We were thrilled when Bria and Michael’s Maui Destination Wedding day finally arrived! Not only was it a beautiful day, but it was also full of excitement. This bride knew she wanted to get married at Poolenalena Beach for two years! So you can imagine how happy she was to finally say, “I do ” on this sandy shore.
And this location definitely didn’t disappoint! I mean just look at it! There was an extra high tide during their ceremony and just before they exchanged leis, a wave surged up almost wetting Bria’s dress. So we quickly moved the ceremony near a tree further inshore. With loved ones, including Bria’s daughter Kaylee standing nearby, this bride and groom were more than ready to get married!
After their first kiss, Bria’s sister played “Under the Sea” from the Little Mermaid. And then it was time for wedding portraits prior to a celebratory dinner at Nick’s Fishmarket. Where Bria had her first Goldfish cracker snacks after a year and a half of being on a paleo diet! We loved watching her celebrate in this simple yet enjoyable way 🙂 . The festive ocean theme of this Maui Destination Wedding made for a very memorable evening for all. After being together for 10 years, Kelsie and Nathan were so excited to get married at a Maui Destination Wedding! They’re from Australia and love Maui. So this was the perfect spot for them to say, “I do”. And we are so glad their family and friends were able to join them for this special occasion!
We could not have asked for a more incredible day for this Maui Destination Wedding! The lighting was perfect and the evening ended with the most amazing sunset. But that’s not all that caught our attention. This bride and groom’s wedding styling was also absolute perfection! Kelsie looked stunning in a wedding dress by Natalie Rolt. And Nathan looked dashing in a white button-up paired with classy yet casual khaki’s. Perfect for a ceremony on the beach! Well done you two 🙂 .
After taking the most beautiful wedding portraits with our sister company, these newlyweds were ready to celebrate with a delicious dinner at Nick’s Fishmarket. Yum! Being part of this couple’s Maui Beach Wedding was a pleasure! We loved helping them make this special day every bit as special as their relationship! Engaged in Paris and Maui’d in Hawaii Brittany and Rico were on a mission to start their marriage full of adventure and beautiful memories. Gathered together with both their moms their ceremony was very intimate, full of tears and heartfelt smiles.
Visiting Hawaii from Michigan for the first time made their trip extra special! They were so excited by all of the breathtaking sunsets, especially the one they had at their Maui Beach Wedding. One thing’s for sure, this is a day neither of them or their mothers will ever forget! Maui is sure to hold a special place in their hearts and we hope they’ll be back to visit again soon 🙂 . We were thrilled when Lori and Jonathon decided to have their Maui Destination Wedding at The Steeple House. This location is one of our favorites! And how could it not be? From the intimate bridal suite for getting ready, to the outdoor setting and beautiful indoor option it’s the wedding venue dreams are made of. We especially love that this couple decided to have their ceremony outside with their reception inside. Talk about a perfect set up!
Prior to their Maui Destination Wedding Lori and Jonathon were both a little nervous so having a first look was a really sweet moment for them. We love that they were able to share this time alone just before their ceremony. And we’re confident it’s an experience neither of them will ever forget! After saying, “I do” surrounded by loved ones our newlyweds were ready to head down to the beach for portraits with our sister company. Not just any beach though, this couple enjoyed a nice walk at one of our most popular beach locations, Ironwoods. So as you can see from beginning to end, this truly was a day to remember. We are so glad this couple chose us to help plan the Maui Venue Wedding of their dreams! They were so sweet and such a pleasure to work with! Kaitlyn and Colton decided to have a destination wedding so they could really soak in the moment of their special day with loved ones. They gave extra special attention to everyone who made the trip out to Hawaii and made sure everyone was included in their wedding photos.

This bride and groom decided they wanted to share a first look moment prior to their Maui Venue Wedding officially starting. We absolutely adore the look of excitement on Esteban’s face when he turned around and saw Alexandria in her wedding dress! And how could he not look excited? She was absolutely stunning from head to toe!
When it finally came time for their Maui Venue Wedding to begin, everyone stood and turned to watch as our bride’s father escorted her down the aisle. What a beautiful moment, and we’re sure it’s one none of them will ever forget! And if that wasn’t enough to make this the most memorable day ever, our newlyweds also had the most amazing sunset during their portrait session. I mean just take a look at that gorgeous golden glow! Helping Shannon and Nicholas plan the Maui Venue Wedding of their dreams was an absolute honor! They were both so sweet and a pleasure to work with. Plus we were thrilled when they chose to have their ceremony at one of our favorite wedding venues, the Steeple House. This location can’t be beaten, not only is it gorgeous outside but the set up inside is amazing! Just see for yourself!
Not only are we glad we got to be part of this couple’s wedding day, but we are so glad these two found each other! Even if it was in a roundabout way, because let’s be honest, those are always the best stories anyway 🙂 . Our groom is from Australia and our bride is from Michigan, but they ended up meeting in Florida! Nicholas was there working on a boat, and Shannon was visiting on vacation when their paths crossed. They dated long distance for a few years, prior to Shannon making the leap and moving to Australia! Talk about a love story that has traveled the world!
At the close of their Maui Venue Wedding, our newlyweds were ready to celebrate with a celebratory dinner at The Plantation House Restaurant. Which is conveniently located just across the street from where they said, “I do”. We told you this location had it all! Prior to their Maui Venue Wedding, this bride and groom have been together since 8th grade! We love that their story has been going on for so long! It was especially fun to see and hear how their family has been involved in their relationship. Ashley’s dad even gave a toast about separating them at the school dance way back when they first met! And her mom is the one that suggested having the wedding in Maui, and we are so glad she did!
After their beautiful ceremony at Dragon Fruit Farm, our newlyweds were ready to head down to the beach for wedding portraits with our sister company. We were so excited when Tracy and Jared asked us to help make all of their dreams come true by planning this very special and meaningful Maui Venue Wedding. They originally were just coming for a family vacation and along the way decided to also make it a destination wedding, and we are so glad they did 🙂 . Maui is extra special to Tracy because it was her late grandmother’s, who was like her mother growing up, favorite place! So getting married here was a sentimental way for our bride to feel close to her grandmother.
After meeting at a work event (they are both commercial property managers in the Bay Area) 5 years ago, this couple was more than ready to say, “I do” at their Maui Venue Wedding. We couldn’t help but notice how relaxed and in love they both were, just as it should be! With a bond like theirs, we have no doubt they will have the most amazing life together as husband and wife. It’s not every day we get to help plan a surprise Maui Vow Renewal and it might be our new favorite thing! Although celebrating love is always our favorite! We cannot get over how sweet it was for Peter to put together this special surprise for his wife. And we are so glad it all went according to plan, and what made it even more meaningful was their daughters Heather and Tiffany’s involvement!
When they arrived at the Fairmont Bonnie thought they were just there for a nice dinner. However, when Peter “proposed” on the grassy lawn Bonnie was so overcome with love and emotion. What a beautiful tone to set just moments before the actual Maui Vow Renewal! As Bonnie and Peter made their way onto the beach, they were greeted by their daughters and the ceremony went off without a hitch. We are confident this is a day none of them will ever forget. We were thrilled when despite the rain this couple decided to still get married outside for their Maui Destination Wedding. They didn’t come all the way to Maui for an indoor wedding and didn’t mind getting married in the rain one bit! And neither did their wedding guests, in fact, they all cheered when we told them that the ceremony would be outside!
After a sweet ceremony and some fun shots with their guests, we moved inside where they danced the night away! And what an incredible dance party it was. The excitement in the air was so strong it was almost tangible! One thing’s for sure, this is a Maui Destination Wedding we won’t ever forget and we’re sure neither will our happy couple or anyone in attendance! We had the best time being part of Mariah and Derek’s Maui Destination Wedding! And how could we not, they seriously are such a fun couple! We especially love how they arrived together, but got creative so Derek wouldn’t see Mariah before it was time. He drove while she sat in the back seat holding up a beach towel, so he wouldn’t peek at her throughout the drive! How clever is that?! Derek also told us that while they got ready, he had his eyes closed so he wouldn’t see her in her dress too soon. Talk about dedication! Our bride seriously did such a good job hiding her dress, especially considering she had it for 6 months!
Their ceremony started while the evening was softly lit by rainclouds and it drizzled all the way up until their couples portraits. After that, it was beautiful and there wasn’t a drop of rain! In fact, their sunset was breathtaking because the sun ended up showing it’s golden hour glow for a few minutes just before it set. Which left Mariah and Derek extremely happy because all they wanted was just a little sun on their Maui Destination Wedding day, and they got that and more!
