Before the ceremony began, Samantha from Karma Hill Photography captured some lighthearted moments. These little ones were adorable — and full of energy! We could tell they were excited about this event because they were grinning from ear to ear.

Adam was the first one to arrive at Ironwoods. Once he took his spot by Reverend Kimo Kirkman, it was time to begin the entrances! First, our delightful duo’s daughters walked down the sand and gracefully threw flower petals. After, it was our bride’s turn! Hillary walked down the beach with mom by her side. As expected, Adam’s face was full of nothing but adoration and love when he saw her!

To end this romantic beach wedding in Maui, Hillary and Adam had mini reception on the shoreline! Oren Masserman effortlessly played his ukulele as our radiant newlyweds had their first dance. They even had a sweet moment with their little girls during this tradition! Next, Hillary and Adam had a cake cutting and sparkling cider toast with their guests. However, throughout this post-ceremony celebration, you could see the bliss on Hillary and Adam’s faces. We knew this sunset affair was a dream come true for them!

Our Couple’s Story

Sarah and Josh met one another in high school. However, they were only acquaintances since Josh was one year ahead of Sarah. Three years after Sarah graduated, Josh private messaged her on Facebook and asked her on a date. In September 2013, they had their first date at Starbucks! Our charming duo instantly clicked — they said it felt like they’ve been lifelong friends! 

Like all couples, Sarah and Josh have had their fair share of ups and downs. However, their luck, love, and dedication are why they’re able to celebrate eight years of being together!

Why They Had a Maui Beach Wedding

Our adventurous duo decided to have a destination wedding because they were eager to travel again! Not to mention, their loved ones needed something exciting to look forward to. Sarah and Josh wanted their special day to be an intimate celebration with their closest family and friends!

Then they decided to tie the knot in Maui because this place feels like a second home to Sarah. Our bride has visited many times because she loves it here! Sarah and Josh knew the island’s warm and peaceful bliss would create the perfect ambiance for their sunset occasion.

Style Inspiration for a Maui Destination Wedding

Jolleen & Kalyn each had a unique style that perfectly complemented each other. Kalyn dazzled in a vintage-inspired wedding dress with our Maui Elegance Bouquet. Jolleen rocked a bridal jumpsuit and included pastel colors in her Rustic Hawaiian bouquet. Individually, they looked amazing. Together, they looked like a tropical dream.

But their look wasn’t complete yet! Rev. Kuya led them in a traditional lei exchange, so they offered each other strands of fresh orchids during the ceremony. This was a sweet moment, and it also added extra tropical flair to their A+ bridal style!

About This Couple

Jolleen & Kalyn met back in 2018 when they both swiped right for each other. What started as flirty Tinder chats evolved into a life-long romance. They now have a home together and are parents to three dogs and two cats. While they sometimes feel like they’re running a zoo, they wouldn’t have it any other way!

Once they got engaged in 2020, Jolleen & Kalyn began planning a Maui Destination Wedding. While they each had visited Hawaii before, this was their first visit together. It was a great location for their wedding and a much-deserved vacation for these hard-working nurses!

Where it All Began…

Cassie & James met over seven years ago when they were in nursing school together. But they kept their relationship a secret until graduation. Their quiet romance kindled a lifetime of love that led to this moment, sharing a lifetime of vows here in Maui.

Back home in California, they work hard as ER nurses. But even though they spend long hours at the ER, they still make time for each other and their little fur baby. They love watching movies, reading, and traveling. That’s why a Beach Wedding in Hawaii was such a great fit for them. They love visiting Maui and wanted to return here for this memorable adventure.

Lahaina Shores beach is such a beautiful location, and it was at peek beauty for Cassie & Jame’s wedding. After an overcast day, we were delighted by the golden pastel sunset that appeared during their couple’s pictures. But mother nature wasn’t finished showing off yet!

Alexis and Cody have known one another for over a decade! Initially, they met while working together at the same restaurant. Currently, they have a beautiful home they share with two kids. They also have a few cats, a dog, and some chickens!

Our Couple’s Story

Terra and Paul’s story began when they met one another on a popular dating app. During their first date, Paul waved a little bit at Terra, and the rest was history! Since they were both previously married, they took things slow. After being together for almost five years, we’re glad this lovely pair is tying the knot!

Terra and Paul are an adventurous duo! They enjoy fishing, hunting, hiking, golfing — you name it. Since they live in Montana, they’re always spending time outdoors. It’s no wonder they decided to have a Hawaii elopement on the beach; it was perfect for them!

Last week, we had the pleasure of helping Philip and Rachael tie the knot under the soft sunset! Our stunning couple’s Hawaii beach elopement was intimate, scenic, and romantic. Most importantly, everything about this ceremony was flawless! Keep scrolling, and you’ll find reasons to adore this event too!

Although Philip and Rachael had no guests in attendance, they ensured their friends and family could experience this occasion. Gaucho Visuals was the videographer, and they recorded this event effortlessly. Now all of our gorgeous couple’s loved ones can celebrate with them!

The Peaceful Hawaii Beach Elopement

This delightful duo came to the sandy shores separately. First to arrive was Philip! Our groom looked sharp in his navy suit — his attire will pair perfectly with his deep green maile lei. Next was Rachael, and she made a graceful entrance onto the beach. Rachael makes an exquisite bride; her gown is elegant, and styling by Simply Beauty Maui is chic! Above all, we like how graciously her vibrant bouquet and flower crown from Dellables complements her and Philip’s sophisticated outfits!

Our Couple’s Story

Rachael and Philip’s story began when they met at the University of Colorado in Boulder in 2007. Then in 2016, they got engaged in the Gardens of Eze in Southern France! Currently, our charming couple lives in Salt Lake City, Utah. You can find them enjoying the outdoors or exploring the world together in their free time! Lastly, our lovely couple decided to elope in Maui because they wanted this event to reflect their adventurous spirit! Rachael and Philip wanted to feel the same excitement they have whenever they visit a new destination.

After Reverend Joe Miles pronounces this radiant duo husband and wife, it was time for the cake-cutting ceremony! Soulfull Bakery provided our couple with a beautiful gluten-free treat.

However, we can see how in love our newlyweds are, thanks to the portraits by Karma Hill Photography. Philip and Rachael are smiling blissfully and glowing with joy in every shot! Not to mention, their photos capture the many adorable looks of affection they shared. Their ecstatic energy makes every Hawaii beach elopement photo look more intimate and romantic!

Ironwoods Beach and its breathtaking backdrops created a dreamy ambiance for this evening! The ivory sand, foamy sapphire waves, and dramatic lava rocks are a few of our favorite landscapes. Then, as the sun continued to set, a spectrum of delicate shades decorated the sky. These enchanting hues paired with the epic cliffs made a fairytale background for these pictures!
