit for this spirited pair.

When Autumn was a teenager, she never imagined getting married, even though she knew Bradley then and joked about him being her husband. What was once a joke is now a reality. What was once a youthful friendship is now a lifelong romance.

Now, these two work for the same company, raise their angel cats, and find comfort in each other arms.

Their Hawaii beach wedding allowed them to focus on each other as they shared their vows, and the gorgeous scenery inspired them to find passion and beauty wherever they are.

A Relaxed Setting for Their Hawaii Beach Wedding

Autumn & Bradley chose Kanaha Beach for their ceremony location. This stretch of shoreline is located in Kahului and is often quiet on weekday evenings. It boasts pastel colors during sunset and a lush green forest.

Once they said their vows and officially became a married couple, it was time for them to take some portraits around the beach. The unique setting allowed Autumn & Bradley to show off their ethereal style and take in these first sweet moments as newlyweds.

Christine and Hunter’s Maui beach wedding was a tranquil, elegant, and fun event! Our passionate pair decided to have their ceremony on the pearl shores of Ironwoods Beach. Attending this sunset affair was four of their favorite people! Then after Rev. Kimo Kirkman pronounces our charming couple as husband and wife — they continued celebrating! Our Couple’s Story

Christine and Hunter’s story began when they met on Tinder in 2016. At the time, Christine was in college in Nebraska while Hunter attended the University of Arizona. Once the semester ended, Christine moved back home to Phoenix. However, Hunter spent the summer with his dad in Texas. Throughout this time, our delightful duo texted and FaceTimed every day. They even planned to meet in person for the first time. As soon as they saw one another, it was love at sight!

Why They Had A Maui Beach Wedding

Christine has always been a beach baby! Growing up, her family took her to San Diego every summer — she always loved the seaside. When Christine was six years old, her parents took her to Hawaii. She instantly became obsessed with the island. One day, she ran away from the resort and said she wasn’t returning to Arizona!

During her first summer here, they stayed at the Royal Lahaina. Christine saw a wedding taking place there; it was one of the most magical things she’d ever seen. Ever since she knew she wanted to get married in Maui! Christine and Hunter’s Maui beach wedding was a dream come true — and it was absolutely flawless!

Currently, Christine and Hunter live in Indiana. Our handsome groom is a Medical Information Specialist at Eli Lilly. Then our breathtaking bride is a behavior coach for kiddos! Our passionate pair enjoys spending time with their two dogs and doing fun activities around town.

We adore Marica and Ken’s beach elopement because it’s intimate and tranquil. Their ceremony focused on their connection and love for one another! This evening began when our passionate pair arrived at the shoreline together. However, our bride still made a grand entrance! First, Ken took his spot at the top of the seaside. Then Marica walked down the sand with her pastel bouquet in her hands! Once they were ready, Reverend Kuya blew his conch shell and delivered a heartwarming sermon.

Above all, our favorite moment is when Marica and Ken had their first kiss as a married couple! You could tell our charming pair was full of bliss. Of all the beaches to choose from, Mary and Charles made the right choice with Ironwoods Beach! This westside spot is packed with striking scenery and has a delicate sunset. In every shot captured by Karma Hill Photography, you can see the sapphire water, ivory sand, and dramatic lava rock formations. Then the weather was impeccable! There were a few clouds in the sky, so the afternoon sun shined vibrantly on the shoreline. As the sun lowered in the sky, its rays left a golden glow on the seaside. It created a romantic ambiance for this vow renewal!

Our Couple’s Story

Mary and Charles have known one another pretty much their entire lives! However, they’ve been together for about twenty-two years. Then, this past July marked ten years of marriage for our delightful duo! They have one beautiful daughter named Italia and are pre-deceased by their son, Charlie. Currently, Mary is a nurse, while Charles is in the construction industry and is an entrepreneur. Above all, Mary and Charles are an adventurous pair! They love spending time outdoors — no wonder they wanted to have a Maui vow renewal on the beach!

Our Couple’s Story

Angelia and Daniel met in eighth grade while line dancing. They continued to stay friends throughout their school years! Then after graduating high school, they began dating in 2010. Four years later, they had their son, Frankie! Daniel proposed to Angelia in August 2019 during their family trip to Disneyland. He popped the magic question in the Tarzan Treehouse!

The tall glass panel doors had a flawless view of the lush greenery, and the fresh Maui air flowed into the room! In addition, this spot had plenty of space for Mark and Brittany’s guests. Everyone sat comfortably and enjoyed the celebration!

After Kahu Ricardo Hanako’o pronounces Mark and Brittany as husband and wife, it was time for their photo session. Whenever it rains, the sky always looks breathtaking! You can see how the break in the clouds and delicate sunset enhanced the romantic ambiance. Then their photographer, Samantha, effortlessly captured Mark and Brittany’s newlywed bliss and joyful glow in every shot! Most importantly, our favorite thing about these photos is how they’re intimate and passionate.

Kristina and Matthew made their day unique for them and their loved ones! During the ceremony, the bride performed special vows for the kiddos and gave them meaningful gifts. Then when it was time for Kristina and Matthew to exchange words with one another — they personalized them! It was remarkable seeing our delightful duo celebrate their connection in their own way. In addition, we adored seeing them include their children in this occasion. You can tell their special day wasn’t just about them but also their little family!

The color scheme for this Maui destination wedding was dove grey, soft blue, and navy. We wouldn’t have chosen a different color palette — especially since these shades pair flawlessly with Ironwoods Beach! The cool tones in their attire perfectly complement the sapphire waves, ivory sand, and dramatic cliffs.

Stephanie and Amani told us they wanted their special day to be low-key, romantic, and tropical. A Maui beach elopement couldn’t have been more perfect for them! Lahaina Shores was the perfect backdrop; this spot’s natural landscapes created a breathtaking scene. Then, this sunset occasion was intimate because Stephanie and Amani were the only two in attendance! Most importantly, we like how beautifully CJ from Manutea Nui E enhanced the romantic ambiance. During this ceremony, he effortlessly played meaningful songs on his guitar!

The Tranquil Maui Beach Elopement

Our passionate pair’s story began when they met in graduate school! At the time, Amani was working on her Master’s Degree while Stephanie was getting her Ph.D. First, they developed a close friendship! Then, quickly our delightful duo fell in love with one another. After dating for about one year, Stephanie found the perfect time to pop the question. Stephanie proposed to Amani at a serene lake — this spot was meaningful because they’d hiked here before! Currently, Stephanie and Amani are university professors in Long Beach, California, and they have two adorable kittens!

Stephanie and Amani love enjoying life! They adore cooking, going on long walks, and doing fitness classes together. Once we learned this, we knew they would relish a Maui beach elopement!
